“Amazing local roastery. The employees are so kind. They are very knowledgeable about food allergies. They make their own syrups for signature lattes. Their handmade chai concentrate is one of my favorites.Dietary restrictions: They have No Label at the Table products available for purchase.Kid-friendliness: There a tons of games to play, books to read and even a little coloring corner for the littler kids.“
“We used Confectioneiress for our dessert table at our wedding this past weekend and our guests absolutely raved about the sweet treats! The order form online was very easy to use and I received a follow up email about my order within 2 business days. They easily accommodated my order that was partially gluten free and everything was absolutely delicious. The chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes were a fan favorite and is my favorite as well! The quality of the desserts were amazing and the gluten free cupcakes tasted just as good! Our dessert table was completely empty by the end of the night. If you are looking for delicious desserts for your wedding or any event, I HIGHLY recommend this bakery!“
“Service: 2/5 The server took awhile to greet us and get our order in. The restaurant worked as a team which I love to see, but I think the team members helped us more than our server did. We ran out of water and she passed by our table many times and did not get us more - we had to ask for more. Note: all coffee and water is self serve. Ambiance: 3/5 I am in LOVE with the aesthetic here. Very cozy. However this building is SMALL and I felt very crammed. If the person behind you scoots their chair back, good luck getting up and through the place without bumping into a few people. While we waited to get sat, there were no booths or chairs we could sit in during the wait. We stood there for 40 minutes. Also, the silverware and plates were cute and fitting! Food: 5/5 The food was delicious and what brought the overall rating up a notch. The cinnamon toast was sweet and sugary. The granola had the perfect crunch and the fruit was so fresh! Chai latte was authentic, but it wasn't strong in flavor. The cost of the food was relatively cheap. $7 for granola, $5 for cinnamon toast. I will come back again! Hoping to see some improvements during my next visit. Today was busy, and that could've affected my experience by a lot. Restaurants all have good days and bad days and room to improve. Just a lot here!“
“Oh My Goodness... which pie(s) to go with? They all look sooooo good and actually they all are soooo good. Since they had a special of 3 slices of pie for $16, I felt the need to narrow it down to three. I chose : Peach & Blueberry... what a delicious combination. First time for me, but I would definitely eat that again. Sweet but not overly sweet. The flaky pie crust calms down the sweetness and it's a perfect match in my mind. Rhubarb... I love the slight tartness and as above, the buttery flaky crust goes perfect with it. Sugar Cream Pie... that is my go to in Indiana, I mean it is the state pie, isn't it? I do judge bakeries by this simple yet delicious pie. This one is awesome. I loved the creamy filling again perfectly matched with the crumbly flaky crust. They do know how to make a perfect crust. It's a buttery flaky mess. But that's what makes it good. If your pie crust doesn't flake every which way and crumble into a thousand pieces when you're trying to spear it with a fork, then it's not worth your time. I'm in love with the pie crust here. Best part: they have real whip cream already whipped for you for sale. I highly recommend it. Three pieces of pie and one container of whipped cream together made for an awesome experience. You could probably stretch the whip cream over 4-5 pieaces of pie, but I like to heap it on.“
“What a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving Meal we purchased from Zionsville Bake Shop. Every single item/side and turkey breast was special!!! Green Bean Casserole FROM SCRATCH (no awful canned cream of mushroom soup here!). Best Sweet Potato Casserole I have ever eaten. Terrific dressing/stuffing...yummy cranberry salad...the 12 dinner rolls were so GOOD...Turkey Breast was perfectly seasoned and prepared. All we had to do was reheat everything on Thanksgiving. And do not forget to order one of their Pumpkin Pies. Extraordinary meal. Thank you Rachel and Emilie and staff for all the details that went into the making of this meal. Plus this shop is so calmingly elegant. A beautiful establishment in an awesome setting of Stonegate. Will be repeating our dining experience again at Christmas. Order early, there IS a cutoff date for ordering.“
