“One of my favorite spots in the city. Consistently amazing food ☺️This time we got the duck rolls, crab fried rice, and karee pu noodles. All delicious and worth a try! The crab in the rice & noodles were sooo good. My all time favorite dish has to be the koong karee (seriously recommend trying this). There isn’t an item on the menu I haven’t enjoyed. 10/10 grab a resy and grab some delicious Thai food “
“Loved my entire meal! We ordered the crying tiger (highly recommend), the crispy fries whole branzino with chu Chee curry, and the chicken wings. I cannot stress enough how truly tasty every dish was. Cannot wait to come back with more friends so we can try more dishes because I cannot NOT reorder these dishes.“
“Genuine spicy Southern Thai food - they don't tone it down for westerners. Some dishes have an American/fusion twist like steak krapao but they were still really good. The sator (stink bean) with prawn was good and authentic! Service was friendly and although most of the reviews are 5* because they offer you a discount for leaving one, mine is genuine and I'm writing it after my visit...“
“I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch at this restaurant. The ambiance was nice and comfortable and the food was very delicious. I had the fried dumpling, calamari, salmon salad and a pina colada which were all very delicious. I also had the chocolate fried ice cream because they were out of the vanilla flavor and that was tasty. I felt that the portion size of the salad and fried ice cream was a bit small but they were both delicious. The service/hospitality was great as well. Our waitress kept checking in with our table and answered all of our questions regarding the menu.“
“The menu is the most delicious and authentic of Thai menus out there. I mean the sausages are all HOMEMADE! The best food by the best chef, Chuck. He is already a famous private chef and now you will be spoiled any day of the week! Just go and see for yourself or get delivery!“
“If you're ever in the area and have the opportunity, I highly recommend visiting this amazing Thai restaurant. The food is consistently exceptional, with authentic flavors that transport you straight to Thailand. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries, flavorful pad Thai, or refreshing papaya salad, there's something here to satisfy everyone. Don't miss out on this culinary gem—just go if you get the chance!“
“Stopped by a few weeks after opening. The food was excellent. Me and my boys ordered a little bit of everything. Drunken noodle was great. Duck was great. Drinks were nice looking but I don't remember what I had so, I'll try it again. Wasn't super enthused on that front but definitely a fire spot to check out. Date night gem .“
“In NYC for a few days and visited OBAO - and couldn't recommend any higher. Our waiter, Beer was excellent - running us through the menu and giving us recommendations (two of which we took up).I highly recommend the short rib massamam which was recommended to me. A favourite of mine, OBAOs was hands down the best Massamam I've tried.Massive shout out again to Beer - for going above and beyond to making our visit memorable.“
“Really love their service. Staff are really nice. Foods are delicious. Had a fantastic dining experience at this Thai restaurant! The Tom Yum soup was bursting with flavor, and the Massaman Curry was rich and comforting. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Will definitely be coming back“
“I had heard many praises of Fish Cheeks, so we made it our first stop in NYC last summer. We overlapped with happy hour so were able to get cheaper oysters and cocktails. The restaurant was bustling at 5pm on a Wednesday. The free shrimp crackers were tasty. The oysters were $18 for a dozen for happy hour. The oysters were not the best I've had, but they were decent and I enjoyed the Vietnamese toppings. The tongue and cheek cocktail was $11, normally $17. It was quite strong and had a nice lychee flavor. Definitely worth it for the happy hour price. The shrimp in 3 crab sauce was like a ceviche with the flavors of a spring roll. It was good but lacking some dimension. It was mostly sour, spicy, and soft, but could've used some crunch and savory. The calamari was mid, pretty thick breading and sweet sauce. The Zabb wings had a tangy powdered seasoning. They were pretty good but not amazing. The Prawn Karee had tasty gravy sauce. The prawns were big but there were 3 and they were a bit overcooked. The sauce was better than the prawns. The pork belly krapow had a good crispy texture. It was maybe a bit too salty, but overall I did like this dish. The steamed fish had a similar seasoning to the shrimp in 3 crab sauce. It was quite acidic -- could be more savory and spicy for my tastes. The fish was tender.Overall, I enjoyed trying a variety of dishes. The happy hour menu is worth it. Most of the dishes felt a bit one dimensional in flavor and could've packed a stronger punch, but I'm also just not a big fan of these types of flavors in general. I was glad most of it was not overly sweet, though! The restaurant is very pleasant and the service is good.“
