“My husband and I had a delicious lunch today prepared by Chef Sombat. He has earned Michelin stars in Thailand. I ordered the Pad Thai; his signature dish. It was outstanding and abundant. My husband loved his chicken with orange sauce. He came out to see if we enjoyed our entrees and was so friendly. We learned that he worked on Holland America Cruise Line between Seattle and Alaska for two years before becoming chef at Pon Proem. They have Uber Eats, take out, lunch and dinner. The Thai tea over ice was an excellent way to treat ourselves to something special before our meals arrived. It's like dessert before the meal!“
“Cute little spot for dinner and drinks. If you ask the waiter, they will be able to suggest some menu options that can be made vegan, but only a few and only 1 entree (at least when I went). I got the vegan Hokkien noodle and it was okay. Very tomato saucy rather than a dry wok tossed noodle. Actually everything advertised as wok tossed (vegan and regular hokkien noodles, broccoli) were very wet. Our table joked that they must have put the food in the wok, but forgot to turn on the fire. I also got the Thai basil clam without pork sausage and it was AMAZING. Super flavorful. I slurped every shell and maybe a bit of the bowl. They also had a vegan coconut tapioca with pandan sorbet and it was unique and very delicious, I was pleasantly surprised by that one! Drinks were interesting sounding, but had that cheap alcohol taste to me or somehow the proportions of ingredients just didn’t end up tasting that good. We ordered 6 drinks and didn’t love any of them.“
“This is a very cozy soba restaurant that attempts the fine dining experience. It definitely stands out among the Seattle restaurants in terms of the food. The food is definitely very innovative and the staff provides really detailed explanations about the serving. My only reservation is that the food is not premium enough to be this expensive.“
“This is my favorite spot in Greenwood. The phos and the beef salad are excellent. And, the portions are big. Each time we visit I leave very full. The first time we came on a Friday around 6:30 and had to wait about 45 minutes. Since then, we've arrived earlier at 5:30, and there hasn't been a wait. So, it's all about coming it at the right time. Even if you do have to wait, I think it's worth it.“
“Wow! What an amazing array of authentic dishes. Loved my tea egg and plum juice. The food was so flavorful, spicy, fresh and so tasty! The menu “app” was easy to order from with photos and descriptions, if you weren’t familiar with menu items. Items were well priced as well. This is definitely on my list for every time I come to Seattle!“
“A very delicious Chinese spicy ramen shop.If you are a serious ramen fan, you will be disappointed here. But if you want to eat a bowl of delicious spicy noodles, this is definitely a good choice. Although the soup of spicy ramen is not full of umami, it really has the numbing sensation of Sichuan peppercorns, which is really good. The barbecued pork noodle soup is also very delicious. Although the signature Malaysian fried chicken is also popular, I personally think it is too salty and drowns out other flavors. Even the spicy noodles have no taste at all.“
“Honestly the most satisfying meal I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. As a vegetarian with an active lifestyle, eating at restaurants can be unrewarding at times - dishes are often either monotonous or lacking sufficient protein. I was delighted to find that the Nasi Lemak was absolutely stacked with wholesome protein-rich ingredients! The meal had peanuts, egg, tofu and chickpeas, and each was thoughtfully and skillfully prepared. And that was just one of the plant-based menu options on offer.Someone in the kitchen there clearly has direct experience with eating vegetarian - I felt very seen and understood by their menu offerings. The culinary splendor was paired with service that felt like a well-oiled machine, and a lively, upbeat atmosphere. I will be back!Vegetarian options: A must-visit for vegetarians!“
“We had a lovely lunch at this location. I wasn't familiar with the ordering process but it was explained to us. Service was great and friendly. The ramen was incredible. I ordered the classic vegan ramen with tofu and nori and the vegan gyoza. Everything was great! My husband and I aren't from the area and we actually wanted to make it back for a 2nd meal here but it didn't work with our plans. We still talk about wishing we could eat here again. We had so much good food on our Seattle visit and will most definitely make our way back Danbo when we visit again.“
“This restaurant is a true chefs creative space. The service was amazing, authentic and not too smothering. The food is incredible and well thought out. One of the best burgers I’ve had in Seattle. I love the vegan options. I was expecting a little more flavor from the curry but I still enjoyed it and had it the next day too. The chips on the plate were a perfect touch. Everything was delicious. We also ordered the guava lemonade, which is tasty. The space is vibrant and full of good energy. Although, I will say it’s a little cold in there. It was nice to see the chef/owner working (I met him once a couple years ago). It shows the passion that inspired the amazing dishes. Good people and good food. Highly recommend.“