“We wanted some dessert in the Indianapolis area. After checking out options near our hotel we found Homemade Ice Cream & Bakery Cafe. We're glad we did. The staff was super friendly and the desserts were amazing. The restaurant was very clean as well.“
“This café is a true gem! The ambiance is beautifully crafted, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every item on the menu reflects high-quality ingredients and exceptional care in preparation. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or settling in for a relaxing break, this place consistently impresses with its top-notch offerings. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great coffee and snacks in a lovely setting!“
“Multiple people have recommended this place to us while we were visiting Indy! Very cute brunch vibes! Cinnamon Roll -- hard to explain but the roll part is kindof bready which is different from the typical texture of cinnamon rolls. It went perfectly with the frosting which tasted amazing! Huevos Rancheros -- thought this was pretty average, it's what's you'd expect. I personally wouldn't get this next time, the flavors was just okay. Breakfast Burrito -- I loved this one!! The inside of the burrito is packed and gooey, every bite makes you feel warm inside. If I came back I would order this again!!“
“Highly recommend. Outstanding quality ingredients. Not only delicious and authentic, but easy on the stomach as they use high quality ingredients. Thank you. My husband and I enjoyed Chicken Parm sandwiches, Canoli, and took home for later: Amaretti, Sfogliatelle, pasta, and tomatoes . We will definitely be back. Thank you for providing superior quality.“
“The BEST donuts! PANA is a staple of my family’s Sunday morning. Filled, glazed, cake, sprinkles, specialty, donut holes, they’re all delicious!Service is always friendly and fast.Atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, but we (like most of the patrons I see here) always take our donuts to go, so it doesn’t really matter to us. A few tables are available if dining in is important.“
“We bought three pies only to later read the ingredients and find lard being used. The wonderful lady we called informed us it was pork lard and that since we couldn’t eat it due to dietary reasons she would refund us the money for the two pies with lard.Customer service was excellent and I’ll be coming back soon to get the Passionfruit Pie. It was hands down one of the most delicious pies I have ever had in my life!“
“I ordered the diy sugar cookies for Christmas and they were amazing. My little sisters were recently diagnosed with celiacs (they are twins with Down syndrome). Since their diagnosis they’ve been pretty picky on what they like. They devoured the cookies! They enjoyed them so much. I highly recommend No label at the table!“
“Finally made it to The Cheesecake Lady’s storefront yesterday (3/30) after rescheduling my drive for a couple weeks. To say that I was excited and satisfied is an understatement! Everything blew my expectations out of the water! I live about an hour away and nowhere near any of the wholesale locations but I may just start making the drive at least once a week to get my fix! The employee working was also so sweet! We chatted for a minute and she was so pleasant and nice! Definitely will recommend a 1000x over again!!!“
“Chris made a delicious Pecan pie for my dad's 80th bday. My dad said it was the best he ever had. I thought Chris outdid himself by using the freshest/best ingredients... maple syrup from Vermont, pecans from Georgia, etc. Come to find out that is 'just the way he runs his business's. He is excellent and I can't wait to order from him again.“
“I like the overall vibe of Lulus. I was greeted with a compliment on my attire and treated like an old friend. Awesome people working there. The coffee is on par with the vibe. Really good vanilla latte. I live 45 minutes away. I’ll pass by several coffee shops on my way to return here. Cool place.“
“This place is all about the baked items. It’s a grab and go bakery, no where to sit inside and no coffee, which is fine, Just an fyi for the reader. I was greeted by a very nice man, who asked what my plans were for the day. Grabbed the blueberry muffin, chocolate almond croissant, and the orange cinnamon roll. This place has done an amazing job with giving you a crunchy outside layer with a soft layered inside on the croissant, really good. I didn’t try my husbands muffin but he said it was good. Cinnamon roll also had some crunch, which is different from most cinnamon rolls I have had, but I really enjoyed the orange flavor, very yummy. There were so many other choices to make, that I will definitely be back very soon. I also thought the place was pretty affordable, which I appreciate because everything seems so expensive these days.“
