“Service was quick & food was good. My kids wanted a second order of the fries! I thought my daughter’s planko breaded chicken fingers were really good! My husband got one of the chicken and bacon sandwiches. If you like spicy - get the pepper sauce on the side for sure. Blessed to meet the owner and hear his mission with his restaurants which only made me want to support him more!! You walk up to order & eat at the picnic tables outside which was nice for the kids to have laid back dining. Might have to try the gator bites before we go back home!”

“Decided to try another one of NSB’s best and it absolutely did not disappoint! Arrived at around 4:15pm and sat at the bar. My server was friendly and was quick to get me water and bread while I looked over the menu. Decided on the sea scallops & short rib served with truffle mashed potatoes and au jus, which was just fantastic! The three scallops were large, perfectly cooked, tender and delicious, the short rib was also incredibly tender and flavorful and the mashed potatoes were top tier, the truffle was noticeable but not overpowering! Their bread was also incredibly fresh and good, nice crunchy crust with pillowy soft insides and was right out of the oven, so the salted butter they provide melted right into it— Heaven! I decided to snag a piece of the caramel cheesecake to go, which was also a wise move, because it was creamy, sweet, and had a lovely caramel flavor throughout. I will undoubtedly be back here more often, even though I live around 40 minutes away!My only critique (and it’s a pretty minor one) is I would have preferred the short rib to be one large cube instead of several smaller bite sized pieces. The large cube would have been more photogenic, but from a flavor standpoint I suppose it doesn’t matter.”

“My fiancé Dani, and IDined in this evening. She ordered the pimento bacon jam and and chili cheese waffle fries.I ordered the bacon lover, waffle, fries. and strawberry shake. This is by far one of the best. (Juicy, cheesy, 5 napkin, smash burger On a brioche pretzel roll), in Valucia county. And the chili cheese waffle fries were out of this world. I meant the owner Mike,Who seemed to be a very pleasant, approachable, down-to-earth guy that cares about his customers. He's very proud that he does things the right way, with fresh ingredients including Fresh angus beef that's never frozen. It just so happens that his family was there eating at the end of the night as well. You know, it's great quality food.When the owners serve it to their own family. My fiancé and I definitely will be going back soon. Such a great experience.Parking: They have their own parking lot. Ample amount of spaces plus drive through.”

“Place is very busy but the food is well worth it. The queso cheese is the best in the world. Place is amazing for breakfast or lunch. Again very busy on weekends so go on a week day. Avocado toast is wonderful. And all the waffles are so soft and buttery. When the restaurant is full/busy it is very cramped however so if you are disabled or have trouble moving that may be a concern. Amazing food!”

“Best place on New Smyrna Beach & in the Daytona area. 2-3 outdoor tables, 3 indoor tables & 10ish bar seats. If there’s a wait, it moves quickly and there’s plenty of fun shops to explore. Excellent service & food. Drinks are reasonably priced. Portions are generous, everything is made fresh to order and the place runs like a well oiled machine. This was probably my 10th visit here, and it’s always been top notch. Make sure you order the garlic knots, I dream about them when I’m back home!”

“The atmosphere at The Treehouse at Dusk is spectacular! Our group had a great time of cocktails & dinner. However, if you have a shellfish allergy, have Benadryl or your Epi pen ready as there appears to be cross contamination in the kitchen. My friend ordered a non shellfish entree but still got hives & an itchy throat after dinner before leaving the restaurant.”

“We love Izzy’s!! Always fresh and so tasty! You may need to wait, but it’s soooo worth it! We love to call ahead for takeout, so we don’t have to wait! We love so many items here; the steak bowl, crunchy tacos, plantains, fries with queso, the yucca fries and homemade ice cream! ???Vegetarian options: They can make veggie bowls, veggie tacos and veggie quesadillas. I used to love their mushroom taco, but I think they got rid of it. They have a black bean taco now.Kid-friendliness: You order at the counter and take to go. They have a small seating area inside and picnic tables outside. You can even order s’mores for their firepit on the weekend. May want to call ahead for that.”

“My friend and I stopped for lunch yesterday on a whim. So glad we did! It was hard to choose because of the huge menu but we decided on the lunch special of 2 rolls and soup. There were probably a dozen choices for the rolls. I chose the shrimp and cucumber along with the sweet potato roll. They were incredibly delicious, especially (and surprisingly)the sweet potato one! My friend chose the eel and cucumber along with the shrimp tempura. The meals were beautifully presented and the service was great. Can't wait to come back to explore more items on the menu.”

