“The best bbq around hands down. Super Smokey flavor and smoked to perfection. My only gripes was you have to order at the counter and they call your name. I stalled the line a bit cause I didn’t know the menu but it’s not that difficult to do either. I’m guessing less staff = lower prices and I didn’t think it was crazy expensive, it’s decent. Second gripe was the paper towels in the center of the table, should be off to the side but no biggey, easy work around. Great place though! I’ll be back.“

“We usually frequent another family-style Korean restaurant in Schaumburg - which we've loved over the years! Wanted to try something new for a change.Ambience is very cozy - booths (instead of an open space) with traditional touches!Food is DELICIOUS - let's get that out of the way!Some observations:* Salad/sides - tasty, free refills, 5 choices* Bulgogi and pork dish - lots of veggies used as fillers. My kids are 'carnivores' and as such don't eat any veggies. They see meat and attack! The amount of meat we get in each plate is very less.* They should have an option without veggies. We ended up buying 4 plates of bulgogi and 2 plates of pork - just for 3 adults and 2 young kids. One of them had miso soup and I had the bibimbap! Price is reasonable but with volume of less meat, it adds up.* They don't have individual miso soup bowls for kids. It's a large bowl with greens already in it. My kids HATE greens.* Wish there was a easy way to call the waiters/waitresses - no call button and with only 1 person speaking in English, you are at the mercy of that person crossing you or the other waiters passing the message! This also impacts how quickly they could bring things. For ex. we asked for the lettuce and miso paste at the beginning but got it towards the end!* Dessert was a nice suprising touch and we all loved it!Will definitely go back there...now that I know their menu and system better.“

“I tried the Fire & Grill yesterday for take out order. I ordered 6-piece wings and fries in both Grilled and fried. I can say they were equally very good. Nice size and done just right. Juicy and good flavor with plenty of tasty fries. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They informed me that the grilled wings only 4 were ready and I could wait a few minutes for the other two but offered to give me a leg and thigh in its place if I did not want to wait. I took them up on the offer and the grilled leg and thigh was also very good. I will be ordering from here again. The only thing I would say is that I did not see a bathroom available for those that want to dine in and wash your hands afterwards.“

“Uncle Bub’s was such a fantastic caterer for our wedding. They helped with setting up all linens, centerpieces, chargers, menus, signs, and any and all decor we needed for the event. They got there right on time, knew exactly what they needed to do and were just so helpful throughout the whole event. They were cleaned up on time and made sure everyone was served and taken care of the whole time. Absolutely no complaints from any of our guests and only great compliments on both the food and service.Not only was their day of service fantastic, but the planning process with them was very smooth. Easy to contact, flexible with tastings and conversations on weekends when we had more availability. “Great spot for in and out service! They offer fast service while still maintaining high quality eats. Burger stand ambiance with top quality food. I've ordered from here many times, and haven't found anything I didn't like. Some of my favorites are Philly cheesesteak and Philly chicken. Both are super yummy! Gyros, burgers, Italian beef, bbq beef, all delicious. Oh, don't forget the fries. I order mine well done and they nail it spot on every time. The pizza puffs RULE! “Attended BBQ 101 presentation at Beach Ave. Juan and Chris, the owners, are very knowledgeable, and they both shared the style in which they prepare and cook for the restaurant. The conversation and interaction with all of us was informative and funny throughout. We were also served to sample the finished foods they were demonstrated. Along with the food, several beers and soft drinks were also available to sample. If you enjoy BBQ and smoking meats and poultry, I would highly recommend attending this event. “Smitty's ale house is at the location of the old stores, the spirits bar not the strip club. They really did not change much from the outside. The new owners updated the bathrooms, looks like they expanded the kitchen and removed the dj booth. All probably good moves, based off of the history. The aaa staff was nice and engaging. The crowd for a bears Sunday was a lot lighter than the places previously iteration . That may be due to the bears sucking this year though. There was also less staff but enough for the limited crowd. For an ale works they had pretty standard beers on tap. Looked like only one rotating tap out of the 10 on the taps. Not a very deep option for beer needs. I do think any bar named Smitty's should have guineas on tap . I had the steak quesadillas. They were solid bar food. Overall thisplace is worth the stop but needs a bit more to stand out.“

“This is the best Greek village salad I’ve ever had. This is my favorite type of salad and usually the only type of salad I will eat. “This has been my go-to shop for broasted chicken. Quaint little hole-in-the-wall place for good quality, fresh food. I have not yet had any negative experiences with their chicken, apart from maybe the occasional soggy bits on the otherwise crispy skin, but that could be attributed to the chicken steaming inside of the box during the car ride home, so it is best eaten as quickly as can be devoured to experience max deliciousness and freshness. I have been ordering take-out from them for several years and hopefully will continue ordering from them for several more years to come.“

