“The food is incredible and the service is amazing. Glen Cove is lucky to have this restaurant here. It has a real small town feel with city quality food. I strongly recommend giving The View a try and you'll be sure to be backParking: Easy parking near the entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: It's easy to get to the table if you have someone in the party with limited mobility.“
“The Cove Restaurant is located in Glen Cove. There is both a restaurant and an outdoor bar. If I remember correctly, they have live music on weekends. It is a very cool and elite place. The biggest problem for me is that there is no free parking. There is usually valet. But if we evaluate it in general, it is a very good place The Cove Restaurant.“
“Appetizer was a crab cake. Winner! Had the wood grilled shrimp and grits. WONDERFUL! My lady had a medium rare burger which was excellent ! I also had the Hawaiian Pineapple Cosmopolitan! WOW!Overall I was very pleased and will definitely be going back!“
“Great place to have seafood . Food is very delicious . I had a dragon roll which was good size . Bass was melting in my mouth and buttery but lacked seasoning. Fries very good size but not crispy. They need to work on fries . Greek salad was more of tomato salad than Greek salad . Lacking major Mediterranean elements .Dietary restrictions: Kosher“
“Saturday evening dinner without a reservation. Walking in, my eyes immediately gravitated to the pictures of the owners and the many celebrities that have eaten and visited there before. The bar area is very nice and large, with TVs playing sports and news. We were greeted, welcomed and seated immediately. The dining area is very large and decorous. The tables large enough to sit us all. My cousin-in-law and his family frequent the restaurant and he practically knows everyone there, so as we sat, we were introduced to the owners and pretty much about a half dozen waiters and other staff members. All were extremely friendly and welcoming. As expected with all family style restaurants, the tables are very close to one another but positioned in a way that still allowed for ample space for you to move and sit comfortably. When we sat, there were hardly any people there, but within an hour it was full of patrons and large families. It was loud, but manageable. The food was unbelievably delicious. I haven't had true traditional family style Italian food in a long time. From the Fried Calamari and cold antipasto appetizers, to our Veal Parmigiana, Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and prosciutto entrees. Paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo Napa, I truly enjoyed my meal. I haven't enjoyed food this good in a long time. My girls shared a huge plate of Chicken fingers and fries, and they loved it. I highly recommend anyone who's in the area to dine here. You won't regret it. Thank you for a great meal and patronage.“
“Very good food at Popei's starting with their garlic+ bread. I had the lobster and shrimp stuffed penne in vodka sauce - hearty, tender, perfectly cooked seafood without that rubbery feeling in a fantastically creamy sauce. I sliced my stuffed penne into diagonal strips and every bite was amazing. Others had the crab leg and steak special; crab wasn't as good as my shrimp and lobster being a little over-boiled perhaps but the skirt steak had great flavor and chew. Most entrées hovered around $30. Would absolutely return.Note they have valet parking due to its popularity and limited parking space - so bring some small bills.“
“Impeccable service to food. Taken care of as if you were in a high end place in manhattan. Lenny’s does there best for the customer to bring good food and service in a welcoming cozy atmosphere that makes you want to come back regularly. The owner walks the restaurant engaging with tables and making sure all is of standard as well as the staff especially Sean!“
“Hi I don't usually don't do reviews but I had a surprise birthday party for my wife on 3/23 of a party of 20 people and from the beginning dealing with and planning with EVA she went up and above my expectations walking me threw everything from beginning to end I can't say enough of her and Barbara and just wanted to thank Barbara our server handled all of us with no issues at all and all of the staff who helped with everything from Eva, Barbara and would give both of them 10 stars and more and food was absolutely exquisite“
“I have really loved going there. The only complain would be the side salad. The Caesar dressing is awful and they have no ranch dressing. The steaks are good, but we are from Kansas City, so there's that. The meatloaf and other meals have been very good and we go on a fairly regular basis.“
“We held a private event for about 25 people last weekend in the upstairs space at Two25 and I could not have been more pleased! Leading up to our event, Andrea was very helpful and responsive, and the rest of the staff was just as incredible day-of. They were attentive to us and our guests (adults and children alike), regularly checking in to make sure everything was going well and everyone had what they needed. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was fantastic. It was the perfect place for our event, and we'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area!“
