“Fantastic meal and fantastic overall experience sitting at the chefs counter. Highly recommend the Wagyu and uni supplements as well as the abalone extra course. For some reason they gave us our check well before we finished eating our final course. There wasn't another party waiting for our seats so it was a bit strange to be rushed“
“Truly outstanding meal envisioned by mastermind Raymond, accompanied by stellar drinks crafted by Jack, and world class service by Christine. the Shrimp and grits with langoustine was one of the best bites I've had in recent memory. Cannot wait to go back.“
“Totally recommended!! As a Galician, I confirm that it is a very good option to drink good beer (Estrella Galicia) accompanied by the best tapas in the city!! And in line with the rest of the comments... I very much agree with the good rating of the gin and tonics!!“
“Food here is cooked absolutely right! State of the art. From starters to main course all is superb! Price is perfect. Great combination for a perfect night out. Lobster is tasty and well prepared. Alaskan Cod is amazing. For business or date. Look forward to being back!“
“Amazing Indian food in a relaxing and chic setting. Great price for a Michelin star restaurant and service is fantastic. My favorites were the dosa and the mung beans. The squash kurma was a bit bland compared to the other dishes. The cocktails were also incredible.“
“Everyone in NYC raves about Tonchin, and it's definitely worth a try. It's super popular so make sure you make a reservation. The space itself is fairly large and comfortable. The Momo mocktail ($12) was sweet and refreshing. As for food, I went for the Tonchin Classic Tokyo Tonkotsu ($21). It was delicious, with a rich and savory broth and perfectly jammy egg. However, I have had better value elsewhere with more toppings, meat, etc.“
“Divine food!! Such a cute space too and the chef and waiter were so lovely to us. We got the whole room to ourselves as we were eating at 5pm on a Monday but some of the best food we have had in New York. The sashimi was a knock out and cannot wait to go back. The best dish was by FAR the lamb kofta and the waiter was so good to tell us to only get one ie not add another lamb kofta ball so we had one each“
“What a gem we just found! I made a reservation at Stake Frites last minute on a whim, and am so glad I did. At first we sat at a high table but the place is tight, even for NY standards, so I asked the hostess if we could sit at the bar, that was perfect. Juan, the bartender, was the best! He makes the best cocktails and was really nice. The whole staff is great! Food was good, though my husband’s steak chateaubriand wasn’t served rare as he requested. We’ll definitely be back and try other things on the menu. My only complaint would be the very tight space but I heard they may be expanding so that might change.“
“OMG! I love this place. I am craving it right now as I write this review.Food:If I could live off of Adjaruli Khachapuri I would. A traditional dish that is open-faced khachapuri with a blended cheese, topped with raw egg. The egg is mixed into the cheese tableside. SOOOO GOOOOD!!!! It was so good that I had one as an appetizer and one for dinner. I also enjoyed Mushroom Khinkali (Georgian Dumplings) - another delicious dish. Lastly, I had one of their spreads - Spinach Pkhali: Spinach, walnut paste, onion, garlic, coriander and topped with Pomegranate Seeds. Super fresh and delicious.Drinks:For cocktails, we had a Sassy Tangarine: Cachaca, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, tangerine, and orange bitters and an Espresso Mama: A rich and indulgent chilled espresso cocktail with Georgian Brandy, Mr. Black, fresh espresso and simple syrup. And then with dinner, I had a flight of their famous wines - I had the Amber Wine Flight - Three different amber wine styles from different grape varieties.Service:The service was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. We sat at the bar and had a great time.Vibe:I loved sitting at the bar. I took a tour around the restaurant and if I sat at a table, I would probably want to sit in the front room or at the bar. This was a great find and I would highly recommend a visit.Date of Visit: 16 March 2024“
“We had an amazing experience at Claud last night. The service couldn't have been better, and the food was amazing. We ordered the squash fritters, foie gras terrine, red shrimp, chicken liver agnolotti and rice pudding for dessert. We were also able to try the kampachi with kumquat and yuzu which was so fresh bright and delicious. The squash fritters had such a light and delicious batter and covered with pecorino. They were amazing. We loved the foie gras terrine with the most delicious sourdough bread. The red shrimp was one of my favorites. So simple and full of flavor. The agnolotti were fantastic. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and were covered in delicious smoked onion jus. The glazed carrots were so unique and delectable. The rice pudding was one of the best we've ever had. This was one of the best meals we've had in NYC. It would be hard to find anything better.“
“It’s as good as everyone says it isWe ordered half the menu & nothing was less than fantastic. Cocktails were all good, boozy, and well crafted. We loved the scotch egg, and honestly the fries were something to write home about. Duck pie & the burger were the stars of the meal.“
