“AMAZING food and incredible service. Jeff, our server, was very friendly and welcoming. He took his time walking us through the menu and answering all of our questions. The sushi here is next level and unlike anything I’ve experienced anywhere else. My wife and I cannot stop talking about our experience here!”
“Fantastic experience and delicious food and drinks. Mule was top notch.”
“4 stars for fingerling potatoes. 5 stars for Sleigh Bells “Rill Rill”.”
“The staff is outstanding…so warm and welcoming and just all around great! Food is outstanding with so many tasty options to choose from. Don’t miss out on the trout amandine and those amazing pomme frites!!! A wonderful menu of cocktails and wine, too. To close out the dinner, try the floating island. It’s pure heaven!”

“It was really good food and we were happy with it. Came for downtown restaurant week and tried a special. Only gripe was that we asked for one order of dumplings so we were confused when they came out with 3 for some reason. The server was nice but the order wasn’t read back to us so we weren’t aware of any misunderstanding. It tacked on an extra unexpected $20+ to the bill, which put a little damper on things, but I guess we had the chance to say something and just let it go. It’s a little frustrating but overall things were fine.”
“This was an incredible experience. I took my mother and grandmother here as a late mothers day treat, and we absolutely will be returning. My grandmother uses a walker and my mother has limited motion, so in the reservation request I asked for a table with easy access and noted we had one handicapped person. Upon arrival they showed us our table right away and made note of the best accessibility, and even put the walker out of our way. Both of them get nervous about accessibility at places, and they had 0 concerns and felt so comfortable.
What I absolutely LOVED though, was the kindness shown. My grandmother is hard of hearing (even with a hearing aid) and they got down on her level and deepend their voices just so she could understand EVERYTHING they were saying. They gave thorough explanations and we're incredibly personable. The owner and her daughter are so sweet and fun, we absolutely loved the conversations and moments we had together.
On to the food and tea. Impeccable. I'll be thinking of those scones and the Lapsang tea until I come back. Not one item was something I wouldn't eat again. Tatjana recommended us all doing a different High Tea and sharing, and this was definitely the way to go to get a little bit over everything. The price for what you get is perfect and 100000/10 would recommend and we'll be coming back.”

“Best Bread I have ever had, and I have been chasing down good bread for 50 years. I have had six different breads, all great. But the trading pane and the sesame are my favorites. Splurge for the tempered butter, it is worth it. Fantastic salads and soups, too. And the smoked beets are to die for!! Worth it to go just for that.”
“This place was AMAZING!! The food was so thoughtfully creative and prepared with obvious talent and love. We enjoyed meeting owner brothers and hearing their story of bringing their Yucatan culture and roots to the St. Louis food scene. Everything we tried was beyond delicious. This is a must-try for authentic Mexican food inspired by the Yucatan region.”

“went there Saturday and was upstairs at the bar i think it was close to 6. well anyhow the bartender was awesome! food was really awesome. I think i had the st louis burger. I was telling people that was a 2 hand burger! was really full after eating that. even though u were real busy food was great and people were friendly!”
“We love this place! Our favorite is the Texas BBQ Massacre! Absolutely delicious! The decore and atmosphere are spot on! Seeing a little tabletop standee of BrainScan was such a throwback! Everytime we come to St. Louis it is an obvious stop for us. My husband was recently sent up here to the hospital from Joplin and as soon as we found out he could eat I knew right were he was going to send me to pick up food. They were so accommodating and even sent a small gift to cheer up my husband and it did! Thank you so much! You guys are amazing!”
“My family and I are visiting St Louis and stopped in Cafe de Blaire for some ice cream. It was homemade and delicious. On top of that, the owner was sooo kind and warm to my kids. She gave me a sample of a coffee drink and it was delicious. I went back today for more coffee. The other worker was there and also very kind. I am a coffee snob and both drinks I tried were GOOD. We will be back tonight for ice cream. 😊”
“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.”
“Best food I’ve ever eaten! & the service was some of the best service I’ve ever had! I will recommend this restaurant to everyone!”