“Simple and easy service. The pho is real good, the broth is legit. The prices are good for Seattle area.Man, you can’t really make pho broth any better. They perfected the broth recipe. I’d eat here again. The parking is tight and seems a bit messy. The area is pretty ghetto but it is what it is.Parking: Free parking on site but very limited during busy hours.“
“This is not a regular restaurant. They do Philipino tasting menus and only take online reservations. They open on certain days of the week and serve only two dinner seatings on those nights. The food is interesting and tasty. However, the portion is on the petite side, so if you're hungry going in, you probably won't feel full coming out. The chef and staffs are friendly and very attentive. As the tasting menu goes, it's more about the experience, the stories, the influences, and the inspirations on the food.“
“So delicious! Kin Len is walk in only and you’re placed on a waitlist. Once your name is called you’re seated. We were a party of 5 that came in on Sunday night. We waited about 20 minutes after putting our name down. I ordered a Thai iced tea and the pad see eeiw with chicken. Both were amazing and so delicious! I loved my drink and the noodles were flavorful and a good portion too. I asked to make it spicy and it was perfect.“
“Great ambiance. Food looks amazing too. Quick and friendly service. Good chili oil. passionfruit and lychee drinks are decent, pretty sweet. Tofu Jiang Jiang was really good. Tofu Lamen noodles were decent, too creamy and heavy for single person, good for sharing though. Spicy veg dumplings were good as well!“
“The atmosphere is bright and cheerful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic! I had the #1 pho noodle soup. The bowl is huge, and there was surprisingly alot of meat in the bowl. The broth! The broth was amazing and a perfect balance of flavors. Highly suggest eating here!“
“First time here. Ramen is as good as the capital hill location, the music was a bit too loud for my liking, but that's Fremont. I sat at the bar and it was very intuitive to order via QR code, the food was there in less than 10 minutes.“
“The food here is absolutely incredible. I’ve been coming for almost a decade and the quality has never changed. The service is incredible, the owners are amazing and charismatic, and the desert port wine selection is fantastic. (Don’t forget the Underberg!) The decor is only a reflection of the flavors in the food and of the stylings of the owners themselves. It’s funny to say but the bathrooms are actually one of my favorite parts of the experience. There is neighborhood parking and a large outdoor patio to enjoy a glass of wine and mingle with strangers as you wait for a table inside as there is only standing room outside which I can imagine is by design as you will see a wide range of folks that go to Bizzarro. The wealthy Wallingford Wilco’s and your regular Seattle weirdos, all coming to enjoy a hidden gem of Seattles culinary scene that has never truly gotten the shine it deserves. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well deserved and earned.Vegetarian options: Ask your server! Very accommodating service.Dietary restrictions: Ask and you shall receive…Parking: Get good! It’s Seattle! Find your street parking! However you could be smart and call a ride or take public transportation for the opportunity for more wine! ?Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed. Can only accommodate up to party’s of 8! Call ahead to see if there is space.Wheelchair accessibility: It is a tight space but you could manage. I recommend calling ahead of time to allow for proper preparation of a table for a better dining experience. Restrooms may require assistance depending upon the severity of the disability.“
“The best Thai food in West Seattle. Everything was amazing. A true gem. Service- service is take out only. you call them to let them know you are outside and they bring it out to you. The lady working was extremely nice. Their prices are really good too.“
“I moved to ID just to be within walking distance of this amazing place. This is my favorite food in all of ID!!! There’s not a single bad dish on this entire menu. No matter what time you order or who’s working, it’s always fantastic. The meats are always cooked perfectly, the noodles exquisite and the quality of their veggies are S+ They’re very accommodating to food requests and the ladies up front are always so kind!“
“The best pho in town if you ask me! I am always bummed they don’t have longer hours. There are been so many times I had to settle for other pho restaurants because they were closed.Anytime I can grab a bite here, I do! They will not disappoint.“
“To be honest, this wasn’t for me. I did not enjoy the noodles I had at all. Although the honey chicken wings were probably the best wings I have ever had in my life, they’re really crispy and full of flavor. I would highly recommend them above anything else.“
“After getting hand made noodles in Oakland, I was seriously craving some upon my return. Dumpling the noodle satisfied this craving and made it into my list as a vegetarian spot for going on dates. Absurdly good food, with one split place of the chili vegetarian lamen, mushroom buns and the shiitake bokchoy dumplings I felt as if I’d been through an entire feast with my partner.Ingredients, presentation and price is all incredible for the value. One of my favorites!“