“We love the convenience of checking the app and seeing if my favorite cookies are available and then ordering through the app and just coming to pick up when it’s convenient. My favorite is the chocolate chip cookies which thankfully they have pretty much every day. So good!“
“Outstanding experience! Food was wonderful and service was OUTSTANDING! Our server Cailin was very knowledgeable and professional! Cailin gave us great suggestions and has an amazing personality. My daughter from Orlando was visiting and enjoyed her first visit to The Cake Bake before they open in Disney Springs later this year. How fortunate we are in Carmel to have this dining experience.“
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend Prufrock coffee company off college and 51st street !! I ordered a chilled lavender & vanilla latte with the raspberry danish - IT WAS SO FRESH AND DELICIOUS !! They use a house made vanilla ; it has the best flavor and is gently sweet without artificial aftertaste. the lavender is fresh ground herb and brought me such a calm feeling. They offered to warm the danish and I was so happy they did - the raspberry was super tasty and complimented the flakey danish croissant perfectly ! To top it off, they have exceptional customer service and made the drink just how I would like it. Even got to chat and get to know them while they got my order together - great ambiance and calm environment. I Will definitely be back !!“
“Recently ordered a few dozen of their silver dollar sandwiches for an open house and I can't thank the staff at Illinois St enough for swooping in quick and getting us ready right on time. The sandwiches are too cute and delicious. Packed nice and neat to present. Easily my go to when I need to feed a small crowd quick!Don't miss the pastry counter, bete noir, and their breakfast/lunches are great grab and go!“
“I needed a very last minute graduation order and Helen Coffee Shop hit a home run for us. The owner was so flexible with designs and timing….but the star was the quality of the sugar cookies and chocolate cupcakes. Seriously some of the best ever! Thank you so much…we’ll definitely be repeat customers!“
“This place is small but it manages to have seating inside and out along with food and fresh baked pastries and bread. I was excited to try the quesa birria and it did not disappoint. I did not get the dip but they were delicious. The meat was flavorful and melt in your mouth tender. I also got some Asada and chorizo tacos. Both were good but the chorizo one was amazing. I haven't tried them yet but I couldn't say no to the tamale's. They look like the traditional Mexican style. I will definitely be back.“
“Es primera vez que ordeno un pastel , y la verdad mis invitados, quedaron encantados con el pastel hasta yo !!! , yo siempre e comprado pan en esta panadería artesanal! , aunque manejé casi 30 minutos.pero prefiero manejar , y comprar calidad , que cantidad , es la mejor panadería ! Y la sigo recomendando ! Y son muy amables !!el personal !!“
“Casey was amazing. She made not only beautiful gluten-free cupcakes but three flavors of soft and delicious regular ones. A home town place with great value and flavor.Thank you for making our event shine!Dietary restrictions: The gluten-free cupcakes were well received.“
“Wow, wow, and wow! We were in town for a short 5 night stay to watch our grandchildren while our son and Dil had taken a birthday trip to Austin, Texas.During their absence, we pulled together a surprise Austin Texas birthday party. Thanks to Jim & Kristy at Vanilla Bean for creating this master piece of a cake! It is exactly as I had imagined and more. The craftsmanship was on point! The customer service was over the top. It was a very pleasant experience with nice people. We highly recommend Jim & Kristy and truly truly appreciate them being there at the right time. Our Dil was soooo surprise, not so much for the party, because the grandkids gave it up as soon as they got home. But... she had no idea what the cake looked like. When she saw the cake she couldn't take her eyes off of it. Taking pictures at every turn. She thought the cake was one of the most amazing cakes she had ever seen!It truly was! Thanks again, Jim & Kristy, for making our special moment completely unforgettable ❤️“
“My first experience of Cinnaholic was nothing less than amazing! The customer service was phenomenal and the Cinnabons were fresh and absolutely delicious! I recommend this location to any one looking for desserts that are both vegan and delicious! I also recommend the very berry Cinnabon and their cookies!Dietary restrictions: VeganKid-friendliness: Great atmosphere and lots of glass to preview the food options.“
