“Just stopped by Marco's on 72nd in Gladstone after hiking all day. Allan greeted us and took our order, even included a discount coupon, which we did not have. The Greek salads, pizza bowl, and medium garden pizza were excellent! And much less expensive than another local chain. Marco's, you are our new favorite pizza place! And, Allan, thank you for your wonderful Customer Service!“

“Tried this local Gem for the first time tonight. it was by far the best BBQ my husband and I have ever eaten. The Pork belly burnt ends & brisket were melt in your mouth. The jalapeño sausage were the best my husband has ever had. The BBQ sauce was complimented the meats and was also very good. The street corn salad and lemon slaw were unique and would definitely recommend. Planning our next outing already to this place.“

“Very cool room hidden off the alley. Had an Italian Beef (Jim's Beef) and had low expectations. Being from Chicago I was a bit snobby about anyone else outside of the Windy City doing an IB right. My apologies. Great sandwich. The bread was perfect. Tender, juicy meat. Giardiniera nice and spicy. My only gripe would be the lack of fries as a side. I had the jalepeno slaw and it was good, but fries are the natural side to a lovely beef. Will be back.“

“We were staying at the Hampton Inn downtown and were looking for a good restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. The city market area has about a dozen restaurants to choose from, so we chose this one. It was an excellent choice. The restaurant is very bright due to having a lot of windows, as well as many light fixtures inside. We started with the shrimp toast appetizer, and it was outstanding. It contained toasted pieces of baguette covered in gold shrimp, moray, chives, Sriracha, nuox Cham cauliflower, and sesame crunch. I could just eat that dish again for my dinner. For entrees, we had the Bahn MI sandwich and the grilled quail. The Bahn MI consisted of pork meatballs, bacon pate, pickled vegetables, chili aioli, banana ketchup, chili oil and cilantro. It was very flavorful but a little spicy. My husband had the grilled quail. He loved it. It was accompanied by ginger-lime fried rice. We would definitely return.“

“The waiting time for this Olive Garden was very quick despite it being very busy. The hardest part it seems was finding parking as it is next to a very busy Hy-Vee and you may find yourself fighting for a spot.The service was acceptable and the food and appetizers came out in a very timely manner.The servers and staff were kind and willing to answer any questions we had and even for how busy it was, we were still given adequate attention.While there is not much the Olive Garden can do about this, the spacing and dining can be a little to close and cramped for people moving about the hall. “I would recommend Nick and Nino's Pub to others.My food was amazing (buffalo chicken mac and cheese). My coworkers got the turkey club with curly fries, the shrimp and scallop pasta, and the BBQ boneless wings with thin fries. The only complaint was that the thin fries weren't to his taste, but everything else was great! I rated the service 4 stars. Our waitress was great (though seemed new) but despite being the only folks in there, our food took longer than I would have expected. It was worth the wait though!We also played a couple games of pool. Their tables are clean and well maintained, and their cues are in good condition.Overall a great experience, especially for being there at 11:30am on a Monday!“
