“The BEST Sicilian square sourdough pizza on the planet 🌎 their sauce is organic and phenomenal, the cheese is wonderful, olives and if you feel like it Add some sausage, and the yummiest pecorino Romano shreds just topped it off. The crispiest crust and So incredibly digestible, because it’s sourdough. Sourdough is fermented and your gut loves fermented food… Love their little gem lettuce salad with their homemade dressing. Very simple here I think we ordered 3 square pies and of course brought some home The Sicilian squares heats up beautifully Just love OPS on Himrod Bushwick Brooklyn!!!! We brought our son who lives in Louisville and this time brought our daughter and boyfriend who live in San Diego and their rock star Pal who is on a tour with THE WHO. All give the square pizza A+ Excellent! The staff is warm and friendly!!!“

“Came to Brooklyn for the weekend all the way from little Knoxville TN to visit my fiancés family and the last stop on the way out before heading home was for pies at speedy Romeos and boy are we glad we did they were not only the pest pizzas of the trip but the best pizza I’ve ever had hands down we got a classic kids cheese pie and the white album and both were amazing. Will definitely be back for more next time we make the trip back up.“

“The food here is pretty phenomenal. The wait times can vary between 10 to 25 minutes. The pizza is fantastic and is made fresh every time I visited. The atmosphere is nice family oriented and is a great place to visit if it’s just you, you’re on a date, or if families in town.“

We ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Caesar Salad, and a 14-inch Pepperoni Pizza. Every single item was delicious! The quality of the food was outstanding. Classic pizza spot; always fresh. Pep, plain cheese, doesn't matter, I've yet to have a bad slice. Flavorful, perfect texture - chewy with that perfect initial crunch. Only thing I'd add to the menu? Pinwheels, maybe. Sometimes I have to walk on the other side of the street to avoid being tempted to grab a slice.

Staff is friendly, great to chat with, & we often run into them on our morning walks. Prices are great. Great spot to stop in, especially on a nice day when they pop the windows out.“

“One of my favorite places in the city for some proper Italian pizza pie. A nice neopolitan style thin crust, with fresh mozzarella and delicious marinara sauce. The atmosphere and service are excellent and this place has just gotten busier since it opened its doors a few years ago. It's in my neighborhood and go in for negroni sbagliato and pizza fix.“

“The mushroom pizza is to die for!! The vibes were cozy and i loved the diffused lighting. Aesthically speaking this place was very beautiful inside, we had to take a moment to pause and look at the art/architecture. The food was good, the drinks were good, and the service was quick and friendly.“

“I hosted a birthday party in Rosticceria Evelina's semi private room for 11 people and it was absolutely perfect. They provide a very reasonable, flat, per person rate for a prix fix menu (many places have a very high spend minimum) and they created a personalized menu card for our event which was a lovely, personalized touch.

The food is amazing - one dish was better than the last. They accommodated for allergies and allowed me to make a last minute change.

“La La’s “clam pie” is the best pizza I have ever had!! My friend, Tracy, and I had Irene, our bartender/server, add bacon to the pie! It was ridiculously delicious!! Irene was also amazing!! In addition to be an awesome server she clued me in on fun thing to do in Brooklyn!! Added bonus seating upstairs and downstairs and they played 70’s & 80’s R & B!! I was in heaven!!“

“Barbalu offers great dishes served impressively fast. I’ve tried many of their saucy pasta plates and Italian wines, and I’ve loved every single one. The service — as you can tell — is quick, and the place is almost always packed.

I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time to secure a good spot and enjoy the experience without the wait!“

I was a little disappointed with the different slice options— I personally would have liked more variety, particularly a Sicilian slice with meat on it. The service was quick. I had my 40th birthday at Salsa Greenpoint and it was the perfect place for a pizza party :). The layout of the space was great, with plenty to seat and our own bathroom to access. The team was very accommodating with accepting deliveries and giving us time to decorate for the night.

The food was delicious and the unlimited food option for group parties was perfect! Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and pizzas, as well as the cannoli :)

Thanks again to Salsa for helping us make it a special night for friends & family, and myself. We all had a great time!“

“A little gem. This small spot with a beautiful back patio squeezed in a group of 10 or so. The mushroom pizza was all we had but was 5/5 and worth a trip. Their dough is so light and pillowy but with crisp edges and a fantastic bite. The toppings on the mushroom pizza were perfectly seasoned and a very nice ratio (not overpowering the cheese or dough). Honestly though, the dough was special and is worth the trip to explore their other pizzas. Next time we come we will absolutely get a few pies and take home whatever is left. But if everything is as good as that mushroom pizza, there's small chance of leftovers.“

Cocktails $13, $11 during happy hour (M-Th 5 to 7 or 7:30). Beer well priced and also a dollar off at happy hour. Maybe 10 indoor tables but not crowded. Great service. A neighborhood gem.“

“Fantastic spot. We live in a nearby neighborhood and have been many times. Located on a quiet corner near the pier with a lovely sunset view of the statute of liberty, it feels like a peaceful escape from the city.

The food is generally very good. The ricotta beet salad is a must have - so fresh. Our only caveat is that the pizza can be a bit soggy, so we'd suggest foregoing toppings and just getting the plain tomato mozzarella (which is very good).“

“I’ve been meaning to try Chrissy’s for a while now. This weekend I got a chance to go there finally. I ate a lot of NYCs best pizzerias and Chrissy’s is up there with all the best of em.

I got half regular and half banana peppers with soppresatta. Crisp, light, airy with just the right amount of tang on the sauce and perfect amount of cheese. The banana peppers gave a nice vinegary flavor that meshed well with the soppressatta.
