“After much anticipation, my fiancé and I went to Diorio to celebrate our anniversary several months ago! This spot has been high on my list of restaurants to visit ever since they reopened after COVID and remodeling. The interior was so charming, with a classy vintage feel that I absolutely loved. The menu definitely had some good choices, and while everything we ordered was good, we did agree that we’ve had better. Mostly we thought my fiancé’s ribeye could’ve used more seasoning, but the truffle butter that he had with it definitely added to the flavor. The pasta with my chicken parm was a bit cold, so it must’ve been plated before the chicken. One of the highlights for us though was when the waitress came around with a platter to showcase their desserts - it helped us make our decision on the banana banoffee and chocolate cake. The banoffee was excellent, but the chocolate cake was a little dry. Overall, I do think this is a great option to have in downtown Waterbury, and I would still come back to try some other dishes. We came on a weeknight and were impressed to see that it got pretty busy at peak dinner time!“

“My wife and I arrived irritated and hungry after a 7 hour drive with so much traffic, we were looking for a place to sit down and eat, though there are two small tables inside this isn't the place for that. They stayed busy with calls and customers coming in and now after having a couple slices I know why. I'm not even sure what slices I picked, I both had bacon on them and one was a white pizza slice, and though I was worried because it was nearly 8 pm at night and who knows how long they had been sitting on display I wasn't in the mood to go somewhere else.Fast forward to my wife and I getting to our hotel and opening up the box and taking a bite, I smiled, it was one of the best bites of pizza I've ever had from NY to Italy to Germany to all over the US. My wife had one of their chicken sandwiches which was delicious too. “I came here for dinner with my family and girlfriend and I must say the food is absolutely delicious but it is a little bit smaller than the Milford location. At the time when I went, there was another major party going on just arriving with Quinnipiac university which these women filled up most of the dinning area. I did call ahead of time and put a last minute reservation but still this restaurant needs to expand and have a separate area for parties it is way too small. A lot of people don't like to sit at the bar area for dinner squeezed into a booth with a noisy party eating buffet style.“

“My family and I walked into paesanos pasta house and I ordered an medium pizza which was ready in only 15 minutes but what impressed me was I also ordered a 2nd pizza an extra large for my mother and I was able to watch the cook make the pizza by handstand the whole order both pizzas were ready to go in about 40 minutes or less highly recommend to try their pizzas. “I hosted my aunts 90th birthday yesterday. The pre party planning was easy thanks to the expertise of John and Joe. The day of the event was spectacular. The service was second to none. The food was delicious and plentiful . I am so pleased we chose this venue for our special event!!“

We were seated promptly upon arrival in a corner booth which was out of the way and perfect for our date. Or server was attentive and answered all of our questions on the menu. “Back in December 2022 I had my baby shower at East Street Eatery, and it was amazing. The food, the service the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. So perfect I came back to have my daughter’s first birthday party in 2/2024, and once again it was amazing. The service was impeccable, we had Nancy running our room and she was phenomenal. Gina, the manager is so attentive and was there to answer all my questions throughout the whole planning process. The food was so good, all my guests talked about how good it was. The price is so reasonable, for what you get. And we actually left with leftovers! Highly recommend for any occasion!“

“We went to one of the newest restaurants in town last night. The food was excellent. We had the Market salad which was the best salad I ever remember eating. Subtle, interesting and flavorable blend of ingredients and dressing. We shared their pork chop dish and enjoyed how it was cooked - moist, tender and tasty. The mixed veggies - roasted potatoes, brussel sprouts, onions in a special sauce complemented the pork beautifully. Server was pleasant and attentive. The inside decor/makeover is very attractive. Upon entering the establishment we were immediately greeted by Dom, the owner of the restaurant, who kindly sat us at the bar as we requested. The atmosphere was very welcoming - We honestly compared the vibe to Goodfellas/Encore in New Haven, except more casual and easy-going, if that makes sense. We ordered the New York strip steak and the Veal Sorrentino and both dishes were *chef's kiss*. The only thing better than the food were the drinks. I highly recommend the espresso martini. “I love Casa Di Roma food is great! My only complaint is the delivery. Your better off picking up. Saturday we waited 1 hr 1/2 to get our food - we called and it took another 15 minutes to get. By the time we got our food it was cold (soggy onion rings and subs). This was a one off issue so we will continue ordering from them.“

“We were traveling through the arena on Hwy 84 at 6 am and wanted coffee. Caffe Italia was the only place open so we drove into Waterbury. Winding our way there we almost decided to turn around and then…there it was. This was like walking into a little Italian neighborhood hangout….with EXCELLENT espresso! At 6 am there was a group of local Italians, reading papers, playing cards and generally sharing the days news. It felt like being at home with family. Great atmosphere! “Aziago's is THE PLACE for catering, and they were able to accommodate my food order for Christmas Day relatively close to the holiday. Due to multi-house traveling, I didn't have the ability to cook my Christmas dinner for family when they came over to my house for Christmas. Aziago pricing was extremely reasonable for catering. Sometimes, during the holidays, restaurants will double they prices for catering on the same dishes they serve on a regular night (I know from calling around). This was not my experience with Aziago. They were fairly priced and had a wide range of options to choose from (another restriction many restaurants have for holidays). The food was DELICIOUS. I chose to order alot of the classic Italian dishes in catering sizes vs. the standard Christmas dinner fare. It's probably some of the best catering I've had from a local restaurant. I didn't get a chance to eat there but the inside of their restaurant is beautiful (especially during the holiday). I will not only use them for catering next year, but I will 100% be dining in to enjoy their in restaurant experience. They won me over in a time when I needed help the most. Repeat customer earned“

“Hello! Me and my family's favorite italian restaurant will always be Vespucci's.This restaurant is a homey, not-so-hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Its dishes are served with much love and the service there is great. It's a very family friendly place and its perfect for a good italian dinner. Personally, when me and my family go here, I will always go for the Penne Alla Vodka. It's a tasty warm dish full of love. The pasta in the dish is always fresh and cooked perfectly. The sauce is homemade and is very smooth and delicious. The sauce the perfect mix of creamy and salty.“

When I get a fresh sub or salad from Nardelli's, I'm happy and full off of healthier great tasting food. It's just as fast!
