I ordered Hibachi Filet Mignon, my wife ordered Hibachi Filet Mignon and Shrimp, and my daughter ordered Hibachi Steak and Salmon. My daughter and I chose to forego the mixed vegetables that come with the meal so they gave us an extra order of fried rice. We chose to sit at a booth and order from the kitchen rather than near a Hibachi Grill. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. My daughter ordered an Orange Ramune drink. They are only about 7oz, so be aware. The food is delicious! The service is excellent! This location is highly recommended!”

“Went in for dinner .. I'd given up on Olive Garden Restaurant for years now. Primary Reason was that they were never clean. Men's Room always dirty and smell bad. Eating areas were always unkept. However; this location was the complete opposite this time. Now I travel a lot as I'm retired from work. So I've been in and eaten in just about 4 or 5 Olive Garden Restaurants between Miami Florida and Washington D C. This location got it right. They served very well prepared food and hot, not warm. The drinks were well made and the ice tea was great. Our server was da'bomb!!!! Ok so look, pass your secret to the other locations between Florida and Washington D C, and there's nothing to worry about except will your dinning room hold the people.... I will get back to you really soon and very VERY soon....”

“I just moved to Douglasville and have been considering China East for a bit, but wanted to get more accustomed to driving in that area. So, tonight I finally placed an order. It was clean and quiet when I went inside. The kitchen looked very nice, you can see it from the counter. When I was approached about my order, the lady was extremely sweet and my order was ready several minutes before the time indicated.

I wish I had been able to leave a tip, but I didn't have the money at the time. However, I intend to next time!

The food is great. I'm picky about Chinese food, but this was quite nice. I'm not sure why anyone complains about the rice. It's yellow FRIED rice, guys! Have you not heard of yellow fried rice? And it's delicious. I actually prefer it over any other fried rice I've had at other places. The pork and veggies in it were fresh. The rice was perfectly cooked. (Please don't change your recipe!)

I also had the sweet and sour chicken. It was fresh, not tough at all, and wonderful. Sure, they don't put pounds of meat into their batter (at the guys who keep complaining about that) but I thought it was a fair amount of chicken and it went so well with the sweet and sour sauce.

I'm excited to come back for another visit! Thanks, everyone at China East for making my dinner worthwhile tonight! I've already spread the words to my family to also visit.

“Lemon pepper chicken wings were served hot, tangy and deliciously perfect! Onion rings were fried to perfection. Strawberry Hennessy margarita was excellent 👌🏽👍🏽. Went on a Thursday night. Baseball was on the huge tv screens and music was upbeat. This was my first visit, but won't be my last! Bartender was on point! Not many customers, probably due to it being a week day, but I really enjoyed my experience! Will definitely go again and tell my friends. 👍🏽😁”

“*Update* I notice some people saying the food is salty, but yesterday the takeout * was not salty enough*. I hope the owners keep the salt in. For people who don't want salt, Chinese takeout is probably not the best option!
I have been here several times and the food is much better than any other Chinese restaurant (sit down or fast food) in Douglasville. I'm sad to see the bad reviews and I don't know what that's about. I always get vegetables with tofu, and yesterday I also got vegetable fried rice. This was enough food for two big meals for two people (4 meals) so very economical. The vegetables are fresh and crisp, nice sized broccoli florets in fried rice, crisp carrot slices. Not too salty at all, I added soy sauce because I need my salt! I would have given them 5 stars except for black plastic takeout containers which are not super safe, but you find those everywhere.”

“Love the atmosphere of Blue Pheasant Restaurant, but our main reason of returning is to see the beautiful smiling face of Miss Kim! She has the most pleasant demeanor and treats everyone very special! Miss Kim is a wonderful asset to Blue Pheasant Restaurant, also the Chef is quite good. If it was my establishment, I would definitely give Miss Kim a raise, she really deserves it!!”

“I cannot rate the location or customer service. The food was ordered online and delivered on time and still hot. The portion size was enough for 4 people or 4 meals, which makes it a great buy for anyone looking for a good deal. You cannot beat a $10 meal for two or three people or servings.

