“We had a special Christmas dinner with our son, DIL & grandkids at 2 John’s. We had reservations, but had to wait for a table to open. John, one of the owners came out and apologized and offered us drinks. We’ve eaten there a few times, and once again, the service, food and overall experience was AMAZING! We highly recommend 2 John’s for anyone looking for a great dining experience and fantastic food! Highly recommend!”

We got a stake that just melted in your mouth paired with the garlic mashed potatoes that was not dry at all and very creamy! For dessert we had crème brûlée! Definitely get the Crème brûlée, It hits the spot, not too heavy, crust was just right the custard was perfect! We Got to enjoy Chris as a server who made the best drinks, and was so attentive. He was awesome!”

“My husband took me here for our 41st anniversary. We had a lovely meal, which began with the very nice hostess who seated us. Mark gave us excellent service. I think this is the FIRST time a waiter pulled out a Tide pen when I got some tomato sauce on my blouse. Now that's going above and beyond. LOL. Anyway, the food was great and I loved the decor and atmosphere. We had a lovely evening.”

Last week I accidentally left my Apple Watch on my table and later on, I was able to communicate with the manager, Ms. Debra. The fried rice is always on point and to be honest they don’t have a bad plate here at all. Where else can you go get full for lunch for $5.22 great service and great people run the store. Do not be off out by the outside of the building or you’ll miss out on a great bossier city classic”

And the birria quesadilla was delicious. The only meat I wasn’t a fan of was the Al pastor. Was surprised they didn’t have more customers because the food was great. Don’t let the outside fool you! It’s authentic as it gets. Oh and they even have good horchata! Something that’s impossible to find in bossier.”

“Visited the buffet twice. The $9.99 buffett was ok, you get what you pay for. DJ was serving mashed potatoes, pizza, egg rolls, tilapia, corndog nuggets. The catfish, okra, baked chicken, and made-to-order shrimp/chicken pasta was good. The desserts, cooks, and waitress were great!
The second visit was for the all you can eat crayfish. She got her crayfish for a decent price per pound so it was worth it for her. I don't eat crayfish so the buffet selection was a little underwhelming for the same price, but I was ok as long as my wife enjoyed herself & she got crawfish.”

The service was great. Very friendly staff. The food was even better! We got half & half fried and blackened swamp bites (gator tail) and steaks that were so flavorful and juicy (mine topped with shrimp) and loaded baked potatoes. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!”

Enjoyed a coronarita ($10) and Beef with shrimp fajitas. Expect an up charge for 1.50 on beef items. The fajitas ($18) were also flavorful, but lacked heat. So I ordered a whole roasted jalapeño ($0.60) anndddddd....... you guessed it. Needed more spice. My server was pleasant and made sure that I had everything I needed. All in all an enjoyable experience. $30- Plus tip & will feed me 2 more times.”

Our waitress was really nice and attentive until she decided it was time to leave and someone acting like a boss decided to tell her she still had 8 minutes so she should be working very hard until she had to leave. At that point, she checked on one table and started banging things around at her station and tossing children seats on the floor. She was no longer friendly and did not check another table. All she did was bang stuff at her station. The other server seemed to have an attitude after this as well. Her smile seemed forced. Not a good dining experience when the staff disrespects management in public conversations. The arguments should be in an area away from customers so as NOT to run the dining experience.”

Cappuccino was made correctly and espresso blend was good. I tried the Elvis (peanut butter , bacon and banana on toast)and it hit the spot. My friend ordered a sandwich and it was a good size, she enjoyed as well. Great atmosphere , they had a selection of earrings, mugs and other gift items too. The employees were super friendly too. “Heard good thing . and I want to add my own good, but with warnings. Wife and I ate this Thursday night in a very quiet and uncrowded restaurant. It came as highly recommended , as it should be.. wife and I ordered drinks- me, a large overpriced large house margarita. Waaaay too sweet for me or my wife. Food arrived and looked as good as it tasted. Fresh and tasty everything. With the normal chips and salsa came some seasoned pinwheels of ???. Seemed like crispy, seasoned and salted pork rinds?? One chrispy , well seasoned pinwheel shattered as I was biting. The crispy , crunch exploded into my eyes resulting in a salt in the eye adventure. Washing out salt seasoning in bathroom worked well. Back at table, we resumed our dinner , my wife chuckling at my distraction. Street taco’s appeared, they were delicious. Waitress had dropped of a small plate of a lime and a second sauce for the tacos. Dipping one chip into the new sauce to see If I wanted to use it on my fajita tacos, I taste tested my new taco seasoning. Bad idea! Like I stuck my tongue to a hot branding iron, fire, inferno and loss of bodily functions hit like a flamethrower. unfortunately, water was requested, and my tastebuds cauterized .My meal was over. We will go back, but the pale, orange sauce delivered with the tacos should be avoided. I’m no wimp , but Ghost Pepper- like heat drove our after dinner trek to ice cream at Sonic. I know some guys will see this as a challenge, but if you must, try it at the end of your meal.Note: Watch liquor prices. Too sweet house margarita too sweet, too expensive for too little. Enjoy the food, but with caution for pale orange sauce and sweet, overpriced margaritas.👍🏼”

“No one including food places are perfect (this morning they were out of orange juice) but this McDonald’s consistently makes the best sausage egg and cheese McMuffin. Other locations burn the English muffin, over cook the egg or can’t get the cheese, sausage and egg in the right order (which can be a formula for disaster if you’re eating your breakfast sandwich while driving). Been coming here for over 8 years. Can’t remember ever getting a bad sausage and egg McMuffin”

Last week I accidentally left my Apple Watch on my table and later on, I was able to communicate with the manager, Ms. Debra. She was so nice and helped to keep my watch safe and secure until I could have someone pick it up for me. I really appreciate good people and good service. (Also, I am not sure if she still works here but there is a waitress named Diana and she was such a sweet lady. She was so kind to my friends and I when we came in late one night for my birthday last year.)”

We love it here. No waiting, good service ,consistent food. Prime steaks and fried shrimp are what we order. The new smoked menu is creative. They have some new reasonable prices stuff like a loaded hot link hoagie. I like these sleeper spots so I don't have to stand in line. Corn bread and honey butter.”
