“We just delivery from Osaka sushi , they are so excellent , the delivery was so fast , we just waiting for 25minutes from my order, driver was owner so nice , and the food was amazing , their sushi rolls quality were so good , and tempura combo was so crispy , we will order tonight , we really need Osaka Sushi in this town?“
“My friend and I stopped in for dinner recently. It's a cozy ambiance with chill tunes. I feel like Chef Parsley invited us into her personal home and prepared a home-cooked meal for us. My time dining at Chopped Parsley made me forget that I was in Hamilton Heights, and more like I was in a small mountain-town eatery. I believe the absence of delivery motorists contributed to the peacefulness I experienced at Chopped Parsley. Highly recommended and I will be back!“
“One of the highlights of my visit to Roks was their fresh oysters. As a seafood lover, I am always on the lookout for restaurants that serve high-quality seafood, and Roks did not disappoint. The oysters were incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and expertly prepared. Each bite was a heavenly delight that left me wanting to order another round.“
“Hand rolls here are pretty good! Portions are small but I definitely recommend giving it a try here! My favorite handrolls were the spicy tuna and the avocado salmon. The seared prime beef and the A5 Wagyu were also to die for! Every bite melts in your mouth! The spicy tuna crispy rice was ok. The rice was not crispy enough. There was 4 pieces for $12. The salmon carpaccio was really good! Love the citrus sauce that came with this dish. There was 5 slices of salmon for $16. So it was a bit overpriced. Veggie udon was really good and flavorful! Really hit the spot on a cold rainy day! Parking is a bit difficult but that's the norm in Fort Lee. Overall, fish was pretty fresh but overpriced for the portions.“
“This place is run by the owner and he is the only employee. He is there for almost 30 years and he is a very charming gentleman. The sushi was great but I took it out I believe you can eat in and stools by the but it is not really a fancy place. It is definitely best for takeout.“
“I ordered lunch takeout and it was great! The Chirashi Regular has a wide variety of fish and came pretty much exactly as described in the menu picture. The sushi rice is good and had a little bit of roasted sesame seeds on it. I really liked the saba. The katsu don in the second picture!“
“pre-made poke was much better as bowl is wider than custom pick 3, which is narrow bowl.As others suggested, with such bowl, all the sauces remain on top and you end up eating rice on tbe bottom without the sauce. ?Bubble tea is so so, don't have hugh expectations as this is not a Boba place.Vegetarian options: tofu“
“Had another wonderful dinner at Oko with my wife. A good indication of how attentive a Japanese restaurant is with the offerings is the freshness of the edamame -- just the right "bite" with very light seasoning (not salt-forward), warm but not hot, and not sitting in water. The 10 piece sushi dish was perfect, just the right size and with subtle embellishments that one can find in the best Tokyo/Kyoto restaurants. They even made an Buffalo Trace Manhattan for me and had a nice, dry sake for my wife. Highly recommended along with the chef/owner's other top notch restaurants. Special shout out to the staff as well and for José's attention to detail and great service.“
“This is a very popular spot among students at Columbia so we decided to go. I had already heard a lot about this place, and was not disappointed. We were able to get a table easily. They had a huge menu with a lot of options, including vegetarian options. We really enjoyed the chicken gyoza, the chicken bao buns and the chicken ramen. The servers were very sweet and it’s reasonably priced. Would recommend coming here for sure.“
“Nice mellow atmosphere, excellent polite service, had a hankering for so I stopped in and had shrimp Ramen. In a miso type broth, very flavorful, plenty of shrimp and surimi type stuff. Egg was just poached in the broth. They gave me a free appetizer of , I think, white fish tempura which was amazing, great sauce on it. Would go back again, probably would not get the ramen, though good, I have had better.“
“My daughters and I have found our favorite sushi spot. We absolutely love it! The atmosphere is low-key and has an amazing vibe. The music sets a great tone, making the overall atmosphere just perfect. Even though I highly recommend this place, I hesitate to do so because I want to keep it as our little secret. I don't want it to become overcrowded. I know it might sound shady, but this sushi spot serves the best sushi I have ever tasted, and my daughters feel the same way.“
