“Love this place! Great artsy feel with great food. Made fresh and with care. Healthy “power bowls”. Their chai is awesome. Today I tried the strawberry 🍓 chai and it was delicious, my new favorite. Very welcoming atmosphere. When visiting Norfolk this is our go to place for coffee, tea and lunch! I love their herbivore dish, the tofu is amazing with great flavor and texture. Even non-vegans love it!”

We met Andrew & his co worker outside on our way in and asked for their recommendations, they both said the CHICK 'N DITCH THE WAFFLE & THE ROCKWELL plus recommend the home fries! We decided to order all 3 and they were yummy! Hubs actually got the Rockwell supreme which includes an egg and bacon, a must! We also had a strawberry mimosa and tequila sunrise which were good. We signed up for the Belly Bucks rewards program and look forward to the free Bonuts on our next visit. I hope what we spent today gets added to our rewards balance!”

“We visited the No Frill Bar and Grill for lunch. I had the Funky Chicken Salad which was delicious. The grilled chicken was fork-cut tender and the greens were nice and crisp. Two others in our party had salads and were equally pleased (fried shrimp / Asian inspired), and one of us had a delicious burger and fries. Everything came out in good time, our drinks were refreshed often (never an empty glass), and overall the room and space is very bright and welcoming. The acoustics were fine too. And as an added bonus, the restroom was as close to spotless as a public restroom could be. An excellent choice. I wish I remembered our servers name as she was excellent. Very reasonably priced as well.”

Miami especially because I’ve had the oxtail lasagna there so I advised my wife to get that and I got the 37oz Tomahawk for 2 top with crab meat lol I love a good steak seriously. We didn’t get any appetizers because I wanted to save my appetite and my mental was in my pocket lol if you know what I mean but a $100 for a tomahawk with roasted potatoes it was no way I wasn’t gonna have that for dinner and some left for breakfast with cheese eggs in the morning lol Now when my steak came out! I ordered medium in which I expected to see pink because medium requires pink and who orders a well done steak anyway??? I mean it was cooked and seasoned to perfection with roasted potatoes and onions OMG I’M GOING BACK THERE!! Soon!! I taste my wife oxtail lasagna because she just kept saying how much better it tasted here lol so I did and she wasn’t exaggerating I mean the pasta sauce was sweet with garlic Omg how did they make a sauce that good and it had tomato chunks in it not the big crazy chunks but just perfect everything was PERFECT THIS PLACE DESERVES A MICHELIN⭐️ if thats possible in this area Ive ate in numerous countries because of my military background but this place is one for the books!!”

“I hop always has the best service. When we visited the secretary was amazing we topped her over 35%. She was very attentive but not so much to bother you. She always knew what you needed (more drinks clearing of food) even when you had a mouthful of food. It was just great.”

I will say also that 6 out of ten times i either get the wrong order or something if forgotten. Not all of the time but many times when i asked to have it corrected, its done but with attitude. They tryvto dress it up but it shows. They should remember that customers can see them better than they can see themselves. Their facial expression betray them.”

Going through their menu and seeing all the other options they have, has solidified my decision to come back and try a few more things. “I've been wanting to visit this cute bakery for a while, so I was excited to finally stop by. When I arrived an hour after opening, the place was empty. There were three staff members—a barista, a cashier, and a bakery attendant. Of the three, only the bakery attendant greeted me with a friendly "Good morning," which I appreciated. The barista completely ignored me and the cashier was borderline unfriendly.

I would have liked a moment to browse the menu and bakery selection, but the cashier seemed impatient. A simple, "Is this your first time here? Would you like any recommendations?" would have been good enough.

I ordered the quiche which was bland. I also ordered the gluten free strawberry bar and that was absolutely delicious, so I might be back just for that.”

“The menu has a lot of choices I settled on the shrimp and salmon sub with broccoli. They had the option to get peppers/onions they can't be separated. I ordered to go, after ordering and paid I was told it was a 30-35 minute wait. Glad it was a nice day for a walk. I got my food at the 35 min mark. It was good. I didn't feel like this was the place to eat in really. I would order again, but definitely before I leave out to ensure it's done upon arrival as this spot is across from the waterfront. I will try something new also. I was curious why all the pasta options are only Alfredo.

“The setting is gorgeous, but the interior could use a designer for a more coastal environment. The crab cakes are the best in the area, but they need better healthy sides. I also had the best soft shell crab in the area there a few months ago. Hire a chef versus a cook. More healthy versions of seafood are needed versus mostly fried and salted. As an excellent cook, I could turn this place into a hot neighborhood spot that people could walk to/from. Many times the price does not meet the quality of food unless I order the crab cakes. I have seen waiters bring out broccoli with worms moving around and florets that have overstayed their time in the kitchen.”

“Attended soft opening today. Ate at the bar. Food was great. Menu is filled with a great variety. Staff was well trained. Looking forward to trying more Menu items.”

“Ate here last night. Food is delicious. They do nickel and dime a bit. $3.50 for tortilla chips. Most mexican restaurants serve them complementary. Refills are free but they just bring the chips and you have to ask if you need more condiments. I also was charged a $1.50 because I wanted my tacos Lola’s way. I don’t remember seeing additional $1.50 to have them made that way on the menu. Also, sign outside margueritas are $7 all day everyday but then we we charged $8 each because you had to pay $1 extra for the flavoring. All these lovely add ons add up and you are not aware until the bill comes. Lastly there was a man working behind the bar with a very long beard. Since long hair needs to be tied back - this beard should have been ponytailed, in a net or shaved off. After seeing that I almost threw up my meal and my drink that he prepared.”

We met Andrew & his co worker outside on our way in and asked for their recommendations, they both said the CHICK 'N DITCH THE WAFFLE & THE ROCKWELL plus recommend the home fries! We decided to order all 3 and they were yummy! Hubs actually got the Rockwell supreme which includes an egg and bacon, a must! We also had a strawberry mimosa and tequila sunrise which were good. We signed up for the Belly Bucks rewards program and look forward to the free Bonuts on our next visit. I hope what we spent today gets added to our rewards balance!”

“We visited the No Frill Bar and Grill for lunch. I had the Funky Chicken Salad which was delicious. The grilled chicken was fork-cut tender and the greens were nice and crisp. Two others in our party had salads and were equally pleased (fried shrimp / Asian inspired), and one of us had a delicious burger and fries. Everything came out in good time, our drinks were refreshed often (never an empty glass), and overall the room and space is very bright and welcoming. The acoustics were fine too. And as an added bonus, the restroom was as close to spotless as a public restroom could be. An excellent choice. I wish I remembered our servers name as she was excellent. Very reasonably priced as well.”

“Love this place! Great artsy feel with great food. Made fresh and with care. Healthy “power bowls”. Their chai is awesome. Today I tried the strawberry 🍓 chai and it was delicious, my new favorite. Very welcoming atmosphere. When visiting Norfolk this is our go to place for coffee, tea and lunch! I love their herbivore dish, the tofu is amazing with great flavor and texture. Even non-vegans love it!”

Our server was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It's always a pleasure to be taken care of by someone who genuinely seems to enjoy their job!

Now, let's talk about the food—wow! I ordered the sampler, and it was nothing short of delicious. The variety was impressive, with perfectly cooked pancakes, crispy bacon, great eggs, and savoury sausage. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavour, and I appreciated how fresh everything tasted. It’s the perfect dish if you want to try a little bit of everything.
