“We didn't even know it was a jewish/kosher place when we stopped in, until we saw some of the other customers. We weren't sure it was the place for us but left happy. The 2 of us shared our plates: The burger was very good & much fresher than a lot of other places. The hot & sweet chicken sandwich w/ candied jalapenos was excellent. The french fries could maybe have used a little more salt but that's just my preference; they were nicely crispy on the outside & I really liked the garlic mayo that came w/ them (Husband stuck with the ketchup). The service was prompt & friendly. No complaints about that at all. Restaurant prices are all crazy high nowadays. So I'd have to say their prices were reasonable for high-end sandwiches. It's a nice, homey p[lace. I'd recommend it even if you're not a jew.”

“Everything was delicious I am so glad I found this place again. I came with my family years ago and remembered loving it and saw the name on Instagram somewhere and figured we would give it a try. They have a beautiful outdoor patio I saw but we did sit inside. Espresso martini & old fashioned were great. I had the penne alla vodka and my boyfriend had the tortellini carbonara.. I found myself picking off his plate because it was so yummy. The pasta is hand made, which makes it very soft which I love!! If you’re expecting al dente you won’t find that here (thank god). Both were fantastic. We also had the tiramisu for dessert. We will be recommending this to family & friends. We really enjoyed our dinner thank you!”

I came two nights in a row for my birthday (one night with family and the other night with friends). My waitresses were Mia and Jade. They were sensational!!! Mia was amazing and remembered I ordered the chocolate dipped strawberries for the next evening and made sure to have them prepared and ready to go. Jade went above and beyond for my birthday bringing me beautifully decorated plates. They made my birthday weekend so special!! I miss the Darien location in the sense that it wasn’t this easily accessible haha. They will get tired of seeing my face (especially at happy hour!)”

Our waitress, young black hair glasses, needs to be re-trained. She knew almost nothing about the menu. Couldn't answer our questions about sake, beer or make food recommendations. And for the duration of the meal we watched her meander around even though the staff was busy and there were things she could have been doing to help. Never checked in on us once during our meal. And could barely acknowledge other guests when they walked in the door. She seemed completely lost. The bartender seem to be frustrated and I can understand why but it kinda cast a bad vibe over the whole restaurant. The server who ran all our food was great and if I ever go again id ask to sit in her section. But for this type of restaurant and the prices I hope ownership would take training wait staff more seriously. Honestly would probably be happier just getting grab and go from loop next time.”

“We had a fantastic meal at Caffe Bravo! We ordered the arancini and buratta for appetizers. The arancini reminded me of what you get from an authentic, local Napolitan eatery in Italy. The buratta was creamy and super fresh. For dinner we had freshly made gnocchi , the linguine and vongole, and the grigliata di mare. The gnocchi were like fluffy pillows that were made moments before getting to our table. The homemade linguine was perfectly cooked with plenty of clams. And the seafood was grilled to perfection with a tasty farro rice as a side. And then for dessert we had the homemade tiramisu and chocolate lava cake that put us over the edge. Can’t wait to go back and bring friends so they can experience for themselves. 💯 🇮🇹 #caffebravo #forzanapoli”

The food was hot and tasty, but, at this time, there were 5 loud and a bit rowdy teenagers, the staff walked by them several times, and said nothing, perhaps this was a decent strategy, as, it didn't give them the attention that they were definitely looking for, and it didn't escalate further. Their energy depleted, they left quietly... It was a good reminder of how loud and rowdy we were as kids ;) No real harm and no foul. The staff were very pleasant, but, I could tell, a bit tired. This was after the dinner rush at around 8 p.m., on a Friday.”

The building and its grounds are amazing, the brewery its self is gorgeous. Attention to detail is above par in all aspects. The Brewery room and tap room one of the best i've seen. The upstairs in sophisticated and approachable. The husband and wife owners are wonderful and they way they attend to their guests and bar none. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed and their beer is AWESOME”

If they're hot, I devour one in the car before I even drive off! They go well with coffee or alone. She has other desserts as well. You taste the butter and love in the cookies! He drove over an hour to pick it up and it was well worth the drive! We just picked up a Dacquoise. This one was a request from our daughter. We tried a smaller version that was in the case. It was absolutely delicious! So light and airy and the flavor was divine! We are driving this cake all the way to NC and are 100% certain that our daughter will be thrilled ! We are heading back in the beginning of April for a Marjolaine for our daughter in law. It is well worth the trip!!!”