“My new favorite New York restaurant! Had the Similian Curry and it was fantastic. Went back a few days later and got the clay pot and it was even better. We sat at the bar and watched the show of the mixologist crafting drinks and having fun. Fantastic experience.“
“Had a very good meal at Thep Thai. Came here on a sunday afternoon, there was no wait, and our waitress (Gift) was very attentive and checked in often even though we sat in a back corner outside. The food was also amazing, some of the best Thai food we had in UES. Definitely would recommend.“
“Step into a dazzling Siam setting right here on the Upper West Side! Whether you’re a Thai cuisine enthusiast or new to the flavors of Thailand, Sala Thai is your go-to neighborhood spot for an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant boasts a captivating interior with a welcoming bar up front and a charming dining room upstairs. Adorned with gold light fixtures, comfortable leather chairs, and vibrant murals on the walls, every corner exudes warmth and elegance. Sala Thai offers a perfect blend of ambiance and cuisine for a relaxed yet delightful evening. We tried the lemongrass chicken, it was a nice presentation and the chicken is so flavorful. The Chilean Sea Bass in Aromatic Coconut Milk is also very good. A divine creation of pan-roasted sea bass, bunashimeji mushrooms, and asparagus served with a luscious coconut bisque. I was also blown away by golden puff, It was perfectly seasoned, this spot offers a perfect blend of ambience and cuisine for a relaxed yet delightful evening.Featured⤵️- Prawn Papaya Salad- Crepe Dumpling- Kang Kao Peuak- Gai yang- Chilean Sea Bass- Golden Puff- Kao Tom mud- Mango sunrise- Bluefly Lemonade“
“Bangkok Supper Club is undeniably the best Thai restaurant in NYC. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a cozy and warm atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The host's warm welcome adds to the inviting ambiance, making you feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food--it's simply outstanding. I highly recommend trying the Lin Yang (beef tongue) grilled charcoal, a dish that bursts with flavor and tenderness. Another must-try is the octopus with fried onion, a delightful combination of textures and tastes that leave a lasting impression. What truly sets Bangkok Supper Club apart, though, is the exceptional service. I can confidently say it's the best I've ever experienced. The servers Pat are attentive, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Overall, Bangkok Supper Club is a gem in NYC's culinary scene, offering not just incredible food but also a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service that make every visit a delight.“
“The ambiance here is so warm, bright, and inviting! The staff here is very friendly and attentive. The food here is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced too compared to other Thai spots. This place is large enough for small to large groups; great for birthday dinners with a lot of people.“
“Food overall was delicious, I tried one of the cocktails was also well made and tasty. Was a little noisy but expected from a popular restaurant. Service was great and always ask if we are good with everything or if we needed anything. A must try when in time square.“
“I ordered takeout through DoorDash and it was amazing! As someone who is Thai, it can be challenging to find restaurants that cook authentic Thai food. I brought my family to New York and I want to try Thai restaurants near our hotel. Thai Villa restaurant food was so delicious.“
“amazing food. I recommend all my friends here. What I had the last time I went... App - Curry Puff - Thai dumpling Entree - Red curry beef - Khao soi nua Drink - Thai ice tea - Pi-lin (Mocktail) Dessert - Banana sticky rice You HAVE to try this place.“
“Quaint little spot serving authentic Thai cuisine. Rode 70 miles from Dyker Heights & decided to grab an evening bite & drink.Had the Khao Soi Chiang Mai as main dish. Coconut shrimp is phenomenal appetizer. The hot sake went well with the curry flavors. I would have gotten the bottled beer but $8 is such a waste, Sake it is.Indoor is tight & cozy. Outdoor is a bit much traffic. Would return again to try the duck & other curry flavors ??“
“Love love Wondee Siam! It's now my go-to spot for satisfying my cravings for delicious Thai cuisine. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed!“