“I have been wanting to get here for several years, and we finally made it, tonight, to Anthonino's Taverna, a short distance from Rob's place. (Fun fact, this place has been spotlighted twice on Guy Fieri's Food Channel Show. I can now see why. 🥰) Well, I wish I had made it here sooner. But, that's behind us, and tonight was a delicious, and delightful night. Our waitress, Bailee, had the excellent insight to know it takes awhile to decide on a drink, and dinner choices. It doesn't matter if you read the menu online or not. Changes are always added. She gave us the grace to settle in for a few minutes. She gave us enough time to settle in so we could make our choices. Rob had a Kona Wave draft, and I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Bailee brought us bread made, and baked on The Hill with great quality olive oil, and herbs for dipping. Rob ordered the lasagna, and I opted for the Tutti de Mare with seafood, garlic, butter, and olive oil. My dinner was delicious, and made with freshly made pasta, and a perfect mix of perfectly cooked wild caught seafood of mussels, shrimp, clams, and squid. Rob's lasagna also featured freshly made pasta sheets, Anthonino's red sauce, sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. I tasted it, and it's your pick here if you love lasagna. Homemade taste that brought me back to my grandmother's and my mother's tables. 🥰❤️ I also felt welcomed, and comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. Italian girl here, and I would highly recommend this place for the food, drinks, the customer service, and the ambiance. I am already planning to come back on my next trip here. Anthonino's Taverna”

“I absolutely love The Fountain on Locust! It is by far one of my favorite restaurants in St. Louis! The food is amazing and the dessert is always the perfect way to end the meal! Every time I have been to The Fountain on Locust, I have left happier than when I came in! The staff is very welcoming and they always do a great job, providing top-tier service!”

“Wonderful.
Nothing short of a great dining experience. Delicious yet not typical dishes served in a beautiful space (indoor and patio) by some very thoughtful staff. This is the spot to bring friends from out of town when you want to impress them with an example of what St. Louis can deliver. I will be back, often.”
“Really good food! Fantastic service, very good food selection, simply outstanding.”
“Great food, great service, great atmosphere, & great vibes!!!”
“What a wonderful place! Picked up tuna bowl lunches and a roll to share and everything was AMAZING!!! Best tuna and sushi rice and great combination of ingredients. Everything very fresh. Place your order and wait for your pick up time. Easy! Can;t wait to get back.”

“First visit in at least 5 years and if anything, it has only improved. It has always been my favorite venue in STL. I love that the entire space is all ages if it's an all ages show now! Great experience bringing my 10 year old to see the Aquabats for her first concert.”
“The worker “Princess” was amazing!!! She really did a wonderful job with keeping everything together. Amazing personality, very sweet, and made sure to check on everyone even when they were extra busy. If I come back the 3.5 hours I will be stopping by here again just to see her!!”
“Second time getting fried chicken wing; they were cooked to order, hot fresh and well seasoned. The service was sufficient even though they assumed I was paying with EBT, had to tell them 3x I wasn't before they understood why I wasn't paying yet. Store is crowded and items don't have prices on them, that makes me uncomfortable.”
“This store is on top of it. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.....you are covered! Today was probably one of their most busy days. They were staffed appropriately well for a 10pm crave case. Not too mention the massive car show people who rode through...hats off, 4 cars deep, I still only waited 5 min. Food was hot and EXSACTLY how I wanted it. Go here.”
“This was an older IHOP with a blue a-frame roof and smaller than the new ones. The restaurant was like 50 away from I-170, so it was an urban feel. The restrooms were accessible through the kitchen, which was unusual. The food was good and the service was friendly. A very nostalgic IHOP.”
“The food is fire. Really haven’t found anywhere in a while that compares”
“The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Thank you!”
“We came into Charlie Gitto’s on the Hill with no reservation, to celebrate my birthday. There was a short wait for seating but we got drinks and were checked on during our wait. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable with pairing drinks with food. The lobster ravioli and manicotti were delicious!! I look forward to going back in the future.”
Takeout Restaurants
“I finally made it and really it’s worth 100 stars , The chicken salad is probably the best salad in Stl , everything about it is perfect , chicken soo good , lettuce chopped with tons of parsley, all ingredients top notch and the dressing is excellent. I had the spinach pie for dinner and it is heaven . I’ve already planned on nesting 2 sets of ppl there! Can’t wait to go back!”
“everything we got was so uniquely and perfectly delicious! genius flavor combinations! beautiful store & love the sense of community and art and posters in there! such a unique hidden gem i’m so glad tik tok helped me find! nothing else i can think of like it and will be back soon :)”
“My husband found this place as a spot for our day trip to stl. My sister in law introduced me to Cuban food years ago so I was no stranger! It was DELICIOUS!! The tostones with garlic,my Cuban with black beans, all amazing. An observation:this place was hopping! I’d make a reservation or I’d get it to go because you might be waiting for a while but in my opinion,it’s worth the wait!”
“I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.”