Das Gericht hätte aus unserer Sicht ohne Weiteres auch in einem Sternerestaurant serviert werden können. Auch der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Ambiente ist modern und angenehm, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohlfühlt. We heard about the bottomless mimosa brunch here at Cast Iron Chef Chop House & Oyster Bar so we pulled up to check it out! Here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on the busy State Street is this gem. There's no private parking, but plenty of comfortable, spacious street parking right out front. Once inside you're immersed in a very fine-dining, elegant, laid-back atmosphere. Lots of woods, intimate-low lighting and upbeat music. I loved the vibes in here. The first room is your bar room where the rail is off to the left, but with plenty of seating to the right. If you continue through the room you enter the main dining room where it's all booths and other tables. Service: Stacey was our server. Things got off to a bit of a rocky start, but they smoothed out throughout the brunch. Food/Drinks: The mimosa was okay... It was REALLY strong because there's orange vodka and orange liqueur in it. It kinda killed the flavor for me because I'd prefer a traditional mimosa with minimal juice, but... no matter. They're bottomless... or supposed to be... Just be mindful of who your server is. Brunch can consist of a prix-fixed menu, which is what we did so we'll be going through that. First up were the Homemade Sausage Gravy and biscuits. These were super smothered and fantastic. Hot, savory, meaty, salty and even had a bit of a subtle sweetness. The biscuit was soft, butter and had crispy edges. Next up were the Cinnamon Rolls. These were HUGE. Lol. Like, how are we supposed to eat AND drink all of this stuff?! The exterior of the roll was crispy and the inside very soft. Not over-the-top sweetness or anything. These were very balanced. Next up were the Bananas Foster Pancakes. But this thing was enormous. It was so thick, like literally an inch thick. Lol. Fresh bananas sliced right on top, it cut like butter, was soft with the perfect crispy edges and these were AMAZING. Punch of sweetness up front, fluffy texture and just a great pancake. For dinner, this restaurant usually serves Cast Iron Popcorn instead of bread, so Stacey let us try it! It was smokey, a little-little sweet with a little bit of salt and maybe a hickory barbecue flavor. I liked it. Lastly, I chose the Steak & Eggs over Salmon & Eggs, but got to try both since my wife was with me. Each comes with gigantic fried potatoes, 3 eggs, a piece of toast, caramelized onions and your protein of choice. My steak was cooked perfectly (medium-rare). The flavors were excellent. It was a little fatty and just was done very well. Value: $64.96 for bottomless mimosas and the prix-fixe menu. Probably the best value brunch in the state. SO MUCH FOOD and strong drinks. I don't know what else you'd want! In conclusion, I really enjoyed myself here and have revisited since my first time! Everything was just as awesome as the first. Check this place out if you're in the area!”

There is al fresco dining but it was too cold. I am sincerely looking forward to returning and trying more options at a more leisurely pace because it's the type of place where you can actually carry on a conversation without the clatter of dishes and the intrusion of others' conversations. It's very warm and cozy and would be good for a romantic dinner. Reminds me of "The Big Night" kind of vibe.”

I also really liked the tendon and tripe in the pho. The tendon was super soft, tender, and pleasantly gelatinous. The beef meatball was another highlight. It had a really strong garlic aroma.”

The french fries could maybe have used a little more salt but that's just my preference; they were nicely crispy on the outside & I really liked the garlic mayo that came w/ them (Husband stuck with the ketchup). The service was prompt & friendly. No complaints about that at all. Restaurant prices are all crazy high nowadays. So I'd have to say their prices were reasonable for high-end sandwiches. You've never tasted such beets, and I don't much like beets. Sauces galore, each one rich with complex flavors. Vincent greets you with a glass of champagne.
