He ordered the Swiss mushroom with Tatar tots and had the Italian Stallion meatball sub with fries. The meatballs and sauce was so delicious. Those meatballs was made with love . “By far the best Thai/Lao restaurant I've ever been to. Service was amazing, everything was clean, and we only waited for food max 15 minutes before It came out tok us. Amazing Curry, Larb, and Thai tea. Need to try the Khao Piek Sen next (like a thick chicken noodle soup with rice starch noodles). “Came in with the family and was glad I did. Everything was exceptional from start to finish. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile from Zoe who made sure we were seated promptly. She even had provided friendly conversation on the way to our table.

Once seated we were served by Jeremaine who gave great recommendations on what to order and was very friendly during our meal. Food came out quick and drink stayed full throughout the whole experience. Thank you Zoe and Jeremaine for helping make our experience.”

Id like to call my self a Chinese food connoisseur and this place is how all shops should be.Ive tried a lot of Chinese places and Everywhere else over cooks there food or the quality is horrible like the places in Troutman or Salisbury and they over charge but Peking kitchen tops them all and I hope they know it. Prices are fair and food doesn’t disappoint”

Unfortunately, they only take Apple pay. Darius, the awesome guy who directs traffic during lunch, took care of my meal for me. I was/am beyond grateful. They were even giving out flowers yesterday and I got a cute little bouquet. Love this place!”

“I’m pretty sure it is under new management. Whenever I stop there for breakfast to get my liver mush, egg, cheese, slice of tomato on a bun, it is always delicious. Service is fast, everyone behind the counter is always friendly even when they are busy. On Wednesdays they offer choices of fish sandwich or fish combo plates that are reasonably priced and will satisfy your appetite. I definitely recommend if you are in the area.”

“Being from California, I have been searching the entire East Coast for a Mexican food restaurant that actually knows how to cook REAL Mexican food, it took me five years but I finally found La Familia here in Statesville and they DO NOT DISAPPOINT! Hands down, the best Mexican food I’ve had since moving from California (THE BEST BY FAR!) And to top it off, their prices are VERY reasonable! My son and I both got entire meals, drinks, and sides of rice and beans for $21!! They gained a new loyal customer today!! I’ll be back two or three times a week, really, it’s that good!!”

The place is brightly lit up like a summer day in Florida, with no decor and no paper towels in the bathroom. But the biggest drawback is a tip system that does not allow a custom tip. If I’m picking up food the minimum percentage is 15%. Yes I could have said no tip but don’t mind giving a couple dollars for takeout, but not minimum 15%. If the interior was more welcoming I’d have dined it.

But the food was really good!”

The chair leg broke and the gentleman fell on the floor. The only people to check on him were the other patrons. No one came to see if he was hurt or the see if he needed another chair...NOTHING!! The waitress came by to give them their bill and asked how he was and that was it. I was upset for the gentleman and the family. They handled the situation with grace. If a family is in the customer service industry, take care of your customers.”

The food is good. We have a pretty big family of picky eaters, but they never complain about Chinese when we get it from here.

There is no dine-in seating; this restaurant is currently take-out only. Some seats while you wait, but otherwise bring it home.

“This is tucked inside Ingles Supermarket, so that is the only time I come here - when I’m shopping. No worries though, I get stellar service no matter what. Their little kiosk/booth is spotless and the workers are always polite and full of smiles. I’ve never had a bad drink here. Always made quickly and to perfection. I personally have never had it and I'm extremely picky when it comes to pizza. It's one of my favorite foods. Well he suggested I try it because he remembers loving it over a decade ago. So I agreed and got a simple pepperoni pizza and then drove 15 mins home. Only cost $11.99 plus tax for a 12" Pizza which is cheapest pizza I've ever purchased. I had to rewarm it which made me hesitant on the quality. I was totally wrong. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER EATEN. First purchase for me was yesterday and today I went out and bought 2 more. Great dough, sauce, cheese the works. I will forever be a Hunt Brothers Pizza only..”

“I love Dunkin Donuts Coffee…I just don’t like the Dunkin on Turnersburg Road! My husband walked into Dunkin a couple of days ago because he know how much I love their coffee and thought he’d bring me a cup. He told the young girl behind the counter what he wanted. She replied “I can’t sell it to you. You have to order on the app!” Mind you now, my husband has an old fashioned flip phone and said I don’t know anything about using an app. Can you please just get me a coffee? She moved away and came back with her supervisor who repeated the same thing. My husband stood there for a good while during this exchange and said to them…isn’t this a bit ridiculous? The both of you stood here, wasted a whole lot of time telling me you can’t sell me a cup of coffee when you could have instead just made the coffee and be done with it! How idiotic is this???”

“The food was absolutely delicious! The ambience is amazing and welcoming. Our server, Mercedes, was so helpful, patient and upbeat. She was very attentive. Our food came out hot and fast. Our only complaint was the lack of available silverware. Somehow they ran out of silverware. Many guests had that complaint during our visit. Sounds like management needs to buy less pictures for the walls and more silverware. Also please beware that it is also a $2.99 charge for each game that you play on the kiosk while waiting for your food. It is not posted on the kiosk or before starting the game. It just shows up on your bill. Otherwise, I recommend this restaurant location. The staff was nice and helpful throughout.”