“This is a restaurant run by a lobster shop in Chelsea Market. There are many types of oysters, so it might be a good idea to use it as an oyster bar. It's a small shop, but the food is fresh and delicious. Also, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good.“
“TLDR: Replacing what was The Breslin is now Koloman. This is a very European restaurant. I've only been for lunch but for this level of dining, probably one of the better prefixe menus. I think the focaccia is worth it and for my selections, tartare, schnitzel and strudel.I went through a week of just eating a lot of fancy lunches solo. This day I hit up Koloman as I was curious about their prefixe for awhile.I added the warm pumpkin focaccia and yeah - that was tasty. Definitely rubbed in plenty of oil but it was nicely crispy on the outside but oh so fluffy on the inside. That butter was something else too.For the selections I started with the tartare. Typical french preparation, not too eggy or rich. Adequate acidity and very flavorful.Schnitzel. I wanted to like this a bit more but it was still good. The schnitzel coating was quite thin but maybe the way it was plated on top of each other - it kind of steamed out the coating and it just fell off. I liked the warm potato salad that accompanied it. I still am not a fan of lingonberry but I can appreciate it.Strudle. Very thin layers, tasty but maybe too much powdered sugar for my preference.Overall - I liked the food enough that Id' be back and maybe try some other things on the menu. Standout for me on this meal though? Focaccia, tartare.“
“Came here to have a wine tasting with my boyfriend and his friend. As I walk in the interior design is very cool. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Tonight wine tasting is from Sicily and the brewer is here tonight. It was a pleasure seeing him and how he explaining where the wine was from. We order a charcuterie while we taste the wine. Would recommend people to come and visit this place.“
“The host or waiter provided exceptional service, though unfortunately, I don't recall his name. Despite being seated at a chilly table, he graciously accommodated my request to move to a warmer spot on Valentine's Day. I was genuinely grateful for his kindness and look forward to returning soon. I highly recommend the restaurant; the ambiance and cuisine were superb!“
“Food was tasty overall. Cocktails were great. Got the pandan punch (sweet). For food, we got the duck rilette, frog legs (it was alright), unisoba (uni was good quality), oxtail (favorite for the night), and their tres leches cake (it was really good). Service was amazing and so friendly.“
“This wine bar in midtown is a gem among the sea of Irish Pubs and delis. The service is top-notch and international, adding to the welcoming vibe. Went alone, sat at the bar and ordered a charcuterie which was excellent value and quality, paired perfectly with bold reds, handpicked with the help of their awesome servers. Loved it.“
“Had a girls night here. 5 of us, outside table, drinks and dinner before going out on Saturday. Definitely make a reservation. Drinks were average price for WV - 18. They were all excellent tasting (see note below though). Service was great - sirloin sandwich was delicious and well priced. We were not rushed out and vibes were great. We had a great time and I will be back. Note to the restaurant -- the espresso martini was great BUT please change the design, the coffee grounds on the top were cute but they ruin the drink halfway through and get in your teeth.“
“This place rocked. We wanted something close to the High Line and this place popped up. We made a reservation via Open Table. After getting delayed on the subway, we were a little late. The hostess was understandable and we were seated at a table right away. It was busy and lively. We ate the sourdough bread, citrus salad and deviled eggs. It was all good. I am certain anything is good on their menu. Thanks Cookshop!“
“I start this review at the end: We will be returning to L'accolade for dinner again. I made our reservations on the same night as catching a show after dinner and so, we did not get a bottle from the wine list. The next time we go back, my husband and I have agreed to schedule dinner on it's own so that we may spend a bit more time and have a bottle from the wine list. The wine list is intriguing and electric, with many selections that my husband did not recognize, but is excited to try.I reserved at L'accolade because it was close to the venue where our show was scheduled that night and the restaurant that I first booked had removed duck (my favourite) from their menu. I wasn't sure what to expect exactly, from the online menu I was expecting something quite French, but I thought it would a bit more traditional? We were blown away and so happy I found L'accolade!Entering the restaurant we were greeted in a very professional and knowledgeable staff member, who had a great smile :)The place was hopping - lively music, lots of people having lively conversation and the interior felt like a very like we were about to dine in someone's beloved wine cave.We were seated at one of the best tables in the restaurant, I'm not sure how we got so lucky, this table was perfect for us.The gentleman was taking care of us primarily let us know we arrived at Happy Hour and that the drink specials were still on, so we began with a cocktail. I rarely have gin so opted for the Lavande, which features one of my fav flavour combinations, lavender and lemon and it was the perfect start to my meal. My husband