“This is a gem. The service staff was very attentive, kind, and friendly. It was clear their customers are important to them. We enjoyed the walnut shrimp and egg rolls. It felt like we got to experience a bit of true Seattle history at one of the oldest chinese restaurants in the city (1935). All of the thank you cards, photos, articles, and nice messages to the team over the years along the wall make it clear that the owners and team care about community and service. We felt it to. Thank you Tai Tung team!“
“The lighting in the restaurant is warm-toned, which makes for a comfortable dining experience. There’s a beautiful wall mural; the colors tie in really well to the furniture. The server was patient and willing to answer questions about the menu. I enjoyed the shrimp tempura and the accompanying sauce. They offered chopsticks as well, which I appreciated. Overall a lovely dining experience.Vegetarian options: Lots of grilled vegetable and tofu dishes.“
“Great little shop with tasty noodles and other dishes. I highly recommend the Nine Way Noodles if you enjoy mala flavor (sichuan peppercorn). The dumplings and wontons in oil were also solid. Service was great and prices were cheap. If I had to identify one weakness, I'd say the noodles were oilier than I would have preferred, making the meal feel very heavy. However, it was all flavorful so I still give them 5 stars.“
“Isarn was an absolutely wonderful Thai restaurant. We were visiting our friends in Queen Anne and decided to go here for dinner. The atmosphere was really great. It was a very modern and classy yet casual vibe. The service by the staff was great, and our food got to us quick and was served hot.I had the veggie fried rice with fried tofu. It was absolutely delicious, and very flavorful. My wife had the isarn herbal soup and enjoyed it. Our friends had the chicken and regular fried rice and enjoyed it. I also had the signature cocktail, butterfly pea, and it was really good and was also beautiful to look at.I felt the prices were reasonable for what you received and for great Thai food. I highly recommend Isarn if you want good Thai food!“
“For over 15 years, this has been my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. They offer so many delicious dishes, tucked away in a parking lot, you wouldn't expect much from this place. However, as soon as you step inside, it feels like a little oasis. Even though I don't live in Seattle anymore, I still dream about their dishes.“
“Great place, the air hockey table is a great touch and the decor is very interesting! Drinks tasted good and were made quickly, and it was a great place to chat with a few friends! I had a Hong Kong lemon tea and can definitely recommend it!“
“definitely in my top seattle spots! food always hits the spot, prices are pretty affordable - for our order, we pay less than $30 and have some food leftover. my boyfriend and i usually get a loco moco and a ginger chicken (with mac salad, sub white rice for spam fried rice), and it’s always a delight. honestly haven’t tried anything else because these are so good!pro tip - call ahead for pick up, we always call when we’re just headed out. food takes around 20 min if not more, so it’s nice to not wait too long. all the food is togo anyway + limited indoor seating to eat the food on the spot.“
“As a Vietnamese, I can be picky and have high expectations with Viet food. Because The Boat has a very simple menu, they delivered - in speed and quality. The chicken was crispy and moist, the mì trộn noodles was well seasoned, the soup was yummy. We also got the pandan waffle and that was quite nostalgic. Highly recommend!“
“Oh man. This food was crazy good I had the Fiesta plate which is chamoru food. I chose the brisket and BBQ chicken. Both had a nice char, great flavor, and good portions. that orange chamoru rice is just different in the best way possible. so much flavorThis was soooo good and the price is a bargain. buddy got the mochiko chicken and that was awesome as well.“
“5 stars on everything! This is the best vietnamese food i have had around renton! The spring rolls were crunchy and divine, also the eggrolls, holy moly, everything was delicious. The service was great as well, very friendly. Very impressed.“
“Ginger Teriyaki offers the best of both worlds: delicious food and outstanding customer service. From their flavorful teriyaki dishes to their attentive staff, every visit is a delight. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, you’re guaranteed a satisfying experience. Highly recommend!“
“Consistent, good prices, great people and atmosphere. I’m glad we have this place soclose to home. Pho and Banh mis baby!! All the food is delicious, seriously.Parking: My only gripe is the parking. There simply isn’t much around so you may have to park around the block and walk in, first world problems I know.“
“Easily one of my preferred Thai places. I am normally not a yellow curry girl anymore, but a couple years back I got their yellow curry on a whim and have not stopped being low-key obsessed since. My boyfriend and I also agree their Pad Thai is one of the better ones available in the city. I just moved out of the neighborhood and I'm gonna miss walking down the street to pick-up, but I will make the effort to go out of my way and pick-up from here periodically.“
“This was my first time eating here and the Pho was excellent. Was also my 1st time eating shrimp Pho and it was delicious. Everything was fresh and the broth some of the best I've ever had. The lemonade had a unique flavor also and is a hidden gem on the menu. I'll be back soon for sure.“
