“First time at the Pizza Pushers, ordered takeout. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice clean cozy dining area. Ordered a sausage pizza and a Wild Hog. The pizza was delicious and could tell made with fresh, quality ingredients. For a guy that does Friday night date night every week in my opinion I got lots of good food for the price. I think next time I’ll eat there and enjoy a beer with my pizza.“

“Americana Defined. This diner is a treasure. Seating no more than 30 folks the service is extremely friendly and engaging without being smothering. The food is great. Actually, it is flat out brilliant. If you are even within 30 minutes do not miss this opportunity to enjoy the role model for a Midwest Diner.“

“What is wrong with me, I've haven't talked about Sal's? There are many things wrong with me, and that 4000 page book is for another time. The little pizza places are what I always look for. Sal's is a staple. Don't be fooled by it's location and exterior appearance, this workhorse is around the corner of a 7-eleven building. The appearance is small but internally, thanks to the hard workers doing their thing, they produce some great pizza. Their tavern style is classic, thin (but not cracker thin) crust has generous, tangy sauce, and hearty, fresh toppings. I like that the sausage isn't too salty like other places. Don't sleep on their wings, they are meaty and done right. Sal's is 100% pickup or delivery. They have other options for pizza, appetizers, hot sandwiches, pasta, ribs, salad, etc. Dave Portnoy recently put them on an extended map..beyond word of mouth from locals. I never expected him to show up near my neck of the woods, but if he was in search of a "real deal" or "go-to" tavern-style pizza, he made the right decision. Even without One Bite, Sal's was already award-winning. Be sure to use their coupons as they gladly accept them.“

“When I ordered the brunch burger, the person taking the order said that he had created that one. Recognizing the complexity of flavors within that burger, we had him continue to help, as he suggested the perfect side to pair with each burger. The entire meal was superb. We offer sincere compliments. My wife also enjoyed an excellent cocktail called a Mongolian“

“So soooooo good! Talk about pizza... the ingredients are fresh and plentiful, cheese just the right texture and amount, crust crispy and satisfying so much so that you can eat 2 (maybe 3 pieces ) and not feel STUFFED! Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is nostalgically comfortable. Our 11 month grandbaebae was happily acknowledged by all waitstaff though they were busily weaving thru the tables with their pizza pies and libations. They offered to take a picture of our group of 6 afterwards, as we were celebrating our son's birthday. On our return home, realizing an item wrapped in a napkin, was left behind and most likely tossed, I called and the owner (Jerry O.) offered to look thru the waste and by the time I returned to the restaurant, seeing him with a smile on his face, I knew he had found it !! That's going the extra mile... hurray to Uncle Jerry and his crew !!“

“My husband discovered this restaurant has an entirely gluten-free menu and is farm-to-table. The offerings were so good! On our first visit, we began with the charcuterie board and bruschetta, then two of us had a scallop special, and my son had the flat iron steak. All the bread was fresh and excellent--not "for being GF" but just plain good. The dessert choices were interesting and my husband had the lemon poppy seed cake with a lemon sauce. And the wine list was phenomenal! A fun mix of specialty cocktails, too!We have returned multiple times and had consistently good food and service. The menu evolves to incorporate seasonal items.“

“Lived in Chicago all my life but made a move to AZ a couple of years ago. I came back to visit and craved the pizza I grew up on. I was in the area and I just had a hunch this was a pizza joint I wanted to try. I was not disappointed!!! Casual dining great service and three weeks later I’m still dreaming about my cheese and sausage pizza. You guys do it right. AZ needs this pizza. Nothing in this state compares. If you ever want to spread your wings and open up a location in AZ I’ll back you.“

“I went there for the first time and the server was super sweet. I don't remember her name. But she was the best didn't come up to us non stop and was a doll to my toddler. So shout out to whoever was the server around 10am on 4/21 right by the tree. I had the benedict Italiano and it was sooooo good! Seriously that benedict was a 10/10.“

“We visited on Monday for brunch, so no waiting & super fast service, but this probably varies depending on when you visit. But the menu was extraordinary! Great selection of breakfast, brunch, and lunch items. We tried 2 skillets, both plentiful and full of flavor. The pancakes, sometimes an afterthought at restaurants, were especially delicious! Definitely worth many more visits!! Great find!!“

“Great local brewery with their own line and several options from other local breweries. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was awesome (thank you Garrett). We stopped here as part of the McHenry County Brewery Trail Challenge and we'll definitely be back. Also, the cheese curds were really good!“
“I cannot say enough good things about Black and Gray Brewery! I have been a few times and always have had a phenomenal experience between the amazing brews, kindest staff, and immaculate vibes. A few weekends ago, we hosted my brother’s 30th birthday at Black and Gray and it was absolutely perfect. As always, the staff went above and beyond to make the experience amazing for the entire party and the drinks were superb too. If you are thinking of visiting Black and Gray, do it. You will not be disappointed but rather will find your new favorite spot for some great beers. Thank you Black and Gray for always being the best of the best! Cannot wait to come back soon.“

“We played a show at the theater next to this place. Had dinner here. WOW!!!! The service was very good and friendly. But the food!! I had a huge burger with bacon, egg, and hashbrowns. It was huge and incredible. Wife had a chicken wrap, she said was incredible as well. The incredible food combined with the small town friendly atmosphere makes this place well worth the stop. I love how they "branded" the bun.“

“Need to look twice that this restaurant is celebrating 40 years at this location when service and kitchen has not missed a mark in that time. Comments are well deserved about the quality of margaritas but it the kitchen that carries the dinning experience. If there is a need for refresh, it’s a decoration here or there and maybe that just confirms this is the place of the last tasty dining experience and not disappointed on the revisit again. Congratulations el Molino.“