“I've never had Malaysian food and this restaurant definitely set the bar high for future Malaysian meals! Everything was so good and the portion size is very good. Got three entrees and an appetizer for three people and it was more than enough. My favorite dish was the curry laksa soup! The Thai iced tea is delicious and comes in a very fun cup! I gave this place four stars though because of the service. We had a reservation for 8pm and was not seated until 8:25pm. Seems like this is pretty common if you read other reviews so definitely expect a wait.“
“This place is such a gem. I went with friends but it would also be a great first date spots with only 30 seats (plus another 8 at the bar) - started with the Kanom Jeeb Pak and Kanom Jeeb dumplings which were both delicious and my friends and I shared the rib eye which was unbelievably flavorful and cooked to perfection along with the pad thai (which they made veggie for my friend who doesn’t eat meat) and the pad see ew. The desserts can’t be missed (we tried all three) and the service was standout. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: They were able to adapt dishes to make them vegetarian and also had a number of veggie options“
“We stopped by for brunch at peak hours without a reservation and the wait was only 30 min for 4 people. First of all, the Thai Tea French Toast ($15) is an absolute MUST HAVE. It was a unanimous favorite- the salted condensed milk and Thai Tea butter are heavenly. The stuffed cabbage ($25) was also a great choice because of the sauce. The phat see ew and phat Thai ($25 for beef, $24 for chicken) were solid choices, but I had expected a larger portion for that price. The disco fries ($13) and roti ($12) were okay. For drinks, we shared a punch bowl, which was STRONG and definitely enough for 4-6 people. Some dishes had a long wait and I did think the cost was high for the sizes, but I would still recommend coming at least for the French toast!“
“The food was delicious!!!! A friend told me that it would be very spicy, but I didn’t find it to be so. (Definitely had a zip to it but not too extreme) Service was attentive and pleasant. The only downside was the seating. The chairs were more like elementary school short stools. Quite uncomfortable, but I’d definitely go back just for the food!“
“Some of the best massaman curry I've ever had! The cocktails were also fantastic, and the restaurant space itself was really lovely with lots of plants. The menu is sophisticated and everything looked delicious. Would definitely come back.“
“Authentic flavors and so delicious. The pad Thai was the perfect amount of sauce and so flavorful. I loved it!!!! Noodles were soft n chewy at the same time. Fresh crunchy vegetables. Clean ambiance and very friendly man working here!! Absolutely amazing and great prices.“
“The food at Somtum Der was really good. My favorite dish was the Larb Moo salad, which was flavorful and paired nicely with a side of white rice. I also had the Sa Poak Kai Tod Der, which was also good. I thought the chicken could have had more flavor on its own but it was great paired with the sauce it came with. Their menu has a really good lunch special deal that I think would definitely be worth coming back to try. Our server was great and very attentive. We sat in the booths in the back which were a bit snug but the overall ambiance was nice.“
“Everything about this place is excellent. I had the chicken satay and the beef pad see ew and all I can say is, don’t be afraid to try them out, you will not regret it!To drink I ordered the Lychee-plum and if you like sweet drinks, I can assure you will love this one as much as I did.“
“I ordered for delivery to a hotel downtown. Thai iced coffee, pad Thai chicken, fried shrimp roll and beef satay. Good was decent. Beef was a bit tough, the chicken was overcooked and they gave me tea instead of coffee. Also wish they would have bright me some utensils as I told them we are staying a a hotel. I would try them again at the restaurant to see if it’s better.Oh and the tea was half spilled, but that can happen in delivery. Maybe they can take a bit better care in how they pack.“
“One of my favorite cheap eats in Manhattan. I cannot explain how much I love this place. You go up to the counter to order and the food is ready within 5 minutes and served directly to your small table. And even though the restaurant itself is tiny, there always seems to be an open seat as people eat and leave very quickly. I ordered the Fried Chicken Rice and it was delicious!! Although there isn't a lot of chicken, the fried bits are fried to perfection as it isn't too oily and full of flavor. I especially liked dipping it into the sour and spicy sauce which elevated the chicken. The rice is also to die for as it is seeped with chicken broth, you can just eat this alone without anything else. Also, the soup is incredible as I love how much white pepper they put into the broth, the flavors are so incredibly intense. I love ME Chicken Rice. Probably top 10 favorite eats in NYC!“