I’m not sure what some people ordered but there is nothing bland about the food. If anything, the food I ordered was highly seasoned to the point that it had too much white pepper and salt. The lobster Cantonese tasted as if it had too much nutmeg and cloves in what tasted like 5 spices seasoning, and it didn't come with white rice as stated on the menu.

I couldn’t eat the food. I was sorely disappointed with the chicken fried rice. The picture shows eggs and bean sprouts. It contained neither. It did have onions or carrots and peas. But to be fair to the establishment, they are unlike other Chinese restaurants in Northwest Georgia where people are served food as if we’re dogs- soy sauce-colored white rice sold as fried rice with no onions, no eggs, and much less peas and carrots. I’ll chuck it up to the cook having an off day. It happens.

The next time I’ll order over the phone and ask them to go light on the salt and pepper and remind them about the eggs and bean sprouts. All and all, not bad. I couldn’t eat it but it didn’t go to waste. I gave it away.”

“Went in on Thanksgiving morning for a nice breakfast and we found a booth near a window. A minute or two later the server came and took our drinks (Decaf coffee, Sprite, and Coca-Cola) as well as our order (Texas Chicken Melt, two hash browns, and a kids waffle with bacon). The place was well decorated and very clean. When our food came a couple minutes later it looked all freshly made and hot. Overall the atmosphere was fantastic and decorated, the food fresh and hot, and the service was impeccable. All for about $32 for three people.

“My friend, fiancee, and I stopped here to wait out a thunderstorm and just be somewhere warm that wasn't my cramped car. The two staff members working there originally told us that they're only doing to-go orders but they let us stay to just wait things out. A few minutes in they asked if we'd like anything to drink, and a little after that they asked what food we'd like to eat and I'm just very grateful for how they treated me and my companions during a time of anxiety for us. D and Naiyah (if I misspelled your names I'm so sorry) are so kind, my companions and I will never forget the kindness they showed us today.

“IHOP has really stepped it up. Used to not be one of my favorites but we happened to be in the area so we popped in. Even though the parking lot was packed, we only waited a few minutes for our table. The waitress immediately greeted us and served our drinks. It was a busy Saturday morning so it took a little while to get the food but not terribly long. Honestly, this was the best food I had had there. Not sure if they made changes to the way they prepare the eggs but they were really good this time and I normally skip those. We got the diced potatoes instead of the hash browns and they were so good! My son chose a burger and he ate every bite. It was big and he really enjoyed it. My daughter got the steak bites and eggs. The steak was cooked in so much butter that it made a lake on her plate. That was probably our only complaint.”

“The food here is generally pretty good. It is the best steakhouse in town. I ordered their long pour classic margarita and it was weak and which is why I'm giving the food a 4. We had the spinach artichoke dip. I had the half rack of ribs with fries and corn on the cob. My husband had the sirloin with mushrooms, mac and cheese, and broccoli. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is a typical cowboy theme with country music playing but I can ignore that because of the food. Our server was nice and prompt with water refills and checking back without hovering. “Bamboo garden restaurant is a Chinese takeout only. The restaurant is always clean and orderly. Technically they have tables there and you could probably eat in there but it's not set up for table service.
All of the food that I have had from this restaurant is very good take out.
The food is prepared to order and normally takes about 15 minutes. I usually get one of the combos such as chicken with fried rice and I make it extra spicy. They do a great job!
The young woman that is taking the orders is always pleasant and cheerful. From the order desk you can see the kitchen and it's always clean and running like a well-oiled machine. Everybody's doing their job and it's very efficient.
If you haven't tried Bamboo Garden, you should give him a shot. I don't think you'll be disappointed.”

“I go here at least once a month. I order chicken for my kid and I get the veggie plate, religiously! I'm really rooting for you guys and have had the pleasure of meeting one of the co-owners several months back. I always get the cabbage, and lately it has not been up to par. Today, I added extra seasoning myself. I'm a vegetarian, so my options are always limited. All other veggies I've tried has tasted great, even the cabbage....sometimes. Not lately though. Again, I want you to thrive and get plenty of business...overall you're a great facility!”