requested a vodka martini on ice with three olives and our gentleman asked he if wanted it dirty - always the sign that someone knows their martinis! My husband answered "A little" and our gentleman knew exactly what was what :DWe greatly enjoyed our cocktails while we made our decisions about our meals. My husband looked over the wine list and was surprised to see many selections he was unfamiliar with, it was decided that if the food was good, we would be back to try a bottle from the wine list.At the perfect moment, the gentleman taking care of us returned to take our food orders and wine for our mains. We were very happy to be informed how each of our mains would be served - both medium rare, which is our preferred cook. I am not sure how others feel about this, but for my husband and I, we were reminded of our recent trip to Paris and take as a sign that the chef is well-trained in the French style. This was a touch that really made us smile, thank you.I had the Hamachi Tartare, it was beautifully presented, balanced, tasted of freshness and just a touch of acidity. I was worried it wouldn't taste right with my cocktail, but it was quite complimentary. My husband opted for the Seared Scallops which looked dramatic and perfect on his plate. He greatly enjoyed them and, of course, loved his martini. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, it reminded us greatly of French service with a friendly American twist. One of the things that stood out to us about the staff is that they genuinely seem to like working here and to also like each other, it's a really great environment to spend time in.Our table was clear and our mains presented in perfect timing and our dinner wine were brought over at exactly the right moment. My husband had the Beef Strip Loin, which included a serving of bone marrow. His plate was dramatic and he loved it. My husband that although he doesn't usually enjoy bone marrow, it was delicious and he finished it all off. We really appreciate the staff member who was attentive enough to realize that my husband needed a spoon without us asking, thank you, thank was very kind.I had the duck. It was the reason that we booked here and it was wonderful - perfectly cooked, the sides were tasty and balanced. It was the kind of duck that I will think about for a long time.We are so happy that we had dinner here and have been talking about it since we visited.“
“Really enyjoyed the mixed grill and hummus, and the sauces they brought in these cute, little bottles to accompany the pita were really tasty. I liked the gooey, thick Lebanese dumplings as well, I wish they weren’t drowned in yoghurt too. Service was fast, prices good. Solid place, but the tables are too small for those big plates.“
“Wonderful dining experience! The space is small and cozy, the cocktails delicious, and we were treated with such warmth, kindness and respect, like we were in someone’s home. This is how dining out should be. The seating can get quite tight later into the dinner hour, so try not to bring big coats or bags! They will check them for you downstairs though, if you’d like. Also get the bread with butter, it’s the most delicious butter I’ve ever tasted. No diet-just do it!“
“I went to this restaurant for my birthday, and despite the last minute discovery, Giovanni and Matteo went out of their way to surprise me and bring me a slice of cake to celebrate. Delicious dishes and Matteo very kind, the prices are fair and even lower than many restaurants in New York. Giovanni was very kind and even moved my table under the Lazio mural (I'm a Roma fan ??) but they deserve a 5 star rating! Highly recommended!“
“We ate well, good service, great location. We had dinner in the outdoor area which was obviously closed and heated by a fan but with the New York cold, despite the precautions taken, it is not the best and I would have preferred to stay inside. But still I recommend it for good food.“
“Came here with a large group of friends and had an incredible time! Everything I ate and drank was absolutely delicious and tasted so authentic. I would definitely recommend the Golgappa as an appetizer and the Lotan ke Chole as an entree! Add the Pipli cocktail and it’s a perfect night :)“
“I’m a Persian American originally from LA and this is one of the best Persian restaurants I have been to. I am so impressed with the original recipes of the food and the ability to train the cooks to maintain loyalty to the original dish. The ingredients they use are high quality. My dad is an excellent cook and when I eat at Shiraz I feel like I am eating back at home. I should also mention I am a vegetarian and really appreciate the new vegan options - the gheimeh (vegetable stew) is a must. And the saffron ice cream — it’s what perfume would taste like if it were edible. The jazz band (with the clarinet) also created such a nice atmosphere. Bravo ? ? and thank you for bringing such high quality to nyc!“
“We stopped in before our NYU tour and were greeted & seated right away! The menu includes pasta, sandwiches, salads, and more! My daughter is a vegetarian and appreciated the vegetarian suggestions on the menu. The food came out quickly and was both fresh and delicious! We would come here again!“
“Italian-American owner, a place to enjoy an Italian style aperitif: cocktails, wine and beers with excellent cheese platters, and absolutely excellent cold cuts platters. Then sandwiches or various appetizers. It's not a restaurant but it's worth the trip.“