“The quintessential beach bar and grill, right on the beach with gorgeous views of the Atlantic. Get a burger, they are so dang delicious! It's always busy on the weekend. Small parking lot fills fast, but I have an annual beach parking pass, so I use the Flagler access ramp next to the restaurant and find a spot within walking distance. Service is fast and friendly.”

“I came to Island Roasters for my morning coffee and had a nice experience. I ordered an iced peppermint mocha and thought the flavors were great. The peppermint was not overwhelming like other drinks I have had with peppermint. My partner ordered a hot chai latte. He liked his chai latte. The service was nice as well as the atmosphere. I will be back to Island Roasters on my next trip to New Smyrna Beach.”

“Getting seated can be chaotic so you need to be assertive. The hostess immediatley forgot that she told us we would be seated by the next runner. Several parties were seated before us. No apologies. The atmosphere is very cool. Our server was competent and patient. The food was tasty. Lots of comfort food. The musician was very good. I don't know if I will go back. The experience was impersonal but the atmosphere is so unique.”

“Our first time at Flagged Tavern was to see the New Smyrna Mardi Gras. The service was reasonable considering the place was packed. The raw oysters are the best I've ever had. “I have most often, by far, done delivery. But I will review dine in for those who don't live close enough for delivery. Very, very good pizza! Even a non-pizza afficionado enjoyed it. Though not much seating, we were not rushed in the least. I was accompanied by two who had never been there. All questions were answered pleasantly. Thin, crispy crust. High quality ingredients. My brother's pepperoni (he is not a pepperoni fan but did not ask for a substitute on his pizza) was not in the least bit greasy. My gluten free crust was delicious, as usual. I ordered the gyro pizza for something totally different, and learned some people come especially for that. I understand why. It was excellent. I had never tried their wings. Not a fish filet fan but have loved every specialty dish I've tried with fish...3 times...swordfish, trout and I don't remember. I think a wahoo. The Brussel sprouts and asparagus are epic. Key lime parfait on point. Tiramisu when offered, perfect. Creme brulee perfect.Chef comes out and interacts when not preparing the amazing dishes he does. All servers have been phenomenal.”

The dough/crust is to die for. All fresh ingredients. Personally I think it was missing an important element like a balsamic drizzle to tie everything together. “I recently visited Outriggers for drinks (Friday happy hour), as it was my first time there. The ambiance was pleasant and airy, with a boat dock nearby. An entertainer sang and played the guitar, which added to the lively atmosphere of the happy hour. The clientele appeared to be affluent and a cheery bunch. The drinks were of good quality, but seating at the bar could be limited. For dining, reservations are recommended. Although I did not dine there, the menu looked appealing, and I heard positive comments about the wagyu sliders. I intend to return and sample some of the cuisine.”

You just have to be willing to trade the view for lower prices and better service.We did a weeknight at 5 and got right in (or I should say out as we ate on the patio). The Thai Thai shrimp is awesome and is large enough to be a group appetizer. Coconut shrimp was very good and you get a huge portion. Drinks are good and well priced and the beer list is solid.Lots of parking and close enough to the beach to still get the NSB feel. Highly recommended.”

We also ordered a salmon spread (a neighbor recommended it to us)...it was "meh" at best...it was dry salmon with a ton of capers on it it...the chips it was served with were good though. Would have given it 4 stars because of the salmon dip, but the pizza was so great, I had to give them a 5 star!”

A coffee shop, especially a local owned business can’t survive and thrive without WiFi it’s a basic requirement. Additionally they charged me a $1 more than what the price was listed for a 16 oz cold brew. I didn’t say anything because I’m happy to contribute to small businesses, but they should fix this because most people wouldn’t want to be overcharged. This place has great potential but they need to draw business as it was empty. With a few tweaks and some advertising they could survive and thrive.”

We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately by a fun, outgoing bartender - (wish I got his name), he wore a fun hat and had the personality that fits his job. There was also a girl bartender who was just as attentive - they never missed a beat and it was busy. We ordered chips and salsa (probably the best salsa I've had at a restaurant), hot dog and tacos. “First of all: 10% off yelp check-in coupon!! So nice!! Upon entering, we were immediately welcomed by a charming presumably Italian gentleman who showed us to our table. The atmosphere is humble- vinyl table cloths and booths but there is big band music playing quietly for ambience. Beer and California Wine only for adult beverages-which was fine for us. We ordered a carafe of the house Chianti at server Heather's rec- it did not disappoint. I ordered Sicilian grouper and it was delicious- portion size just right- with salad and home made knot rolls-- Hubs had the shells and they were delicious also. We had our fill so I don't know about the dessert menu- we payed it forward with our unfinished carafe and gifted it to a nearby table of adults who were already served wine. We will return. We were looking to spend a bit of time as we had a couple of hours to spend and were treated well throughout our visit.We shared a Fish Po' Boy and a chicken sandwich the Looney Bird or something.The chicken sandwich had a nice light coating and a nice flavor, and the fish was plentiful, well cooked, and had a great flavor.We hung out and ordered Cookies and Milk for dessert, 2 big ooey gooey, warm cookies cooked fresh and served warm, we also enjoyed a couple of cups of coffee with a shot of Jameson's.All in all a great time!”

