“I love this place! The chicken Marsala is incredible! We also had eggplant roll acting as an appetizer, linguine with clams,gnocchi and manicotti! All great and we all have dinner for tomorrow! Service is great and always like talking to the owner, who makes you feel like you are his personal guests! Only suggestion for improvement is to assign the waitstaff to one area! This happened last time too. The servers are running all over! Be a little kinder to them. They work so hard!“

“I’ve been here many times and have always had good food and good service. The menu changes based on the seasons though a few options are always on the menu. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The duck is very good, but they have excellent fish and vegetarian options. Once, service was slow, and they comped us a pasta they brought to us while we waited for what we had ordered and the dessert we ordered at the end. Which brings me to the other positive of Duck Inn and that’s the service. I’ve never had bad service here. The Duck Inn is a special place and reflects well on the Chicago food scene.“

“My wife and I have never been to a Michelin star restaurant and now that we live in Chicago, we had plenty of options. For our second baby moon we decided to treat ourselves to an experience at El Ideas. The whole experience was amazing! The location is really unassuming and not in some pretentious building or area. It was such a laid back yet exquisite experience. Guests were allowed to wonder the space and take in the food preparation. You could ask questions of the chefs. It was really neat and nothing like I've ever experienced. Since there are a limited number of reservations the entire staff is really attune to guests needs. I have no complaints about any of the dishes. Some of the standout dishes were the shrimp dish which was an ode to the history of Chicago fried shrimp. The Swedish style meatball cooked in smoked beef tallow with gnocchi was so well balanced. The smoked duck bahn mi and smoke duck pho was amazing . The Lamb dish was out of this world! I'm still in awe of the vanilla shake and fries dessert. It was truly a work of art. The vanilla with the crunchy potato bits and potato and leak soup just worked. I could take one of those every day. This experience is definitely worth it! I hope to be back in the future!“

“Alulu is great, they have two floor levels, and an outdoor patio. They have a lot of themed nights like chess night, video game night, etc. They have daily food specials and a solid happy hour. They brew different types of beer and have solid cocktails too! It's also really friendly, everyone who works here is awesome and their patio is dog friendly.“

“Since moving to Cicero in 2020 this has been our spot. Food is always on point, service is super friendly and they have an outdoor patio that we can bring our pup pup.Vegetarian options: There's always something vegan or vegetarian friendly.“

We arrived about 30 min to an hour before the restaurant became full. We were treated the same as those who had prior reservations and we were not rushed.The service/sever was great. Alex was very familiar with the menu, providing excellent descriptions of specials . Alex was attentive, checking to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Alex was also kind and friendly. Flavor/taste was good, but it was just a little too much for us….the mash potatoes (which were tasty) disappeared into the jus. Loved the kale…very tender. Now, for the dessert(s); we are not sure how often the dessert menu changes, but the dessert menu on Saturday, April 12, 2024, presented a hard choice. Saving calories, we opted to share….we chose the Pound Cake filled with warm banana pudding, and drizzled with a rum sauce. This dessert was “De-Lish”, and worth every calorie. The pound cake was moist with a nice texture and the banana pudding was warm and full of flavor. Also, the sauce was so delicious, we tried to get every drop off the plate.?Again, we would recommend Chicago Firehouse!“

The seasoning on every item is to perfection, the meat I can definitely say is fresh. So many options and great prices. Will definitely be back to try other items from the menu. Well let me start off by saying my date did NOT make reservations so we had to wait about 15 minutes before we were seated (on Valentine’s Day) which isn’t bad I guess. The problem was we ate dinner at a table in the lobby and the table was as low as the chairs.We ordered wings and I also ordered a Caesar salad. The wings were not that good and the service was horrible. “Nice local spot with affordable prices ! Small cozy place . So best to get there a little early so you don’t have to wait for a seat . My service was fast and attentive. All the workers are really friendly . I got the Greek French Toast with whip cream . I recommend the Hash Browns . The other dish I shared was the Hobo Skillet . I really enjoyed the cut up potato’s in the dish . Going to come back for lunch next time to try the Sloppy Joe’s . This is a cash only place and they only stay open till 2pm .“

