“I visit this location often, and I love it when I walk in the manager (I don't know her name but she work the day shift) acknowledges me and knows exactly what I want without me saying one word. If someone else is working the register she explains my order to them. She knows exactly how I love my chicken wings half bbq sauce and buffalo sauce.“

“We arrived on a Thursday night about an hour before close and didn’t have to wait for a table, even though the staff were clearly handling a bustling front of house. Our server was helpful in selecting wine and we absolutely LOVED the roasted carrots and cornmeal brioche with caramelized onion butter. I’m drooling just thinking about these small plates.Oh yea, the pizza was some of the best wood fired pies I’ve had in awhile, both in restaurant and as late night leftovers the next night.Although the food and vibes seemed upscale, the casual attire and kindness of the staff made it feel warm and welcoming.“

“We came for dinner as a family of four adults. We were seated outdoors which was really beautiful. Our waiter, Hunter was fantastic offering suggestions and great tips for first time visitors to NOLA. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Would recommend.Vegetarian of our party were vegetarian. Our waiter suggested a vegetable plate which was really nice! We also had the ravioli which were good but not great.“

“Incredible food. Most dishes are appropriately small so it encourages sharing and a family-style approach. Pizzas are really something else and the pastas are to die for. Really great choices in wines, and although the price tags arent low, it is worth it.“

“Visited Mandina’s as part of a birthday celebration for my nephew. My wife and I split a muffuletta and fries as we had had a larger lunch. The Muffuletta was good as were the fries. Everyone else in our party had one of Mandina’s variations on spaghetti and all enjoyed their meal. Appetizers of fried onion rings and crawfish cakes were quite tasty. Service was good. A little pricy, but again, the restaurant is in the Mid City ward of New Orleans. Worth checking out!“

“I need more stars for this one! Everything was great! I have an unusual food allergy. I don't make a big deal of it but ask the staff to let me know if I order anything with this item and I'll change my order. Our server came back with a menu that the chef had taken a minute to mark the 3 items I needed to avoid an 2 items that could be prepared without! ABOVE and BEYOND!“

“Pizza Delicious truly lived up to its name, it was a yummy! We had a fantastic time seated outside, where the ambiance was just perfect. My son was particularly enchanted by a rooster that roams around, whom I believe is named Hanes. As for the pizza, it was delicious! We'll definitely be back!“

“We found this place on the internet, wnating some NOLA-style sausage and wanting to escape the culinary tedium that often accomanies a jaunt in the Quarter. We delighted with our find! The owners, the friendly Vaucresson family, shared stories of their three generation production and serving of sausages, such as crawfish (it's great!), green onion, chicken, and, my favorite, spicy creole. By the way, the boudin balls and onion rings were darned good too. The new deli and sausage factory is obviously new, so the place is sparkling clean and bright. Yes, we took two pounds of plister pack sausages home to Atlanta, to remember our fun discovery.Parking: Free.“

“Step back in time to the classic crooners era. Exceptional customer service. 1pm on Thursday, driving down St. Charles passing the time until I needed to be some place, passed this little gem and decided to pop in. I was immediately greeted and sat by Mr. Otis. Promptly bringing water. Mr. Georgio informed me of the availability of fresh softshells, and took my order. Sitting by the window watching the beautiful streetcars going up and down St. Charles. There was a few people in the restaurant but it was a whole vibe. Meal was fantastic. I watch a sweet older couple ask Mr. Georgio about the street car, he walked the couple across the street and give instructions on what to do. Absolutely suggest taking the time to visit. Two guests, appetizer, 2 lunch specials, water and tea bill was in the mid $60s without tip.“

“Went here for dinner with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. Was very surprised in the atmosphere and the entire experience was awesome. Definitely will dine here again!! Great place awesome food and service!! Highly recommend to anyone for any type of dinner wether casual or more.“

“My wife I are New Orleanians. We know good food. The food in this restaurant is exceptionally delicious. The prices are reasonable too and we were greeted and treated with respect and kindness. We rarely eat out anymore because of health reasons so it was a nice outing. Thanks to all who contributed to our dining experience.“

“Serving as one of the only known Halal pizza joints I know of in the area, this spot serves a meat lovers with a beef pepperoni, beef sausage, and more! Super fire pizza and worth the drive from BR each time. Place not much to look at being off Bourbon but the staff is super friendly. If you are looking to do a quick grab and go I would order ahead so it's ready by the time you get there.“

“Amazing food. Had their cannolli and it was freshly made and tested heavenly. Wait time for getting the food was a little long (20 minutes after ordering), but that's the only thing we can complain about really. They do have some vegetarian options.“

