“This is REAL NEOPOLITAN PIZZA. I went there recently with my cousins, who are from Naples, and they said it was as if they were back in Italy. Forget the cardboard Americanized pizza. This pizzeria is authentic and the owner is genuine. Cannot recommend enough.”
“Fantastic sushi bar. It’s pretty small and with limited bar seating which results in a more intimate experience. I got a red miso soup, the black cod appetizer, 2 hand rolls and 2 sushi bites, as well as a hen & heifer panna cotta dessert. Everything was delicious and the sushi tasted very high quality. It was fun to sit at the counter and watch everything get made as well. The only caveat is it can get pretty expensive if you go the omakase route (or depending on what kind of dishes you order)! I didn’t get anything to drink but there’s a nice selection of sake, whiskey and wine also!”
“The food is exceptional…creative and delicious. Great drinks as well. Awesome place.”

“Tonight’s experience didn’t disappoint! James served our party of four with good humor and excellent serving skills!our meals - each different - were delicious and creatively prepared! Thanks again, my neighborhood friends!
Parking: Consiglios has their own lot on Brown Street - but there is often parking in the neighborhood!”
“Four us went last night and it was phenomenal. Brenda took her time to explain the menu and all of our options. They were also able to accommodate us wimps that didn’t want super spicy dishes.”

“Stopped into Brick Oven as a suggestion from my high school buddy who lives in New Haven. Will be a place I frequent going forward in my travels to New Haven. The pizza was great but the customer service was even greater.. The owner actually took the time to converse with us and to have good pizza and good customer service puts this spot high on my list of places to go period. Da prez”
“I need to stay out of this place because I’ve been coming in too often! Awesome smoothies and tinctures. They can add mineral and herbal supplements to anything. A lot of the drinks here are probiotic, functional for immunity.”
“Awesome hospitality - great people - excellent food and fantastic family!”

“What Luke's does well, it does really well - the shrimp cavatelli is fabulous. Other dishes (especially the mains - we ordered about half the menu) were less memorable. It's dark and looks busy but the acoustics are good enough that conversation is easy. And it should be - you're next to the Schubert and a stone's throw from Old Campus and the Green.”

“Everything was great! My wife and I brought our two kids (14 & 11) there yesterday evening and everyone enjoyed themselves. The oysters, shrimp, and clam chowder couldn’t have been more fresh. Kids enjoyed their lobsters and our steaks were cooked perfectly. Our youngest thought our server Adam looked like Tom Brady lol. All around perfect- thank you!”
“I dined at Rawa one time but I recomme the lamb chops, pita, spicy chicken wings, chicken breast on a bed of lentils.”
“You must eat here! One of the great meals of all time. The food is spectacular and the service is just as good.”

“Ordered through the app used counter.
The place is still beggar's central years and years later.
Parked in first handicapped space. Can't enter because young Spanish girl on dirt bike has front against the building doing a burnout.
Next doing hole shots on lawn spewing gravel at entrance.
Got my order and sat down. No less than three times approached for money.
Per always some chick was going on a rant at the counter .
Keyed bathroom helps keep the junkies out but it was as cold as outside and no toilet paper.
Avoid this place. It can't be worth it to keep open all these years.
Next closest McDonald's is RT 80 Foxon boulevard.”

“I had an amazing opportunity to cater a wedding of two great friends at The Brewery. I don't have enough great things to say about the place. The building and its grounds are amazing, the brewery its self is gorgeous. Attention to detail is above par in all aspects. The Brewery room and tap room one of the best i've seen. The upstairs in sophisticated and approachable. The husband and wife owners are wonderful and they way they attend to their guests and bar none. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed and their beer is AWESOME”
“As soon as you walk in, your mouth waters. Smells amazing and the cupcakes and cookies..wow. personal favorites is the AlmonJoy and Strawberry Short cake cupcakes and her amazing banana pudding cookies. She does not make them often but her brownies are to die for...love love love them. You will not regret stopping by and trying anything avaliable.”