“Great place to enjoy a delicious pizza. I’m super picky when it comes to food. I must say that this place exceeded my expectations.FRIED CALAMARI was amazing and IMPOSSIBLE CHICKEN was super crunchy and tasty. Now the CHIMI CHICKEN PIZZA was the BEST pizza I ever had in a long time. Service let by JUNIOR made me feel welcomed… Great place ??“
“We reserved a table here via Resy. It was pretty booked up far in advance, but I heard this place was good somewhere online. We loved ramen and Asian noodles so we were looking forward to this.We were bummed that our table was right next to the front door and the draft from people coming in and out of the front door was pretty chilly. We didn’t come super hungry and didn’t try any appetizers.I ordered the family Ranyum which our waiter said was his favorite. My boyfriend got the wagyu Ramyun.I loved the rich pork flavor of the family ramyun, lots of mushrooms, and the soy egg that I added was really tasty and unique.I tried the wagyu ramyun, it has a very strong beef flavor which my boyfriend liked a lot.We have not tried many ramyun dishes (mostly ramen and other Asian soups) but both the dishes we tried were some of the best noodles we’ve ever had.“
“I want to bathe in the Anchoiade...I'm not usually one to order pasta at a restaurant, but I was absolutely mindblown by the pasta anchoiade. Sensational sauce - salty, buttery, silky, the anchovy comes through but isn't too fishy. I could write a love letter to this dish (this review seems to already be turning into one).Pasta aside - I adore this restaurant. The paté, the citrus salad, the horseradish roast beef. I came here on a date and was simply lusting (over the food). Delightful!“
“Temperance is one of my absolute favorite wine bars in the city, and I've been multiple times for drinks, dinner, and their private event wine tastings. The food, service, and ambiance are always so nice. I recently hosted a dinner party in their private dining area and it was a great experience. They include unlimited wine along with selections of food family style, and the team was so friendly, explaining the different wine types and always making sure our glasses were topped up. Highly recommend!“
“Great local find. It gets quite loud for both brunch and dinner, so plan at an off time if you're looking for a quieter meal or date where you want to hear the other person. Food was good and served quickly. For brunch, we tried the omelet, salad nicoise, fish, and sweets. Partnered wine was on point. When we went back for dinner - one of us had steak, another mussels, and the third the chicken - all really great. Not super fancy, but had a good hometown vibe.“
“Besides the fact that the service was excellent, from start to finish, the food was truly outstanding, beginning with a generous slab of parmesan cheese with bread at the beginning. I had the tomato soup, served piping hot as it should be, with melted cheese at the bottom of the bowl--wonderful touch! Had the Ramerino salad as a second course which was served with a light lemon/olive oil dressing--fantastic--followed by the spaghetti alla chitarra, which was great. The portions were generous throughout. If you like Italian food, you'll love this place--fresh, excellent ingredients beautifully prepared and plated.“
“Absolutely loved this restaurant! Service was superb! Great vibes … felt very safe with distance of tables . Service and head waiter was so welcoming ! Lentil soup and Salad gelato with shrimp Delicious! Salmon , lasagna and homemade pappardelle so yummy . I just returned from Italy and felt like I was right back there ! Will be back !“
“Managed to get a last min table on a very rainy night and had an enjoyable meal! The menu is limited vs l'artusi, more bistro style with sandwich options and some fusion items (like wings with fish sauce, delicious). The kale Caesar was filling and the breaded chicken cooked nicely. The short rib grilled cheese was also yum.Mind blowing? No. But a good option, with a nice adult drinkey vibe in the village .“
“Very good Restaurant. We were here two times, both of which the experience was outstanding. We had great food and laughed a lot. Especially the waiter Domenico is an absolute legend. Full of energy, very friendly and a great sense of humor. We can just recommend coming here at least once on your trip to New York!Food-wise I absolutely love the truffle fries, you Have to trie them. All in all just a great experience.Kid-friendliness: Very good, no problem“
“thoroughly enjoyed everything i ate and the ambiance is divine for an LES spot that does not have any pretentious vibes. burger is juicy. the sides are perfectly composed. drinks were strong and oysters perfectly shucked. and the staff is super nice and accommodating. can’t wait to come “
“One of the best meals I’ve had in a VERY long time. Every dish was a 10. Exciting, innovative, yet still approachable and incredibly delicious. Still thinking about the seabass tartare and the mafaldine with king crab mmmmm. The team there is TOPS. They execute flawless fine dining service in a way that feels genuine, cool, calm and collected. Many many thanks to Whitney, Darnelle, Naomi and Josh. Already looking forward to my next visit.“
“Ayza is a favorite restaurant for my friends and family. Although I skipped the Chocolate Martini for which the restaurant is known; Prosecco and appetizers were a delicious alternative. We sat in the outdoor heated space. I have also eaten in the trolley acquired during the initial stages of the pandemic. The indoor space is small but most tables seat four people comfortably. I visit Ayza every time I visit NY. I highly recommend this space for fun.“