“Attended a church conference in St. Louis and was recommended to check out this spot for some really good coffee — and it did not disappoint! ☕️ The coffee was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved it so much that we placed an order to have their coffee shipped to our home! Bonus — you can even choose your grind. This will definitely be our new go-to coffee shipment! 💛”
“We went tonight to celebrate a birthday. Food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The owner spoke to us a couple of time’s. Looking forward to going back.”
“Impromptu date night away from the kids lead us to this place! We arrived at peak dinner time- 7:30- and shockingly there was no wait! I can’t imagine this will last for long, because the service is fabulous, and the food is delicious! We have really enjoyed the other restaurants by these guys- and Press does not disappoint! I loved the Lavender cocktail, Husb enjoyed the sweet take on the old fashioned. I also had the beet salad to start- but ate it too fast to get a photo! The smash pizzas have a delicate combination of flavors, are easy to eat and heat up the next day to continue the culinary enjoyment!”

“Traveling and just stopped for coffee. Was blown away by the charming atmosphere! And yes, like any real speakeasy, there is a secret which probably gets missed by most! Very cool! The owners are the sweetest and they have THEE best baked goods and fantastic coffee.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pictured below is the Gonzo calzone- Salami, dates, spinach, garlic herb cheese, mozzarella, mascarpone-ricotta blend, and garlic oil with garlic butter on the side. My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I read off dates but the slight sweetness against all of that savory is what made it!! We also tried the Fatty B, Meat me in St Louie, Magic Carpet Ride, and the Gyro. They were all amazing but the Gonzo and the Gyro were my favorites. The Magic Carpet Ride is also a must try if you're into mushrooms.”
“Great burgers! I LOVED my TriPPPy burger which has a pineapple chutney and bacon jam. You will want extra napkins with that one.? My husband built his own burger to get just what he wanted and enjoyed his burger. They also have veggie options, but these carnivores did not explore them.”
“went there for a birthday party everything was great about it from the drinks to the staff nice chill environment will definitely go back soon!”
“Uniquely decorated inside, and it's beautiful. Outside patio is awesome, loved the music, We had amazing service as well♥️ and great food!”
“I went to Pizzeoli last night with a group of friends and had an amazing dining experience. We started off with the Deep Fried Chanterelles and Chili-kissed Garlic Knots - the chantrellles were delicious and came with a chili ranch sauce that I would love bottled for home use. The garlic knots were a cut above your normal pizza place fare - melted in my mouth and garlic to butter proportions were perfectly balanced. It should be noted that their drink menu is extensive (along with their pizza menu - so many great options!). I chose the Athletic Cerveza - a great Non-alcoholic beer that ranks as a personal fav. I also like that Pizzeoli had multiple NA options as a non-drinker. On to the main course - my group chose the Andy (a current special with white sauce and mushrooms), the Lumberjack Snack (pep and bacon on red sauce) and the Meatball pizza (as recommended per their chef - meatballs on white sauce!). All three were delicious and cooked to perfection - the right amount of bubbles in the perfectly thin curst. I kept trying to choose a favorite and couldn't decide - would personally recommend a white sauce pizza but the red was also awesome! The grand finale was a banana split dessert pizza and ice cream sandwiches. A hot dessert pizza with the perfect cool toppings, I'd stop in just for an after meal treat some time. The ice cream sandwiches were delectable and fun to share with the table too. The atmosphere of Pizzeoli transported me to a simpler time when going to a neighborhood pizza place meant a friendly staff, unique decorations (check out the light shades over the tables!) and quality craftsmanship. A new favorite - highly recommend!”
Fine Dining
“I ordered the NY Strip with fries. Alerted my server that I had a dairy allergy and still received a steak smothered in butter. The server was generally excellent, until he brought the check and the steak (which I was unable to eat) was still on the bill. He removed it when I asked, but I felt I shouldn't have had to ask.”
“Went for a late lunch, so dining room not very busy. Excellent and attentive service. The food was very good. My husband enjoyed the Wellington. And I had a very nice crabcake with probably more crab meat in it than any crab cake I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot of them!”
“Delicious food. Friendly atmosphere. Great service. Great happy hour menu! Great little local gem. Everyone is so kind. Shannon was great!”
“Cocktails. Food. Service. Music. Vibe. Everything was top tier. Had a lovely time and we will be back again. We made a reservation on Google, it was simple and we got sat right away. Can’t wait to go back!”

“We experienced the Clydesdale VIP tour yesterday and highly recommend it. Our guide was Randy and he did a fabulous job of sharing information regarding the history of Anheuser-Busch and how the Clydesdales became part of their iconic signature. The biggest thrill of the tour was meeting Lester, a semi retired former lead horse on a Clydesdale team. We were able to able to talk to him, pet him and take photos with him. It was a dream come true experience!”