“Absolutely fascinating! The assortment and variety are best I've seen. Zillion of spices and spice blends. Produce looked great. Staff very friendly and helpful. I was a bit out of my element but needed a couple international spices. They quickly and kindly helped me find exactly what my recipes called for. More so, it was a joy cruising up and down aisles just looking at their food assortments, beautiful tea sets, and all the other lovely out-of-the-ordinary items. Will certainly return again....and again!“
“Every time I come here to get kolaches it’s wonderful. The employees are all efficient, friendly, and personable. During my visit today, I had a pleasant conversation with Maria, and excellent service. It’s one of many, but I figured I’d finally write a review. In short, highly recommended.“
“So it's hard for me to give a star rating because we came after the post-eclipse rush (and Hilligoss didn't have much left), but I also wanted to share the photos. Given the one donut I had (raspberry filled), it was definitely better than your standard fare - good quality, maybe a little sweet but more personal preference, maybe a little small but overall a solid donut. I had a taste of the oatmeal raisin cookie too - which tasted homemade with the nutty oat flavors and a bits of salt - I could see it not being everyone's favorite but still a good cookie. Definitely didn't expect the place to be so sold out so early (as it seems many reviews are saying), but the eclipse crowd probably definitely contributed to the shortage. Happy for the bakery though :)“
“What a tremendous value eating here for lunch is here as part of Ivy Tech's Culinary Training Program. For $20 per person, you get a 3-course meal of appetizer, entree and dessert. There are several choices for the first two courses and usually one or two items for dessert. Beer is as inexpensive as $2 and glasses of wine for $8 per glass or $15 for a bottle. Students are learning to run a restaurant from all aspects including the hostess station, servers, manager and cooks. Tables are set with white table clothes with nice plates and silverware. It's a very nice venue which decades ago was a Marriott Hotel restaurant. It's on the top penthouse floor with great views of the city from 3 sides. Very enjoyable.“
“I had the gluten free sugar cream pie and it was out of this world! It is so creamy and delicious! The gluten free crust is also so yummy! I will most definitely be ordering it again! I will also probably be finishing the pie in one day. It is that good!“
“My first visit and did not disappoint! The variety of donuts in the afternoon was still pretty good I got the coconut cream pie donut, strawberry frosted glazed donut and the chocolate with white fluff filling. All I can say is I will be back for more. Yummmmmy!!!“
“Their cookies Are the best the atmosphere the building it’s clean it is nice. It smells good everything above. The service I gave it four star because when you stand in line to order something sometimes they don’t come and take your order but overall the places “
“First time here! I’m visiting from Florida although I grew up in Indy! I was coming back from a walk on the Monon Trail and stopped for a coffee and blueberry muffin. Both were excellent. I highly recommend the muffin because it has a cream cheese filling. Yum! I will definitely be back again.“
“I have been searching for this shoppe. I ordered a simply birthday cake last year in August and it was the best cake we have ever had. We try a new bakery every year for birthdays. In a decade, hands down this is the best flavor moist cake just fabulous tastes cake.“
“This is definitely a magical place for afternoon tea! Definitely make a reservation online to ensure that you and your party will have a place to sit and enjoy cake and treats in this tiny, magical oasis. Will you pay a breathtaking amount for a piece of cake ($17) and a cappacino ($8) -- yes. Will you remember feeling like a fairy princess -- definitely! Definitely consider coming if you are celebrating a special occasion -- let them know if there is a birthday so you can get sprinkled with glitter for your birthday wish :) Lio was our waitress today and she was delightful. She was attentive and really elevated the already wonderful experience.“
“Greeted immediately upon entering, even though it was almost closing time. Very quiet shop & laid back. I got the Gluten Free Chocolate Chip cookie Bundt, which although Gluten Free tasted just as moist. Rich enough to share with someone! A nice surprise for someone or special treat for yourself!“