“I've driven past this unassuming place hundreds of times and I've been dying to try it and I FINALLY DID! I was pleasantly surprised at how fantastic everything was, including the service--and they even gave us a sushi roll on the house. Thank you! I wanted to try something different so we ordered a Hudson roll that comes without rice and it was too good. One of the best. Also ordered a roll that had bulgogi beef on-top, wow so savory and delicious. I think it was called the Hinode something...I know that's not very helpful--and it seemed like they were trying it out on the menu because they asked how we liked it. We loved it. The place is cute and small, service is speedy and you can see the chefs preparing the rolls. I think this sushi spot sets itself apart from the rest and has its own unique twist that I appreciate. I am coming back here for sure.“
“Attentive service, Bottles of Sake & a mixed array of sushi! The first sushi restaurant that i been to serves Toro.Vegetarian options: They have vegetablesParking: Street parking and a parking lot across the streetKid-friendliness: It’s a kid friendly restaurant“
“Great and the customer service is amazing. I actually would like to come and dine-in because they're so welcoming and it's cozy. Their seafood is fresh, you can tell they are paying attention to quality and look...anyone that smiles and is kind, you're already halfway there.I'll get pics when I dine-in.“
“Amazing sushi, really nice staff! Tuna tatar was so good. We also ordered Sakura Mango and wasabi Roll were fresh and outstanding taste good. We love bento box, too. Everything was amazing, would love to come back!! Also the atmosphere was amazing and so beautiful.“
“I absolutely LOVE the food here. It’s immensely Fresh and the chef and staff really take their time and prepare a great experience. It’s hands down the best Japanese food in All of rockland county . Everything is very reasonably priced as well. Love this place !“
“Great sushi, sashimi and rolls, the fish and seafood is of excellent quality. Plenty of sake choices, I had the Kaisen Chirachi which came well dressed in this beautiful box and it was all very tasty. Both my wife and I enjoyed it all. The atmosphere was very pleasant and they even have small private booths.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian rolls.“
“I can't imagine having a better favorite Japanese restaurant. The food is incredible and the service is consistently outstanding. Treat yourself to the Supreme Omakase (it is incredible)or get literally everything on the menu by coming here twice a month like I do. You can't go wrong.Parking: Key Food, ftw ;)“
“My family and I had an EXCELLENT first experience at Jugemu! Chef Toshi's experience and passion spoke through his work in the 15-course Omakase experience we all enjoyed! DELICIOUS! The staff was very attentive, and made sure my wife felt special at her Birthday dinner. Thank you SO much, Jugemu Team! We will be back again in the future! =)“
“This place is an absolute must go to!We had take-out.Ordered miso soup, edamame,California rolls, salmon-avocado rolls, shrimp tempura and the Omakase. They were all delicious! ?The miso soup was very flavorful!California rolls had the perfect combination of savory and crunchyThe salmon-avocado was made with such high quality the salmon just melted in my mouth! It wasn’t fishy at all. It was fresh and juicy. The omakase was absolutely grade A quality. Very well balanced flavors, consistency and freshness were very good. And the portions were very good! It wasn’t too much food that it felt overwhelming or too little that you were mad it was all done. It was just right.Highly recommend this place!“
“Overall experience at Sushi Kai was great. I brought my girlfriend with me and the experience for the both of us was amazing. From greeting us at the front door to taking us to our table, the hostess made sure we were comfortable. Additionally, our server was great at providing us with what we need and filling up our glasses with sake if we needed more. The chefs making the omakase were very nice and friendly, and would have small conversations with us while making omakase. They were very knowledgeable on the different types of sushi they were making as they serve it to us. Ambience was great and the experience was great. This is by far my top omakase place to go to and I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Omakase for the first time.“