“We did the Day Fresh tour on a Thursday morning (10:30am) in June. The tour lasted about 90 minutes with several stops during the tour. We visited the Clydesdale horses and stable, fermenting and bottling buildings, sampled beer while we learned about the ingredients in Budweiser beer, took a trolley ride back to the staring place, and ended the tour with a 20oz draft as part of the tour. Also part of the Day Fresh tour, everyone over 21 was given a bottle of beer that had been bottled less than 24 hours before. This tour was great-make sure to spend time in the gift shop after the tour. So many fun gifts and souvenirs. Highly recommend!!
*side note* closed toed shoes are highly recommended by AB”
“You won’t find more creative, better tasting goodies in the area, with kind service to top it all off. Their cake designs go above and beyond and so does their kindness. This team is so vested in their community and leaving this space better than they found it; it’s rare to find any business that hits all the marks. We’ve been buying our birthday cakes here since our first’s first and she will be eight in August. Cake House will always be our bakery!!!”
“After reading the exceptional reviews, I decided to go and obtain my own opinion.... I can’t say enough positive things about the service at Olivette Diner – it was excellent! Ms. Melinda and Mr. Vince are polite and attentive, both go above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience – They genuinely care about their guests. I look forward to being a regular! 🍽️ 🥘 🍳 🍵 ☕️”
“I can’t stop thinking about YOU! My husband and I visited our friends in St. Louis in July. We’re from Michigan & they said that this was the place we HAD to go to no negotiations. I’m a pasta girl so I said no problem! This place is absolutely amazing. I had a special rigatoni with shrimp and oh my goodness. Chefs kisss doesn’t define it. The food was so delightful and definitely Italian authentic! Homemade noodles, sauce from scratch, delicious wine, high quality meats….the list goes on. The only problem now is I’m 1,000 miles away with no hope of ever eating it again. Trattoria Marcella…I love you! I’ve been thinking about you! And I wish I could go BACK! Highly recommend. It’s one of those places that is excellent from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. The manager is delightful as well! Don’t think about it! Just do it!!!”
“This was a wonderful cocktail bar. The mixologists were super personable and so much fun! The drinks were delicious and inventive. Thanks for a great night!”
“It was such a great time! Food excellent, wine even better and the atmosphere was so awesome. Low lighting just a great vibe”

“It is a cute place. There are kiosks to order. Service is extremely fast given how busy they are. Lots of option and they are good. You just have to try til you find your favorites.”
“Guido’s is the best! Every meal I have had there is top notch. It’s our “go to” restaurant!”
“First time going and loved the vibe/decore!!! Met the owner and so enjoyed her and the hospitality!!! Definitely will be going back!! The food/drinks/music was so enjoyable!!!”
“Absolutely amazing! The food and drinks were outstanding and the service was even better. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening. Can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for a nice restaurant with the best food, this is it!”
“Nice, relaxing atmosphere. Great servers. Amazing, authentic food.”
“The food and drinks were amazing! Great service and an overall great dining experience. Best sazerac I’ve had in a long time and the salmon was delicious!”
“Wonderful.

“Before their great beer could be found in cans at your local grocery store, there was the Civil Life Brewing Company tap room and restaurant. Great craft beer and perfect pub food & comfort food served in a German brew house style space. Fantastic outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Worth the trip to South City.”
“First visit in at least 5 years and if anything, it has only improved. It has always been my favorite venue in STL. I love that the entire space is all ages if it's an all ages show now! Great experience bringing my 10 year old to see the Aquabats for her first concert.”
“Has gluten free options, healthy fresh food and drink options. Love the staff and ambiance. I Always shop for plants or gifts in their gift shop after eating.”
“Had a wonderful lunch here. Never had Persian food. I ordered the Aash stew, lamb biryani, and chai. The stew was wonderful and refreshing. The lamb shank w biryani was fall of the bone. Such magical flavors in the lamb. The chai was such a great addition. Its fresh made not instant. Service was exceptional by the owner and he was so thankful to my compliments. For those whom do not know about Persia, it is a culture in Iran. Do yourself a favor and give the small business a try.”
“Sooooo good! Got there later in the evening and they were out of many things, but what was left on the menu was still outstanding. 10 out of 10 recommend. Backyard patio was a good vibe with a great band playing too!”
“The best experience! Staff was so kind and helpful. Even with my crazy kids being wild, they were still so warm and patient. Food was FANTASTIC. Think lutong Bahay…but better?! The time, care, and attention they put into their cooking is evident from the house made syrups, marinades, and baked goods. Mabuhay, Manileño!”
