“This is my go-to place for biryani. The best I've had! Light, fluffy and delicately spiced. The food is so good and the staff are so friendly it's like my 2nd home! The gongura biryani (veg or chicken) is probably my favourite, also really like the mughlai chicken biryani.”

The chicken was delicious, crispy but juicy on the inside.

There are maybe a total of 7 tables in the restaurant so it is not good for big groups.

I found the restaurant to be stuffy and there were a lot of flies.. was not impressed.

“The food was great. I dined in here with a couple of friends around 9 and there was plenty of seating and parking. I got the gladiator burger with an extra patty, mushrooms, extra cheese, a fried egg, grilled cheese buns, and bacon. We also got a poutine to go with our meal. The cashier was very friendly, opting me to modify that burger (Gladiator) because they don't sell the General Maximus anymore. The price came out to $37.30 for that and a canned coke. The price is reasonable, I've definitely been charged more for similar servings at different restaurants. I am happy with the experience.”

The restaurant is noisy and very busy with a lot of patrons talking, servers moving around, robots picking up dishes, etc. but the place had a nice vibe. The washrooms were okay (first visit was clean, second visit a bit unkempt), and the service was incredibly attentive for some place that was so busy. A fun place to eat, and the food was excellent.”

“I popped in last Thursday night after an intense hockey game. The bartender Eva, took great care of us. The service was lightning fast, beers were freezing cold and the wings are out of this world and on top of it all they were half price. The big kahuna hockey club will be back again real soon.”

Came w/ a large group of friends after a saturday badminton session.

You have to kinda enter from a sketchy back entrance. The server wasn't the friendliest but she was prompt when we needed her which was good.

The portion sizes are nice and big. They have pork bone soup which uses the traditional spine of the pig but they also have pork and pork ribs soup (which they're always sold out of .... sad face). You can get your gamjatang w/ noodles though which is cool.

I liked the flavour of the supreme chicken but it's a shame that the chicken wasn't that crispy. I say this with all honesty. The chicken was slightly overcooked because while the meat wasn't dry, it certainly wasn't juicy either. The taste was on point though.

4 stars overall (5 if the chicken had been crispy).

Will be back for sure because of those huge portions!”

In fact, I can eat it by itself. The Greek salad is so fresh and I love the dressing. I like their Greek salad better than those at Greek restaurants. Overall, I am just happy to have a quality restaurant near my home where I can go to get quality food anytime.”

Locations do not offer the full breakfast menu at all. Since our first visit to this location we have found all of the staff to be so accommodating, courteous kind and very helpful. Diane was our young lady on the order desk, she like the other staff are worth their weight in gold as they excel in all of the customer service area that are essential to complete customer satisfaction. Diane and all the staff at this location are # TEN.”

“This was my first time visiting The Burger Alley. The menu is Harry Potter inspired and all the names are so fun. We had the Sirius Black and the Dragons Kiss, a side of Alley fries and a deep fried Mozzarella piece. The owner's were so nice and welcoming. There is a huge window from where you can actually see into the kitchen and you will see how clean their kitchen and surroundings are. Will definitely go back and even suggest to my family and friends.”

“We came because you have good reviews. We found out that Gyu Hito is an amazing go-to-place for delicious Japanese AYCE BBQ! The restaurant has a modern feel to it and the staff is incredibly attentive to our food needs. Such good service! “We had the Uni tasting menu at Shizuku, and every dish was a masterpiece. The monkfish profiterole was unexpectedly one of the stars—perfectly balanced, rich, and delicate all at once. The abalone was incredibly tender and clean, and the trout was buttery with just the right touch of umami.

The highlight of the night, though, was the uni. We were lucky enough to try murasaki, aka and bafun uni, and they were truly exceptional—fresh, creamy, and luxuriously briny in all the best ways. It’s rare to find that level of quality uni in Toronto, and it completely elevated the experience.

Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance is understated and intimate. If you’re a seafood lover or a fan of refined Japanese cuisine, Shizuku is a must-visit.

“Absolute gem in Scarborough! Where else can you get dim sum at 3am? The food can be a hit or miss (forget about getting general tao you're familiar with) but the dim sum never disappoints. Besides the convenience, what sets this place apart from other Chinese restaurants is the service. Alfred was our waiter and really made our dining experience excellent. Super funny and incredibly attentive. I will always keep coming back here.”

The combo with dim sum is unique too.. loved the Beef Tripe and Sticky Rice. I’d stay away from the Peking Duck however, it doesn’t include crispy skin.

You also get a nice ambiance with dine-in, can hold a conversation without shouting. Only reco here is for more playlist variety.. they had Taylor Swift on repeat.. for nearly 2 hours.”