“First time here and went with a traditional cheese pie. YUMMY!! The sauce is amazing and for us it had just the right amount of cheese. Some will find the flop factor a negative but I truly didnt care as the taste made up for it!! We will for sure be back to try more menu items!”
“Stopped in for the first time June 16th, and again today on the 17th because it was such a good experience! The drinks were perfect, the food was great too! I tried the Spicy Miso Ramen, the Spicy dumplings, and the spicy boneless chicken and everything was "bussin". If you're ever in the city, I recommend trying this place out! *pork belly not shown in image cuz I ate it before taking the picture 🤤🥲”
“Great menu fresh and unique ingredients. Great cocktails and wines that pair nicely with menu. Everything was cooked and presented perfectly. I had the Niman Ranch Pork Copa. And some eggplant caponata crostini as appetizer. We stopped at the rooftop bar for a cocktail and snack. We had Tuna tartare with wasabi peas. Service ambience. Made it a perfect Evening and the Hotel is awesome too.”
“We had a fantastic meal at Caffe Bravo! We ordered the arancini and buratta for appetizers. The arancini reminded me of what you get from an authentic, local Napolitan eatery in Italy. The buratta was creamy and super fresh. For dinner we had freshly made gnocchi , the linguine and vongole, and the grigliata di mare. The gnocchi were like fluffy pillows that were made moments before getting to our table. The homemade linguine was perfectly cooked with plenty of clams. And the seafood was grilled to perfection with a tasty farro rice as a side. And then for dessert we had the homemade tiramisu and chocolate lava cake that put us over the edge. Can’t wait to go back and bring friends so they can experience for themselves. 💯 🇮🇹 #caffebravo #forzanapoli”
“Venezuelan cuisine flavors are very unique. And to replicate the flavors is not an easy task. However the food here is nothing less than extraordinary. It feels like Venezuela. We had arepas with shredded beef. The flavors were perfectly balanced and meet was cooked to perfection. We also had the tequenos. Delicious salty cheese wrapped in Pastry and deep fried and served with salsa rosada. We also had a cachapa. The combination of the queso de Mano with the sweet flavors of the corn reminded me of my days in Venezuela. We tried papelon con limón and chicha. Both typical beverages from Venezuela. Excellent. Will return.”
“The sandwich was absolutely delicious! I chose the medium spicy chicken and it was just right for me.....spicy and yummy. Braver souls can choose spicier options. The cole slaw was a perfect match for the sandwich too, a touch of spicy too! Highly recommend tjis restaurant. Best meal I've had in town.”
“love seeing people enjoying southeast asian food because I grew up with it. It’s what my family cooks and it is my comfort food. I enjoyed everything I ate last night at trivia night.
Tom kha gai creamy coconut chicken soup was super rich and flavorful. It had pieces of chicken breast, slices of shiitake mushrooms and grape tomatoes in it. It was great for an extremely cold evening.
Drunken noodles with duck was a group favorite. Flat, wide rice noodles were cooked till soft and chewy. Flavors of Thai basil and a little kick of heat paired well together. The duck could’ve been cooked to a nice medium. It was a bit over done for me but wasn’t dry. The dipping sauce for the duck was very fish sauce forward. I wish the duck was marinated with flavor so you can eat it with the noodles. I felt like I was eating two different dishes but it was really one dish. Highly recommend the noodle dishes here. The pad see ew is another favorite with the same type of flat, wide rice noodles.
Curry chicken was served with white rice. It had a little bit of vegetables on there but if it was cooked with red or green peppers it would’ve given a better presentation to the dish. Still very flavorful.
Laab tofu was served with lettuce, radishes and cucumbers. We usually eat it with rice at home too but you want the fresh produce to balance the savory, sour and umami flavors. I’ve never had it with tofu but my friend is a vegetarian so it was interesting and flavorful. The toasted sticky rice in the laab truly shines through. I would eat it again.
Fried shrimp with tamarind sauce was so delightful. Shrimps were huge, fried to perfection in a light tempura batter and drizzled with tamarind sweet and sour sauce. It’s also served with lettuce, radishes and white rice. I’d order this again.
Thai hot wings had a tasty sticky siracha sauce on it. It was sweet with a tiny kick to it. Chicken wings were delicious.
The rock sausage is served in a cute little basket over a bed of lettuce and sliced radishes. I would eat this with rice at home. The sausage was juicy and sweet. Very tasty.
Pineapple tofu fried rice had a beautiful presentation served in half of a pineapple. It was tasty and very pretty to look at!
Thai iced tea was sweet, creamy and refreshing. Sangria and lychee mojito was very good. The bar area is beautiful. The restaurant was packed. Atmosphere is beautiful.
I wish all the food came out at the same time so our group of 6 could’ve eaten together. Dishes came out one by one and food got cold. Also, the music could be turned down a tad so we could hear one another at the table.
All in all, I recommend this wonderful restaurant and I’d love to return to try different dishes.
Vegetarian options: All proteins can be replaced with tofu.”
“This was my very first time in this one particular and I was very much impressed with its cleanliness, elegance, and a majority of the presentation of their baked goods. 4 out of 5!!!! I’m terribly sorry that you lost a star but that matcha brownie tasted absolutely disgusting. Never again will I buy it!!! Sorry sweetheart but it’s lacking sugar. However I do love the sweet cream filled bread you sold me. Thank you very much for helping me figure out what I want for breakfast tomorrow. Lastly, the cream green tea cake was absolutely divine. All this from being served by an incredibly gorgeous and really cashier/manager who I had to tip handsomely. I’ll definitely stop by on payday to give their specialty caffeinated drinks a try.”
“Hands down the best Sushi I’ve EVER had in 40+ years. Can’t wait to go back. 👌”
“Very intimate setting. The wait staff were very friendly. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and the manager came over to congratulate us as well as give us a complimentary toast.”

