“Wonderful food and service! We came here on a whim. It was an excellent decision. The staff was fantastic and prompt. They immediately made us feel welcomed, and the food was beyond words?”
“Great experience, amazing to have a completely gluten free restaurant so as someone with celiac I have no worry. There was about a 20 minute wait when we went in on a busy Friday night, the owner was very quick to come around and ask if anyone would like drinks. The chips and salsa are amazing (warm chips & amazing guacamole, avocado tasted very fresh). Had 3 tacos and it was very filling. Server was attentive and reliable. Overall I’m happy to continue supporting this local business.”
“This food is the best I’ve ever had!! Such a creative and unique place with the books and games, calming atmosphere, and the authentic and gourmet food specially created by the owners. We had a great time and I can’t wait to go back!”
“Ordered a shake with a cherry, but I didn't want to interrupt the workers chatting with each other to get one. No biggie, but it's why I downgraded the service. Food is a fav, though we usually get take-out.”
“The tatami room experience was awesome. The best place to experience authentic Japanese cuisine with a great ambience.Parking: The street parking spots are usually easy to find. But if you are planning to go there in the weekend, finding a parking spot nearby might be more difficult.Kid-friendliness: You can bring your kids.”
“Great sushi, sashimi and soups. Fast delivery. Can get crowded peak hours and wait is longer. But crowded for reasons mentioned. Will revisit when we’re back in town.”
“Honestly it's 4stars because I couldn't just comment, and I've only been there once. But it was yummy and I would definitely go back. My brother took me there during my lunch break not too long ago ~ so it will always be a special place to me.”
“We had their soup special, tomato artichoke. It was amazing. Served with warm pita slices. It’s are favorite place to eat. Staff is always so nice and friendly. All the food carts serve authentic style food. Fun to try something new, not just typical burgers and fries. Beer is amazing and you can’t beat the price. Staff is a wealth of information on the beers they serve. Highly recommend!!”
“I love the food. I recommend anyone to try itParking: It is easy to get a parking areaKid-friendliness: yes, families bring their children. It is nice to see children.”
“Service was excellent. Great historic building looks incredible inside, on waterfront. Food was better than excellent, had poor experience at different location.”
“Their phone wasn't answering so I went by to see what was up. Looks like they're out of business. Not sure why Corvallis cannot sustain a barbecue. This is the fourth one I've seen come up and ”
“I got to try the Wit today and I was nervous hearing coriander in a beer based on past experiences with spices in other beers. It was perfectly balanced and lives up to the refreshing reputation. Highly recommend!”
“Good cocktails, good pizza, and usually an eclectic beer selection. They also make infused liquor in big jars. Always something interesting on the cocktail menu!”
“Drinks were great. I ordered the chef special which was a beef pasta. Portion could've fed two people. I also came back for breakfast the next day. I got an omelet which was small but tasty.”
“Such good brunch. We made reservations and got in on time. The atmosphere is great, staff were wonderful, and the food options, brunch drinks and coffee were all wonderful!”
“The on-campus restaurant for burgers, chicken tenders and milkshakes. It's a pretty solid place and you will get exactly what you expect. There is also one in the McNary Dinning hall. If you don't know what else to eat, eat at Calabloo's.”
“No waiting for early eve meal for 5; only one waiter for the place at that time made for not a lot of attention to tables; ordered pho, veggie curry, satays...all good flavor.”
“Loved it!! The atmosphere is a little dated, and the exterior of the building could use some TLC, but oh my goodness this food was great. Some great sushi and the steak in the bento box was so good! We also got the Chicken Udon and that was very good, with very generous portions as well. Definitely going to come here again!!”
“For this particular meal I opted for takeout. So keep in mind that my review is based on the fact that I did not eat at the restaurant, I took it back to the hotel.I would have to say the food was phenomenal. As I ate the hot and sour soup, the broth has such an amazing flavor, and the soup has a variety of ingredients that make it so delicious. The main entrée that I ordered was General TSO’s chicken with fried rice and two potstickers. The pot stickers are fried, not steamed, which was fine, just letting you know. And keep in mind that since I ate at the hotel, it meant that they were cold by the time I was able to eat them. However, they did have good flavor. The fried rice acts like a sticky rice, and has some good flavor, but I missing some of the extras that I would typically find in a fried rice. There are no vegetables in the fried rice only seasoning and scrambled egg. However the flavor was still very good. The chicken did come with lots of veggies. There are onions, peppers, carrots, mixed in with the chicken and there’s a lot of sauce with the chicken, which I love.I was happy to see that they provided me with all of the utensils that I would need for eating in the hotel. It’s surprising how many restaurants forget to add forks, spoons, napkins, etc.If I was to provide any kind of negative point to this review, it would be that the chicken does seem a little chewy. However, the flavor is great, so I’m kind of overlooking that.Google maps says that they allow for dining however, when I showed up to pick up my meal, all the tables were piled up on one side of the room with the chairs, which made me think that they are only doing deliveries and take outs.On a sidenote, one thing to look out for is how they package everything up. Some restaurants give you the flimsy Styrofoam containers. However, this place gave some very sturdy plasticware, which meant that it would last in the travel back to the hotel.I was very satisfied with this DinnerI would love to give this place, five stars, however, I did not want to forget about the fact that the chicken was chewy.**Edit**I almost forgot to mention that there is virtually no parking near the place. The only place you can park is on the street parking which was really full. I ended up parking in a private lot and thankfully didn’t get towed since I was only picking up dinner. if you have two people, it might be a good idea to drop somebody off to pick up the food while the other person goes around the block a couple of times.”
“Seems pizza dough recipe is not the same, it's OK but not great. Still, my go to for easy fast food as decent toppings, price point, for the just don't have time or energy for home cooked meal nite.”
“We had a bit of a reunion / celebration of life for a colleague at Block 15 Tap Room in the Barrel Room. It was perfect! After a bit of confusion over the reservation they quickly prepped the room and we began. The drinks were all good and the food was delicious! We will definite be going back!”
“I don't typically eat fast food, but sometimes on the road, your options are limited, especially as a vegetarian. Their plant based burger was pretty good, with thoughtful fresh ingredients.”
“Had excellent rock fish, masters, asparagus in burre blanc sauce. Cooked perfectly, served hot. Great, attentive service. Excellent slice of coconut cream pie finished off this notable meal!”
“The Tzatiki, falafel and hummus were all amazing. The only complaints were we did not know the lamb KEBABS were ground lamb, would not order that again. Also it was intolerably hot in there so we boxed up our food and left. People were really nice. I would have left the door open for a little air to go through.”
