“I called to get lunch catered at the last minute for a business meeting of 15 people. The owner was so courteous and was more than happy to accommodate. The lunch meeting was a big success thanks to the bbq! Everyone said the food was fabulous and plentiful! I will definitely contact them again for my catering requests and will also dine at the restaurant with my family. I had grabbed a barbecue sandwich to go once when I was in the area after they initially opened, and it was delicious!“

“Wow. First off service was very southern and hospitable. The waitress made an effort to check in and give suggestions as it was out first time. She even went over the different sauces that were on the table! The food was great as well. Our appetizer was the chicarrons and they were still sizzlings, so extra pints on that. We got a meat bbq platter and the salmon meal. Both had their fare share of salt but I enjoyed the experience of North Carolina bbq. The aesthetic of the restaurant also makes this place memorable. You have the history in the building and nice spot in the center of town.“

“Got the Sandwich + Wing combo for 11.50 and it was a really good deal with one side and drink. The wings were HUGE and I got the spicy sauce and it was was super flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was pretty good but I tried my moms pulled chicken and it was awesome so I'm definitely getting that next time. I also got the wedges and they were good but we also got the hush puppies, banana pudding and Mac n cheese and they were all 9/10+. Definitely coming back soon.“

“Enjoyable experience from service to seating. Nearby the hotel our corporate retreat was booked.Best brisket I had in town. Nicely seasoned, tender and juicy. Very tasty.Fries are excellent. Associates had the founder and also enjoyed.Definitely a recommended spot if you are in the area. Seating outdoors near the water is nice and peaceful.“

“Deliciousness!!! Their wings are everything. We ordered the honey garlic boneless and Galbi wings. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it's a bit pricey for a grab and go meal. However, the boneless wings are HUGE; not your average size. The bone-in wings are hearty as well...Just expensive. The service is cook to order, so I appreciated the freshness of everything. The customer service was great and the person taking the orders made some great recommendations. The setting again is more of a grab and go, although you can eat there it's not anything fancy smancy. It's mouth watering and definitely hits every taste bud, it's just the price is a bit high. I certainly recommend!“

“One of my all time favorite kbbq spots!The food is awesome and the price can’t be beat. The service is always create as well.Only criticism is that the seating could be more comfortable as the booth seats sort of dig into the back of your legs really easily because they’re metal. And it would be really nice if you start taking reservations for larger groups or doing a mobile waitlist so that folks can better prepare for the long wait times.“

“We hired Dan & Debbie to cater our sons graduation party for 60 people! The food arrived on time, hot and tasted amazing!!! It was a hit and all the brisket, turkey & chicken wing went fast! We ordered enough, but people went back for 2nd & 3rds! Banana pudding was the “excellent” cherry on top! They are our favorite BBQ place in town, especially the Brisket!!!“

“We LOVE Texas Road House but stopped going because it is so noisy you can't hear yourself talk. Tried it today for lunch (got there when they first opened) and it was AMAZING! Mary was our waitress and if I could give her 50 stars I would. She was that good and in fact, she was the best waitress we have EVER had and made the whole experience perfect! The steaks were absolutely perfect as were the sides. I just wish they had a closed off area for people who hate the loud music.“

“Great people drove 70 miles to try and was very satisfied with the food. Smoked fresh daily and also they have a blazing wing challenge that was like a volcano erupting on your pallet. But hey concord it! Got my shirt and will be back to visit. Should be a place you visit soon before everyone finds out about it and you can't get in the door.“

“Jodi served me and my mom at the bar. I am visiting from New Jersey and I gotta say her service made the whole experience incredible. She suggested at the end of our meal a banana pudding moonshine that was Incredible. If you don’t have room for dessert but want something sweet I would 100% recommend going with that. Jodi was so incredibly sweet and knowledgeable that she made me want to come back again!!“

“Awesome and smoky chopped pork bbq with eastern vinegar sauce. The bbq beans were also fantastic and I loved that they have bacon! We will definitely be ordering our meats in bulk from here and look forward to trying everything on the menu! Great customer service too! Keep up the good work!“

“Great steakhouse, great service. We had a great waitress today,sweet girl and this was at lunch today.I think my dad may have scared her for making a mistake on the bill,young people like her have a lot of stress these days. Please don't fire her for a little mistake like that.we had a great waitress today but our steak's were tough to eat. They weren't what what the waitress put on the bill. The kitchen mad the mistake not her . She was sweet as she could be.“

“Not just a food truck! The restaurant is in Hemby Bridge. Wish I had known about it when it was in downtown Monroe.Stopped by to try it out last evening. By far the best BBQ and ribs I've had in NC. I had pulled pork and ribs, tater salad and slaw. The meat was cooked to perfection, moist and tender. The sweet sauce is a perfect compliment to the meat though it doesn't really need sauce. The tater salad was deliciously to die for, wish I could make it like that. The slaw she makes her own mayo based mixture and it is right tasty as well. Portions are generous...think generous not glutton lol. Owners were there and were really personable outgoing folks. I will be back soon and will make another review on whatever I eat then. Note..I did not make a happy plate took some home. The picture of my plate there is pulled pork under those ribs.“

“This place is the best BBQ joint I’ve been to in the Charlotte area. The food and service are next level. And they keep a beer trough full of ice cold beer. I’ve lived in Texas for the last 5 years, and can honestly say this place beats out any Texas BBQ joint I went to during that time.“

“Had lunch here and it was a pleasant experience. Being a Tuesday it was a ribs special day. You can buy individual ribs (1 bone) for a discounted price. I had a hard time deciding what to get as the menu was enticing and I wanted to try it all. The people at the counter were helpful and once I placed my order it was just a few minutes before it was ready. They have about 4 BBQ sauces that you can choose from and there is a menu board that describes the differences between them. I enjoyed the chicken and ribs. I had the greens and mac n cheese on the side - not my favorites. I also had a taste of the brisket - excellent!!“

“Pulled pork dinner with baked mac/cheese and potato salad. Absolutely amazing sides and bbq. Went back and bought 2 bottles of the sauce as soon as i had my first bite. Just be prepared to be sad whenever you get to your last bite and realize its all “
