“Food Again, bigger group. We all ordered from the lunch menu. I had miso soup, spicy tuna roll and a crunch roll. Tuna could have been spicier. I asked for extra wasabi. Service Good service however a little disjointed. I asked for tea and our group had asked for refills and they were slow to fill. We a group of 5 and there was one other table that was seated halfway through our lunch. We did eventually get our tea and refills. Ambiance We all appreciated the video poker machines placed in a different room. Tables were clean. The room was inviting. We were curious as to why there were notes at the tables "please do not take chopsticks". Who steals reusable chopsticks from a restaurant?“
“I had the fried calamari ! It was amazing! Definitely recommend it! It wasn’t salty and seriously so tender!I had the Godzilla roll, the zombie brains and up in smoke!The Godzilla and zombie brains had such a good crunch to it but the up in smoke!!!? Man as soon as I bite into it, it would melt in my mouth and such a good crunch to it!!!Highly recommend this spot!The staff is super friendly and chatty!Music was definitely putting me in such a good mood ! “We visited this restaurant for my wife's birthday. The atmosphere was ok with attempts to make it look authentic Japanese. There's a small fish pond in the middle of the restaurant and cozy sunken booths to get that seated on the floor vibe. We came for sushi and were not disappointed. It was all fresh and seemed very authentic. Many places make sushi but Daruma's sushi seemed somewhat different... stepped up. The fish pieces on the Nigiri were larger. We tried some different pieces and there were Maki combinations that were fresh and different than the norm. My only complaint about the place was that it was either under construction or was just a bit run down. When you first walk in there were things piled into the corner of the bar area, there was a space heater in the middle of the room we were seated in to warm it up, and the bathroom was very rundown and in need of a makeover... fresh paint and an overall cleanup. The place needed a good dusting. Aside from the cosmetic issues, the food was excellent and well made. For my wife's birthday, they brought her out some green tea cheesecake that was very good. It was a nice end to a nice evening.“

I leaned a little more toward the egg yolk.I was full on the veggies!But the the food kept on coming… after the grilled veggies, you get your fried rice, then your filet mignon, some service shrimp, then the shrimp you ordered, and last the filet mignon. Definitely made me a second and third meal at home with the leftovers. “I went here for the first time with my roommate yesterday. It was absolutely amazing! The decor I actually really enjoyed, I was impressed that all the plants were real and they were gorgeous. My roommate and I got two appetizers, three sushi rolls and two drinks each. The food especially the golden shrimp and the spicy white tuna roll was delicious! The best part was that it is affordable! The costumer service is great! It was just one lady doing it all by herself and she still took really good care of us! “I ordered sashimi (Which I have to say is some of the best sashimi I’ve ever had) to go and the credit card machine was not working correctly. I looked at my bank account and it showed that I had been charged twice so I called right away and they told me if both charges went through to come to the restaurant and they would give me a refund. Both charges ended up going through so I went in. The gentleman that took care of me, Kevin was very nice about the situation. He told Me that he had to call someone for the refund and I would have it within 3 to 5 business days. I did receive my refund and I appreciate how quickly he acted on it. I will definitely be ordering from here again.“

“I ordered a bowl for pickup through their website. I chose crab sticks for my main protein. Extra $1 each to add avocado and crabstick salad. It was delicious and the sushi rice was hot. Bowl was ready at their estimated time. My only complaint is that they forgot 3 of the ingredients that were written on the receipt: pineapple, mango, sweet onion. There was no extra charge for these so I wasn't too upset about it but forgetting 3 items in the bowl is kind of a lot. Next time I'll order there inside the restaurant.“

“This has become our go-to sushi spot, especially for delivery. A couple weeks ago I placed an order and they accidentally gave me the wrong roll, so I called and let them know. The person I talked to (I assume the owner but I didn't catch her name) said she recognized my name from the order and will give me the roll for free next time. I didn't think she would actually remember until a couple nights ago when I was going to order again and called the store just to see if she remembered. Right when I told her my name, she remembered my order and told me she would send it.