“Came for the rave reviews about their dim sum and they didn't disappoint. Food was hot, fresh, tasty, good portions and staff was very attentive. Really have to hand it to the chefs. Although decor is nice, they really should've spent more time or money in hiring quality painters and that includes the restrooms. I would recommend ordering the ribs with sauce on the meat instead of on the side. Food arrived promptly, was warm and tasty as it should be. Parmesan chicken was good however I do enjoy the Parmesan encrusted chicken at Cheesecake factory more. Ribs were fall off the bone and tasty. Sweet potato was more like a delicious dessert than a potato as it was covered with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. What could be bad? “I love their Gyros. I just wanted to say that I think it is insane that they have no menus at their place to take home with you. That is a great way to get continued customers. Also they only stay open until 9 pm. Many people get hungry for fast food later than that. Oh well, I think they lose business by doing those 2 things.“

“We got a 16” pepperoni pizza and breaded zucchini. The total with tax and small tip was $33. Not bad and on par with other area pizza joints. This pizza was pretty good. Enough cheese and each slice had at least 1-2 pieces of pepperoni on it. The sauce was also pretty good. The only thing I didn’t like was the crust. Well it was don’t perfectly, it seems just a little chewy. But no where near enough where I wouldn’t get it again. I would recommend Duncan and Dada’s and would actually get the pizza again. My wife loves the breaded zucchini. The pieces were big, unlike other area places where it’s small pieces and all you get is breading. She said it’s her favorite breaded zucchini.We will definitely be back.Parking: Park in the front of the building I’m for easy access to pick up food. If you want to bowl, park in the back.“

“Gave this place a whirl during my lunch before tuning 4 pianos at Crone Middle School. It exceeded my expectations so much that I came back after tuning those pianos which was 4.5 hours later and the cashier even recognized me which was a nice surprise. Customer service was great and the food was even better. I love that they have a few different sauces to experiment with the tasty food. The sassy, shark sauce and shark white and can’t forget there version of the Carolina sauce. All of it was on point. I had the half chicken and a sausage link with a side of green beans, mashed potatoes and sweet mashed later on with the corn muffin. Everything was kosher and definitely will be back next week as there are more pianos to be tuned at different schools. Highly recommend this place!“

“This is through the parking garage! I want to say that first because we were like why are we in a parking garage. It was not easy to find when you’re not from the area. Having that said it’s super cute and the brisket was spot on. I got the super fatty, which is an option. It was however not super fatty but it was super soft and yummy. We brought our two year old and one year old. They had the cheeseburger and chicken strips and killed them both. My partner had smoked salmon and loved it. He has salmon everywhere so if he says it’s good, it is. My sister had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and also loved that. The area has a brewery, sugar factory, another restaurant, Harley Davidson, and that’s all I saw but it was adorable! Could for sure spent a few hours hopping and trying different appetizers/drinks. Ps. There are string lights decorating the ceiling. It’s a plus for kids“

I'm only keeping it at a 4/5 stars because we waited for almost an hour for our food. The waitress was great and everything about it was great! We loved the Brisket which is moist and has a bit of delicious fat, the pulled pork is not dry but flavorful and turkey slices are just ok -maybe lacking flavor which can be dressed up with a choice of sauce.The two slices of bread could be replaced by the traditional corn bread .The coleslaw was freshly made and yum! We found the mac & cheese to be bland and is a surprise because other patrons complained about this item and feedback didn’t seem to help! The triple chocolate cake is tasty but not moist enough so it crumbles.We paid $34 and was enough for two persons.Very pleasant staff will return on Tuesdays !“

They always have the most tastiest foods and my favorite is the gyro plate because it’s such a good portion that can be made into two meals if you are spreading out your meals. Highly recommend the brisket nachos, and if you go on a Thursday, their Rib Tip platter is fantastic.The service was incredible too. If you go, ask for Steph. “Service polite and quick. Space clean and well organized. Ordered the Papa Q platter, everything was good, especially the pork belly and sausage. Sides were cornbread, sweeter than traditional, mac q roni- tasty, coleslaw- creamy and traditional, and mashed potatoes with gravy-really good. Hush puppies were yummy too. Three sauces on table are all good individually but I mixed them all together, delish!“

“Hands-down my favorite place to eat whenever I am not over 20 mins away I stop by to get a steak sandwich. I literally bought a charcoal grill and that's the only way I grill now is because of this place because that flavor that the charcoal gives nothing else compares. I don't know if any other place that uses a charcoal grill. It's a literally just steak on French bread no sauce no toppings and it's the best thing ever because of how they marinate it and grill it on a charcoal grill. The sauce they have on the table is the best sauce I've ever had I don't know how to make it but I want to know it goes amazing on the fries and I loaded up on the sandwich to the fries and coleslaw and salad are excellent as well. The jumbo fried shrimp are amazing Family owned Greek restaurant doing things the old-school way can't compare this place has been around for over 50 years I believe always a bunch of people I'm sure everything else is delicious too but I've just never not wanted their steak sandwich to try anything else and it's what I recommend for everyone you will not be disappointed. Warning, though you will not enjoy your steak sandwich. Anywhere else after you've tried one of theirs unfortunately, I found that out every other place disappoints after having one of these.“

Not a great first impression and we left to find something else to eat.I was determined to get some barbecue though so we tried again. On the second visit we shared the Judge's Sampler.The chicken had a nice sweet sauce. Pulled pork was nicely cooked with a good bark. She loved the brisket, I liked it okay.The ribs were meaty and had a fantastic bark. I loved them but she wasn't as impressed because of a piece of gristle.