“Stuffed squash blossom, delicious!! Did not get the margarita had a different cheese pizza with garlic can’t remember the name. It was great except 2 slices had no cheese. Will definitely be back but need more cheese!!”
“Nice spot in the airport for a little wine tasting and some decent food. Can get wine flights or by the glass. Lots of variety. Food was a little limited but good. Service was just OK.”
“Excellent food and service! Justin and Chris provided excellent service. The staff at the hostess desk were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Very thankful for wonderful gluten-free options”
“The food is amazing. The location is great. The service is impeccable. This is THE place to be!”
“Carmine’s is my favorite steakhouse in St. Louis. I have been a loyal customer at all of the Lombardo family restaurants my entire life and Carmine’s is simply the best. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is always 5 stars, never disappoints. I recommend eating here before/after a downtown event or game because the location is prime and has easy access to the highway. I always use their valet parking to avoid traffic at other downtown parking places.”
“We were in town visiting our son and found Sushi Koi in a Google search and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. John, our server, was great! The food was AMAZING! We had several rolls, sashimi soup, and fried tofu. The fish portions were very generous and the appearance of the plates was top notch! We will definitely go back home we are In town!”
“Food here was great. The Parathas are very good and the Chicken Tikka Masala was great too. The staff is helpful and kind. Would recommend people to try it out. Although I’m on vacation I would definitely come back here if I’m in Missouri”
“Attended a birthday party here yesterday. Great ciders and food. Staff was amazing as well. Will definitely be back!”
“First time here. Delicious food and drinks! Fantastic staff! My new favorite restaurant.”
“This is the perfect venue for any large gathering or celebration - the best food,m and an awesome atmosphere!”
“Piekutowski's polish sausage is the best. You will never want anything else once you have it..”
“Ok, here’s the thing… I love food. And when I say I love food, you might think I’m a huge person or a food critic or a chef or just a dramatic fan. Well, I am actually an artist, and I… I can tell you in no uncertain terms, that the food we received was *high art.* I don’t mean the kind of pretentious high art food that is served in tiny portions and so beautiful that you almost don’t want to eat it. I mean that it was masterfully created—flavorful, textured to perfection, filling, and lamentable *only* in that I wish I’d had room for more. We started with the stuffed mushroom appetizer—which I’ll admit is not usually my favorite, but my wife generally loves—served upon a sprinkle of arugula and a slashed drizzle of balsamic glaze. Imma tell ya… I like stuffed mushrooms now. My wife ordered an entrée of eggplant Parmesan—one that she doesn’t care to make often for herself only because (and I’m quoting), “It’s a pain in the a$$ to cook.” I ordered linguine Pomodoro with added shrimp and had the steamed mussels appetizer served with my entrée, so that I could add them in (as I *do* love a tutto mare). Since my wife’s entrée was one of her favorites, and I don’t generally care for it, I left her to it, concentrating on my own. I shucked all the mussels and strained their accompanying shallots and bacon into my linguine leaving the garlic and cilantro pesto behind for bread dipping. OH [*clap*clap*clap*]—I forgot to mention the bread. They served a fantastic mini loaf of the softest bread topped with caramelized onions alongside fresh grated Parmesan in olive oil. Upon our finishing it off, I asked for a second helping. Back to the entrée… My first actual bite was of the mussels, and that bite was fantastic. Then I had one of the shrimp… and… here’s the thing… I am a poet, and I also write children’s books, so when I tell you that I simply do not have a superlative sufficient to describe the shrimp, you know I’m being serious. It was warm, seasoned, and snappy as shrimp should be, but it gave me pause—as Anton Ego in Ratatouille. * First, doubt—that I had experienced something so specifically wonderful before * Then, a quick scan from childhood to now for confirmation * And lastly, the comfort that can only come from those happiest memories of childhood—Christmas mornings on receiving more than you could ever have hoped for, Halloween nights’ preparations for what giggles and terrors were to come, and burrito-you ensconced in soft blankets straight from the dryer Then of course, the rest of the dish, twirled and slurped—not too quickly… every bite a confirmation and yet still a revelation. Here again, my only lament that I must see a portion of it boxed to leave room for dessert. And… dessert. Oh, boy… Seeing all of the items, my wife and I—in celebration of our 26th anniversary—decided on the sampler. Listen up, folks: flourless chocolate torta, crème custard napoleon, and gooey butter cake. JFC are you serious? Every bite more sumptuous—more scrumptious than the last. Every bit a reassurance that I will return. Our server, Chelsea, was commendable not only for her menu knowledge and sense of humor, but it’s not for nothing that she was absolutely on top of it with regard to my tea refills (which were many, as our dinner took place after a dehydratingly-busy workday for me). We will definitely be returning to Eleven Eleven, whereupon I intend to try a few different items, my palate then flooded with new sensations—new wonders… my only lament that I will not ever have that “first time experience” again.”