“I loved this place - good pasta, with a "choose your own adventure" style customization for pasta types, sauces, and add-ons, and a bunch of tasty specials. The fusili pasta and arugula salad were great, the funk/soul music playing and informal ambience was relaxing and super friendly staff. Five stars, can't wait to be back next time I'm in NOLA!!“

“Today with my daughter for the first time I visited this restaurant in my neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the products that are produced in this restaurant by the owner himself and many other workers to prepare to go orders. The quality of the food is Supreme, and the prices are extremely affordable, I could even say cheap.“

“We read that Avo was the best Italian restaurant in New Orleans. That was the reason we chose Avo. We were not disappointed. Calamari was delicious, short rib Marsala was fork tender & the sauce was amazing. Shell pasta with pork/beef bolognese was like mama’s. I would definitely recommend Avo if anyone were to ask for where to go for Italian. Our server was also friendly & charming, so appreciative of our comments.“

“they have great food, the best roast beef po boy I've ever had. I also really like the chicken parmesan and the veal parmesan. the plates come with salad vegetable and bread very large portions. it is definitely worth the drive if you do not live in the neighborhood. they also have a nice selection of beers in the cooler“

“BRICK OVEN PIZZA! I know it says wood fired, but when I searched for “brick oven pizza” in NO, nothing popped up. Absolutely AMAZING seafood pizza. Cannot recommend enough. Would have bought another but had no viable way of getting it back to Dallas. As you can see I ate 1/2 of it before realizing I should take a pic to post. Our waitress Stacy? was very accommodating (as well the chef) as my wife has crazy food allergies and she was able to eat all of her without breaking out. Definitely returning next time I’m in NOLA.“

“I just stopped by and got the meatball and the chicken alfredo dinners to take out. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed both dishes. Meatballs were especially delicious, and the wife said the same about her blackened chicken. We will be back soon to try a few other menu items.“

“Me and my husband went there it was amazing we had the steak sandwich and a cheese pizza. The owner was very sweet we informed her about additional options for people who are pork free. Suggested turkey bacon and turkey sausage as an alternative informed her where to purchase. Will return when back in town ?☝️“

“Very busy, put our name on the list, took about half an hour for two of us to get a table, when the food came out you realised why it was so busy fantastic food, great service, and a reasonable price. I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone visiting the French quarter of New Orleans.“

“The food and the staff here are excellent. I've decided I will make my way through this entire menu. So here I've had the meatloaf special, the veal, the chicken Parmesan, chicken dinner, the softshell crab and the club sandwich. This is a real neighborhood staple where you can get real authentic home style meals. When I visit this restaurant it almost feels like visiting family. The staff is welcoming and the food hits the soul. I highly recommend it.“

“The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Our server was very pleasant and stayed on top of our needs. Highly recommend.If there is a downside,, the seating is tight. This was our group's first visit but certainly not our last.Parking: There isn't enough off street or on street parking available. Small lot fills quickly and you must park in other business's lots.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap entrance, but very tight seating.“

“We were fortunate to get a recommendation to this hidden gem on Frenchman from a local artist. There is literally about ten tables, and they don't take reservations, so I it's recommended to get there when they open. For an appetizer, we ordered the mussels. They were delicious! For entrees, we had the steak special with Ocean Sauce (creole based) and the Veal Ocean (veal, crabmeat, crawfish, and capers) in a croele sauce ---literally couldn't stop eating it! Did not order dessert, but observing from other nearby tables, it looked outstanding! It was one of the top meals we had while visiting! Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I have gone to Furys for years. One of our favorites. Burger is one of the best servers. He is polite and always has a smile. The food is excellent. All the staff are tops. Squally in the kitchen is the best. Highly recommend trying them.“
“Wonderful pasta dishes. And very cool concept of "build your own". We'll be back to get sauce as take out. What we actually had was the "lasagna". Not really lasagna but wide papardelle with sauce, sausage, and cheese. Yummy. And the lemon shrimp linguini, not strongly flavored but good. The only strange thing was the staff vibe; competent and professional, but cool to the point of cold. It's NOLA, people smile here yall:-)“

“Classic old New Orleans restaurant known for their BBQed shrimp. The cocktails were generous. The wine selection was not extensive but well priced. (It wasn't hard to find a nice bottle. The Sancere was very nice.) The shrimp were delicious. I had a redfish filet covered with bbqed shrimp that was on point. The bread pudding and Tiaramisu were excellent. This is a traditional old New Orleans restaurant that is well worth a visit!“

“I was born on Jefferson Highway and after eating the amazing food here I can happily die of a food coma on Jefferson Highway. Portions were very surprising in their generosity. The service was perfect. We didn’t have a single server, it was awesome teamwork. The interactions and conversations were relaxed and welcoming. We are already planning to return.“