“MOTW has the best chai in the city. I love the soft, creamy, silky texture of their Yemeni chai. I love the way they decorated the 38th st location, very inclusive and powerful pictures. Great spot to get some work or reading done. Also love their prayer or meditation area. It’s such a wonderful coffee shop. Usually Raadia is there when we go and she’s such a kind and friendly soul, always so helpful and customer focused.”
“My husband surprised me with a Princess cake. I mentioned I’d love to try one after seeing it in a baking show. He searched online and Marjolaine’s was the only place he could find. He drove over an hour to pick it up and it was well worth the drive! We just picked up a Dacquoise. This one was a request from our daughter. We tried a smaller version that was in the case. It was absolutely delicious! So light and airy and the flavor was divine! We are driving this cake all the way to NC and are 100% certain that our daughter will be thrilled ! We are heading back in the beginning of April for a Marjolaine for our daughter in law. It is well worth the trip!!!”
“First timer at WOW Tikka and very impressed. I’m
Not one to eat Indian food because usually it’s very spicy for me but must say there was options of mild and Gluten free! Food was very fresh. You can choose how spicy you want it! There are rice bowls, street food, Desi Burrito, desserts, refreshments!
The 2 ladies working were very pleasant and helpful. Even though it appeared empty there were many people ordering to go and a some that dined! Indian food keeps impressing me! It was delicious!”
“Usually their salads are delicious. But today i came by, right when they opened up (prob a mistake) and ordered a crispy chicken salad … My salad was done in about 5 mins …. ( how can chicken be cooked that fast?) Anyway, i tried to eat the salad for dinner. My croutons were stale, the bread was stale and tomatoes along with the cucumbers tasted like theve been sitting out from the night before. I doubt chicken was freshly made. I’m so disappointed. Next time i know not to come right when they open up.”
“On our way into town, we stopped at the Warwick location as our late night dinner. We’re so glad we did! Super friendly staff with great conversation, family friendly atmosphere and amazing pizza and salad. Our whole family was blown away! Definitely a must next time we’re back in town.”
“Family Mediterranean Pizza is a lovely place for all friends and family to have a taste of delicious Mediterranean food. They have have varieties of fresh food to serve and generally, ordered is prepared on demand within 10-15 minutes. They are Warm welcoming to all friends.🙂 I notice they have very special fresh Honey Cake (image 1-2), A very delicious mix Vegetarian (image 3-4). Each day, they offer one special dish to serve along with the regular menu that contains over 200 items. I will give 10/10 stars for their services and hospitality.”