“This mom-and-pop hole in the wall sushi joint isn't aiming for Nobu, and that's part of its charm. With top-notch fish quality and surprisingly generous portion sizes, it's a unique experience. The large order, a feast for 5-6 adults, comes with an abundance of ginger, enough to start your own sushi joint.A friendly suggestion: pre-mixing the spicy tuna and salmon with their sauce, seasoned with Ichimi togarashi, could add an extra layer of flavor. Run by a mom and pop, this place exudes potential. I'll be back, perhaps on a quieter day, excited to delve deeper into what this unpretentious spot has to offer.“
“A dependable spot for a quick bite of lunch. Their employees are always efficient and courteous. I frequently pick up either a kimbab or one of their lunch specials - delicious and great value. They recently put some work into upgrading their decor as well, so if you want to sit down and watch some Korean language television while you eat, also a good option“
“Best sushi in White Plains by a good bit.Service in-house is also excellent and it’s very affordable for the quality of the food. Genuinely surprised there isn’t a line to get in this place, everything I’ve ever had has been fantastic.“
“Everything about this experience was top notch: food, service, and atmosphere. Everything about the place really lets the food shine, though. We had the sushi plates where the chef chooses. Every bite was better than the last. If I had one note, it would be to please tell me what everything is when setting the plate down! I thought I knew, but quickly realized that I wasn't familiar with everything. I'll have to go back soon so I can try it all again and ask.“
“There are plenty of things I like about his place. I like that it’s a simple straightforward menu so the process of choosing and ordering is quick and straightforward. Furthermore, I noticed that they prepare orders extremely quickly so this is a great spot for a very quickly available hot meal to-go. I like that they care about offering value for money since they offer weekly deals and happy hours. And the prices to begin with are pretty good (eg ~$12/ $13/ $14 for a bowl depending on choice of protein). The food itself is delicious. The pork in the pork “bánh mi” sandwich was cooked perfectly —perfectly juicy and succulent and very tasty. I found the grain bowl with chicken really satisfying too : the wheat berries were the perfect consistency and the chicken was also very well cooked, juicy and tasty. They offer an assortment of different sauces to accompany your order : the tahini and chipotle mayonnaise ones were delicious. The girls preparing the order were super friendly and helpful ?.*have not tried the Bao bun yet but very keen to try it. They do a Bao bun happy hour in the late afternoon: $3/ Bao.“
“Everything you could ever want in a super awesome quality all you can eat sushi place. They’re always so nice and never get Khangri as we order in small batches but frequently, so we never waste food. You should too! They always seem happy to see us. Tip well. Sometimes I swear they must lose money on us.“
“I went to Tappan Sushi with my husband for lunch who is from Uruguay. He was not into korean, japanese type food but that changed it all when we first came here. I am korean and i need to have my korean food and japanese sushi, sashimi!!!Always great food and service is great. This is our 5th or 6th visit. There are 2 very attentive and friendly waitresses and they are always working. Super great people. Also the sushi chef, the same sushi chef when i go there always greets us when we come in. That is how it should be, greeting customers in a friendly manner. One big thumbs up, the food comes right away, that is the way all restaurants should be. Plus, extremely fresh fish and all the foods i have tried. Cant say enough good things about this restaurant. The Restroom is super clean, smells like fresh Clorox which means they clean it daily. The owner, i think is korean have the best staff and chef.Thank you Tappan Sushi!See you again soon!“
“Perfect cute spot for a date night. The sushi rolls are really unique — loved the one with Brussels sprouts on top. The servers are all super helpful with answering questions and giving recommendations. They were also accommodating of my food allergy which I always appreciate. Highly recommend!“
“I adore Menya; they are my go-to place in New Jersey for ramen. They have great takeout, but I also eat there a lot. At their Parker Ave location, I enjoyed their lobster miso ramen, which was a special release. It was quite tasty! It's not surprising that everything tasted amazing because they always do a fantastic job. If you haven't already, I highly suggest looking them up!“
