“For Fathers Day of 2020 my daughter gifted me a subscription to the Texas Coffee Club, where once a month I receive a bag of fresh roasted goodness from a TX roaster. Last month (May) I got a bag of Gold Stripe CR/Spro Bot whole bean coffee. When I opened the box and the aroma hit me before opening the bag I knew it was gonna be good. The flavor notes listed on the bag are spot on. Nice body, lightly nutty, little sweet and all round wonderful flavor. Great coffee! Brew: French Press Preference: Black”

“This was our first visit to Stella’s Restaurant. We were greeted with a smile and seated without any wait. Our server, Erata, was gracious, welcoming, kind and was extremely helpful. We asked for her recommendations from our cocktails to dinner and desert, and she was spot on. The blueberry martini and the dirty martini were the best we’ve had in a very long time. We had such a delicious meal, the veal piccata with angel hair pasta and the veal parmigiana on spaghetti, was cooked to perfection. We topped it all off with a crème brûlée, that was out of this world. This was a dining experience that we won’t soon forget and we will make Stella’s a must place to go to, whenever we visit Lubbock. The staff were very professional, Erata is a great representative of this establishment. We felt that the dining area was well appointed and very comfortable. Highly recommended!”

“I went to a Whataburger back in 2017 and was not impressed with it, but my coworkers wanted to head here for lunch so I decided to try it again. I ordered the bacon and cheese Whataburger meal with only lettuce, and it came with a medium fries and medium drink. The people working were very friendly. I placed my order at the counter and then sat down to wait for my meal. They came out and brought it to me, and then had a caddy of sauces. I got some ketchup. I enjoyed my food! It was a lot of food, and the french fries were crispy and went great with the Whataburger-branded ketchup. They have a spicy ketchup available as well, and that one had an interesting taste. The burger itself was very good and filling. For about $12, this meal was really good. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. I would definitely come back to Whataburger after this experience!”

“I ordered a 6" Black Forest Ham sub with southwest Chipotle dressing on their new artisan bread. The bread was a nice improvement and upgrade over their old bread. Ingredients were fresh, sandwich prep area was clean. Service was prompt and courteous. A nice change if your looking for something quick and you can have it anyway you like, that's the great part.”

“This is definitely one of the top authentic Mexican restaurants in Lubbock. Each visit has blown me away. The carne asada fries (forgot to take photo) are something to die for. Piled completely full with meat, it’s enough food for two meals or perfect to share with a partner. Everything else I’ve had is also perfection. The owners and employees are the nicest people. Can’t recommend this place enough.”

“Oh dang!! I ordered a lemon flavored Stitch inspired cake for my granddaughter`s birthday. It was delicious and decorated perfectly. The lemon was very subtle but definitely flavorful. I also ordered a dozen brownies and everyone said they were the best brownies they ever had... baked perfectly, thick, perfect chocolate taste, moist. I'll definitely be back as a repeat customer!”

“The Monomyth in Lubbock Texas: Nowadays I find myself in the Yee-Haw part of the state. That means that the coffee can double as paint thinner, and the coffee shops are designed off of prisons. Recently however, I had the chance to see an Don Giovanni in Lubbock Texas, where the person who played Don Octavio stole the show. He did nothing to help, and sang beautifully. Remarkable. While in Lubbock for my crossover episode with all the old Wesley +Laureen, we went to the Monomyth, a Coffee Shop. No only was the shop not a prison, but the coffee didn't come with its own chemical code. While that is all well and good, it invites something different to fill the gap, hipsters, and hipsters they were. Styled beards, flannel shirts, flared mustaches, light leather boots, jeans, and man buns. I felt as if I was behind enemy lines and it was difficult to get my bearings, so that I could order. I'm not fluent in hipster, but I can hold a conversion, so I was confident in my ability to order. "Should I do drip or bar" "We have a single origin Honduras on Bar" which caused Don Octavio's eyes to shoot out lasers and him to rip off his shirt revealing the Honduran Flag tatted on his chest. At least that's how I imagine he felt. "Sounds good, I'll have a latte" He corrected me, "You'll have a cap" And a cappuccino I had, and he was right it is what I wanted. I just didn't know. A near perfect barista experience where they can size me up and correct my order based on what they know they have and what they think I want and be correct about it. As for the drink itself, the milk was over steamed with visible bubbles, and while their was foam art it would have benefited from a slower initial pour. However, the espresso did a hard carry. The sweetness melded with the sour to make a thoroughly enjoyable drink. If I were to go again I would get just the espresso, the milk only took away from what I can surmise to be the unyielding power of Honduras.”

“Please reduce the volume of the music. Since its opening last year, the early morning and late-night loud music has been difficult for the neghborhood. While it's certainly better than during the initial promotional month last year, it can still be quite loud, particularly louder on weekends, starting as early as 7 AM. Please keep in mind that this particular location is right next to residential homes, and the noise has been challenging for the residents. It has significantly affected the quality of life in my household and my neighbors. Many people I have talked to seem appreciate your products and service over the past year, but I kindly ask that you consider being a good neighbor by keeping the noise level down. My intention is not to hurt your review, not lowering my rating, but I wanted to communicate this concern.”

“Excellent coffee spot! ? I ordered the Christmas Cookie latte and it’s the best (dessert) coffee I’ve ever had! Perfectly executed! The ambience is so modern and happy! The staff are all upbeat and smiling. Kenzie took my order and went above and beyond explaining all the customizations that Summer Moon had to offer and let me sample what I was unsure about. 10/10 recommend!!”

“Best fried pies!!! My fiancé is a veteran Marine and doesn’t celebrate his own bday, but celebrates the Marines bday. I figured I’d make the day special as for him and order his favorite apricot pies. I went to pick them up and they had already sold out… TWICE! But the owner was nice enough to come out and offer to make some special. So I got his apricot pies, plus some cherry and apple. My household LOVED them! Plus he was so excited. Said the flakiness and the butteriness of the dough was perfect and the filling was delicious! We’re hooked!!!”

“The food was good and service was friendly. However there is one thing that needs to be addressed. When the cashier hands you the cups, she puts her fingers inside the cup. This is unsanitary. Please train your employees to handle the cups from the outside and NOT put their fingers inside the cups. I haven’t eaten inside the restaurant in awhile, but I usually place to go orders.”

Quiet ? and Relaxing ?
I give five stars on the serving Amount, I bought the 4 meat fried rice Beef, Chicken, Pork and Shrimp
For the amount that you get $14.02 wasn’t bad at all.
However, It was LACKING FLAVOR VERY BLAND it needs some extra seasonings maybe like some ONION powder and some GARLIC powder. My plate was a little bit too DRY None of the meats?????had any moisture/liquid, Even the Tomatoes ? were dry. I will definitely ? try again maybe ? something different.

I would kidnap him if I were to open an eatery. Jaycee is an excellent manager and waitress, always has a big smile. All the customers always seem to have a great time. Hospitality is wonderful, great food and a great venue.”

“Any time that you can leave a restaurant full, happy and with some food to take with us, well that's a good meal. What started off as a slow service and possibly disappointing meal was quickly turned around by the manager/bartender on duty. The food was really good, very well priced and the restaurant itself was very clean and comfortable and dare I say it- a really good deal and strong value for dinner. I had the 10oz sirloin. It was lean and meaty and perfect. The Aspen Grill Chicken salad was big and generous amounts of chicken were given. The kids meals were also great value for money. We don't live here in Lubbock, but would definitely come back if coming through town and we needed a sit down meal.”