“Food is ok. I had the seafood manicotti, it was swimming in sauce and had a hard time finding the “seafood” but it was tasty. The dessert i had i cannot remember the name but had strawberry, chocolate, and pistachio ice cream with cookie crust, not good. The ice cream looked and tasted more like a sorbet, ok flavor. My husband had the beet salad which he liked.“

“I have passed this restaurant a few times and always wanted to try it. Last night I finally did. I was fist very impressed with the staff, everyone was so friendly and attentive(rare these days). I am Italian, so it is hard to find a place that is better than grandma’s home cooking, as well as my own. I must say, we ordered the Italian salad, chicken and Alfredo, the chicken parm and the filet. Hats OFF to the Chef!!!! Not to mention, the amount of food for the price was amazing, no room for dessert and lots of leftovers. Will visit again and bring the family.“

“This place was GREAT! It's different than what I have ever experienced. Sicilian and Creole? Alright. Pleasantly surprising lunch spot. You have to stand in line to order and pay, then they bring you the food. Don't let this deter you. They give you HUGE portions. Try the mac and cheese with red gravy (a lovely marinara) - it's brilliant! The gumbo was PACKED with shrimp, have never seen anything like it gumbo-wise. Ate leftovers from lunch twice! YUM!“

“We wandered here to find a bite to eat as my colleagues and I are in the area for a sustainability conference. We tried to get into a sports bar but it was packed. Luckily I walked by here and saw it on my way to the hotel where the conference will be. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, it was really delicious, it came with 6 pieces of perfectly toasted bread that wasn't too heavy. My colleagues got side ceasars, looked really good. Nice portions. We ordered a large classic pizza, with a pesto tortellini to share, it was all really well done. Delicious, hot, and we never needed anything because our server was on top of it. We had someone else helping run food as well, Both were excellent. I have a sneaking suspicion we may be back because all of the food at this conference is vegan. Sorry I took no photos, but when the food came out it was so damn good. Support small businesses!“

“The new location on barataria is beautiful! The food is delicious as always and the staff is always friendly and smiling. I love everything on the menu, but some of my favorites are, of course, the Mew Orleans Muffaletta, Shrimp Poboy, roast beef on muffaletta bread, eggplant sticks, and the fried mushrooms. You can't go wrong with anything!“

“This was my first time at Mr Ed's in Bucktown. Fortunately we arrived before the dinner crowd and were able to get a table right away. By the time we left the place was getting packed. Our waitress was a little distracted, even before the crowds came so don't know what that was about but we all have a bad day.I ordered the stuffed bell peppers and although they weren't huge in size... man were they stuffed to the gills with tasty seafood. These were not stuffed peppers mostly with breading.Definitely plan on stopping again next time I'm in New Orleans to try their chicken liver dinners, one of my favorites and very hard to find.“

“Came here for the garlic knots (which are buttery little knots of pure heaven), and ended up ordering a Detroit style pizza with BBQ shrimp. I'm from Chicago and have never seen/heard of a shrimp pizza before, but it was absolutely delicious! The shrimp was tender, the savory sauce complimented the shrimp perfectly, and all on top of a pillowy buttery crust.“

“This place is an amazing pizza joint! When I saw that they make a pizza based on one of my favorite sandwiches, the muffuletta, I had to order one immediately! With pepperoni, salami, Canadian bacon, and olive salad, they perfectly captured the flavors of that savory Louisiana sandwich. I was so impressed. The delicious pizza dough stood up well to the array of toppings. There was no sogginess or limpness to the dough at all. The dough had the perfect chew.“

“We made reservations in advance for a group of 20 and prearranged a set family meal. The restaurant handled the group magnificently. There were printed menus of our preordered family meal on the table at each spot to let everyone know what was coming. Our server was great and he kept the table clean and turned plates and silverware over with each course. We really appreciate the restaurant taking us and for making a special evening for our group. We had kids, vegetarians and picky eaters in the group and we were able to choose items that worked for everyone! “We really enjoyed our experience here. The staff was very friendly and everyone made us feel welcome. Our food was delicious! I had the lasagna and my wife had the bolognese. We also had the bruschetta for an appetizer and split the lemon mascarpone cheesecake for dessert. I would definitely recommend. Despite this being a special occasion I would definitely return just for regular dining.“

“First time at the new location and it was great. There were 6 of us and the orders were taken quickly, the food came out quickly, and the service was on point. We had a fried shrimp platter, 2 shrimp poboys, a roast beef poboy, a hot sausage poboy, lasagna and an order of onion rings. All were spectacular! I usually go to the one in Terrytown but would definitely go to this one again.“
