This spot has been high on my list of restaurants to visit ever since they reopened after COVID and remodeling. The interior was so charming, with a classy vintage feel that I absolutely loved. The menu definitely had some good choices, and while everything we ordered was good, we did agree that we’ve had better. Mostly we thought my fiancé’s ribeye could’ve used more seasoning, but the truffle butter that he had with it definitely added to the flavor. The pasta with my chicken parm was a bit cold, so it must’ve been plated before the chicken. One of the highlights for us though was when the waitress came around with a platter to showcase their desserts - it helped us make our decision on the banana banoffee and chocolate cake. The banoffee was excellent, but the chocolate cake was a little dry. Overall, I do think this is a great option to have in downtown Waterbury, and I would still come back to try some other dishes. We came on a weeknight and were impressed to see that it got pretty busy at peak dinner time!“
“My wife and I arrived irritated and hungry after a 7 hour drive with so much traffic, we were looking for a place to sit down and eat, though there are two small tables inside this isn't the place for that. They stayed busy with calls and customers coming in and now after having a couple slices I know why. I'm not even sure what slices I picked, I both had bacon on them and one was a white pizza slice, and though I was worried because it was nearly 8 pm at night and who knows how long they had been sitting on display I wasn't in the mood to go somewhere else.Fast forward to my wife and I getting to our hotel and opening up the box and taking a bite, I smiled, it was one of the best bites of pizza I've ever had from NY to Italy to Germany to all over the US. “Ordered a large pepperoni pizza for pick up, i drove down there and the older women was in the middle of making the pizza as i walked in. I paid for the pizza with younger lady there and i had a comfortable seat as the pizza cooked, i like to get the pizza fresh and hot as soon as it comes out of the oven to bring it home still hot for the family. The inside of restaurant looked clean and cozy for dine in, tv's playing and holiday lights on. The pie with one topping and tax came to $21.47 which is alittle more than i would like to pay for a one topping large pizza but all in all it was cooked well and tasty still when i got home. Something to note is that if you want to do a half one topping pizza, it still cost the same amount for the one topping cost which i don't particularly like when restaurants do that.“

“Aziago's is THE PLACE for catering, and they were able to accommodate my food order for Christmas Day relatively close to the holiday. Due to multi-house traveling, I didn't have the ability to cook my Christmas dinner for family when they came over to my house for Christmas. Aziago pricing was extremely reasonable for catering. Sometimes, during the holidays, restaurants will double they prices for catering on the same dishes they serve on a regular night (I know from calling around). This was not my experience with Aziago. They were fairly priced and had a wide range of options to choose from (another restriction many restaurants have for holidays). The food was DELICIOUS. I chose to order alot of the classic Italian dishes in catering sizes vs. the standard Christmas dinner fare. It's probably some of the best catering I've had from a local restaurant. I didn't get a chance to eat there but the inside of their restaurant is beautiful (especially during the holiday).