“I like this restaurant. We went for dinner and not busy at all.. no wait... ample parking spots.. friendly waiter.. fast service.. good food..clean and no foul odor.. they also have healthy options which I like.. they're specialty roll are buy 2 get 1 free.. each specialty roll minimum $13.95..“
“Phenomenal sushi place- the food is high quality, the workers are nice, and the ambiance is calming. They have this orange sauce (not sure what it's called) that's like an addictive cream- it's spicy, sweet, and pairs with everything.“
“I’ve ordered food for pickup a few times and was never disappointed. The fish is always fresh and the sushi is one of the best in the area without a doubt. It’s a small hole in the wall so it’s very easy to miss but PLEASE PLEASE GIVE IT A TRY!!“
“Came here for dinner, small lower level with more seating upstairs, ordered 2 rolls- 1 trio and 1 eel avocado, 1 seafood curry and 1 shrimp tempura udon. Service was fast. It gets pretty busy so highly recommend calling to make a reservation.“
“What is this place doing in Tarrytown?! It's great food with a fun menu and atmosphere. I tried the umami bomb with the uni and the fish was all super fresh and delicious. Table also got gyoza and the dirty avocado - both which were great. Really good service and good music. Plus BYOB which is the best.“
“Great Japanese spot in the port Washington neighborhood. We had a party of 10, ordered a large sushi/sashimi, 5 different rolls, a couple appetizers and udon for the kiddos. The fish was good quality. The udon was an adult size even though it was from the kids menu. Everything was excellent. Check came out cheaper than I thought for that quality.“
“This was great! Saw the GF markings on the menu and knew we had to try! Split the 6 person order and it was so much food; just asked the waitress about GF options and all the sauces are GF. Just look at the menu and advocate for yourself! The food was AMAZING and I did not get glutened! Highly recommend, a must go spot for any foodies“
“When I'm in Tarrytown, I dread going to either McDonald's or a pizzeria with expensive slices. Thank goodness I stumbled on Osaka.I visited Osaka today and ordered a chicken teriyaki, with miso soup, white rice and salad. The service, food and prices (a few dollars more than going to pay for a McDonald's meal or two slices and a drink) were excellent. The chicken had great flavor, while the miso soup did not disappoint.“
“A sweet, cozy in Scarsdale's downtown. The sweet couple who own and run it don't speak much English, but being there feels a bit like eating in their home. This is my six-year-old's favorite restaurant. We like the vegetable dumplings most of all.“
“For the past 2 months, I've been to 25 different Chinese restaurants ordered the same dish...Genera Tso Chicken. In all these restaurants, was the Best !!!! No doubt, I'll be going back again, and again, and again. You got the idea.“
“My friends decided to make a formal meeting at one hotspot rumored to be one of the best Japanese restaurants in New Rochelle. Sakana sounds so good to my ears, so we as an entrepreneurial company went to collaborate and dine. The restaurant is fabulous and well-designed, with deep, sensual blues and purples setting the mood for a chill relaxation. Waiting for the food was easy with the friendly waitress, and I enjoy the customs I use to respond to her polite service. The food was spectacular in both view and flavor. The Bento Box felt like a sweet assortment of sushi and seasoned meat, like choosing delicacy from a box of chocolates. The well-done Beef Negimaki was bite-friendly, and enjoyed the sauce that complemented the sautéed onions. I have to thank my friend for covering the modest costs of this meeting. I am satisfied with the price, given that there are five of us ordering to our hearts’ content. Each of us would have contributed 35 for our respective dishes. I have paid more than that price in other restaurants with three guests including myself. I love Sakana, and I would go back to have a customary relaxation with my friends and family.Vegetarian options: The main theme of Sakana is its sushi and sashimi selections, almost all of which are seafood based. Top non-meat sushi rolls include the Eel Avocado Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll. In addition, there are desserts such as Mochi Ice Cream. Vegans can try Sushi Appetizers such as the Crispy Famous Pancake and the Tuna Dumpling. Soups are available for a vegan diet, such as Miso Soup and Seafood Soup.Kid-friendliness: Due to the kid-friendly nature, large space and homestyle vibe of Sakana, children with their families will be able to dine at this restaurant. No suggestive symbols or pictures are found. There is large room for accompanied children to freely relax and enjoy the delicious Japanese cuisine.“
