The only thing that was bad, they wouldn't take my sons coupon for his birthday. It did say not on .holiday, I realize it was Easter Sunday. Again kudos to Karen B. “This place has the best steak tartare and filet mignon that I’ve ever had. The filet was so tender and juicy… simply the best. My family and I go every Christmas and it’s one of my favorite traditions because this place is so good!Kid-friendliness: My family and I go with everyone above 11 years old. That means that occasionally there may be a temper tantrum with the little ones but the staff always does their best to manage possible pickiness and short tempers.“
“We (Me, wife, and daughter) were there for lunch. My wife and I shared The Pig Flatbread and ordered my daughter fries and chicken tenders. We flatbread was delicious! My daughter normally doesn’t eat anything from a restaurant except fries or bread. We tried the chicken tenders just in case she changed her mind. She tried the chicken along with their housemade ketchup, which she typically rejects sauce, and she loved it. We ordered drinks and they were good too. The chef/owner greeted us at the end which was a nice end to lunch. Our waiter and hostess were great as well. Overall, it was a five star experience!“

“Work brings me to another amazing dining experience with Maggiano’s Little Italy. This place is really nice. Upscale beautiful restaurant with fantastic food. The stuffed mushrooms were the best I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection with a garlic pesto stuffing and butter sauce. The blackened salmon was perfect. The relish they add to the top is spicy and tangy but just enough to complement the salmon. The bed of mashed potatoes were so creamy and rich. The crusted shrimp added another highlight to an amazing dish.“
“We had a fantastic dinner for my birthday! Tiffany was out waitress and did an amazing job! I had the salmon which was delicious and my husband had a steak which was cooked to perfection! We also had the oysters, which were so so good! Would definitely recommend Eddie V's for a great dinner and music.“

We wanted to try it too, and today was the day. They was extremely flexible with our reservation (originally made for 730, they us change it to 6.)The server was great, friendly and professional and made awesome suggestions.The manager came out to let us know that one of the meals was over done, so it was going to be a few more minutes, and offered us free salads or soups.My wife had the lamb, which we both would recommend 100% I had the filet this time which was equally good. I had the Asparagus soup, which reminded me of a richer broccoli and cheese soup. We also had the Ahi Tartare, normally not my thing, but wanted to try something different, it didn't disappoint, if you like Ahi, I'd recommend.“
“First time to Kata Nori Hand Roll Bar. It was spectacular. It was perfect. The food is exceptional. It’s some of the best sushi I’ve had. It’s also got a completely different spin than I am use to. The wasabi was like nothing I have tasted. The quality of the fish was prime. Even the Sake was the best I’ve ever had. The service couldn’t be better and the decor is quite lovely. “Not sure what the theme for this restaurant was, but I had the impossible burger, and I was deeply impressed. I have been a beef eater, all my life. This burger was amazing. Would recommend trying it if you were curious. The staff was amazing, I can't remember the waitress name now, it was one of those 'like this city name but without the last letter's people. She did amazing.“
“I simply love this place! I’m a transient an experiencing difficulty finding fresh fish in North Kansas City. Learning of this place was one of the single best things I’ve experienced locally. Customer service was excellent and the fish was *chef’s kiss*. So if you’re looking for fresh seafood it’s definitely the place to go!“
“This dinner experience was exceptional. Our server, Maxwell, was one of the best servers I have ever had. He was knowledgeable, attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend their oysters, you can order them individually or 1/2 & full dozen. I enjoyed the west coast variety. My steak that I ordered was a 16 oz ribeye with blue cheese potatoes and mushroom pan roast. Everything was cooked to perfection and the meal was extremely satisfying. If you’re in the area and your budget allows, I would suggest you treat yourself and enjoy a dining experience here.Parking: There are 2 parking garages but they are not connected to the restaurant, nonetheless, it is a short walk in a quaint village like setting.“

“We met some friends there who had been there previously and recommended it. The food was pretty good, but because the walls are ceramic tile and the floor is concrete the place is very noisy. There were some children in there that were pretty loud and their voices echoed. So we didn't like that, but the food was good and we enjoyed that along with seeing friends that we hadn't seen in a while. My wife had three different tacos, one of which was the avocado and it was really good. I had the surf and turf burrito with rice and it was one of the better ones I've had in Kansas City. Not sure we'll be back just because the noise. The outside ordering window is unique and if it would've been a little warmer, we would've sat outside and it would've been just fine. I will say that the staff was VERY friendly and VERY helpful.“

“My first time dining here was great! Everyone's food came out HOT, not warm. The drinks could've been a little stronger but that's personal preference. We came in after shopping at Menards and to our surprise everyone we saw were dressed in "comfortable clothes", so we didn't feel like we had to be dressed up. The atmosphere was laid back. Our waitress, Chelsea, was amazing. I would definitely request to sit her section The next time I visit!“

