“What an adorable place with the most delicious, authentic German food we’ve ever had in the US. I had a lovely dry Riesling wine, pork weiner schnitzel with German potato salad & sauerkraut. It was a large portion & absolutely amazing. Hubby had veal weiner schnitzel & red cabbage. The veal was so tender. We loved it all & will definitely return next time we’re in New Braunfels. Make a reservation ahead of time. It’s cozy & quite popular. We didn’t have a reservation & it took about an hour to get a table, but it was really worth it!”

“We went for our first time. We were the only ones in the restaurant and service was very poor. We waited over 15 minutes for our check while the owner sat at another table chatting with someone. Food was good however the menu needs improvements. The descriptions were very vague and it didnt seem like a menu for a mexican restaurant.. And I have never been to a mexican restaurant that doesnt serve chips and salsa.”

“This place is by far the best pizza in town. Being from the northeast, we know what makes great pizza and this is a solid example.

Not only is the pizza great and in my opinion better than the other options in town, but the service is outstanding. Di goes out of her way to provide superior customer service. One day I had the kids in the car and they were both exhausted and sleeping and I didn't want to wake them up. I called around for a place that would do curbside and nobody agreed to do it for us to include another pizza place down the street. Di was the only business who would do that for us. Would post photos but we already smashed the pizza. I'm a regular here now!”

“They’re really great at giving you what you order. Seems like a standard but a lot of fast food around the area can’t consistently fulfill orders on the first try. They also give you the sauces you ask for unlike the popular chicken place just down the road that everyone likes for some reason.

“Bacon was cooked just the way I asked for floppy , eggs over easy were perfect and the 2 of the fluffiest pancakes 🥞 😋 great job all the way around the waitress brought extra napkins when when got our coffee didn't even have to ask !!! we ate at 2 I HOPS while on this trip and both were fantastic .”

“I love taking my girls here. It’s always clean, the staff is friendly, and most of all they keep the kids area, very clean. They also have one big touchscreen table in the kids area, and two small touch screens on tables in the front lobby. I wish I made it easier for the children to reach it because my daughter always asked me out halfway on the table to be able to play the game, but other than that it’s really good place to take your kids

Kid-friendliness: This place is definitely kid friendly. It’s the only McDonald’s. I know of. In new Braunfels. That has a huge player area for the kids”

“Service was slow for a McDonald’s. The order list screen was broken so I couldn’t tell if my mobile order was received. I couldn’t ask anyone at the counter because she walked away when I walked in and the 3 people who came in after me stood in line for a minute before giving up and going to the kiosk. Plus they’re rationing whipped cream on the frappes.”

“I've always seen comparisons between whataburger and in-and-out. I would definitely say it is a bigger patty at whataburger, the produce I would say seems a little fresher but I would still say I enjoy in-and-out more. Whataburger is still good though”

“Jolt is a drive-through place where you can find great coffee! Anyway, you asked the ladies to fix it, they can do it. Love this place. The only foods they have there are muffin tops, I hope one day they expand and decide to do some kolaches. They do wonderful kid size blended or unblended lemonades. They also have frozen favorites with booze, the flavors are amazing!”

“This is the best jersey Mike’s in the area. My husband and I have been longtime fans of Jersey Mike’s and moved to new Braunfels four years ago And before we had the option to go to this one, the other one, unfortunately Even though the food was great the experience was always horrible. This particular Jersey Mike’s not only has great Sandwiches, but the service is always welcoming and friendly. They seem happy to want to have customers which is something I think Jersey Mike’s should have. I’m grateful to have this one as an option to go to now. Keep up the good work you guys are great!”

“we came here today when we discovered Muck N Fuss had a long wait. While we love Muck N Fuss, I'm glad we came here! Great burgers and tots. I stuck with a classic burger (hold the mayo) and my husband got a chorizo burger. we tried the garlic parmesan tots and the cashier was very kind to make sure I understood there's mayo on the tots since I asked to hold it on my burger. I like mayo just fine, just not on burgers, but I thought that was nice of him to make sure before we paid that I understood what was on the loaded tots in case i didn't like mayo at all. my burger was a bit saltier than I like, but overall it was great. really liked the char/crisp on the outside edges; there's so much flavor there. We also enjoyed the ice cream shop on the back end of the building after we ate our burgers. I usually prefer nondairy ice cream and was pleased to find they had a couple of vegan flavors. The vegan mint chocolate chip was amazing. my husband tried the coffee Oreo and it was also great. We'll surely return here in the future.”

Hard to get refills of our drinks , and we were sitting at the bar . Even though they weren't very busy. I would go back , but only for the food . And they only have one restroom for men and women , and only one at a time. So if you go , you might use the restroom before you go , or you could be waiting a while to get in.”

The food was hot, drinks were cold. Food arrived quickly. We had the Enchilada verdes plate and the super bowl, with a coupon for the mama ruth flauta plate. They were good, the shredded chicken was over salted but still edible. Our server, Brook, came to take our order quickly, when we ordered we asked for our drinks with no ice. She brought out mine correctly but my husbands had a full a glass of ice. She took it back and fixed it. While we were eating, she checked on us once after bringing out our food. When we asked for our bill, we asked for the military discount. When she brought out our bill, we handed her the gift card we had along with 20.00 cash to make up the difference. When she returned she brought out two 5 dollar bills. our change was supposed to be: $10.55. When we noticed it, we asked the other waitress in the area to ask her to come back to our table. When she was called to the table for us to explain about it the other waitress in the section was still there. When Brooke was told about the fact that we wanted the 55 cents, she took an attitude about us wanting our 55 cents. Saying: they want the 55 cents? while she was standing right in front of us. We should have called the manager at that moment. The way I feel is that she took the 55 cents. She should have given us the entire amount of change per our receipt, allowing us to choose tell her to keep it. As it was we were going to give her an 11.00 tip, once we discovered the change returned to us was not correct and she displayed an attitude, we changed the amount of tip to 1.55. We have talked to the manager about this issue as well. I used to work waiting on tables, I always give good tips, and I know the work is hard and sometimes you get bad customers, however: NEVER did I not give back the full change on the receipt. In my book that would have been considered stealing from the customer.”

“We just purchased our Second Bengal kitten from Dave Clark within two years. The elder almost immediately bonded with his little brother. They are absolutely adorable and beyond beautiful!!! Bengals have such unique personalities. They love to be around their owners. Highly recommend Dave!!!”

Menu was incredibly easy to understand, so you know exactly what you’re getting which is great. Secondly, we came with a group of almost 10 people and my food was prepared in less than 19 minutes. “We visited Naegelin's today while we were in New Braunfels. I used to live in NB (1959 to 1990) and grew up on their pastries. My brother was a baker their in 1960 and 1961, so there was always Naegelin's pastries to eat. Bear Claws were my absolute favorite. After 30 years, I couldn't wait! I ordered Bear Claws and 2 strudles, apple and cherry. I should have waited! The strudel was pretty good. the Bear Claws were very very disappointing. they lacked flavor and filling. The pastery used to be light and flakey. Not any longer, more like flat and tough. I hate to use the word "cardboard", but that kinda fits. Go for the Strudel, forget the Bear Claws. Childhood memories shattered again.”
