“We visited this amazing establishment last night and ordered the filet and the Manhattan strip for our entrées with a side of the mushrooms, and it was possibly one of the best steaks we had had. Our server and Jesse was wonderful, and when he wasn’t available home, there was another manager who came and brought items out, so there was no delay in service while he was attending another customer and socialized at the table. We dined outside on the patio underneath the heat lamp and lights. The Barn was the perfect atmosphere for our relaxing evening together. We were very pleased with all that we ordered as well as the service. We would highly recommend the Barn restaurant to others.”

“If someone were to ask me what is Dos Bros like,I would say that it is similar in concept to Chipolte, but better and a little bit cheaper. I live in Nashville where don't have any locations. I am hoping they will open here soon. The locations in Jackson and Shelbyville were clean with pleasant staff and excellent service. Highly recommend. Additionally I recommended Dos Bros to a friend who lives in Shelbyville. She and her son both loved it.”

“Recently had dinner at Paragon on Main street in Evanston. Our last time eating there was probably 15-20 years ago! It was a little later on a summer Saturday evening so the restaurant was a little quieter. We were seated in a comfortable booth and ordered a couple of dishes. Papaya salad (Som Tum) which was outstanding piled high and super fresh. Asked for it medium but it came not very spicy. Offered additional thai chiles which we sprinkled on and that did the trick. Perfect spice level and flavor.
Ordered MooShu pork which came already pancake wrapped (3) which seemed a bit odd....but was flavorful and very generous w/the protein. Also got a curry dish w/thai eggplant, peanuts & potato and our protein was tofu which was very tasty. Generous portion w/rice. Service was efficient and very good value. Would definitely go back to try other dishes.”

“Five stars! Our group had lunch here recently and shared some dishes, served by friendly people. The Vegetable Momo was wonderful, light and fresh. I had Nepali Khasi with a flavorful sauce. Others had Chicken Chowmein, Lamb Vindaloo, and Jhol Momo. All were full of taste and the ingredients were fresh and perfectly prepared. Overall, it was a wonderful meal, greatly appreciated by everyone. We'll return!”

“Amy Morton doesn't know me at all. We live 235 miles away and we are not able to dine at her restaurant anytime soon. Nevertheless, we sent a blind inquiry looking for information on a performer who appeared at Found Kitchen 3 years ago. Our inquiry is never going to make any money for Amy, we know that and she knows that. Altho she could have blown off our request, she had her staff reach out to us the next day with all of the contact info we possibly could need....because she's an awesome business person and a great restaurenteur! Every restaurant comes up short on the quality of an entree from time to time, water glasses might not get refilled as rapidly as a Yelp reviewer might want......it happens. “I remember when there was a Steak 'n Shake in my hometown. No longer. And the last Steak 'n Shake in Chicago has closed. Because the national chain underwent a radical change in its business model, it has closed 200 locations since 2018. Now there are 406 restaurants in the United States. City dwellers who love steakburgers have to travel to one of nine locations in the suburbs. The closest to my home is at 2209 Oakton Street in Evanston, Chicago's closest northern suburb. Open from 10 to midnight daily, it offers what made Steak 'n Shake famous--steakburgers, fries and shakes. My order doesn't change. A double steakburger with cheese, a large portion of beef tallow fries and a chocolate milk shake. The steakburger comes with two steakburger patties topped with American cheese and my choice of toppings, which includes ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, tomato, onion and lettuce. It never ceases to please. Other Steak 'n Shake locations in the Chicago area are in Glenview, Rosemont, Downers Grove, Hoffman Estates, Tinley Park, Elk Grove Village, Gurnee and Glendale Heights.”