“We have had dinner at this restaurant several times. The environment is very tasteful, the service is very good, and the various dishes are very exquisite in workmanship. We highly recommend this place and will stay here again if we come back to New York.“
“Our family comes here frequently because you can't go wrong with the food, drinks or service. Their mac n'cheese is my kids favorite and it's often hard for my husband and I to decide what to eat because everything is just so, so good.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to families“
“I remember from years ago that the soft shell crab was good, I don't remember what else made me bookmark this place to return. My partner loves his branzino fish. I had the skirt steak, it was tender, flavor was decent. The service was top notch. I will be back.“
“Excellent Service with our server, David Nunez. Great suggestions by him. Stuffed crab meat shrimp as appetizer, bacon wrapped mozzarella served with a side of Lobster Bisque soup and tuna tartare with avocado. Scallops served with a asparagus and creamy risotto was delicious as entrees. Meal ended with a Creme Brulee topped with sliced strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Great experience all around.Parking: Valet parking available.“
“The food was incredible; it's feels like these days the restaurants in our area aren't trying that hard and make you feel like you should just accept the garbage food they serve you but not Copperhill; every dish was delicious and beautiful. The service was also great and overall it was an awesome experience. We can't wait to come back and try the brunch menu. The restaurant and bar area is also beautiful.“
“My absolute favorite Greek restaurant! They have several locations, but I like the one in Bayside the best because I find it's not as crowded as the other ones. The parking here can be a little tough but there is a municipal parking lot about 3 short blocks away and you can also take public transportation there, it is about a block away from the Bayside Long Island Railroad station. Try their steak its my favorite, but I also recommend the octopus, and their fish is always fresh and delicious, but you really can't go wrong with anything you get here. This place is always super clean, the service is always great and they pour a great drink. Now, this is an edited review from my original because i just had to mention Arif, who is the general manager. When you meet Arif you will understand why this place is so great. The guy makes you feel like family and makes sure you have a top-notch experience. Well done, Arif. What else can you ask for! My advice to you is stop reading this review and get your a** over there! Enjoy!!Parking: There is a municipal parking lot about 3 blocks away“
“Made a reservation here for restaurant week. Apparently didn't need one. The place has its own parking lot with about a dozen spots. We entered the building which took us into the bar, which was bustling. The dining room was quaint, with some really nice booths and a fireplace that should have been lit. Our server was a good looking young man, pleasant, not overbearing with a sense of humor. We opted to include an additional appetizer of baked clams to our meal, along with the crab cake and winter salad, which I forgot to take photos of. My friend opted for the lamb chops while I had the branzino piccata. Yummy, although the menu never stated that the fish was served over a shrimp risotto. (I'm allergic to shrimp). Only 1 bone in the fish, so I was lucky. Our dessert consisted of tiramisu and rainbow cookie cheesecake. I was "fortunate" to get the last piece although not very cheesecake-y. All in all we had a nice dinner and will maybe return for another meal.“
“It give’s Italian family love. The personality of the staff to how they greet you with food at the door while you wait. The potions are only comparable to what your loving grandmother would give you, they are so huge. The options of sauces and pasta are amazing. I loved the giant garlic knot and the fried ravioli for appetizers. The chicken Panzanella was to died for, I literally cant wait to go back just for that. My family had chicken Alfredo and chicken parm. All the options were great. The lemon drops are some of the best I ever had. There’s tons of parking, the wait wasn’t too long, and yeah you just have to visit!Parking: The restaurant is in a shopping center so the parking is free and plenty.“
“The service was excellent. Very loud on Peak Busy times. Seating is very tight. They pack you in. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate setting, this is not the place on busy peak times. The food was okay. Steaks are great. Salad was okay. You are going there for the steaks. I had stuffed shrimp with crab meat. Real crab meat. It was a little on the dry side. The potatoes were good. The chocolate cake was decent, but the actual cake was very dry. Service was amazing, and you are not rushed.Parking: Valet parking“
“Open for lunch! Google maps said closed, (found out later, website had corrrct hours!) but we stopped by anyway thankfully. Beautiful lunch menu. Perfect French onion soup, sandwiches, etc. Excellent service because down to earth, real, friendly. Shall I continue? Totally recommend.“
