“Kyra was an amazing server. She introduced us to the fresh juices offered. The staff was extremely inviting and welcoming. The food was over the top. I had two scrambled eggs with goat cheese. The turkey sausage was juicy and my waffle was flaky and soft. The perfect combination. We will for sure be back.“
“There is ample seating outside as well. We love that you can see the greenery outside.I had the steel cut oatmeal and a bowl of fruit. My husband had the french toast plate with 2 over easy eggs. Everything was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh. “1st time customer! Ordered the Taylor ham and egg sandwich for breakfast yesterday and was crushed to find out that you cannot order chili on sandwiches until 11AM. We northern transplants like chili on our egg sandwiches. The sandwich was still delicious, don't get me wrong. I'll be back for sure!“

“I was at this restaurant on Sunday 11/19/2023 . Went to Charlotte to see the Dallas Cowboys play the Panthers. We ate breakfast at this restaurant the food was very good and service outstanding . I wish we had a restaurant in Chesapeake Virginia or surrounding area with this type of southern cooking. “Lovely 50s styled cafe. The food was so well made and delicious.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options and can make some otems to order. I was wary of all the nuts on the menu but did fine. I didn't ask about preplike I normally do. But the waitress was proactive in asking about food allergies, so she got me into a comfortable zone.“
“Came here for brunch with my girlfriends. We waited about 5 minutes for our table of 3. It was busy, which is to be expected since it was 1PM on a Saturday. Our server Juliana was an ABSOLUTE angel! She was such a sweetheart & took great care of us, always making sure we had refills and everything we needed.The food came out within about 10 minutes. Between us we got the lemon berry crepe, strawberry French toast, & chicken fried steak. The French toast had to have been the largest two slices of toast I’ve ever seen! The chicken fried steak was the size of a small dinner plate! Super yummy and filling.Trinity wasn’t our server, but she had a table that complained about literally everything for no reason at all. She was super sweet so we had to take care of her as well!We will definitely be back to see either of these queens! Ask for them next time you stop by. :)“

Darren, brought our coffee and food very fast, and refilled our cups quickly. The food came in hot, and very delicious. Overall, I had a great experience at this location. I think the mushrooms may be marinated in like a vinegrette. Or the red onions. So if that is not a flavor you like best to not get the mushroom panini. (Not a complaint just an observation :-)“
“3/16/2024 10:50Everything was awesome! The host was a bit robotic, but he's cool. Waitor is awesome. But..... I had to use the restroom, and what I saw has so far ruined my experience.There is urine on the floor around the urinal. I couldn't even get close to the urinal to use it. Then bam went to a stall there is tissue on the floor that had chocolate colored matter all over it.Someone should be checking these restrooms frequently enough to ensure that a restroom like this doesn't negatively impact customers' experience.However... due solely to how professional my waitior was! I have to leave 5 stars. He is definitely geared towards facilitating a pleasant experience for IHOP customers. Emmanuel is the sole purpose for these 5 stars. I was initially leaving 3 stars because of that 'Nastass' bathroom. But... Emmanuel was absolutely awesome.Vegetarian options: Almost anything on any dish can be substituted for a plant based option. The Big Steak Omelette with the impossible meat substitute is awesome.“
“I come here EVERY week with my 4 kids and we LOVE it! Always gets the French Toast Combo while the kids get a mixture of Mac and cheese and pancakes. Kids enjoy the pancakes every time while I enjoy my French Toast Eggs and Bacon. Places tend to have soggy French Toast but it’s always grilled to perfection here. The service is on point never had a disappointing experience with any server. Definitely would recommend this place especially because the food is fresh.“
“Cleanest Waffle House and best service for a Waffle House! I dont know his name but the male cook has a great voice and if you lucky enough you'll hear him singing while there. Most of the servers are also very good and better than many fencier restaurant you'll visit. “So glad we discovered this little gem for breakfast. They had standard dishes as well as more unique ones. I ordered the Booker T's East Side Hasher which was described as sweet potato hashbrowns topped with frittata style eggs with your choice of meat, green onions and cheese. I chose the chipotle chicken. There was an up charge for it but that was noted on the menu. I would not have described the swee potatoes as hash browns. They were softer with the flavor of a sweet potato casserole, but I like all sweet potatoes so still enjoyed it. Husband ordered the Blazin'' Saddles omelette. He said it had a bit of kick with the fresh jalapeños which he likes. Husband really like the apple butter on his biscuit. Overall service was good and portion sizes were generous. I'f like to return and try some of the other menu options.“

“This is not my first nor last time dining at this Famous Toastery. However, I was saddened today on ordering to find out that my beloved candied bacon is no longer on the menu. This is the one constant no matter what I ordered. Whoever in corporate that made the decision to eradicate this delicacy should be evaluated! This alone will lessen my frequency (and others) to choose dining at this establishment without candied bacon. Other than that, good experience today.Parking: Usually it's a busy parking lot. You may have to walk a little because there are a lot of stores in the area.“
