You gave us direct eye contact and repeated our order to us clearly check on us and didn’t leave us hanging. Explained the menu to us very well and I guess they ran out of spoons, but he’s so quickly ran next-door to the grocery store to get some spoons for us Which helped out since I have a two year-old. Lakil and Tee, in particular, always goes above and beyond—providing excellent service with a warm and welcoming attitude every time I visit. They take the time to recommend different smoothies and food options, and every suggestion has been spot on and delicious.

I stop by regularly, not only because the smoothies are fresh and tasty, but also because the customer service makes me feel valued. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the experience are consistently excellent. Highly recommend!”

Baseball was on the huge tv screens and music was upbeat. This was my first visit, but won't be my last! Bartender was on point! Not many customers, probably due to it being a week day, but I really enjoyed my experience! Will definitely go again and tell my friends. 👍🏽😁”

“Went in for dinner .. I'd given up on Olive Garden Restaurant for years now. Primary Reason was that they were never clean. Men's Room always dirty and smell bad. Eating areas were always unkept. However; this location was the complete opposite this time. Now I travel a lot as I'm retired from work. So I've been in and eaten in just about 4 or 5 Olive Garden Restaurants between Miami Florida and Washington D C. This location got it right. They served very well prepared food and hot, not warm. The drinks were well made and the ice tea was great. Our server was da'bomb!!!! Ok so look, pass your secret to the other locations between Florida and Washington D C, and there's nothing to worry about except will your dinning room hold the people.... I will get back to you really soon and very VERY soon....”

“I just moved to Douglasville and have been considering China East for a bit, but wanted to get more accustomed to driving in that area. So, tonight I finally placed an order. It was clean and quiet when I went inside. The kitchen looked very nice, you can see it from the counter. When I was approached about my order, the lady was extremely sweet and my order was ready several minutes before the time indicated.

I wish I had been able to leave a tip, but I didn't have the money at the time. However, I intend to next time!

The food is great. I'm picky about Chinese food, but this was quite nice. I'm not sure why anyone complains about the rice. It's yellow FRIED rice, guys! Have you not heard of yellow fried rice? And it's delicious. I actually prefer it over any other fried rice I've had at other places. The pork and veggies in it were fresh. The rice was perfectly cooked. (Please don't change your recipe!)

I also had the sweet and sour chicken. It was fresh, not tough at all, and wonderful. Sure, they don't put pounds of meat into their batter (at the guys who keep complaining about that) but I thought it was a fair amount of chicken and it went so well with the sweet and sour sauce.

I'm excited to come back for another visit! Thanks, everyone at China East for making my dinner worthwhile tonight! I've already spread the words to my family to also visit.

“I believe they’re understaffed, but as someone who’s worked in the food industry I have a lot of patience. The food is amazing! They’re give you big portions and it’s not so greasy like other places I’ve tried. The owner always communicates quickly if they are out of something or if they’re closed. One of my favorite spots!!”

(we were standing outside) drinks took 30 mins (got our first refill at 1hr 45 min mark) waitress didn't put our order in so we waited over 2 hours for food 9 staff only one person working. “Went in on Thanksgiving morning for a nice breakfast and we found a booth near a window. A minute or two later the server came and took our drinks (Decaf coffee, Sprite, and Coca-Cola) as well as our order (Texas Chicken Melt, two hash browns, and a kids waffle with bacon). The place was well decorated and very clean. When our food came a couple minutes later it looked all freshly made and hot. Overall the atmosphere was fantastic and decorated, the food fresh and hot, and the service was impeccable. All for about $32 for three people.

“IHOP has really stepped it up. Used to not be one of my favorites but we happened to be in the area so we popped in. Even though the parking lot was packed, we only waited a few minutes for our table. The waitress immediately greeted us and served our drinks. It was a busy Saturday morning so it took a little while to get the food but not terribly long. Honestly, this was the best food I had had there. Not sure if they made changes to the way they prepare the eggs but they were really good this time and I normally skip those. We got the diced potatoes instead of the hash browns and they were so good! My son chose a burger and he ate every bite. It was big and he really enjoyed it. My daughter got the steak bites and eggs. The steak was cooked in so much butter that it made a lake on her plate. That was probably our only complaint.”

“My friend, fiancee, and I stopped here to wait out a thunderstorm and just be somewhere warm that wasn't my cramped car. The two staff members working there originally told us that they're only doing to-go orders but they let us stay to just wait things out. A few minutes in they asked if we'd like anything to drink, and a little after that they asked what food we'd like to eat and I'm just very grateful for how they treated me and my companions during a time of anxiety for us. D and Naiyah (if I misspelled your names I'm so sorry) are so kind, my companions and I will never forget the kindness they showed us today.

“I found her through Instagram, I had ordered my wedding cake from her a 6 x 7. The wedding cake was beautiful and it was one of my favorite things that I bought! The cake layers were honey cake and the filling was slightly a cream cheese flavor it was amazing! I didn’t see much traditional maximalist cakes and didn’t know how well she knew to pipe but she blew it out of the park! She succeeded well above my expectations and her pricing is very very good! We also ordered macrons she didn’t list the flavor Earl Grey but I asked if she could make it and she did. The macrons were soooo good! We ordered Earl Grey, vanilla, & cheese cake with dulce de leche. Perfect shapes she is very talented. All that I ordered was 90 macrons/ 40 rolled cream tubes / 9x 12 cake with raspberry & my wedding cake.”