“We actually had a fantastic time at Broadway oyster bar, which we always do. You always accommodate my wheelchair at the front table, which gives me easy access in and out since it is quite a truck to the bathroom because of having to leave the building and re-entering, but I don't mind that your venue is very much worth it. The food was fantastic last night. I had a Caesar salad and the rest of my party had full meals, but that was the best Caesar salad. I think I've ever had in the band LAKA of course is the absolute best even if she is one of my closest friends”
“Bartolinos South is our favorite nice restaurant. Not only is the food consistently wonderful but they always work to please you. We celebrate all special occasions there. Recently we reserved their front room which holds a max of 16, I believe. They went out of their way to make the setting perfect (even bringing in a small table for our use). Our waiter, Karen, was discreet in providing us perfect service without interrupting our shared conversation/memories as we were toasting a dear friend on her birthday. I can’t say enough about how flawless they made our luncheon. Bartolinos will remain our favorite not only for the quality of the food but for their personal attention.”
“Pasta con Broccoli sauce was like water, no flavor! Moved the noodles to my wife’s dish and took it home. Service was good. Stuffed Mushrooms were ok. Won’t go back”
“Great food and service. Rob was friendly, engaging, and there when you needed him. The restaurant was quiet enough for us to carry on a conversation without any distraction from other tables.”
“Went there yesterday for my birthday. First time visiting this place. Found them on instgram. They definitely are living up to the grams hype. Very elevated dishes. Asethically pleasing to the eye!! And even though the dishes were smaller than im used to, it was delicious. We had asparagus, pork schnitzel, icebox cake and more. Our server Damien made sure we had the best time . What I really love is the fact there menu changes every 6 weeks. Go check em out.”
“Dinner was great!! Here for a convention and wanted a local restaurant to support the local economy and be a little away from downtown. Our server Nikki was AMAZING!!! She was very attentive and informative with all menu questions and knowledgeable about the local business and location on The Hill! Highly recommend Carnivore!!”
“Had a catered lunch brought to work for a special occasion. Everything was perfect. The catering crew out did themselves. Every dish was fresh and the hot food was perfect temperature. Thank you!!!!!”
“Went there for the first time Sunday and it was a great place. The food was delicious and the owner came out and greeted every table and was super nice.”
“First time here and let me tell you, I'll definitely be returning! Beautiful, delicious cocktail, outstanding service, and very welcoming/relaxing atmosphere! Definitely a hidden gem!”
“Nick (Grass) took care of us very well. Not only was he very friendly, but let us know various types of drinks and the prices of them as well! We would absolutely refer him to anyone we come in contact with looking to have a great but valuable time!”
“The best and my favorite restaurant in STL! So happy they were able to recover after their pipes burst. Now I have my husband hooked and we come here any chance we get. Love love love the Shaved Duck! They do it right every time 🔥♥️”
“Great wine, place to lounge and relax with friends . Best bartender and server”
“We had dinner with friends here last night and it was fantastic. The shrimp toast was incredible. Scallops were fantastic. We had quite a list of different dishes and they were all great! Didn’t get pictures of it all but here’s some of what we had!”
“Last night was our second time to Lorenzo’s Trattoria and again it was amazing. Our waiter, Jose, was energetic and friendly, always with a true smile on his face, wait staff kept our drinks full and used dishes cleared, but the best part was the food. Absolutely delicious! We will be back many times!”
“As a vegan I have to say hands down this is my FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT!!! The food is fresh, the staff is so nice and it’s DELICIOUS I can’t say enough I order here at least once a week if not more than that lol”
“We had a very fun time playing Tuesday night trivia with our three kids. Great bites, good beers, excellent service & friendly atmosphere. 10/10 recommended!”
“One of the best restaurants on the hill which is known for their Italian cuisine. You won’t be disappointed. White tablecloth, excellent service. The Rolls served hot in a basket with butter is easy to overindulge in. The calamari was cooked perfectly. If you like risotto, try the risotto with lobster. Veal Parmesan is excellent. If you’re lucky, you may hear Dominic sing at one of the tables for a birthday or anniversary! This is the real deal folks.”