“Our hotel was right across the street, so one night we decided to grab a late-night snack with a beer. This place delivered exactly what we wanted. The tots were hot, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. The boneless wings were fairly standard, but they met our expectations.”
“incredibly delicious fresh food. alway stop here to pick up for the family in Jersey when dropping my kid off at college. I love the stuffed peppers I have a kid obsessed with the tortellini.”
“An absolutely fantastic spot in the heart of the East Rock area. This gem offers a diverse array of freshly prepared dishes, including chicken, crab cakes, soups, beans, vegetable quesadillas, coffee, bakery items, and more. The indoor seating area has a charming setup, creating a cozy atmosphere. Most of the food is made in-house, ensuring quality and freshness. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. It's perfect for morning breakfast, a quick lunch, or an early dinner, and they also serve beer and wine. Prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the quality offered. Highly recommended!”
“Delicious food 👌 Chicken Shish is so goooood, just melted in the mouth. Had an amazing experience dining in outdoors. Murat, the chef/owner is a very approachable person. He even offered espresso and latte on the house. I’d go here as often as possible.”
“A pretty chill place. Staff was friendly, and there was a neat selection of games. Would've been five stars, but the only Ninja Turtles game there was the original, not Turtles in Time.”
“Always great fresh food! Wonderful local family providing a great product and top notch customer service!”
“Tuvimos la visita de mi hermano en Ohio y decidimos ir de paseo a New Haven para visitar a una gran Cheff peruano, la comida peruana de primera, atención muy buena, platos variados quedamos encantados el sabor exquisito nada que extrañar a 🇵🇪 Perú, muchas gracias Don Raúl Vásquez y esposa , quedamos visitarles de nuevo un fuerte abrazo”
“Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit today, the food was delicious and the service EXCEPTIONAL. Thank you for offering the GLUTEN-FREE injera and all of the creative vegetarian dishes... we loved the fresh and flavorful salads (Key Sir Selata and the Timatim Fitfit), then had the best Ater Kik and Tikel Gomen I have ever had in my life! We will definitely return, and highly recommend to anyone in search of authentic Ethiopian cuisine!”
“Ben is an amazing sushi chef! Friendly, creative, and like watching an artist! Enjoyed our sushi bar experience! Thank you!”
“I give Villa Lulu a solid 4, bordering on 5, but I'm so fussy, it's probably a 5. I save 5's for something so amazing I just can't describe it. After a brief snafu with who our waiter was, the staff was super accomodating with everything. They kept their promise to get us to the show on time. So, service ended up a 5 but started as a 2 or 3. Food, we had a variety of salads and appetizers, two main courses for 4 of us. All were very good., to excellent Atmosphere, 4, and I only detract because we had to walk up a steep flight of stairs to the dining room, so if you are physically unable to make the stairs, your options will be limited. There is al fresco dining but it was too cold. I am sincerely looking forward to returning and trying more options at a more leisurely pace because it's the type of place where you can actually carry on a conversation without the clatter of dishes and the intrusion of others' conversations. It's very warm and cozy and would be good for a romantic dinner. Reminds me of "The Big Night" kind of vibe.”