“I don't know if it's a hidden gem or just a gem in the Financial district. My husband, mother in law and I had dinner here last night, and everything was fabulous. The waiter was very accommodating, as we requested hot water instead of regular cold water because of my mother in law, they were very nice and provided a beautiful teapot with small tea cups, such a cute detail! For food we shared the appetizer platter, coconut soup and a pad Thai. The food was incredible, so flavorful! The place itself is beautiful, we loved the decorations and the choice of cutlery and dishes. One can clearly notice that a lot of thought went into creating this place. I'd recommend it if you're in this area of town. 10/10“
“Ok, so WOW! At first entrance I was already transported to a Lunar New Year celebration, with the pronounced decor, and warmly invited by the friendliness of the staff. I was meeting a dear friend (snd former coworker) of mine for a long overdue catching up of years since last we chatted.I’m already a big fan of Thai cuisine, so it was just a matter of deciding on the dish that was speaking to me most. While we waited, I had an incredible MOJITO MOCKTAIL, which was perfect for the weather and the overall vibe of the day. We added on two orders of the KRA-POW PUFFS and those were simply divine! I do believe it was my first time having those and I could not have been more indulged. I actually wish I had some right now, thinking about it.For my main course, I had the SEAFOOD PAD KEE MAO…! I am grinning like a newlywed, that dish was so amazingly delicious! I absolutely, unapologetically, emphatically recommend it, y’all hear me?! It goes without saying that I will be back! Do your self a favor and way to V{IV} in Hell’s Kitchen. When you do, tell them Donny sent you. If you happen to see me there, you know what to do!“
“I have been coming to this establishment since it was legit a box on the block. If you walked too fast you'd miss it...and I'm so excited and impressed on how they've transformed to become such edgy, dateworthy and "Instagrammable" sit down dining restaurant.Prices & Food: very reasonable, includes lunch time specials that won't dent the pockets. I haven't had all of the dishes on the menu but the ones that I have had I enjoyed. I ❤️ the fact that they stay true to their roots regarding heat levels. They don't dummy it down for us NYers..you came there remember! On the flip..they should stay true to their roots and not serve fried chicken wings the way we do up here. That was a miss ?Cleanliness: ? they nailed it! The bathroom decor is something I'd be inspired to copy and VERY clean, smells good, etc. I hold a sanitation certificate so EVERYWHERE I go I'm looking in corners, looking at the ceiling, under the tables..I need to know my area is clean to enjoy my food! 5stars!Service: No complaints. Each server has been attentive and patient; never really hovering to rush me and my party out so much appreciated ?I would very much recommend coming here. Nice for a solo date or bring a party. The place is inviting and seats about 40 people in total I believe. Warm months brings outside dining, never done it, but it looks ?Wheelchair accessibility: Establishment provides outdoor dining and has a ramp! Thoughtful!“
“A cute little Thai Find which has amazing food . I think there is something in the NYC air! They have very limited seating but offer a huge menu !We tried their dumpling soup which was really tasty and the dumplings were so soft and good !Also had the Thai Basil Minced Chicken with rice , Warning ! It’s spicy but if you can handle the heat it’s delicious ?!And we ordered a Drunken Noodle which again was delicious, the portions are a little less if you come from outside NYC but the food is 10 times better .Recommended for great food !“
“Decent Thai spot in Hells Kitchen. I enjoyed the small intimate atmosphere and service was friendly. Food wise it was ok but nothing really stood out and the flavors didn’t really pop as much I’d hoped they would based on some of the other reviews on here.“
“We dined in as a group of five and shared four main dishes — the Lobster Pad Thai and Brussel sprouts were phenomenal! I also ordered the Sway Wayla cocktail which was amazing! The restaurant is quite cosy and small but there are lots of coat hangers around.“
“Order on the kiosk. Wait for your number to be called. Chicken cooked nicely. Ginger rice is ok. The soup on the side is a win win. Most side soups are boring. This soup taste fresh and nicely seasoned. The side spicy tamarind sauce for me is the best part!! Been here a few times. Mix chicken rice for $10.“
