We did have to wait a little before getting helped bc each group pretty much gets a little history of where the place started, and there's only one person who speak to the customers. “I ordered catering for my birthday event last weekend and the food was amazing! I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Whether it’s Brunch or dinner, the food never disappoints! Hence why I thought it was a good idea to ask for them to cater for my bday! Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! I also ordered catering from here back in February for my galentines party and the food was also a success during that time. “Great meal and overall time here! Our server was super nice and friendly/helpful he really guided us through the menu and gave some great suggestions. The restaurant itself is super nice and cozy while being spacious, but oh man the food is unreal. We had the meatballs (so big and flavorful and smothered in sauce), the mushroom pizza which was loaded with mushrooms, super flavorful and unique. Also got the vodka pizza which was really great, we got extra vodka sauce on the side so we could really drown it and loved it. My friend got the gluten free and she said it's the first gluten free bread she's had that actually tastes like real bread and loved it.“

“I am glad I saw their delivery van when I was driving by. I did a Uturn and hoped I stumbled on a yummy bakery. This place is gem. Small space for dining in so I decided to order a cappuccino and almond croissant to go and drive to a nearby park. I also got a container of their poppyseed hamantaschen cookies. Everything was top notch and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. First authentic croissant I have had in recent memory. I really appreciate that the baked goods were flavorful and not sugary. “***4 1/2 stars**I'm not sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus.I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye.The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors.In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front.The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.“

“In 2023 we had our daughter design our wedding cake. We went to many places and some couldn’t design it the way that it was in the sketchbook. They wanted to take off a tier or change the flowers for fake flowers. When we came to Creations we not only found the perfect flavors but they said they could make it the way it was sketched out. They asked for the colors I wanted and the type of wedding to get a sense of what we wanted. Let me tell you, we wren’t disappointed. It was as if the cake came to life. “This is a wonderful French bakery with truly authentic French breads and pastries. I got a couple of loaves of fig and walnut bread that were discounted, and almond croissant that another customer convinced me to get, a turkey Brie and apple sandwich and I had actually ordered two croissants but for some reason they didn’t make it in my bag. I think there was a misunderstanding with the other customer; no matter, an excuse to return! The sandwich bread (a mini French baguette) was surprisingly crisp on the outside and didn’t at all get soft when I returned home 1.5 hrs later to enjoy it. Everything just looks and smells good. I look forward to returning.“

“My 1st time here as I heard about it from my sister in North Carolina so when I drive by I had to stop in. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady who was so knowledgeable in all the different flavors and as a novice myself she helped me to decide on the pumpkin spice ( limited edition) and the strawberry bundle cake! “Authentic Greek food down to the water. Super professional Gyros. Everything was delicious and Fresh. I tried a chicken Gyro and a Lamb Gyro. Both were the best i’ve ever had. The meat was seasoned perfect and tender. Gyros were filled to the max and were very filling with tzatziki sauce, lettuce , tomato , onion and even some French fries. I also had fried Lobster claws with a Remoulade sauce over cabbage slaw which was absolutely phenomenal and a chicken Souvlaki platter which was just as good as everything else. I didn’t make it to dessert but they had plenty of options from salads , Gyros, Greek platters and even flatbreads. I will definitely be back to try other things. You walk in and aside from the squad of friendly workers at both main counters you'll first encounter the amazing breads (and treats). All the shapes, styles and sizes your carb-loving heart desires will be found on one of these racks. Expertly made... dense, sturdy, flavorful, with a mighty crust (that'll give your Fixodent a workout!). Take a few steps towards the 'back' and now you're at the deli and it's overflowing with options. Each item looks bewitching and alluring and before you can even finish saying, "A pound of..." - somehow it's already sliced and bagged and the guy is waiting on the next item you need. (Maybe it's that luscious square of eggplant parm that they've intentionally left "posed" on top of the spatula or the Italian hot dog platter or that mountain of sauteed broccoli rabe that you know it's going to have that perfect 'bite'.) And as soon as you get home you immediately start crafting what's to be a most perfect sandwich with their seeded semolina, fresh ball of mootz (so creamy and delectable), and a few other odds-and-ends you snagged. “I visit NJ often and come to taskin for most of my simits and poğaça.So far its the highest quality product I've seen in terms of simit and poğaça.One thing I will note is that the simit is not traditional simit, it has a more fluffy taste and is sweeter then the normal simit. It's still very good but for those who are simit elitist might think otherwise.“

“I’ve been a customer of Gandom Bakery for a few years. They offer variety of delicious Persian breads, their Sangak bread is just the best.I always buy 10 Sangak (you have to call and order in advance) and save in freezer. Warm up a couple of slices in the morning and it goes nicely with Feta cheese, walnuts and Persian tea. They also sell all sorts of items required for a Persian kitchen, including spices, nuts, dried herb, pickles, Persian tea, you name it. Great customer service and hospitality too. They always deliver high quality of products with reasonable prices. Highly recommend.“

“My mom got me a gift certificate for Christmas to do a class at Jersey Artisan. We chose the mozzarella class. It was so fun! The instructor was informative and clear. The other employees were helpful keeping an eye on everyone to make sure they were following along. They provided snacks which were delicious: pizza, cheese, fresh bread, etc. BYOB. “Very charming little coffee spot! Super chill atmosphere and relaxed. Quiet for days that you want 'work from home' but not be stuck at home. There is plenty of parking with a few municipal lots and street parking as well. We did ceramic painting and there are plenty of options of items you can paint although we just stuck with mugs. I think there is a time limit when you make the reservations for the painting but it was a quiet day and they let us take our time. It is a neat little activity to do on a rainy day with friends and a cute coffee spot if you want a change from dunkin/starbucks in the area.“

“Just had the best experience with ladyfingers! I had a birthday party for my daughter and they provided a two tier cake and a coffee bar. Lauren was very responsive from start to finish. I was able to pick the flavors and filings for each tier off their long list of options. I didn’t have much time to look for a cake design so just sent over a photo of a cake that I quickly googled. They were able to create it, and even better, they added a customized cake topper with my daughter’s name. They also delivered it to the venue which was very important to me since I didn’t want to deal with picking up a big cake from a bakery and making sure it didn’t get ruined during an already busy day. At the party they provided us with a “coffee bar” serving up a variety of flavored hot and iced coffee & chai. The guests loved this! Many drove from far so a coffee option was exactly what the needed upon arrival. The onsite team was great, arrived early to setup, and went above and beyond by lending me a cake stand and having ice delivered for us when we were unable to get any because it happened to be sold out everywhere near by.
