“My husband, our 1 1/2 year old, and I went to treat ourselves to a nice meal. My husband has a culinary degree so we are very skeptical about where we eat out. We don't like to spend money on anything we can make better at home. This exceeded our expectations. We did NOT have a reservation and arrived a little after 7pm. The host made a face and proceeded to ask the manager Amy if they could get us in. The host came back and said 15 mins. After 15 mins we were seated at a table outside and Amy noticed our little one anxious for food of course, and brought the most delightful corn muffins promptly. That was extremely thoughtful. Eddie came over shortly after and greeted us, we ordered the filet and the special sea bass. Eddie was very attentive and professional, he seemed to always show up at the right time. the filet dish has so many wonderful layers of flavor to it. We left feeling amazing and fulfilled with a great meal and service. Definitely can't wait to come back again!“
“Came here for the first time for a family dinner and have to say it was simply one of the best meals from start to finish. The atmosphere of the restaurant is outdoor Italian patio, we came early evening and I'm happy we did, this restaurant is POPULAR. Our server was on point, everything you want in a server. Starting with fried calamari and escargots in a wine, lemon butter sauce for appteziers. Followed by a warm ceasar salad, every single person loved their entree. Besides a great seafood Italian menu, they had the classics as well. We ended the meal with one of the best cheesecakes I've ever tasted. We were talking about it the next day. I understand why there was a line out the door when we were leaving. A must stop if in Vero.“
“Seems to be a great place ..... for locals. Great location on the water, just doesn't give the feeling of being very clean. Sat at the bar, & every time someone walked behind me my chair moved. Got up to leave and scratched my knee on a wire or nail or something hanging on the bar. Food was ok, onion rings were very greasy. Beer batter fish sandwich was good, but soggy due to slaw and tomato on it.“
“We didn't know you needed reservations when we showed up, Colleen found a little table for us in the corner and it was greatly appreciated. Travis was our server he was so wonderful and kind. He suggested a drink for me and it was yummy. Our food was delicious. We highly recommend this place.“
“We had an early reservation and were greeted and drinks came promptly. Food was really good but took a long time to order. Once we made up our minds it had suddenly become very busy. As others mentioned it appears to be understaffed. Our waiter was professional and exceptional. Once we ordered our food the food came promptly and was very hot and delicious. The only thing was we were asked to leave for the next reservation so no offer of coffee or dessert. Looks like it’s a fairly 2 hour limit, which isn’t much for 4 people having appetizers and main courses with alcohol.Would go again, maybe not in high season???“
“Another Foodie trip and it was undeniably AWESOME!!!! We dined in and our server was amazing. My one regret is we didn’t eat outside on the terrace that overlooked the waterfront. On a cool afternoon the ambiance is most breathtaking. Go get your hands dirty! Seafood at its best!!! ??“
“Arriving in Vero on Friday and having spent some time thinking about Joey and Kimmy's wonderful seafood while on the auto train, I made certain to visit asap, for Saturday lunch. What can I say, they never disappoint. The nicest people, best food and skilled chef. If I could, I'd give them more than 5 stars“
“Small venue. Get there at opening if you don't want to wait. Appetizers we're unique: Sebastian stew (like jumbalaya) and glazed duck wings. We also had a Caesar salad and toasted baguette with butter. We sat at the bar and bartender was very attentive“
“The very best. A Vero beach landmark and family-run staple for decades. Most delicious, fresh seafood with stunning views — the restaurant is practically atop the Atlantic ocean. They are phenomenally accommodating with food allergies too.“
“If it's Italian food you're looking for this is the place to go. My aunt and uncle had their 50th anniversary there. The service the food everything was spectacular. I had the Italian dinner sampler. It had sausage a meatball. Eggplant rollatini. Stuffed shells. And I ate it all lol ?Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Bring the kids to“
“I don't even know where to start...you MUST stop here!!! Our waitress was awesome and the food was to die for. We had a big group so there were a lot of different orders, everything on the table looked and tasted amazing!! For my family members that just moved to the area, I guarantee this will be their favorite restaurant!!“
“This is a little talian gem!! Armondi and the staff are exceptional!! Pizza is fantastic... just like NY!! Very warm and cozy atmosphere!! Our waiter Jack was superior!! We didn't have to ask for anything!! This little Italian gem was a great find and a must for anyone craving great Italian food!“
“Very cute & delicious restaurant in the heart of Vero. Stumbled upon it & SO glad we did! They make all their own sauces & condiments, and the food was excellent. I had the Shrimp Po'boy with Cole slaw & their delicious sweet potato tater tots... my wife had the Shackterranean Mahi dish, which was also phenomenal. Our son had a delicious burger & fries & also clam chowder (which ALSO... YUM!) We will be going back quite often, we found a new go to spot! Ask for Kayla, she was a very personable & knowledgeable waitress. Please give them a try! “
“Overall, we had a great experience at this restaurant, the hosts were very friendly and our server was a great and helpful gentleman. Food was fresh, tasty, and generous ! We only noticed some of the other waitresses not being as attentive to nearby tables as ours, and prices surprised us by being up to Miami and New York heights.“
“First time at the Vero Bonefish. I'm usually at the one on 4th Street in St. Pete. My server Lilly helped me feel right at home with the service I'm used to. The food was great and came in a timely manner. My drink was kept full. I'll definitely be back in the future!“
“Very unique building and restaurant. You really won’t know it’s there unless you look it up or are a local. Maureen was our server. Wow. She was exceptional! Very friendly. A great waitress. Ordered 1/2 pound peel and eat shrimp. Lots of flavor and a good size. Also had the Pittsburgher and added bleu cheese crumbles. Came on toasted bread. So good. If you go, sit ALONG THE WATer. Anywhere else would be a waste.“
“me and my mom love coming here for lunch and dinner, our last server was Colleen, she’s great at making recommendations and is very knowledgeable and consistent with checking up, the food is amazing as always and service all together makes a pleasant experience“
“The food here never fails to be good and the workers here are very kind and quick with their jobs. They make the atmosphere welcoming and just overall nice. I definitely recommend coming here if you ever crave seafood. It'll definitely be worth it.“
“First time here and a thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple of well poured Guinness with fast and friendly service. Thursday has a wing special so jumped right in and they were fresh and delicious. Nice classic dark pub interior and nice to see all the flags hanging from the beautiful game .Will definitely be returning.“
“A bit pricey, but worth every penny. everything was delicious. The service was extraordinary. Our waiter anticipated our every need without being pushy at all. He carefully explained everything on the menu and made it a point to be aware of any allergies or food preferences we might have. One of the great dining experiences of my life. “
