“Food was excellent. Server had a fantastic attitude but took a while to take our order and bring refills on drinks...and brought wrong drinks (sweet instead of unsweet). It was a pleasant experience and we will go back, but it wasn't the best I've ever had.“

“If I could give more stars for service I would. From when I came through the doors to when I left I was welcomed, seated promptly, waited on immediately, menu explained and food started coming. Now let's talk the food, do not skip the shabu, it is a 5 dollar additional fee, but we'll worth it, and the mushroom choices are soo tasty. I had shrimp, steak, kalbi, salmon and they were all very good. Definitely coming back Herr, bring your appetite.“

“I work nearby and my friends and I are regulars. I have never been disappointed here. The staff know us by name, they know our usual orders, and they are an integral part of why this place is one of our favorites. Then there's the food; yum, delicious, amazing, wow, and oh yeah!“

“Brought my family here for lunch on a Saturday. I got the medium ribs and hot tenders along with the dragon fries and mac n cheese. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the medium heat level was just right to give it just the right amount of heat without it being overwhelming. The dragon fries were well seasoned and the Mac was delicious. They're the type of food that you keep on eating even though you're stuffed because they taste so good.My only complaint would be the chicken strips. They were dry, hard and stringy. That being said, I'll definitely be returning based on the other dishes.I'd recommend the texas hot spice for those that truly love spicy. Initially you don't feel it but the heat definitely builds over time! Looking forward to trying their AMF heat to see what it's all about.“

“They came by our apts today, super nice, food was seriously on point.. we caught them as they were gonna get ready to head out and we’re blessed with xtra rice,beans, and Mac.. Customer service goes a long way and they def got that covered.. 3rs Fri of the mnth you can find em at the Wal Mart parking lot off De Zavala and I-10.. Prices are very reasonable and def fair for the quality your getting..Thank you guys for making our Fri night dinner an awesome one“

“Loved dinner at Fred’s! Here on a business trip & after driving by Fred’s every day we decided to check it out on our last night & wow, definitely worth a visit. I had a two meat platter (brisket & pulled pork) with green beans & Mac & cheese & everything was delicious. Fred was awesome with food customer service & sitting at a picnic table in the warm Texas sunshine with a hot plate & cold Coke was the best. Picture attached was after I started eating; it all smelled so good I jumped in before taking a picture- portions are large & generous.“

“I stopped in for a quick lunch by myself and decided to sit in instead of takeout. Simple Korean lunch of kalbi ribs, and banchan for 20 bucks?! You simply can’t go wrong with this place. All the banchan dishes were phenomenal and the beef was tender and tasty. Definitely coming back.“

“Visited for the first time today. Got 2- 2 meat plates, one with brisket and turkey with greenbeans and junkie beans and the other jalapeño sausage and brisket with mac and cream corn. The brisket was damn good ( the bark was perfect), sausage was good and the turkey was moist and actually had flavor. However, the mac was trash, bland no flavor and mushy. The greenbeans were so hot like they were microwaved, the junkie beans were just okay I didn't care for the bbq sauce or the dry chunks of meat in them. The cream corn was THICK with more cream than corn, definitely more of a cream corn salad. The front of the restaurant was dark and could use more light vs the back. Definitely didn't feel nor look like a bbq spot. Service was mediocre at best. Nobody had a welcoming attitude and when I asked one of the employees about the bbq her response was less than polite. We would return just for the brisket but not much else.“

Marble brisket, sausage, and chicken.Normally, I avoid chicken at barbecue places because it tends to be dry, but this chicken was perfection seasoned Well, yummy skin. Marbled brisket was tender, sausage had a nice crisp to the skin but juicy meat. Dee's beans were very good, and the star was the sweet potato casserole! It was such a treat. “Juicy, tender and tasty brisket with barbecue sauce, with potato salad and coleslaw. Also try their beans. Couldn't fit that in this time. This was my second visit. Had the beans last time. Everything tastes homemade. Even the marinated onions and pickles add flavor.“

“This is some good eatin! The menu was small, but that’s ok. The brisket was tender, juicy and very flavorful. My family and i all ordered brisket meals - tacos, sandwiches and dinner entrees. Even though the sides weren’t my favorite taste, the serving was big. The warm tortilla chips were the best I’ve had in a long time. I definitely recommend this place. They have a very beautiful bar top and a fun atmosphere. We met Josh, Jewel and other staff members were friendly and helpful. We will be back on a weekend night to enjoy the entertainment. “Food is great, service can be mixed. I eat here at least twice a month. I like it, food is always good and consistent but the service varies greatly, it can be quick or slow. Check togo orders, more than once I have not had sauce or a Musubi., etc. Katsu, molakai chicken, BBQ chicken all solid, Mac salad is awesome. Only thing I would not suggest is the lumpia, they are expensive for the size and don't have a lot of flavor.“

“Oh my goodness! We had bbq, ribs and brisket along with Mac and cheese, collards, fries and pinto beans. Everything was delicious and we even got takeout out for the next nights supper (we are visiting from South Carolina). The bbq sauce is amazing! Highly recommend if you want some great food!!“

The ribs are cooked to perfection 9as is the brisket etc.) I love the potato salad! The corn, mac n cheese etc are all great. Of course a BBQ place is only as good as their sauce and Smokey Mo's regular and spicy are both great. Finally, the staff is incredibly friendly. We've been here less than a month and they've seen that red Tesla parked outside for pick up almost every week. Highest possible recommendation!“

Melt in your mouth moist brisket & the pinto beans were great! “I went to Dignowity in search of of a place to eat and watch the women's basket ball game for my nephew. Both my nephew and I were amazed at how courteous and accommodating they were to us. They gracefully turned the TV to the channel that the game was playing. The outdoors vibe matched the mood of the game and food. And both the service and food were amazing!“

“Despite its location which could mislead people, it is close to a motel and a gas station, it is a restaurant of absolute quality. I took the "el Rodeo deluxe" and it was all really good as well as really filling. If I had another day available I would have liked to try their parillada. The dessert, however, did not stand up to the comparison with the dish, it was rather anonymous as it was packaged. In any case, I would strongly advise you to stop by if you are staying in the area.“