“Absolutely love this place, I crave it when I'm not having food here.Fav item is the Sushi Tacos, such a unique idea + it's more food than normal Sushi RollsOn the other menu, I love the Cat Fish Poboys. The Cat Fish is always fried perfectly!I'm also addicted to their Brown Sugar Bubble Tea, sooo dang good! ??“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Villa Milano, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel like family. The crew at Villa Milano is truly exceptional - attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the pizza. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The pizza at Villa Milano is nothing short of spectacular. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with a perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings atop a delectably crispy crust. Whether you're a fan of classic combinations or craving something a bit more adventurous, Villa Milano has something for everyone. Trust me when I say, you won't be able to resist going back for seconds (and thirds)! But what truly sets Villa Milano apart is the atmosphere. It's not just a restaurant; it's a place where memories are made and friendships are forged over mouthwatering slices of pizza. Whether you're dining in with friends or grabbing a takeaway, you'll always leave Villa Milano with a smile on your face and a satisfied stomach. In summary, if you're in the mood for delicious pizza served with a side of warmth and hospitality, look no further than Villa Milano. It's a true gem in the world of pizza restaurants, and I can't wait to go back for another slice of perfection.“
“I enjoyed my experience there. Food was good, so was service. The price was right. I understand why they charge for uneaten food, it duscourages people from wasting. My wife and i shared several items without issue. My only issue was being expected to tip on top of the 15% gratuity that is automatically added to the bill. Other than that I'm satisfied. I will go back in foreseeable future. Also the mango martinis was hittin.“
“Absolutely fantastic! What a gem!We were in town for a very quick visit and stumbled across this amazing restaurant! We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was simply delicious. Tender, cooked perfectly, and very tasty. As a main dish, I ordered the special seafood pasta fra diavolo. It was amazing. My wife ordered the branzino special and that too was divine. We closed out with a tiramisu that was one of the best we ever had.Added bonus, Tuesday is 40% off wine, so we had a great bottle for a super deal!Lastly, Cristian, our server was top notch! We will highly recommend this incredible restaurant with great ambiance and over the top food!“
“If you are looking for the best sushi on Long Island FUKEE is the spot. I have been to my fair share of sushi places and nothing even comes close to the freshness and quality here. Spicy kani rolls, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna rolls, green salad and miso soup are literally the best I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been on a 60 day cleanse and I’m counting down the days it’s over so I can get FUKEE again. I usually get it a few nights a week and every night it’s better and better if that’s even possible! I cannot say enough great things about this spot!! If you never had it; this is your sign to go, you won’t be disappointed! They have a customer for life, words can’t describe how much I love this place <3“
“Great place for lazy quiet lunches... natural light filled atrium...good for all seasons..new modern decor...Servers a bit novice and look confused at times probably new o. The job..but will get better... food is very good and right portions..(not large greasy ).. coffee could get better .“
“Ordered delivery, guy on the phone was super nice, customized my whole order, delivery guy called in advance, followed my directions. Appreciate that. Food came and was looking fresh!!! ? And ? food was amazing. Really really yummy ? it looks good in the pics and it tastes good... A1 BURGER NEEDS FRESH ONION though ?. Sides are amazing as well. Will definitely be a customer again.“
“They have been around for a long time and continuously excellent for food and service. The noise remains due to acoustics so I turned my hearing aid lower and you get used to it The prices are fair considering Bidenomics, and they show their class by not charging for the use of Credit Cards. Got to get back here soon.“
“We have been coming here for over half a year and it’s our go to spot for sushi. It’s the only place outside of Manhattan where we can get fish that doesn’t cause my skin to react. The quality and preparation is ways above the local sushi joints.“
“Tried this restaurant because it was close to the hotel we were staying at. Had the dumplings for an appetizer with the complementary bread and sauces. All were incredible, full of flavor. The lamb kabob was also delicious. The chicken kabob would've been better if it came with a sauce, but the flavor was still nice. Services was fast and friendly. Would dine here again.“
