Turkey dinner was great and southwest tacos were good.

The staff was mostly awesome, could have done without listening to host bad mouthing fellow employees and other guests while waiting for our table.”

“We had lunch today on the porch! LED off with Fried Oyster appetizer! Spicy Crunchy Trout with Broccoli and roasted potatoes and a really nice side salad. My wife had the Three Seafood Salad with Salmon and Shrimp. I know there was another seafood item but she can’t remember. But the waitress was so professional and in these days…she was so good! I wish we’d gotten the Fried Brie appetizer! A little hard to Locate back in behind the other shops but they were also fun! Very good bread as well!!!!”

“As a former McD manager I was impressed with drive thru speed of a simple order. After driving a mile to sample the 2XQPC and fries I found food extra hot and fresh.

One of the best McD I’ve had is at Kuala Lumpur International AirPort. The meal today was on par or better. Very good food. Nataly the cashier was very efficient. Congratulations to the whole team for a great experience.”

If you wait long enough someone will take your order but there is no menu for you to look at, unless you go to a self ordering kiosk. Owner is very nice and they sometimes have free drink samples. I've seen some people walk out when they realize it's kiosk only.”

“We had lunch yesterday ( Fathers Day ) at Root Cellar. Upon arrival we were told that it was about a 50 minute wait. I saw several open tables inside that needed to be cleaned off plus 3 open tables outside that needed to be cleaned but there was a 50 minute wait???? This was the first time visiting for my wife & I but not for our kids. The waiter came & took our drink order at which time I told him I wanted ice tea & I wanted my glass full of ice none of this 1/3 or 1/4 full. Well the waiter wasn't listening or paying attention I got a glass of ice tea with little ice. When he came back to refill my tea glass I reminded him that I wanted a full glass of ice, he began to lecture how a full glass of ice was going to water down my tea. Dude, don't lecture me, this old man been around the sun a few more times than you. The waiter took our order of food which turned out to be mostly sandwiches. The menu stated that each sandwich came with kettle chips & then there were sides that you could add if you wanted, I ordered a side mac & cheese to which I got a lecture from the waiter. When we got our food instead kettle chips we got kettle chip pieces, what was left in the bottom of the bag everyone else already the chips so we got the crushed chips from the bottom of the bag. Come on Root Cellar I think you can do better than that.”

Curt grabbed the Rocky Road and I went with the Banana Pudding protein shake — both were excellent, super flavorful, and smooth without that chalky protein taste. Food was good however the menu needs improvements. The descriptions were very vague and it didnt seem like a menu for a mexican restaurant.. So we went back to the list and chose Smokey Mo’s. I am so glad we did!!!My baked potato was so good, and there was no skimping on toppings! My two youngest had the ribs, and they were amazingly flavorful and fall-off-the-bone tender! The creamed corn was new to me, but so delicious! The turkey in the turkey sandwich was super juicy and tender, though slightly more salty than we prefer. But still delicious! We will be coming back every time we visit the area!!!”

Menu was incredibly easy to understand, so you know exactly what you’re getting which is great. Secondly, we came with a group of almost 10 people and my food was prepared in less than 19 minutes. “Today, my husband and I decided to get lunch at Las Palapas at Creekside in New Braunfels, on our way to Home Depot. We were greeted quickly. We were seated in Brooklyn's section. The food was hot, drinks were cold. Food arrived quickly. We had the Enchilada verdes plate and the super bowl, with a coupon for the mama ruth flauta plate. They were good, the shredded chicken was over salted but still edible. Our server, Brook, came to take our order quickly, when we ordered we asked for our drinks with no ice. She brought out mine correctly but my husbands had a full a glass of ice. She took it back and fixed it. While we were eating, she checked on us once after bringing out our food. When we asked for our bill, we asked for the military discount. When she brought out our bill, we handed her the gift card we had along with 20.00 cash to make up the difference. When she returned she brought out two 5 dollar bills. our change was supposed to be: $10.55. When we noticed it, we asked the other waitress in the area to ask her to come back to our table. When she was called to the table for us to explain about it the other waitress in the section was still there. When Brooke was told about the fact that we wanted the 55 cents, she took an attitude about us wanting our 55 cents. Saying: they want the 55 cents? while she was standing right in front of us. We should have called the manager at that moment. The way I feel is that she took the 55 cents. She should have given us the entire amount of change per our receipt, allowing us to choose tell her to keep it. As it was we were going to give her an 11.00 tip, once we discovered the change returned to us was not correct and she displayed an attitude, we changed the amount of tip to 1.55. We have talked to the manager about this issue as well. I used to work waiting on tables, I always give good tips, and I know the work is hard and sometimes you get bad customers, however: NEVER did I not give back the full change on the receipt. In my book that would have been considered stealing from the customer.”

It was so delicious and everyone commented and wanted to know where I bought it. You can bet this is going to be a monthly stop when I go meet our group. I received great customer service and they also furnished the cups and other condiments. The young woman who waited on me made me feel like the only customer of the day. Betty Lou Coffee Company is located on Landa Street close to Das Rec and I plan to go by and pick up a cup whenever I am in that area of NB.”

It was all phenomenal. I got the pink cold foam everytime it is such a cute touch. They have two windows you can order from-we just walked up and sat at the pink picnic table.