“I give them 5/5 stars. Their banana latte with lychee jelly is absolutely delicious as well as their chocolate strawberry crepe. The employees are super sweet. I will coming here more often.”
“I love this restaurant. The menu is eclectic and the food is fantastic and the cocktails are really good. Great atmosphere inside and on the patio. I've been there for both lunch and dinner and the staff is very attentive and super nice. The Chicken Phad Thai Nachos are awesome!”
“Our wedding in February 2024 was a dream come true! Grbic helped make our day absolutely perfect. Leija was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with and quick to respond to all of our needs. The ceremony was held on the covered patio space and the reception in the Luxe Room which is gorgeous! The homemade food was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and fun. We were able to borrow almost all of our decor from their closet which was an added bonus. We are so happy we chose Grbic!”
“fantastic dishes and drinks. cool vibe and great mix of people. best brunch I've had in many years. kale salad was incredible.”
“I just finished some of the best food I've ever had. My partner and I got half a chicken and an order of aji amarillo curry to share, along with several sides. While everything was amazing, the rotisserie chicken might qualify as a religious experience. I laughed. I cried. I mopped up the trio of sauces and sucked the meat from the bones like an animal. Absolutely phenomenal.”
“We had a table reserved and arrived a few minutes early. The place was packed but they immediately seated us and were very attentive. We were quickly waited on, drinks showed up, order taken and food was on our table very timely. Friendly staff, excellent food and great prices. We could not have had a better experience. I highly recommend!”
“Love this place! Always a great hang and the music is performed by some of the best artists in St. Louis! Food is spectacular Italian comfort food, and presented with such care and detail. I’m positive that the summer will bring a lot of attention to their elevated patio. Go check it out!!!”
“I want to extend my deep gratitude to the great Hostess last Saturday afternoon who kindly went above and beyond her responsibilities not only as a host but as a human being by letting me (offering!) charge my lon foot and had a dead phone. It was about 4 pm and the place was slightly busy (almost outside full and inside) but not much else was around the area so my hunch and restaurant experience tells me they’re doing everything right: good food, good prices and good staff. The atmosphere is inviting, unpretentious and sort of a homey, cozy n stylish flair. I would’ve rather stayed and ate but thankfully the hostess helped me on my way. thank you for helping and not being annoyed when I asked for directions twice! (Also,”
“Fantastic food & incredible service made our 24th wedding anniversary celebration memorable.”
“Private dining experience that did not disappoint! we had a party of 15 that booked the entire venue (honestly that's all that fits). Chef welcomed us with open arms and explained what to expect in our four course meal. Everything was cooked so well and tasted amazing. We would absolutely do this experience again!”
“Every time I visit, it’s an entirely new experience. The staff here is as amazing as their culinary creations. Cannot recommend enough. The new patio is gorgeous.”
“Your gluten free menu is the best we have had at a restaurant in the metro area. Can’t wait for you guys to come to Saint Charles county.”
“Fantastic Cajun food owned by a couple of great people! Everything on the menu is DELICIOUS!”

“I have been there many times, and I have always received great service from all the waitresses. Carolina and Luisa will make you feel welcome and brighten your day. I've been through most of their menu and even asked them to pick a meal they thought was the best for me, and I was happily surprised at how wonderful it was. When they first opened, I had a going-away party for a friend with 12 people, and they could not have been more accommodating. Sidenote: if you've not had the choriqueso dip, you are in for a treat.”
“Traveling and just stopped for coffee. Was blown away by the charming atmosphere! And yes, like any real speakeasy, there is a secret which probably gets missed by most! Very cool! The owners are the sweetest and they have THEE best baked goods and fantastic coffee.”
“I have eaten here several times in the last few months, and I was very pleased with every aspect of the restaurant. The food selection and preparation was amazing, , the atmosphere was inviting and appealing, and the service was great! Very glad we've been there!”

“When I walked in, I realized the place was packed, but we were hoping the wait wasn't too long, they quoted 45 minutes, which was a little too long for us. There was 5 of us and we decided to sit at the bar. And I'm sure glad we did. We had a bartender, I forgot her name, but she had purple hair, she was the absolute best. Not only did she make amazing drinks, she made sure our food came out right and hot. She also entertained us the whole time we were there, by engaging in conversations. You don't see that very much these days. If there was a word better than perfect, that's how I would describe it. I'll definitely be sitting at the bar more often.”
“We just went for the first time tonight & hate we’ve missed out on going sooner! We are from Southern Indiana & it’s going to be hard to find anything to compare at home! Greg, Louis, and Eddie who were working the smoker when we left were so nice, told us all the ins and outs of the place, and truly take pride in their work. That pride is reflected in the delicious meal you’ll get! 10/10 recommend!”