“Educational dinners in Queens typically do not work with my schedule as I only periodically work in the borough. However, my schedule aligned with a dinner being held at Il Toscano - and since the topic was of particular interest to me I made plans to attend. Two of my colleagues who were joining had great things to say about the restaurant, so I was really excited to check it out. There seems to be two Il Toscanos, one in Commack and the other here in Douglaston. The latter is conveniently located right by the LIRR - you can actually park in the station's lot and they'll validate it. Walking in, I was immediately greeted with old school vibes - the restaurant opened in 1985 and it doesn't look like the styling was changed much. That's a complement by the way - it doesn't look dated and has been kept up and refreshed in a very strategic way. In addition to the main level dining room, they have an upstairs dining room where we were seated. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that we had full access to their menu, and were able to order an appetizer, entree, and dessert. This is rare when going to one of these dinners, as I'm usually limited to certain menu items. They don't have a large menu - sections are marked off for apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. I decided to start off with the Mediterranean pulpo; I really enjoyed this - it was a sizeable octopus leg which was served with white beans and andouille sausage all in a tasty Romanesco sauce. All of the flavors worked really well together. For my main I went with the Semolina Crusted Jumbo Shrimp. The shrimp were lightly breaded and served with crispy leeks and risotto. The dish was good - the shrimp were a good size and the risotto was cooked well. At this point my colleagues and I all wanted to try each other's dishes so we did some swaps. One of them had ravioli stuffed with spinach and cheese which was quite good. My other colleague had the lasagna which was made with a bolognese and béchamel sauces; this was good too - the béchamel was an interesting addition and the pasta was cooked al dente. For dessert I had their signature Napoleon which was super creamy but also light and airy; the flavor and texture were on point. Service was great, food came out a good pace in relation to the presentation and everyone was friendly. Overall, I had a great time at Il Toscano - this was one of the best educational dinners I've been to in a while and part of that is due to the great experience that the restaurant provided. I would definitely return for another meal.“
“Let me start by saying the atmosphere is great, I love the decor. Food is delicious, great drinks and i enjoy the service. Great spot to enjoy with your couple or with friends. Definitely, I will be back.Parking: Very busy street, and it is somewhat difficult to find parking, but you will find one.“
“Had the bacalao fritters as an appetizer. They had small shards of bone in them. We each pulled bones out of our mouths. My friend ordered the cod named after restaurant. Had bones. No where in menu does it tell you that their plate is BONE IN. Made meal unpleasant.I had lamb chops. I must say they were thinnest lamb chops ever anywhere. Usually they’re 3 double chops in every place I’ve had them. Here they’re 4 single chops so thin you can’t get them medium rare as I ordered. I’d say go but ask lots of questions.“
“This is just like being home & the atmosphere is very comforatble. The service & staff are extremely attentive and very pleasant, especially Robert & Cheech. The drinks & food are terrific and the dinner specials are extraordinary & delightful. We always enjoy ouselves and it makes for an easy decision to want to come back.“
“During my recent visit to NY, I happened to visit this restaurant for the first time. The food was authentic and tasty. The ambience was good and the service was great. I would surely go back to this restaurant next time I visit Queens, NY.“
“Always love going here! The ambience is welcoming, and the service is exceptional. We went with two of our friends, and sat at a lovely table in the corner upstairs. The lighting and the atmosphere was excellent, and conducive to great conversation. The baked brie and Braz short ribs are always my faves and did not disappoint! our waiter was excellent, and attentive. Can't wait to come back!“
“I would have given them a 5 but since they got a new person, she's been messing up my orders. Forgetting a lot of ingredients and when I asked for a little salmon with my spicy tuna, she literally put one piece of it. I always pay extra for the salmon add on but she didn't let me explain. Then when my mom wanted peanuts on her order, she put a pinch of it. I'm sorry but I don't know if I can keep going somewhere and constantly telling them what to put on when she keeps looking back at the menu and still forgets. Before her, I had no problem at all! Literally would come here at least 2-3 times a week. Also you guys should put more seasoned tuna bc I always get the number 2. They never have any left and just put the giant onion pieces which I hate.“