“I love this place. I’ve gotten take out here every few weeks for many, many years, and every time it’s wonderful. The people working there, especially the woman who has run the counter and I think has managed the place for all the years it’s been open, are fabulous. Times when I get sushi it’s always good, fresh, nice, basically as it should be. Lots of rolls, all of them tight and clean (I like the California roll because I’m basic and I seriously love imitation crab, no joke). But mostly I like “kitchen food,” like the gyoza, the rock shrimp tempura (just those two with white rice is enough for me). The black bean salmon is really good too. I’m so glad they’re still here in DF.“
“I visted Tasty House on 9/30/23. I purchased a sesame chicken with brown rice combination plate as well as a pint of broccoli in garlic sauce! I also had chicken wings, which were plump and juicy. The food was delicious and their staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they might be.“
“Coming to this place looked kinda weird because we thought it was closed and we were gonna leave but we saw somebody leave and we noticed it was open. We went in and I got misu ramen and calpico which were so good but I feel that the atmosphere was a bit too much and very loud music but overall me and my friends had a very good time“
“Always the tastiest food and amazing service. We love going here and our kids love it even more than we do! Also, being that I had a crazy day, after dinner I forgot my purse when we left, and only realized when we got home that I didn’t have it. I called them and they told me they had it safely put away for me until I went back the next day to get it. Couldn’t ask for better service than that!“
“The ambiance is awesome! I highly recommend Hanami Restaurant in Cresskill. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Special thanks to Apple, Danny, Jeff, and Bing ( sushi chefs ) . Never been disappointed as we come and dine three times a week.“
“I’ve always frequent this place with my partner and the food always tastes fresh and delicious. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I love that I can get a hand roll without rice and the seafood soup is always good. Thomas is a really good server and always friendly.“
“Unpretentious savory delight. These words probably best describe and define a fine (and old) sushi restaurant in the heart of Port Washington area. This restaurant is located directly across from the LIRR station, so it makes sense for commuters to fall in love with this place. However, you will immediately find out that this place is enamored by locals and tourists alike. I never lived in Port Washington, but this is one of my favorite sushi restaurants. No other place simply can catch up with Yamaguchi in terms of culinary excellence and the value. They just raised the price is Sushi A set substantially to $27. But where in NY can you get 8 pcs of top-notched nigiri + tuna roll. And a bowl of miso soup? And complimentary edamame? Please enlighten me if you know who can outcompete.Seriously we need Yamaguchi in every town of America. It’s an understatement when I say I am getting sick of $150 omakase place taking over every major US cities. I don’t need golden spoon, I don’t need caviar on the torched salmon. I just need some good sushi meals under $30. Thank you Yamaguchi!“
“Very sweet and fresh food, we just love our experience every time we go. Excellent service. The traditional Japanese and Chinese desserts are to die for.Vegetarian options: My daughter is vegetarian and she never complains, she always has a great time and there are more then enough dishes to pick from.“
“Absolutely thrilled with my experience at this sushi restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality. The ambiance was delightful, setting the perfect mood for a fantastic meal. The menu was a true culinary journey, offering an impressive variety of fresh and creative sushi rolls. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that danced on my taste buds. The staff's knowledge and passion for sushi were evident, as they guided me through my choices and even accommodated my dietary preferences. Without a doubt, this restaurant has earned every one of its five stars for its impeccable service, exquisite dishes, and unforgettable dining experience. Can't wait to return for more!“