“Went for a late lunch, so dining room not very busy. Excellent and attentive service. The food was very good. My husband enjoyed the Wellington. And I had a very nice crabcake with probably more crab meat in it than any crab cake I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot of them!”
“We called and made a reservation as I wasn’t sure how busy it would be and I am glad I did. I knew walking in that we were in for a treat by the amount of people waiting and the amazing smells of good Italian food. The service was quick! We had our appetizers shortly after we ordered them. The calamari was delicious! Our meals were out in a timely manner as well. My daughters absolutely destroyed their manicotti and said it was the best they’d had! My scampi was probably one of the best scampis I have ever eaten. Loved the atmosphere and decor! We will be back on our next trip to St. Louis!”
“Wonderful hotel! We had zero issues! Check in was smooth, quick, helpful, and friendly! They accommodated any need we could have or arouse! Our loft was very clean and exactly what the pictures showed! The bathtub was my favorite! They even had a rubber duck for baths! We also received one free nightcap, curtesy of Idol Wolf, per night of our stay! The pool and spa were beyond amazing! Staff were sooo helpful! I can’t stress how much they helped us! The coffee shop was amazing and the coffee and mimosa was great! Security was a bit better than expected with not allowing access to guest floors without a key card. We bussed in and used Uber for traveling around the city, so as far as security there I have no idea. Museum is so nice and definitely got some culture in that we don’t normally have easy access to. There is no smoking area provided and we had to smoke out on the sidewalk. Was a bit intimidating as staff leaving in the evening told us several times that the area was unsafe. We had no issues, but we’re fairly smart travelers and know that St. Louis, like most large cities, can be unsafe. 10/10! We will stay here again!”

“Id give 10 stars if I could. Neighborhood wise, cannot by any means judge a book by its cover. this place is an absolute diamond in the rough with an incredibly beautiful interior and many wonderful surprises inside. The owner was kind, friendly, and personable. I felt like we were genuinely good friends after our short visit. I am upset that we discovered this place at the end of our vacation otherwise we wpuld have spent the whole day here. He has been in business just about one year and gave us a full tour of what's to come. the initial inside is a full bar of wine, liquor, and beer. we toured the back that has a gorgeous patio space, and beyond that is a cigar lounge. TVs and theater seating. he then showed us the speakeasy. through the secret door against the wall, you walk upstairs and find an additional whole wine bar with 1930s themed speakeasy vibes. I cannot wait to come back to st. Louis in a couple years and see everything finished and ready to roll. such an innovative and awesome place I wish our hometown had.”
“Came here with my coworkers on a Saturday night after working a festival. We were tired and starving and when we arrived and we got seated and got our order taken right away. It didn’t even feel like a long wait when our food arrived steaming and fresh. It was absolutely delicious and we left feeling full and satisfied. Amazing service with attentive and friendly staff. Definitely coming back when I visit St. Louis.”
“I took my cousin to The Moniker for her birthday. The decor, the thoughtful details, and even the glassware were all top-notch. The customer service made us feel like family; the hostess at the front desk even took photos of us and made us feel so welcome. The owner curated special drinks, letting us taste a variety of unique styles. And the chef’s creations were absolutely delicious. Even the bathroom was beautifully decorated! I’ll definitely be returning, and my cousin was completely blown away by the experience. Highly recommend it for a quick bite or night out.”
“Just got an amazing bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I wish I would have taken a picture. The pastry was delicious and buttery. They have a good selection of essentials as well. Groceries, TP, health items. In a convenient place to walk to in the neighborhood.”
“They had food setup at One Metropolitan downtown, the food was decent but I didn’t taste anything that makes me want to return. I do wish them success because they were very nice. Here’s my feedback: 1st The sauce on the ribs was tasty but the ribs themselves were a bit chewier than I like and I didn’t taste any smoked flavor, really didn’t give a grill taste but the sauce did save them a little. 2nd the mac and cheese had a good taste but it doesn’t give baked mac & cheese more of stove top. Overall not a bad experience but the price point has them way over priced for what you get, ribs and mac & cheese cost me $21.94 when you can get 2 meats and 2 sides at Salt & Smoke for that price.”
“One BILLION stars out of ten. Best food in STL city and surrounding area open after 8 pm period. The tacos and sausage sandwich are extremely filling and seasoned and topped with great sauces. Walk up to the window and wait for them to slide it open and serve the food if you already ordered.”
