You gave us direct eye contact and repeated our order to us clearly check on us and didn’t leave us hanging. Explained the menu to us very well and I guess they ran out of spoons, but he’s so quickly ran next-door to the grocery store to get some spoons for us Which helped out since I have a two year-old. “After having visited this location on Father's Day, we returned today after church for a meal. I ordered Hibachi Filet Mignon, my wife ordered Hibachi Filet Mignon and Shrimp, and my daughter ordered Hibachi Steak and Salmon. My daughter and I chose to forego the mixed vegetables that come with the meal so they gave us an extra order of fried rice. We chose to sit at a booth and order from the kitchen rather than near a Hibachi Grill. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. My daughter ordered an Orange Ramune drink. They are only about 7oz, so be aware. The food is delicious! The service is excellent! This location is highly recommended!”

“The food here is generally pretty good. It is the best steakhouse in town. I ordered their long pour classic margarita and it was weak and which is why I'm giving the food a 4. We had the spinach artichoke dip. I had the half rack of ribs with fries and corn on the cob. My husband had the sirloin with mushrooms, mac and cheese, and broccoli. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is a typical cowboy theme with country music playing but I can ignore that because of the food. Our server was nice and prompt with water refills and checking back without hovering. I wish I remembered her name because she was great.”

“Imagine driving all the way to Douglasville for beef bacon and the store is closing up a whole hour early. This is after you called to verify the hours of operation due to it being a holiday. Upon entry we were told cash only since they just closed down the register, even though they had 10 minutes left. We normally spend $100+ but we only had $20 in cash. I'm so disappointed. They were my favorite butcher shop and sadly the older gentleman wasn't on site to provide guidance. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere for a good, caring butcher. Today's youth are lazy, not interested being honest and certainly aren't concerned with maintaining their reputation.”

The Turkey Wing was falling off the bone, the dressing was great! The collared greens were good. A little heat but not too hot. Wonderful, comforting food. “Went in for dinner .. I'd given up on Olive Garden Restaurant for years now. Primary Reason was that they were never clean. Men's Room always dirty and smell bad. Eating areas were always unkept. However; this location was the complete opposite this time. Now I travel a lot as I'm retired from work. So I've been in and eaten in just about 4 or 5 Olive Garden Restaurants between Miami Florida and Washington D C. This location got it right. They served very well prepared food and hot, not warm. The drinks were well made and the ice tea was great. Our server was da'bomb!!!! Ok so look, pass your secret to the other locations between Florida and Washington D C, and there's nothing to worry about except will your dinning room hold the people.... “I just moved to Douglasville and have been considering China East for a bit, but wanted to get more accustomed to driving in that area. So, tonight I finally placed an order. It was clean and quiet when I went inside. The kitchen looked very nice, you can see it from the counter. When I was approached about my order, the lady was extremely sweet and my order was ready several minutes before the time indicated.

I wish I had been able to leave a tip, but I didn't have the money at the time. However, I intend to next time!

The food is great. I'm picky about Chinese food, but this was quite nice. I'm not sure why anyone complains about the rice. It's yellow FRIED rice, guys! Have you not heard of yellow fried rice? And it's delicious. I actually prefer it over any other fried rice I've had at other places. The pork and veggies in it were fresh. The rice was perfectly cooked. (Please don't change your recipe!)

I also had the sweet and sour chicken. It was fresh, not tough at all, and wonderful. Sure, they don't put pounds of meat into their batter (at the guys who keep complaining about that) but I thought it was a fair amount of chicken and it went so well with the sweet and sour sauce.

I'm excited to come back for another visit! Thanks, everyone at China East for making my dinner worthwhile tonight! I've already spread the words to my family to also visit.

“I have NEVER had a bad experience at this place. Not with service nor with the food. I always get the teriyaki chicken with extra chicken on top of white rice. The last time I ate here, which was about 1 yr ago, my bf got his with noodles instead of rice and a guy right after us got his with noodles as well, but with the side of steamed veggies mixed in with the noodles. I tried my bf noodles, and it was so good, and I only imagined how it would have been with the veggies stir-fried in with it. So this time, 1 year later, I got the chicken teriyaki, with extra chicken on topped of noodles with the steamed veggies mixed in instead of on the side, and when I tell you that it was SO good, it was SO GOOD!!. The cook had a slight heavy hand on the portions of noodles and veggies which led to me having a generous portion of it, with no complaints what so ever on my end. Lol. Everything was cooked perfectly, and it took me 15 mins to get home , so I can eat it, and it was still piping hot!. “I want to give a BIG shout out to your employee Miracle! On Friday, 6/24/22, I came in to pick up a cake I had ordered for a baby shower and the parking lot was taped off in front of the store due to the asphalt being dug up. Well, I had to park a little away, which I have a hard time walking. When talking to Miracle I mentioned about carrying the cake a little far and she offered for me to pull to the back of the store which was wonderful. But, then she said she would just carry it to my car for me!! I wasn’t expecting her to carry it for me but she definitely went above and beyond and gave wonderful customer service!!”

“Went in on Thanksgiving morning for a nice breakfast and we found a booth near a window. A minute or two later the server came and took our drinks (Decaf coffee, Sprite, and Coca-Cola) as well as our order (Texas Chicken Melt, two hash browns, and a kids waffle with bacon). The place was well decorated and very clean. When our food came a couple minutes later it looked all freshly made and hot. Overall the atmosphere was fantastic and decorated, the food fresh and hot, and the service was impeccable. All for about $32 for three people.

“I go here at least once a month. I order chicken for my kid and I get the veggie plate, religiously! I'm really rooting for you guys and have had the pleasure of meeting one of the co-owners several months back. I always get the cabbage, and lately it has not been up to par. Today, I added extra seasoning myself. I'm a vegetarian, so my options are always limited. All other veggies I've tried has tasted great, even the cabbage....sometimes. Not lately though. Again, I want you to thrive and get plenty of business...overall you're a great facility!”
