“After searching for good grilled chicken in the US for almost 20 years, I can say that I was finally able to find the only chicken shop that has been able to match the best grilled chicken in Peru. The flavor and texture of the grilled chicken at Sardis Chicken in Oxon Hill in Maryland is AMAZING!The fries are very good, the yucas are PERFECTLY cooked and fiber-free!!And the sauces?... There is NOTHING comparable in the Metro area. Absolutely the best (they should sell them in supermarkets). It would be a success! We were able to try the other Peruvian food dishes but "nothing happens."Anyway, thank you for the courtesy, Mrs. Blanca. And congratulations to Chef Manager Carlos for the quality of the grilled chicken. The best of Peru is already here!!“
“Best Pizza EVER! I DONT GET TO VISIT THEM OFTEN BUT IT HANDS DOWN THE BEST!! Can't figure out if it's the real stringy cheese or the sauce...a gem of Oxon Hill. Oh and the 1 star for atmosphere is because it's take out..not because it's bad.“
“We were touring with a large group. Lots of us stopped in potbelly. Although there was only 3 people behind the counter they were all kind, patient and friendly. They handled our huge crowd very well! Much appreciated- from one stressed group chaperone ?“
“I got the shredded barbecue chicken sandwich with a side of a salad ? and some macaroni and cheese. It was so good and delicious ? ? Our server Jasmine was very nice and she had a good personality and energy for 8 people. Also, she was so patient with us.“
“Customer service here is incredible! Major prior to the manager on duty, Jimmy.I was tired and hungry from shopping all day. So, I headed over to get a pretzel as a snack. I didn't know Sbarro was over there. So, when I saw it, I decided to get pizza instead. Both Jimmy and the other employee on duty were very courteous snd conversational. The quality of service makes or breaks an experience. Service in this area is typically mediocre at best. So, it was quite refreshing to experience the opposite.I'll be back and recommend others to stop by!“
“Eclectic mixture of offerings.Ukrainian borscht is true to what I remember from childhood. Halibut with coconut sauce is brilliant. Steak medallions complement a very Ukranian potato and are of highest quality. The owner, Olena is amazing and sweet.“
“I'd come back for a slice. Located inside the Western Market on/near GW University. A little hard to find, yelp map doesn't match actual location (used google maps instead). Ordered a half margarita half pepperoni pie. Was hungry so ordered a slice of margarita pizza while we waited. The slice was awesome!!! The crust was crispy airy and delicious. Disappointed a little with the crust on the whole pie... it wasn't crispy at all... a little chewy. Tasted like two completely different pizza spots. Service was friendly. There was room for small or medium sized groups with seating in the back or out in the market place walk way. They had a large selection of drinks including beer/wine/etc.“
“Ambar's newest location does not disappoint. If you know Ambar, it goes without saying the food is amazing. new offerings on the menu gave me some new favorites to add to my already long list. New cocktails for a new address, yes and thank you! The design esthetic is light and refreshing...And the 2nd floor ceiling is an instagram dream. Easily 5 stars.“
“One of my favorite Halal Platters spot in the DMV. Just got hip to it last night and ate half my food and got full then the other half was finished by my bro before I could wake up the next day. The chicken was on point and the white sauce and bbq sauce are really good and flavorful. Highly recommend. Just got it again for a second day back to back ?“
“I tried the spicy lamb and it was really good. The girl working at the counter was really nice and helpful, but I unfortunately didn’t get her name (didn’t see it on the receipt either). They also have decent kids options that my toddler enjoyed. Will for sure come again!“
