“If you’re in Old Town then you should definitely make your way here! Had the drip coffee which was delish but I shouldn’t have tried the boyfriend’s Nutella latte because it was HEAVENLY! Have to go back soon for that and another croffle! But that’s not all! This space is so well designed with a comfortable flow of energy, and great eclectic art or decoration everywhere you look! To top it off the staff is wonderful and helpful. So in house or to go is great because you can pop down a smidge on King to their art gallery Galactic Panther. ESP has a killer open mic night there which is what brought me out from the District initially but after coming out to see @mobofonemusic this past Saturday, I know it will become a place I visit regularly for lots of occasions!“
“I am visiting NOVA to house-sit for a friend while she’s on vacation, and needed a coffee ship while I’m here. I wanted to avoid the chains and go local. So I tried this one from a google search. INCREDIBLE. It’s so good and the bankers items are delicious. I have gone everyday since being here. They are very friendly and the line is long but moves very quickly. It’s just one of those fun little local things you have to try. I am hoping to move to DC in the next several months, and have this on my list of places to keep in my phone. 10/10!“
“The ambiance of this restaurant is really stunning. Definitely perfect for a nice date spot and the staff is always coming by to checking in on your table to make sure everything is going well.We ordered both the steaks, oysters, and some kind of liver. The liver looked like ice cream but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the aftertaste.“
“I had a great time at Burton’s Grill (Alexandria) yesterday (9/30/23). The food was amazing, the drinks were good and strong. The staff was awesome. The GM came and introduced himself to us. The chef came out and talked to us about our food allergies. Our server “T” was as so amazing. She went above and beyond. I really enjoyed myself and I will be back.“
“Really great food - they have really yummy breakfast sandwiches which are always hot off the panini press. They have just really great baked goods too, beautiful cakes and cupcakes and then also traditional bakery items like croissants, cookies, etc - which are all insanely delicious. I think I've tried about everything from Buzz at this point and can say the food and coffee is fantastic. It's also a really great work environment so I come here to work from my laptop pretty often. The tables in the back facing the entrance are great - there is great lighting there for zoom meetings and it's never too loud in there.“

“The service was great. The deli next to the restaurant is a great temptation to bring home all kinds of cheese, wine, and crackers. The food was definitely cheese forward. So in the case of the French onion soup, which was one of the best I've ever had, it was as much about the bread and very generous portion of gryere on top as it was about the very delicious onion broth. Conflicted over what I wanted to try, I noticed they had take and bake options on the menu, so I opted for the lasagna for dining in, and I got a mac and cheese to go. Like the formentioned French onion soup, this lasagna was more about the generous amount of cheese inside. Both options were fantastic. We shared a charcuterie board for four, and it was plenty to go around. The warmed olives and Manchego cheese were quite delicious, too. They live up to their name, so if you love cheese, this is a great restaurant to see how your favorite dishes can really elevate the cheese as the star ingredient.“
“Lavender Moon has been my go-to spot for cupcakes since 2013. There’s something about their cupcakes that are so different that it makes you want to keep returning. Maybe it’s the texture of the cupcake or maybe the unique flavors they offer, but one thing I do know for sure is that they use very good ingredients. You can literally taste the difference.They have a few staple flavors like vanilla bean with lemon curd that you can never go wrong with. However, I always try something unique like pistachio cherry or chocolate bourbon. Sure, I like some flavors better than other but I’ve never had a cupcake I could complain about from them.I would consider this place a boutique cupcake place since their flavors as well their interior design is unique and quite whimsical. The staff are nice but I think they may be nicer to regulars than new customers from my observation and input from my friends when they pick up an order for me. It’s a small place so I wouldn’t suggest bringing a large group here unless it is for take-out.Cupcakes are a priced fairly but definitely way more expensive than the ones you buy premade at the grocery store… but you’re paying for high quality ingredients and the taste is 100 times better. I can’t ever complain about their prices because it is simply worth it.Dietary restrictions: They also have gluten-free cupcakes.Parking: Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re looking for something for free- but it’s Old Town Alexandria so it’s to be expected.Kid-friendliness: I’ve seen parents bring their kids here for cupcakes and it’s always so cute to see their faces light up when they see that they have so many flavors to choose from.“