“The BEST KEPT SECRET IN GREAT NECK ... Found this Amazing eatery online searching for the best grilled fish in Long Island. It lived up to all my expectations and beyond. Warm setting, with a spotless open kitchen, great vibe, excellent selection of a variety of fish, delicious appetizers & sides. Everything was super FRESH and TASTY. Our fish came out grilled to perfection with flavor and the BEST part is the exceptional customer service provided by Kristy with her charisma and attention to detail and the manager. My wife and I came twice in one week we had such a great experience. MUST stay for the french press coffee ( make sure Kristy makes it ) and the Bougatsa dessert, totally worth the wait as they prepare it fresh to order. EXCELLENT spot for lunch, dinner or dessert. It will become your Go-To as it has become ours. We will be back soon for sure.“
“The most incredible dining experience ever! Highly recommend. You may be thinking well what “dining experience “ does she have to make this statement .... I have dined at some of the most highly recognized restaurants in both NYC and throughout the world. Michelin rated as well. The food was beyond my expectations and I savored every bite. Staff was like family .. they could not have been more attentive! I even forgot to grab my take home and they texted me to come back If you can grab a seat at this unique personal dining experience please do ! Can't wait to go back !“
“Ordered from this place for the 1st time and eventhough i only live about 10 minutes away it took the uber driver 23 minutes to get the order to me..... even with that being said, the food came hot and it was delicious. The only thing i wish is that they would supply the utensils needed to crack open the crabs but if you have some industrial scissors and a good hammer and forks you can make it work. I would absolutely recommend this place even for ordering if you live near by it is worth it. next time i want a seafood boil i will go to this location in person to be able to experience the restaurant itself, the staff, and the service.“
“Second time having the pleasure of dining with girls (birthday celebration) at Telly's in Port Chester. One gal in our party knew of Telly's other location. Both times, awesome service, delicious appetizers and cocktails. We ordered 3 different shared appetizers, then 4 different main course options and shared. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waiter was knowledgeable and gracious. We will definitely return again. Thank you Telly's Taverna!“
“Of all the Greek restaurants I've ever eaten, this was the one that suited my taste the best. It wasn't too salty or spicy, but it had enough flavor of Greek food. The interior was luxurious and the service was very good. A perfect place to have dinner with good people.“
“The most amazing food complimented with a highly professional waitstaff makes Ocean Blue Prime a "MUST" for exquisite dining & atmosphere. Friendly & set on an old Victorian Mansion. Decor is Soft, warm & relaxing. Exquisite bar with an array of Top Shelf spirits & High End as well! This is a must go to for lunch dinner and weekend brunches as well!“
“I like waterooi very much. I went to this location many years ago. The interior design is also in my mind. We went to the other location in Port Washington because it's closer. But the port Washington was closed. We came back again for a family birthday.Food is good as always. Everyone enjoyed it. We ordered Steak Frites, oysters, fried calamari, 2 modules pots, black linguine eta. One of our neighbor works there, he is generous and sent us a creme brulee and chocolate mousse to celebrate.“
“This is not your over the top stiff club room style steak house. It is however a steakhouse with great staff and a more relaxing atmosphere where you feel like family. This is a place where you can take family or enjoy the bar area dining with friends and coworkers. The food is excellent. The crab cocktail is amazing with a healthy portion. The escargot...best I have had. My steak has always been cooked perfectly and delish. I could go on.They even pulled off my apple martini.“
“Kelly’s has the perfect formula for a hometown local bar. The staff and patrons welcome everybody. No matter how packed it is. The Basar always serves everyone within five minutes. The food is genuinely good and consistent. The atmosphere is always inviting and welcoming. You cannot go wrong going there for a drink or two.“
“A truly great Long Island restaurant. The food is delicious. Even better, they have a large cocktail list with some very original mixes. The service is polite, efficient and invisible.Expect to dish out some cash, but you’ll leave feel very satisfied.“
“This is our “go to “ place for years! Wonderful atmosphere and great food!We recently hosted a party for 50 people and could not have been more pleased with the service and food. The upstairs party room is beautiful and well suited for private events.“
“Da Angelo strives to be that neighborhood place which is cozy, staff like family and food which is close to home made . If you love it spicy, ask Sergio to make that special hot sauce ( garlic- olive oil- crushed red peppers) and it will surely fire up your taste buds. The quality of food is much better than some high end Italian restaurants in our area.“
“We have gone to the Glen Cove Diner several times, and each time we were very pleased with the food, service and the helpful staff. The portions are double what I would normally eat, so I have to take home the rest. You don't feel rushed and the lighting is such that you feel relaxed. I would recommend trying this place.“