“It’s hard to believe there’s negative reviews, our experience was so good! We just tried Ocean Prime and it was all around excellent! We eat out a LOT but live at the south end of Overland Park so we don’t frequent the Plaza often, but wanted to try something new for our anniversary. Our waiter, Ryan, and his sweet assistant, were very attentive and the food arrived well timed. I ordered the Blackened Snapper and it was incredibly delicious!! My husband ordered the Sea Bass and loved it. We both said we would 100% order those meals again. We also had wedge salads which were served super cold and were yummy. For dessert we were so nicely treated to a towering carrot cake with pineapple sauce which was very tasty! As we were dining, we were trying to think of other places we’ve eaten with equal level of service/food and it reminded of us the Goldrush Steakhouse at Madonna Inn. We will definitely return and thank you for such a great establishment!“

“My boyfriend and I LOVE micheladas, it is our thing. So we set out to find the best ones in town. I had seen people I know post about it so we decided to try it out. and oh my gosh. these are the BEST in town. They are very authentic. You can get them to go which is cool and also they come in a big cup with chamoy on the side. They put the right amount of beer and other ingredients, they just do it right every time. My bf and I always get regular michelada with the dried meat on it and it tastes really good. The workers are always super nice to attend to us and make our drinks very fast. There is always people when we go in just chilling with their friends and it is a chill place to just have a drink. They also serve fruit with tajin and other things that are fruit with lime and tajin/ spicy. for sure recommend for an authentic michelada!“

“This was my first time here. I reserved a birthday brunch for my cousin. They treated her like a queen. Bill was our server and he was excellent! There was a live DJ who rocked the house with old and new school rnb and rap. The ambiance was just right and the place is beautiful. The bathrooms were clean and the food was incredible. “We had our wedding and celebration at The Summit Grill in Lee’s Summit last night. WOW!!! I cannot give this place and their employees enough kudos. Shana, the event coordinator was exceptional and very responsive. The food was so good….everyone raved about how much they loved it. We did an appetizer buffet and chose a veggie tray, spin dip, chicken wings, chicken sliders, cheeseburger sliders and steak street tacos. The two dedicated bartenders we had were the very best! We had the back bar and outdoor area with a fire pit. It was above and beyond what we expected. I give this place the highest recommendation for any event. Also, their happy hour can’t be beat! Thank you Summit Grill for making our wedding celebration phenomenal!“
“I typically like to mix it up and get something I haven't had before or haven't had recently. But I went with Butter Chicken, medium spice level, and garlic naan. I am so glad I did. They were wonderful. The lunch serving size was adequate for two people. An order of garlic naan was 2 full pieces cut in half, making 4 good sized pieces. The spice level was perfect. At many places, it's difficult to tell garlic naan from regular naan. That is not the case at Spice n Rice. Plenty of garlic on these. I decided to eat the entire meal instead of taking half home, as it was so good, but in the future, one plate of food is plenty for two people, especially when purchasing naan in addition.Service was very quick and friendly. On the negative side, the waitress was so attentive that it seemed she was watching me eat. I would suggest that they try to strike a balance between attentive and watching too closely.“

“I’ve been getting the seafood pho to go with extra spice about once or twice a month recently. It has a nice broth and the chili paste on the side adds the perfect heat and flavor. I really like the seafood they include in this dish. They are always timely on pickup and it’s still very hot.Vegetarian options: Veggie broth if wanted“

“This place has some of the best fried fish I have had in awhile, I ordered the hush puppies and onion rings for my two sides with my meal, the hush puppies were mediocre. I was disappointed that the onion rings were the frozen kind, the fish here is so wonderful it deserves handmade beer batter onion rings. I don't believe I will ever order the sides from here BUT I WILL Be Back For the FISH“

“McCormick and Schmick's is more than a restaurant, it's an experience. The majority of our group had fish tacos, which are always delicious. I saw colorful mimosas. Pasta with shrimp. I heard ravings about the clam chowder. If you go you absolutely must have a chocolate bag for dessert. A square shaped hunk of chocolate with strawberries, blueberries, and cream.“

“We came here for a business dinner but the entry to the restaurant was quite interesting. We got seated and place was filling in slowly. We got our drinks n bread and ordered some lovely apps. Baked Escargot and Tuna Tartare for appetizers was a perfect choice. Escargot was buttery and tuna with some Avocado was absolute delicious. Escargot was definitely the highlight of the night. Then we got some salad and French onion soup. My soup was good, nothing extraordinary. For main course, I ordered boneless ribeye with bone marrow butter w/ some spinach n scalloped potatoes. Everything was absolutely perfect, steak was top notch, probably the butter enhanced the flavor. For dessert, ordered the crème brûlée and it was good with perfect amount of sweetness, the berries with cream.What a great meal, don’t forget to try their signature old fashioned with house bourbon.If I am in Des Moines again, will definitely eat here.Parking: Park across the street at 901 and walk across the skywalk.“

The fried chicken and potato salad were also delicious, but what I appreciated most was how kind the owner was even as we chatted after closing time.