“Was in from Detroit and stopped in to catch the Wings and Capitals game. Service and food was phenomenal. Pedro made the atmosphere awesome and even though the Wings lost the Capital fans were gracious with us being there. Went back the next night for dinner and it didn’t disappoint! “The place looks a little run down. But! Here you can buy real delicious honey and bird's milk cake. I believe that one day I will be able to taste the Prague cake, for some reason they have not been making it lately. In general, the choice of dishes is large. There are also vinishret and samsa and various other pastries. Don't be afraid to go in, it's really delicious.“
“This is a relaxed, family friendly spot for good burgers! We've gone about 2-3 times and it's always a great time. Food: We've tried a few different options and all were delicious. - The Hangover: Its a good brunch type burger with with hash brown, eggs and bacon. But if you don't want a slightly messy burger, I would skip it. I personally love it! - The Hot Mess: Another food messy burger! I enjoyed the overall taste but the Mac and cheese was a bit bland. However in the burger it was still tasty. - The Southerners: This is a solid go to burger! The pjmento cheese and fried green tomato is beyond delicious and the burger is always so juicy. - Fries and onion rings: Standard but delicious! - Honorary mention: Cajun Remoloade and Old Bag Aoili were great! I was a bit unsure if I wanted to pay for sauce but it was worth it. Service was relatively quick but I've also only been when it wasn't super busy. Parking can be a bit tough so just ride around and be patient.“

Plus, the military discount is nice, but even without that, I would come back anyway. The café also has cakes and other fresh bakery items for purchase. Service was quick and attentive. Prices are okay. The location is off Duke Street in an office mall. Plenty of parking. I had a blood test at the LabCorp nearby and was famished for breakfast after a long fast. The food hit the spot. Nice pictures of their country on the wall, regular tables and clean restaurant.“

Abhishek took the time to sit down with us and explain each course which was uniquely detailed per our requests and he truly went above expectations. Marissa was very knowledgeable and helped formulate the final menu in addition to accommodating us with changes as we neared the main event. The food was excellent & loved by each and every guest with numerous compliments given to us throughout the evening. “Ok so here's the skinny: I think the only drink I have gotten here that I liked was the hot chocolate. Unfortunately, and I hope to be proven wrong at some point, I just think they burn their coffee and espresso and it makes the coffee drinks unpleasant to consume. You can definitely taste the burnt coffee grounds, even in lattes. And I want to like this place because it's so insanely convenient--I just can't get behind their treatment of the coffee grounds.However, everyone is very lovely and friendly, and their food is delicious! I believe they're prone to forgetting orders at times, but I can't say I wouldn't forget items during a coffee house rush hour so I can forgive that. All in all, I'm definitely going to patronize, but it would never be my first choice for caffeine-intake.“
“First time despite driving by for years, decided to check out while getting tires rotated across street at Wal-Mart. Glad we did, arrived at around 2pm, just in time for lunch specials. Greeted at door by friendly hostess, given option of bar or dining area. Inside was organized and clean. Seated in dining room, our waiter (Isaiah) was great, took drink order and was right back. Gave us ideas on the menu when asked. My wife & I rolled with lunch specials. Did not know what to expect as they were around $10 - pleased with our choices as the salad was really good, plenty of vegetables, and pretty decent size for a lunch side salad. My pizza was really good, a mini, but by last slice was full and shared one with wife. Chicken parm was good, nice portion, and not enough was left to take home.The manager checked on us twice and Isaiah several times throughout to make sure all was good.Great place to grab lunch especially while getting auto repair done at Wal-Mart.“