“Ordered a small thin crust from uber eats juss being lazy & not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Pizza sauce is very tasty, wish I had ordered it on the side for dipping my pizza in. Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and it was cooked Just how I like it. I will definitely order from here again. The only thing I didn't like was that my pizza wasn't sealed in any type of way to prevent it from being tampered with while it was being delivered. Maybe perhaps some stickers to prevent the box from being open, or put the pizza in a paper bag then staple it up at the end. Otherwise very good pizza.“

“30-35 & OLDER LOUNGE!! Very lively and fun!!! Remember to call or ask about the certain events for each day of the week (they do have a certain dress code on certain days). GO EARLY!!!! “My co-workers and I stopped by this establishment today for lunch. Walked in to some really nice decor! Very clean also! Lunch time menu doesn't have a lot of options but the choice were definitely good ones! I went with the chicken tips! When I tell you this was the best bbq I've ever tasted! The chicken was seasoned so good! Some places put all the flavor into the sauce and forget to season the meat but not the Woodlawn! I was truly impressed! Cashier was very polite and food came out hot and in a timely fashion! There's also an amazing smoothie shop inside!“

“Had a great brunch at Azul 18! There were lots of outdoor seating options but we opted for indoor. It was nice and bright with good music. We tried the life juice and arnold palmer. The life juice was soooo good I should've gotten a large! The arnold palmer wasn't bad just not what was expected. For food we got the smoked salmon benedict and the 8oz new york strip steak. I loved the smoked salmon benedict! One egg was significantly more runny which unsettled me a little but the flavors overall were great. The steak and eggs were really good as well. The eggs were seasoned perfectly but the steak wasn't cooked to order and was inconsistent. We had two waiters, both very nice. We later learned there was some miscommunication about where the servers were sectioned which is why we had 2. Because of this I give them grace for not checking in on us until after we were done eating. The prices were also decent and our bill was cheaper than expected. We will definitely return and I look forward to trying another benedict!“

“There are so many choices on the menu that you'll definitely find something for you! I got the waffles Benedict, which came with roasted potatoes and pulled pork. The eggs were very runny which I loved, and the chives added a unique touch to the dish. The liege waffles were also unique, not too sweet but a little soggy from the Hollandaise sauce. I also got a coffee, which was a bit watery for my taste. Service was great, and our food came out instantly. The restaurant was also very clean.“

“My first time here and it was a nice time. We didn't get to do a wine tasting but we ended up sitting and sharing a couple bottles which was more than enough. Food was good even if i thought the portions were kind of small. Bringing someone with a wine club membership helped a lot with free bottles and the overall price.“

It's a small joint, with room for a handful of people to eat there. A number of hotdog offerings on the menu. We went traditional Chicago style (minus the sport peppers for me). Soft drinks in cans or bottles available. Reasonably priced.“

“Our experience here was a little disappointing. The dining room and ladies room lacked luster, the pics online does it justice. The waiter was nice and seemed to be knowledgeable about the menu items. I ordered the crab cake appetizer, it was soft and mushy, not what I'm used to. Also ordered the brussels sprouts appetizer, much to my dismay, they were unexpectedly sweet. The tomato garbanzo soup was decent and the Bougie Mac burger was good and the best part of the meal. Maybe we ordered the wrong items from the menu but we're not interested in testing that theory. I had high hopes but ultimately was not impressed.“

“Placed an order for Thanksgiving wanted the chocolate chip cheese cake ended up with plain pancakes for dessert. Called the lady said they were out of cheese cake. The more I questioned her .she then said I could come pick up the chocolate chip cheese cake. I explained I had no transportation and then she said yes again they had the cheese cake but I had to pick it up. So I said thanks no transportation so good bye.“
