I am the only black girl in this restaurant and it was so great at first I was kinda nervous cause the atmosphere was like OK hopefully somebody serviced me, but there was a nice man here he’s in the front. He was the first person to notice me and greet me and he was very kind very sweet. He took his time with me. I just wish that the women were a little bit more nicer and inviting you never know who might come into your spot whether they’re black white or whatever you should acknowledge them even if it’s a poly Peruvian restaurant you should want to encourage all racist to come because money is money services service and food is food, but I did love the food and I love my time”

Some dishes did fall a bit flat (specifically a fish dish that needed a bit more acid to balance it out & desert was a bit underwhelming), but the standouts really stood out to make this a meal worth coming back to. A personal favorite was the Dashi presentation in a wine glass & incredible wagyu beef. Excited to try their next menu!”

“My friends and I had a lovely afternoon at The Rockaway Hotel Pool house. We were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess, Isabella, who made us feel so welcomed. Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.”

My daughter took me to Margie’s for my birthday, and we had such a wonderful experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm, upbeat, and full of great energy.

A special shoutout to our waitress, Carla, who made the experience even better! She was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and made sure our meals came out in a timely manner. Her energy was amazing, and she truly made us feel taken care of.

“Loved the ambience in this great little find! Having traveled to Sichuan province, I can attest that the food really has authentic flavors (albeit kinder to the American palette). The Juju cocktail is outstanding. Would definitely come back to this place try other dishes.”

The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. On the recommendation of our server, Tom, we ordered the sunchokes for an appetizer and cheeseburger and risotto for mains. Favorite bite of the night were the sunchokes with fresh parm and pepper sauce. The cheeseburger and risotto were also outstanding and generously portioned. For dessert, our server recommended an unforgettable parsnip sponge cake with a decadent heap of cream cheese buttercream. The knowledgeable and friendly service made the dining experience warm and welcoming. I’ll be back!”