BuddyZ answered the call. They had a banquet room in the back with access to the patio. We had the pizza, salad, chicken fingers, mostaccioli bar. The food was brought out as soon as we arrived. There were tables of varied heights which accomodated our entire family. Carrie, Caitlyn & Kirsty were so friendly, professional and attentive.Thank you all for being there for our family when we needed you.“

“The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the ladies working here are so nice. I ordered the ginger tea and was blown away. Strong and full of flavor. This is the best ginger tea I have ever had. You can tell this is made fresh and not with a tea bag. My husband and I split the fried calamari it was perfectly cooked, chewy but not rubbery at all! My husband ordered the Thai fried rice with shrimp. He loved the flavor he just wish that they took the tails off the shrimp. He said he would definitely order it again. I had the Long Life Soup with extra Vegetables. I am normally not a fan of clear glass noodles but this soup was so delicious and I really enjoyed eating it! This restaurant is very clean, they play instrumental music and put white paper on the tables. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if your in the area.“

“Food was soooo good tried the restraunt in the back today after coworker made the recommendation and was not disappointed! 3 tacos and I was full my boyfriend had 5 and had a hard time finishing. “The food was fantastic! Fresh, healthy, and tasty. They offer a tasting of an item before you order if you're uncertain whether you'll like it. The Moroccan eggplant, carrots, hummus, and falafel were especially great. I'm a huge tabouleh/tabouli fan, but their's was not my favorite; same for the babaganoush as it lacked smokiness. That said, it's a personal flavor and texture preference and I'm sure it's good for others. It's a very small place; a few seats are available in the general common area of this building just outside the restaurant; I think it is primarily a take-away place. I will mention that the flow to the ordering/waiting/ serve/ self serve processes were a bit awkward. I'd mentored to the employee that we'd not been there before, but the person behind the counter expected us to know how they do things and didn't communicate their expectations until after they see you're not doing as they expect, e g., you don't wait for your hot drink but sit outside of the restaurant and they bring it to you, the rice which is on the salad menu and an item that we expected as part of the large sampler is actually not one of the salad options for the samplers but they provide an item that isn't even on the salad list (I had the employeepount out each item provided as they're kinda' mushed together; they bring your food to you but you get your own plasticware, napkins, cup. Don't get me wrong, it's obviously not hard, but if you don't know what's expected, it makes for service awkwardness. Street parking was fairly easy, but if it was busy on the square I expect parking would be difficult. Despite the few oddities, I'd definitely return and highly recommend for vegetarians and vegans.Vegetarian options: The restaurant offers vegetarian and vegan selections.“

“Definitely love Jiang's!! The food is always fresh, cooked well, and has a lot of options! Lots of protein, veggie, sauce, and base options! It's super easy to navigate, too. They do have a menu in case a build your own bowl is not for you, which is nice! They're able to accommodate dietary restrictions for the most part. I have Celiacs Diseas, so Asian food of any kind is difficult to find, but Jiang's is an amazing find! I have never gotten sick from any of the food, and I have never even experienced any side effects of cross contamination. The staff is super nice, everyone is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing. I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough! I drive 45 minutes to eat there. It's so worth it!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“

“This is one of the best places I ever met when I spent some time living in Chicago, I'm Mexican and the taste of the food is pretty loyal to the original taste here in Mexico, the burritos are awesome and the owner make a really really spicy but delicious sauce, made it with "Ghost Chile", great place, nice environment, and wonderful people working there. Greetings to Don Amando and Rica, gracias por todo lo que hicieron por mí, y que ¡Viva México! Un abrazo desde Pueblita La Bella.“

“Eggville is the best place around for breakfast or lunch. There are many creative and well-prepared choices available, all with fresh ingredients and lots of care. “Amazing spot with delicious food and a laid-back, cozy atmosphere. The staff provides just the right amount of attention, and the owner (manager?) was overlooking the dining room, checking for any requests between the waitresses' visits. We were very pleased with the food - delicious brie puffs and hot goat cheese with toasted bread disappeared in a minute, and all our entres were very good - both vegetarian and meat. Everything was fresh, well made, and appealingly presented. Mixed drinks were amazing and very well presented, too. I am not going to suggest o do anything about curb appeal mentioned in other reviews (which is non-existent) and bar area that is a bit creepy, because it looks like it works for them and they have enough customers already. Plus, if they have a better curb appeal, maybe we won't get a table next time, which eould be a bummer - cause we are definitely coming back!“

“Their truck came to Scorched Earth. Was kinda surprise pulling up. And a great surprise. We had both the sausage and pepperoni pizzas. And what goes better with a great micro craft beer than a wood-fired pizza? Pretty much nothing else. We'll be heading to their brick and mortar store soon.“

“The last time I was here was Jun 2016. Hard to remember and compare. Our little group of 5 were there in off hour btwn lunch and dinner so there was no wait and good service was manageable for the staff. The food was above average for a place like this and $$ price point. Portions were perfect for eat half and take half home for typical appetite. “I came here on Monday, February 12th, with my friend for my birthday and we spent a good amount of time in here enjoying our drinks and chatting. It was so nice and comfortable inside and there was a good selection of chocolates, too. Also, there were vegan chocolate options which was good for my friend. I had the matcha latte and it was so good! I wish I would have gotten a larger size, but that means I'll have to make another trip out there to get one! It wasn't very crowed when we were there and it was rather peaceful, too, as we couldn't really hear the people around us talking.
