He finished and was ready to get up. My husband took him over to the front and he played with the projector light on the floor, while a waiter would mess with him by poking around the corner, then I finished and we packed up and were getting ready to leave, Then the waitress brought him a light up hat to play with!! I had passed your truck up a time or two as I like to see a menu. Honestly, I was not interested in pulling out my phone to scan for a menu. When I did it was hard to see because of the lighting on my phone vs the sun. I did see the tacos at a reasonable price so I ordered the shrimp. My expectations were not super high for tacos. I just wanted to let you know that you knocked it out of the park. My food was beautiful, the shells has the right crunch, it was perfectly seasoned and the salsa was just right! I wish I had more of that sauce. I did run out and it made me sad. I am looking forward to trying more of your dishes if you are in the area of Slidell /Covington. Keep up the good work and great food! Impressive!”

“We enjoyed the best shrimp poboys and onion rings! The bread they use for the poboys is wonderful! The shrimp were a perfect size, perfectly battered up and perfectly fried. The size of the sandwich was just right as well, and overstuffed the way we like it. The lettuce, tomato, and pickles were fresh and added the perfect touch. As for the thick cut homemade onion rings, those were honestly the best onion rings we have ever had from anywhere. I could make a meal out of their onion rings and I might just do that one day! I must add that we feel the prices are very affordable. Other places in town are charging more for food that isn’t nearly as good.”

“Went for the first time. I ordered the mozz stick app. They came out still hard and cold in the middle. I sent them back and asked her not to remake them, just take the untouched app off the bill. She insisted on remaking them. This time they came back hard (not melty) in the center yet again. I told her it’s probably just not a very good product and wasn’t even trying to blame the kitchen but we were not going to touch them, that’s why I didn’t want two batches wasted from the start. Anyway, we didn’t touch the second order and I still got charged $11 for them. The pizza and beer were excellent. She said she didn’t ring in my second beer or something silly to make up for it but she could’ve just done what was right and not made the second app and voided it for being sent back so probably won’t be back…. Pizza was excellent and beer was cold.”

“This was my first time to go to Sedra, I went yesterday for a special meeting with a girls' group. We all had great service; the owner and her daughter Mia are onsite and there to serve you. The wait staff was personable and accommodating. I am on Weight Watchers and try to stay within point limits when I go out. The Acadian Catfish comes fried and had a sauce with rice and veggies on the side, they grilled the fish for me, and instead of rice I had a double helping of steamed broccoli. The fish was cooked perfectly and also had the right amount of seasoning. I would definitely go back. They are open for breakfast and lunch til 3:00 pm. My husband and I will go back and try breakfast.”

There’s an extensive menu that includes other types of pastries, breakfast, and drinks. I haven’t tried anything else because The DONUTS😋😋😋”

The business was open, and the owner was inside and had “instinctively” re-locked the door behind him. Once inside, it was a welcoming atmosphere and smells of Jamaica. I picked up various spices, salt dis, bread, sour sop, soaps, etc. The aromas from the back peaked my curiosity, so I ordered curried goat and oxtails to go. OMG! I tasted both when I got in my vehicle, but immediately decided that I wanted to get completely comfortable to enjoy these dishes. If you’re searching for authentic Jamaican cuisine, spices, teas, etc, do yourself a favor and visit this one-stop location. You won’t be disappointed.”

Exposed kitchen to see the inner workings was cool. Fast service and got our food very quickly. We got the Margherita, Nucci and cheese sticks. All fantastic and love the thin, crunchy crust. Would def recommend if you want a pizza on the lighter bread side of things.”

The food was so delicious and plentiful. Lemon chicken could have served 4 people. Pork fried rice the best I've had. All served in the stainless steel covered servers that keep the food so much hotter than platters. The poor little waitress was working alone as her co-worker was I'll. She kept up with non-stop phone calls, waiting on tables and checking back with us several times. Restaurant also appeared very clean.”

We mentioned it to the manager and she stated oh no we don’t have that anymore. We haven’t had Waffle Cone Wednesday in quite awhile. Oh, ok!! I bought my $7 cone, ate it and enjoyed it. My friend and I sat outside for a while. The manger left and a mom and her 4 daughters went in and all walked out with their over stuffed cones! I casually said to the mom, gosh that must have cost a fortunate since it’s no longer waffle cone Wednesday. She said why no it is waffle cone Wednesday, it’s the only reason I can afford it. Ha!!! Oh really? I walked in asked the two young girls and of course they said it was waffle cone Wednesday!! All I can say is WOW!!! #SoRude”

“Amazing Chicago style deep dish pizza. We drove 1.5 hrs round trip just to try this place and can't wait to go back. Our host was great and full of smiles and great recommendations, she suggested the Big Apple and that's what we went with...amazing. We also had the parmesan garlic bites also fantastic. The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming with indoor and outdoor seating. 😊 Also, it is family owned and ran. Always great seeing families doing great things together.”

The seafood is fresh, cooked and seasoned perfectly, portions huge, and prices that can’t be beat. This is old school fish, shrimp, oysters, crab, etc., done right! We drive out of our way on our travels between Florida and Dallas just to eat at Kenney Seafood. You will love this place!”
