“I visited here today for lunch and had an awesome experience! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I got the curry and brown stew chicken with mac and cheese with cabbage everything was delicious! I was disappointed they didn't have ox tails but it gives me another reason to go back! They also had some vegan options I can't wait to try!! It's worth a try, you won't be disappointed I left full and happy. I included a photo but I had to take a couple of bites first!”

“Went for lunch today. Had a 5 minute wait to be seated which was pretty fast. Ordered our food. I also had soup with my meal but they had no silverware. The waitress brought a pack of plastic utensils. She eventually brought metal silverware .. For some reason they have become pretty stingy with condiments. They had bottled ketchup on tables except a few so she brought us packets instead of a bottle. The wood chairs are pretty hard to sit in. Some of them look like the front legs are shorter than the back legs. Other than that everything was ok..”

“This past Saturday I held my mother’s 75th birthday party at the restaurant. I live in Atlanta and have never eaten here, and completely went out on a limb based upon word-of-mouth. I worked closely with Andrew on all of the specific details to ensure that this was a spectacular event. I created my own menu for over 40 guests which included the Atlantic salmon, ribs, ribeye, Sal’s chicken, along with 3 other options for guests with a smaller appetite. Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE was extremely pleased with the portions and taste of the food. Like me, most of our guests had never eaten here and simply could not believe the food quality. I am a steak connoisseur and my ribeye was among the best I’ve ever had! Our servers Courtney and Mikey were the BEST! From the moment I arrived, Courtney jumped in, went through possible seating arrangements, reviewed my menu and worked tirelessly to ensure my needs were met. Living in Atlanta, I have grown accustomed to top-tier service and I can honestly say that I received it. The space was extremely conducive for our event and the restrooms were clean and well maintained. Andrew, Courtney, and Mikey - thank you for living out impeccable customer service and helping us make my mother’s 75th birthday celebration a phenomenal event! See you on my next trip❤️”

“The Great Wolf Lodge Concord provides a fun, fabulous time for everyone! This Mimi of two received the request for a Howling birthday (turning 6) weekend after her sister’s Howling birthday (turned 8) weekend in August. The staff is friendly, professional, helpful, and ready to assist from before you arrive to the end of your stay. They don’t fail to make the kiddos feel special, welcomed, and wanted! That means a lot to things grandma since the kids are the reason we come! Our room has always been clean. And while there may be some areas that the hotel needs to update, staff is always available to ensure that even with the large crowds the property’s cleanliness is maintained. (To the best of my memory, each time we return, those things that needed replacing in the prior visit have been replaced.) Birthday packages are set up in the room between 4 and 6 PM. It is always a pleasant surprise. Either way! From the banner on the door to the birthday cake and balloons, the one cream cone, and of course the arcade card, it’s a special treat, indeed. Speaking of Birthday packages, we , personally, do not do the package that includes pizza because the pizza is not to our liking, but that’s OK because Concord, NC has a wide variety of restaurant options to suit our fancy. The restaurant within the hotel offers a Buffet for breakfast that we do choose to eat. It’s convenient way to get the kids fed so they can start their fun. There’s an ice cream shop, a gift shop that has a big wall of candy, coffee shop, donuts, an arcade, bowling, a quest—so many fun things to do under one roof! The resort is rather pricey, but if you plan ahead, or keep an eye out in your email as a member, you will find times that you can book your rooms quite inexpensively. Saving on the room means more cash in your budget for other activities within the resort or outside of it. My grands having been here multiple times don’t always have to do the quest or the arcade. Sometimes they’re just as happy to enjoy the water park and get an ice cream cone. Overall, if you play your cards (timing) right, the resort offers a big bang value for your buck!”

We highly recommend a visit. The mason jar ice cream combo recipes cost more, but you get to keep the mason jar! They provide a large sink where customers can rinse their mason jar. Fun times with family. Thanks for recognizing our military veterans!”

I used to be raw vegan many years ago and would like to get to at least 50% raw vegan soon. It was the best flavored wrap I’ve ever had- raw vegan, vegan, or Omni. I even got to make two little friends while I waited :) I also got the sea moss smoothie which was good. My only complaint is that it’s so far from my house. For that reason, it’s VERY hard for me to get there as I have a little one. Hopefully the owner will consider doing the vegan pop ups, festivals, and food trucks in Charlotte so more of us have opportunities to enjoy the food.”

“Today was the first for my sons and I ever visiting a cat cafe. We had heard about it a few years back and I've been wanting to go ever since. We live in a small town approximately 4 hours from Charlotte and came down for a few days. This was a must do. It was even better than we expected. The staff were very nice and the facility was really clean. I had a smoothie which was delicious and my sons had iced coffee and hot chocolate. They both loved the drinks. The cats were amazing! We love cats anyway and have five of our own, so we enjoyed the time with these so much! My sons are both teenagers and they loved it every bit as much as I did, so much that my oldest asked if we could go back again tomorrow so we made another reservation....two in fact, so we could stay for 2 hours. This is an absolute MUST for anyone who likes cats.”

“Love this place! Best spot in Concord. Been coming for years because they got me hooked on pinball. $5-10 entry fee and you can play all the games you want! Not good at pinball? You can practice without worrying about losing a dollar every game! Or play any of the other many cool retro games. Good relaxed vibes from the bartenders—treat people like family (likeable family). Solid selection of drinks. They rotate out games and beer options pretty regularly, so always something to come back for. Oh, and they are cool with bringing in food from elsewhere if the vending machine isn’t enough for you.”

“Wow. Happened by chance by this food truck. Gave it a try. OMG. Best authentic Mexican street food! Incredible flavor and huge portions. My wife and I split the special and it was almost too much. The shredded beef was awesome - perfectly seasoned and perfect texture. Green and red hot sauces were spot on. Fresh radish and lime accompaniment were perfect. Soup was piping hot and delicious. Better than any Mexican food we ever had in Texas (where we lived for 40+ years. This place is 10 out of 10!”

A friend of mine was vending so we walked around and checked out many booths. I thought it was an amazing way for small business owners to get more exposure and gave families something to do with the kiddos. My only suggestion for the food shops is to offer more drink options aside from alcohol, beer, and canned sodas or bottled water, some fresh juices or lemonades would have been great!”

“Some of the cashier's have bad attitudes and the Hispanic waitress has a bad attitude she pick and choose who she wants to assist at the table and expects a tip I am big on tipping if the service and food is good. Some days you go and the food is delicious and some days the chicken is salty and dry and not to mention the fish.They need the old cooks and workers back that when the food was delicious.