Their spice on the fish is a little strong, they changed thier condiments no sour cream you can have spicy sour cream. 60 percent of people like it a little milder and sour cream is usually offered to cool down the spiciness. The tomatoes were mushy and that's all that I could have eaten. I took it back and Managment gave me my money back twice now. The manager then tells me my Husband needs to learn how to order right. OK This is what he asked for Fish Tacos meat cooked not slimy no core of lettuce limes and plain sour cream without spices already added and say you don't serve sour cream at all anymore, with fresh lettuce and fresh tomatoes nothing wilted. They can't do any of that so we won't go back. There's no we could try again nothing we are done trying.”

“Family delayed flight from the airport and I knew they would be hungry. Had them decide menu choice from the car, and I picked it up .Everything was still hot when they arrived. One of the best Italian dinners in the area, plenty to eat (and leftovers), and the owner threw in some cheesy garlic bread on the house! Everyone was full! Don't sell this place short!”

“Our first time at Flagged Tavern was to see the New Smyrna Mardi Gras. The service was reasonable considering the place was packed. The raw oysters are the best I've ever had. The rest of the menu also looks very appealing. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended restaurant.Update: April 10th, 2024.We've been back to Flagler Tavern, several times specially to see Sam Bittenbender play. We enjoy having dinner while enjoying a great show by Sam.”

“Service was quick & food was good. My kids wanted a second order of the fries! I thought my daughter’s planko breaded chicken fingers were really good! My husband got one of the chicken and bacon sandwiches. If you like spicy - get the pepper sauce on the side for sure. Blessed to meet the owner and hear his mission with his restaurants which only made me want to support him more!! You walk up to order & eat at the picnic tables outside which was nice for the kids to have laid back dining. Might have to try the gator bites before we go back home!”

“My fiancé Dani, and IDined in this evening. She ordered the pimento bacon jam and and chili cheese waffle fries.I ordered the bacon lover, waffle, fries. and strawberry shake. This is by far one of the best. (Juicy, cheesy, 5 napkin, smash burger On a brioche pretzel roll), in Valucia county. And the chili cheese waffle fries were out of this world. I meant the owner Mike,Who seemed to be a very pleasant, approachable, down-to-earth guy that cares about his customers. He's very proud that he does things the right way, with fresh ingredients including Fresh angus beef that's never frozen. It just so happens that his family was there eating at the end of the night as well. You know, it's great quality food.When the owners serve it to their own family. My fiancé and I definitely will be going back soon. Such a great experience.Parking: They have their own parking lot. Ample amount of spaces plus drive through.”

“If you are shopping nearby, you probably are smelling the smoked meat this place serves! Plenty of different smoked meats to choose from. I ordered the smoked turkey and pulled pork with a side of corn pudding (the best side they have in my opinion). Everything was tasty and they have a selection of bbq sauces available on the tables.”

“Place is very busy but the food is well worth it. The queso cheese is the best in the world. Place is amazing for breakfast or lunch. Again very busy on weekends so go on a week day. Avocado toast is wonderful. And all the waffles are so soft and buttery. When the restaurant is full/busy it is very cramped however so if you are disabled or have trouble moving that may be a concern. Amazing food!”

“The quintessential beach bar and grill, right on the beach with gorgeous views of the Atlantic. Get a burger, they are so dang delicious! It's always busy on the weekend. Small parking lot fills fast, but I have an annual beach parking pass, so I use the Flagler access ramp next to the restaurant and find a spot within walking distance. Service is fast and friendly.”

“Heaven in your backyard! This is a gem of a find! Recently enjoyed the Rueben, Rachel, Burgers, Wings and Meatloaf (as a family) so we had to return for St. Patrick's day. Drinks were whimsical and delicious. As a "Kennedy," we were glad we didn't celebrate anywhere else! Shephard's Pie and Irish Stew were sinfully delicious.