“This restaurant was well worth the hour drive to get there. They served the best potato salad I have ever had - & trust me I have tried hundreds of them in my long life. The vegetable dinner option I enjoyed today was perfect. I highly recommend the cabbage, black eye peas, and Caribbean rice along with the amazing potato salad. And I must add that the moist, scrumptious, and famous corn bread couldn’t have been better. Sandra’s is a place I will return to. I’m a vegetarian newbie who’s grateful for the nutritious, delicious food and the sweet and friendly service at this gem of a place.”
“14th annual Chris Webby show and first time going to the venue. Once in it was awesome. No communication about the meet and greet line and the regular line though until the very last minute was the only frustration”
“Simply tremendous breakfast and brunch food, atmosphere and service. The food is “Upscale Comfort Food” and is simply the best. From the coffee, Lattes, pancakes, incredible French toasts, omelettes, or specials like Shrimp & Grits. The breads and biscuits and other sides are all special. We went mid day on a Tuesday and there was no wait.”
“Best Jamaican food I’ve had yet! Great staff who love what they do and put pride in what they serve. Anyone who wants to try some great, authentic Jamaican food and have some good vibes, this is the place to come! 😁”
“Great atmosphere, great wait staff and fantastic food. The portions are large too!”
“This has been an amazing experience. I have been going here for years and have tried most of the items in the menu. The pizza and sandwiches are amazing and really shine in this retro diner especially compared to the rest of new haven. Everything is freshly made and really good.”
“10/10 as a first impression dinner. took my wife here for her birthday and she's deciding if it's top 3 or top 5 of restaurants we've been to. will be back. great service and extremely tender and flavorful dishes.”
“I’m not a regular patron of the old B&M deli but I can say I have tasted the old VS new and coming from another town, I am proud to say that the shoes have been filled! The quality and dedication that the new owners bring surpasses any deli nearby.( I can only speak within my parameters) we can all talk about quality meats which many places lack. Even your local markets! but If you’re hungry and want a savory sandwich/burger then this is your place! My fav’s are the Bacon Egg&Cheese And STK & cheese on a hard roll🤗”
“We had a delicious dinner and dining experience. We will definitely go back.”
“The best place to go for a night out! Great atmosphere and great service! Mama’s cooking is the best!”
“If you love great food, excellent service, and a trendy atmosphere, this restaurant is a must-visit. Our son, who’s a huge fan of noodles, insisted we try this place while we were in town, and it did not disappoint. The service was exceptional, truly going above and beyond.
To start, we ordered the KFC Bao buns and the red oil dumplings. The Bao buns were delightfully soft with crispy chicken, while the red oil dumplings were generously filled with meat and came with an excellent sauce. For the main course, our son enjoyed the Pho Bo Vien, which was said to be delicious, packed with plenty of meat and veggies.
Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that we’d highly recommend!”
“The best Restaurant in CT. A combination of good food, price, and attention, among other things, the kindness of its Staff. A great experience. I recommend it, you won't regret it!!”
“Great sushi, and the dinner plates are creative and delicious. My favorite Kosher sushi in CT, and better than most places in NYC and Long Island… Easily the best by price.”
“Great wing, awesome beer selection, killer music and friendly bar staff!
Wheelchair accessibility: Smooth ramp pavement to door. No automatic door but staff will hold it open.”
“Food is Delicious. Honey corn bread, honey lemon pepper wings, tacos on point. Just need a little hot sauce on the side. Will be buying Again. Oh and order with enough time gets busy ?”
“Wonderful evening, great service, and fabulous atmosphere! We were there to celebrate my sons white coat ceremony and I chose the spot after reading some recommendations. John Davenport's did not disappoint. Fabulous appetizers and the service was impeccable! We had the fried calamari/shrimp and fish taco appetizers. Both were outstanding. For dinner, we had short ribs and goat cheese salad with grilled shrimp. Both were fantastic. Highly recommend and I will definitely return.”
“Great food. This is authentic Puertorican food I will definitely comeback.”
“Every single time we go to Encore the experience is impeccable. The food the service and the ambiance. Chef Gerry and Andrea thank you for your hospitality and always making the experience amazing .”
“Top notch food and cocktails in a relaxed environment with reasonable prices.”
“Amazing people, delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere in a safe location—plus, the fresh margaritas and tableside guacamole are my favorites! Special thanks to Michael, Patrick, Tony, Katie, Steve and many more for their exceptional service! PS I can't find ANY margaritas like Geronimo in California, so stop what you're doing don't look any further, you've found the BEST spot to go!”
“Ordered veg biryani and paneer subji! The food was really tasty and delicious!! I would definitely recommend their paneer shashlik! You guys are my new favorite Indian restaurant!!! ***** 5/5 👌”
