“I have heard a lot about this place and thought I'd give it a try. OMG!!! I totally understand what the hype is all about!! They only serve chicken tenders, but they are phenomenally good!! My best advice is to be conservative with your heat level. The hot is VERY hot and your tummy will NOT be your friend the next morning. But I will definitely be going back!!!“
“This is a very nice establishment. Very friendly service. All the staff had a smile on their face. Service was very fast! The food was great. I highly recommend the rotisserie chicken sandwich with the Peruvian corn salad and green salsa and for a sweet tooth get the mini churros. The only thing I wish this place had was a little more variety in the menu, but I realize this is a chicken place..... so that what you get! Also I do wish they had their sanitation score better displayed. The place is very clean but I'm big on the sanitation score! “Excellent, memorable. I am a "fried chicken snob" and this is the best I've had in a long time. And the collards were the real deal too. This is a small take out place with two tables outside. It takes a while for the food to come out because they are a cook to order place. This is likely why the food is so good but plan on waiting about 20 minutes. Or order ahead. The folks were very welcoming. And again... the chicken was excellent.“
“As many times as I’ve passed by this street I never knew this place was here. I had the southern bbq wrap which comes on a sun dried tomato tortilla. I was a little skeptical because of the tortilla but it was actually really good and a pretty decent size at that the apples weren’t bad either.They have a lot of options on their menu that would make you wanna try them all.“
“Fried Chicken is the best we’ve had since moving here 17 years ago, Mac& Cheese was creamy and delicious, Sweet Potato Tots dusted with Cinnamon and Sugar were yummy and the Jalapeño Cornbread was sweet and moist with just the right amount of peppers, service was good and our sweet tea was kept filled. Absolutely no complaints, highly recommend and look forward to our next visit!“
“Slim Chickens has some of the highest quality products I have tasted from a fast food restaurant. Their chicken is fried to perfection, with it being tender and juicy on the inside while remaining respectably crispy on the outside. The fries tasted fresh, desirable texture with the fine crisp, and a chefs quality of saltiness.I'm not sure if the sauces are just a marketing ploy or not, but; they come in non-vacuum sealed individual units, and are refrigerated. This atleast leads me to speculate that the sauces are made fresh, and are not heavily processed with preservatives. They do taste phenomenal compared to other fast food dipping sauces.The atmosphere of the establishment is pretty run of the mill, good music selection for casual dining. Also, well thought out floor planning to maximize seating while respecting foot traffic patterns. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Overall, a great dine in or to-go lunch and dinner experience!“

This is my ultimate favorite.Other Chicken Salads we like from time to time:Olivia's Old South - egg and picklesFancy Nancy - apples, grapes, and pecansKickin Kay Lynne - buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, cheese, jalapenos, and srirachaSandwiches:Turkey Club - this is a great alternative if you do not want chicken salad.Turkey Pesto - My husband's favorite, but it is not currently on the menu.Chicken Salad BLT - pick your favorite chicken salad for a great sandwich!Sides:Broccoli Salad - only issue with this is it is inconsistently made. Sometimes it is very runny, which then soaks a sandwich if you get a takeout order (which happened this last time).Drinks:Strawberry Lemonade - sweet and refreshingDesserts:Iced Cookies - haven't tried any desserts other than the included iced cookies, but they are so good!Definitely recommend Chicken Salad Chick for a great lunch option. “This place looks a bit rough on the exterior. The best food comes out of these spots tbh.They NEVER mess my order up. My last visit I enjoyed the perch/shrimp plate with a half tea/lemonade. SOOOO good. Fried to perfections. Nice beautiful jumbo shrimp. They are not stingy with the amount of fish and shrimp.I recommend this, the double cheeseburger, onion rings, lemon pepper wings are some of the best I've ever had, and the grilled chicken chef salad is on my rotation.I eat here multiple times a month. Many times weekly.Call your order in to pickup but be aware it's little to no room to wait. The little takeout spot is usually packed with no real place to wait long stretches unless you have your car.“
“This review is overdue. I used Uber Eats and ordered lunch from this location on Friday, 03-10-23, but it served as dinner too on a long day. I ordered The Chick, which was a scoop of Jalapeño Holly with a side of grape salad, a small Olivia's Old South, a chocolate marshmallow crispy bar, and a slice of key lime pie. Everything was good. I hadn't had the grape salad in years, & it was as great as I'd remembered.I was using a coupon with Uber Eats & I really got a good bang for my buck with this order. While unpictured, I've since entered the restaurant for a takeout order. The staff was pleasant. Even with a short wait, they checked in with me. Looking forward to returning.“