“TRULY one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in the past year. The short rib ragu with pine nuts is not to be believed. This was a VERY special dish. I’m not even finished with my meal and I’m writing this review! This is a must-eat for Italian lovers. Thank you Chef Greg!!!“
“It was a brisk day and we were offered outside- which we took rather than wait. I am not sure I would have been comfortable with all of the taxidermy. Sort of creepy- vegetarians, beware. Our server was the right amount of attention.Food- tasty- squash toast. Fun sort of asian? Flavor- maybe too much mint [I had to remove half of it- there was a LOT]. Side of bacon to share$35 each- coffee, squash toast, 1/2 bacon. COST- NYC PRICES.Coffee- sour- didn't finish even half....booooooooo!Sort of sunday out fancy.“
“Authentic Italian Experience in Hell's Kitchen! Aria in Hell's Kitchen is a hidden gem that transports you straight to Italy with its incredible food and cozy atmosphere. As someone who has spent time in Italy, dining here felt like being back in an Italian home enjoying a delicious homemade meal. Mark, the owner, adds a personal touch to the experience with his warm hospitality. The specialty menu is a must-try, showcasing the best of Italian cuisine. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Aria is definitely one of the best neighborhood places in the area. Highly recommend!“
“Amazing!!!! This place is for beautiful, delicious food with personalized service that will leave you with warm memories. We held a party and all the guests were praising food and all 19 members of our party chose different entree. Broad menu , delicious cocktails ( drinks were amazing - we were competing / challenging bar- and were so excited to receive beautiful composition of flavors). Big servings - enough to feed 2 people! They were very accommodating- they offered to open for our party an hour earlier - just for us to have some personal family time - WHO WOULD DO THAT!?! Once we walked in - we were offered to take off and hang our outwear. Warm welcome made us feel especially important! Only thought kept our servers away from us. They were on their toes above our table - and some moments were felt - they are reading my mind.Great for special occasions and beautiful food to have !! We all will definitely come back again!!!Thank you guys for memorable evening !!!!“
“Literally best place on Earth. The seasonal pasta are incredddd. Rosemary spritz <3 and they are fully farm to table with the herbs on roof!During christmas it's sooooo cute and they put a lit christmas tree on the roofxoxo fav #1 customer“
“This is such a fantastic place. Steaks done right and perfect. Excellent sides. It's really nice inside and the staff were phenomenal. Our server was "Richard", inside joke, and she was amazing. The only negative from tonight, and I'm reaching, is that the tables are too close to each other. You are elbows length away from the table next to you to the point when someone gets up to go to the bathroom their body will absolutely hit your table and/or your food. Would happily come back here.“
“Came in for Morini Mondays when all pasta is $15.At $15, pasta was decent. Not super flavorful, but solid pasta noodle quality. The truffle pasta I had barely tasted of truffle at all. Not mad at it for $15 on a Monday night, but would be had I paid full price ($35), I would be disappointed.Service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and laidback, like a good neighborhood spot.I’d consider coming again for Morini Mondays, but won’t return otherwise.“
“This is the easiest 5 star review I've ever left. Came here for an anniversary and the staff made it feel incredibly special. The food was divine, environment was great, and service was beyond impeccable. Anything you could want for a celebration or just a nice night out. The tasting menu was wonderful and would absolutely recommend spending the additional $10 for the custard and caviar. If you're torn between desserts go with the cake and sorbet, both are incredible but it's the more complete and balanced dish imo. Honestly thanks again to the staff for making a special night even moreso.P.s. I would buy the scallion butter by the tub if I could.“
“The service was amazing! Our server Jay went above and beyond what was expected. The onion soup was delicious. The perfect amount of cheese and the perfect saltiness. I ordered the 2 course plat. I had the soup and the beef tenderloin and fries. Delicious. The special dessert of the day was their bourbon bread pudding with butter pecan ice cream. All I can say is Yum!!“
“Stop by Thursday night for the first time after work. I was very surprised and impressed from the moment I arrived. Very upscale and elegant place with alot of attention to detail, with a very warm relaxed feeling and a very inviting cozy mood ambience. The service and food was phenomenal and Jorge, the bartender/manager was great, also enhanced my experience, he's very detailed may me and my friend feel very special.I felt like, i was actually in Dubai. If you're looking to escape the stress from the day and week and have great night. I highly recommend Little Dubai It's a five star winner ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The best kept secret in North Jersey N.Y. metropolitan area.“