“Food and drink is great - authentic northern Thai food - duck isn’t greasy, the chicken liver & gizzards is to die for - everything is perfectly seasoned & the best part they made me my favorite salad - spicy cucumber salad which isn’t on the menu - will be going back for some more great eats!“
“The service was a little slow but we had the whole restaurant to ourselves so no complaints - it was basically a quiet little oasis in the middle of this noisy city. Half of the menu is similar to the one at May Kaidee if you're familiar with that place, the other half is more "fruitarian" although I don't think they define fruitarian as a diet purely based on fruit. The influence is Thai-Indian. Nothing was overly oily or salty which is just what I hope for when I eat out. Portions could be slightly bigger. I'll be back to try more things!“
“I am Dutch, so I have been spoiled with a lot of good Indonesian food back home. This restaurant is authentic, very good food. I recommend the place. The bathrooms are dirty though. Those should be cleaned many times a day ( don’t you know?)“
“If you are craving for chicken, there is no place better than three roosters. I know you all had chicken before unless you’re a vegan, this is the best chicken I ever had in my life and that is saying a lot. Good amount of chicken with rices as they aren’t stingy with the meat. Price is a a bit pricy but that is all midtown pricing these days. I’ve had this place 3 times this week alone and I’m still loving it. If you’re around midtown and craving chicken and rice, you can’t go wrong.“
“Delicious Thai food. Classic dishes. Vegan. Lovely Ms May Kaidee cooks your food!! She is a cookbook author, chef, dancer, noted restaurateur in Thailand. Interior is decorated with Thai symbols. Great food. I had noodles and vegetables with an amazing sauce. Mango desert with coconut sauce and yummy rice, fantastic!!! Joe might be your waiter and is kind and professional. Such a wonderful place!!!“
“It’s all about the prawns. Giant, jumbo sized almost as big as a lobster. Buttery, rich, huge grilled prawns.I’ve also had and can recommend:- larb with fried duck skin- rib eye- soft shell crab curryBut again it’s the giant prawn that steals the show. They even have a giant blue prawn in the back of the restaurant hanging from the ceiling. It’s a sign. Get the prawns.“
“Definitely not your average Thai restaurant. The whole restaurant feels like a one-man passion project, and I mean that in the most earnest way. Don't go in expecting the dishes to be whipped up instantly, but the creative food and friendly service is absolutely worth the wait.“
“What a nice and cozy atmosphere in Little Tiffin! a big plus is that it's located directly at the subway station, so you can just hop in after work and get some foot for dinner. The food is super delicious and fresh. We had Pad See Ew, Gang Massaman and Khanoom Jeeb Pak (like Gyoza, see Photo) and we recommend all of it. The service is very friendly and we will definitely be coming back!“
“The basil chicken over rice was simply amazing. The pad see ew was okay. It lacked a bit of flavor and dimension that I often find at other Thai restaurants. However, the prices are great. The portions are a bit small; so it would be nice if they had optional larger sizes for a slightly higher price?I’d certainly recommend giving Terra Thai a visit. There’s not much indoor seating besides a small makeshift counter with stools. They are definitely a takeout place. The staff and owner is very friendly. I’m sure I’ll be back for the basil chicken over rice.“
“A tiny 5 table restaurant with a quaint calming ambiance. Their spice levels are lesser than hole in the wall thai restaurants. So you might want to up the spice if that’s what you’re expecting. The papaya salad is super refreshing - good palate cleanser for the oil rich food too. Tried drunken noodles, tom yum fried rice, masaman curry - all great.“
“The service attitude is very good. She kept asking us if it suits our taste. I think it is very considerate. The lady has a very good service attitude. She helped us take photos and gave guidance. The food is delicious. I recommend the Pad Thai the most.“
“I made a reservation as I know it can get packed. We got seated right away and multiple servers were available and checked on us constantly (without being annoying). I really enjoyed the food. The flavors were perfect! Will definitely return!“
“Amazing place with amazing staff and food, would recommend 100% !! Fav dish is salmon triple taste ????? you can bring your own drink too!Vegetarian options: They make every dis vegetarian if you ask for it?Parking: Free parking lot was very convenientKid-friendliness: They have high chairs !“