“So this amazing place was recommended by a friend from Madison and it did not disappoint! Authentic Szechuan in a beautiful room with high ceilings and soothing decor and music. One dish was better than the last and you cannot get this quality anywhere locally as far as I've been to. Go for yourselves and enjoy. Somehow we received cheesecake and chocolate ganache cake for dessert complements of the place! Even better!😂”
“Came here on a quiet weeknight and was amazed by the authentic Italian cuisine. Started off with a wonderful Burrata then I had the Rigatoni Bolgenese with was really good. We also bought a loaf of the Italian Bread to bring home. That bread with some Cabot butter and you are on to something!! Would visit again.”
“Cozy and cute. Food was excellent. Cheese board was delicious. A little dark and cold. My teenager picked this place for dessert fondue. White sangria was delicious.”
“It's a small place but has some room for eating in. The food is quite good and I go there when I want pizza or Italian. It's location is convenient for me and it's close to YNHH. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere for eating here is very casual, not the kind of place for large groups.”
“So I decided to go for the Elotes since I've been thinking about it for a bit it was my first time eating here the Elotes were very tasty perfect combination of cheese mayo and cayenne pepper only thing I can say is I would like to have my corn a bit more charred for flavor it lacked the smokiness of the grilled corn but definitely a go if you want to get Elotes”
“vegan vegan vegan awesome baby with a capital A would love to join the team and be around healthy people”
“The Chicken Tikka Masala is out of this world. The best! The seasonings are perfect and the food is delicious! You must try them!”
“this was my first time having indian food so i decided to get a little bit of everything and let me tell you nothing i had disappointed i loved literally everything i took almost a whole backseat of food home for my family (mainly me lol) and ill definitely be revisiting a couple times a month they are so cheap and delicious would definitely recommend”
“Pretty decent but had a very dive bar vibe (not that I'm complaining) was also a Sunday night so maybe I can't judge it off this. Good food, open late and people seemed okay.”
“Located inside Costa Pizza. Exactly what every city needs. Big vegan menu with lots of options. Open late.
Meatball sub: 7/10 - they should switch to impossible meatballs
Chick parm sub: 8/10”
“At first I was like, “I don’t like seafood boils.” I came here, now I’m hooked, garlic butter spicy, all me. Delish, the best seafood boil compared to others. 😋”
“listen...Monterey got it right! the classic chicken is the truth! you don't have to ride out to the North Haven chicken place anymore, new Haven has its own!”
“Food was well prepared, lots of options for both GF and vegan. Eclectic. They were able to accommodate my garlic-free allergy.”
“We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Food was excellent table was great facing the water. But the best part of our dining experience was our server. Her name Is LeeAnn and she was wonderful! So friendly, professional, caring and a beautiful smile. I would say that she was the BEST server that I have ever encountered and I have been to many different restaurants all over the world. We had a long day and a tough one and this wonderful person turned out day into a positive one. Thank you for your fab food and wonderful staff especially LeeAnn. See you again real soon!!”
“Definitely one of the my favorite Chinese food in New Haven. One of the freshest and very good tasting Tostones, Rice, Egg rolls, General Tsao's, Boneless spare ribs as well as many more. Even though, My mom and other family members don't have the best digestion sometimes when it comes to Chinese food, they never have a problem here, ever after years of being a customer. No problems with the customer service.”
“The food here is phenomenal! I was stunned at how good the Lamb Samosa and Lamb Vindaloo were. This would be a 5 star review but the lunch buffet is extremely small sadly. I tried every item on the buffet with only 3 trips of small plates. Everything was tasty though. I would recommend ordering from the menu instead of the lunch buffet personally.”
“The food is excellent!!! Coming from California I was worried there wouldn’t be any good Mexican food in Connecticut and I’m happy to be proven wrong BY THIS VERY TRUCK. Lovely service as well, the family that runs the truck is wonderful and always friendly. Going there always brightens my day. Their birria and consome is a revelation, the horchata is always yummy, but my fav order is the carne asada tacos!”

“It is too bad these comments about customer service are so offensive. Pizza and other menu items are outstanding. I really hope these comments will not affect their business because this restaurant has been in business for 75 years with only family owners and their entire menu, what ever you decide getting is wonderful. Hopefully the owner will put a stop to this problem. Call him and ask to speak to the owner”

“Love the atmosphere and location on the River. 2nd weekend went for brunch. Still no Lobster Benedict, last week got the breakfast pizza, it was outstanding. Got breakfast sliders today, a little disappointing. Karaoke Wednesdays are fun, they tolerated my awful singing.(Maybe that's why the sliders weren't good lol). Going back next Saturday for one more try.”

Da prez”
“On our way into town, we stopped at the Warwick location as our late night dinner. We’re so glad we did! Super friendly staff with great conversation, family friendly atmosphere and amazing pizza and salad. Our whole family was blown away! Definitely a must next time we’re back in town.”