“I ordered a fabulous Carrot Cake and gluten free Mexican Wedding Cakes. I highly recommend both. The owners were former Track and Field Academic/Athletes that I coached at Indianapolis Ben Davis High School 1992-1993. They have persevered through three moves, three grown children and 25 years of marriage. They are African American and Woman owned. I am so deeply proud of them and all of their success.Their bakery goods are second to none, their response time is within the 48 hours they commit to.I highly recommend this bakery every time.Respectfully,Madam Ambassador Dr. NealyUnited Nations Peace Ambassador NGO ECOSOCDr. Angela J. “We stopped by when they were parked outside of Snug, in Irvington, last month. Everything was great but my husband said the Korean corn dog was the best thing he has ever had from a food truck. We live about an hour away but will definitely be back the next time we are in Indy!“
“Lovely cookie shop, great location right there on Monon. Clean, nice, vibrant cookies. So much better than some chain with a fancy app and pink boxes.Cookies were original, beautiful, and big. Soft but not gooey. Sweet with a taste of salt. The frozen treats looked amazing but it was too brisk on my visit. Wonderful people working - packaged my "now" cookie distinct from my "later" cookies which was kind and very welcome.Shared with friends, but we had: sugar, oreo, s'mores, and strawberry chocolate. I've never had a strawberry cookie before, it was a delight. They all were. Again, pretty on the eyes too. Especially the fancy presentation of the s'mores.“
“As always, Baking For Uganda exceeds expectations with their delicious treats! The peanut butter cookies I recently enjoyed were an absolute delight - perfectly baked and wonderfully flavorful. I cannot recommend Baking For Uganda enough and I strongly encourage others to try their sweet treats.“
“My partner and I ate here for breakfast today. It was pretty busy when they opened, but they took orders quickly and got our order out just as fast. There is a patio and indoor seating. Inside is really bright with lots of natural light. My partner had their iced coffee and loved it. We both tried the yeast donuts. They were dense and delicious, perfectly glazed in my opinion. My partner had the bacon breakfast sandwich on brioche and wouldn't shut up about how much she likes it. I had the breakfast burrito with lemon crema. i was blown away how good it was. I almost ran out of crema. I did add some hot sauce when I got home. The portions were perfect. I wasn't hungry when I got done, and I didn't feel like I was forcing myself to finish up a big portion. I wish the opened a little earlier during the week. Gonna have to talk my boss into buying donuts for everyone. They have apple fritters and all kinds of other baked goodies. Can't wait to come back and try more. This place is within biking distance of my house. Nice that they have a bike rack off the Monon. ... can't wait to eat another burrito. May have to go back tomorrow morning.“
“First visit. Not DH's vibe (aka no hamburgers), but I loved it, and he was taking me out, so I win, the end. We had the fondue app, and I had the goat cheese with (perfectly thin) apple slices and pistachios and honey, and it was served with something like apple butter. It was delicious, and now I'm potentially going to have to work the recipe out for home use. There was no cola-type beverage, save for bottled Mexican Coke. Made for an easy choice, and the server brought out a carafe of cool water for us.The servers were lovely, the space was calm...it truly was my idea of a perfect evening out.Oh, except the booths. Boy, were they hard! I'm filing that under "over 50 issues", though. ?Vegetarian options: Note that most have cheese, so not VEGAN, but I saw mostly vegetarian choices.Parking: Not many spaces at restaurant, but it was so calm, we were able to get a space right in front.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp over to the side, with at least one handicapped accessible parking space.“
“A little shop off the main street in Zionsville. On a Saturday afternoon, they had a few flavors available. For example, their chocolate chip pecan, double chocolate, m&m, and snickerdoodle. The chocolate chip pecan was our favorite. A soft cookie and tasted homemade with quality ingredients. Great balance of sweetness. The double chocolate was also good. It had a bit of a fudgy chew. Next time I'd like to try their macadamia cookie. The owner was so nice and highly recommended it. Street parking is available, within walking distance of the other great local shops in the area.“