“Only Pho place I got to . Have been going here for a decade . I've tried other pho only to waste my time and money with dish water broth n booty sweat. No this place is different and will always have excellent food . Crips clean and rich favor.“
“Supreme leader really knows how to make Asian-Fusion cuisine. This place has Amazing food for a very reasonable price.Great option for vegan seafood and vegan dessertsVegetarian options: Plant based and vegetarian friendly.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids (vegan burgers, vegan sandwiches, vegan pizza)Parking: Small lot behind building.Wheelchair accessibility: YesDietary restrictions: Vegan, Plant based, vegetarian, healthy, health“
“Came here on a Sunday night for dinner and ordered off the happy hour menu. Most of the tables were full despite making reservation. We ended up sitting at the bar. We had five items: Dan Dan noodles, chicken wings, broccoli, shrimp egg roll and pork short ribs. Everything came out quickly and was so delicious! This is definitely elevated Chinese food. Dan Dan noodles has such savory aroma that it was love at first bite. ? The waiters were definitely busting their chops to get everyone served. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.“
“I used to frequent this place often for their vegetarian food. Recently, I revisited and discovered that it's been under new management for the past four years. They've remodeled the interior and made some improvements. The place looks much nicer than before, and they have an entirely new menu. The staff were friendly but a bit slow. The food is still pretty good, although the prices have increased significantly. They now offer longer hours than before. Overall, it remains a great spot for Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine.“
“I went for the first time with my friend who had been here before. I thought it was delicious and unique. The Chiang Mai Curry Noodle was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. The coconut ice cream was great, served with lychee and palm jelly. I will be back.“
“Been wanting to try this place for a while, line is always long at peak hours! Today got their right when they opened for lunch. Chicken karaage was probably the best I've ever had, the spicy mayo sauce was great, definitely not just mayo and Sriracha. I got the hybrid dipping ramen - noodles were great, perfect chew. Broth was very tasty - not spicy at all, would maybe have liked a little more spice next time. Pork belly was nice and tender, very melt in your mouth. Would have liked a bit more caramelization on my piece. Staff very friendly. Fast service. I tried my friends tonkatsu broth - also great. Definitely top 5 ramen places in Seattle.“
“I love this place, I always get the sweet and sour shrimp with the shrimp fried rice and then pour the sauce from sweet and sour over my rice OMG DE-LISH!!!Parking: There is parking right in front and more on the side of building or strip mall.“
“The food is good - I ordered takeout and picked it up on my way to the train station. Cute packaging….but there are no eating utensils, napkins or even sauce for my dumplings!!! I understand not including especially utensils and napkins - that turns into garbage. But at least ask if one needs it when you hand over the order! And for sure include the sauce with the dumplings. Who ever heard of such a thing??“
“I really like this place for its Beef Biang Noodles. There pretty decently spicy, and have the usual chewy noodles your expect. I usually get the one without soup. They also have some decent spicy wontons. Beyond those two, I think their other stuff is pretty okay (I had the pot stickers before, and they were okay). You can allay get milk tea and smoothies here, but I don't think they're known for them. I did like my Honeydew Smoothie here, though. Overall, I do recommend checking it out, if you're in the area.“
“The owner is very friendly, their food is the best northern Chinese cuisine I had in the greater Seattle area, I tried pepper and pork intestine, lamb soup noodles, the stir fried veggie, and I tried the hand-pulled chicken last time, I like all of them! Their food would be my first choice if I need a party catering in the future ?“
“Homey spot for fresh dumplings. This place was great! Their dumplings warm and not doughy. The Xiao long bao was quite tasty. For an evening dinner after a long day, this was worth it.If you get the chance, please support this small business along with the others nearby as the very much need it.“
“Came here with a big group for a birthday. I was thoroughly impressed with everything we ordered, it was a family style meal with lots of dishes and plenty of second helpings. Our group ran the gamut for spice tolerance, vegan, and food allergies but there was plenty of overlap on dishes most of us could eat. The peppery flavors of the meal were such a delight to the palette, slightly numbing in some cases but never too spicy hot, there are even several peppery drinks on the menu that are sure to wow. My favorite was the chicken, but my friends loved the sweet and buttery flavor of the hen of the forest which was definitely my runner-up. Service was also excellent, everything came out quickly, our waters were topped up, and the servers were friendly and knowledgeable on the dishes. Definitely looking forward to the next time!“
“My Taiwanese parents thought all of the noodle soups we ordered were delicious! And they have high standards. Not easy to find great food like North Noodles and Dumplings. We are so glad we decided to try it out last night. Taiwanese beef noodle soup, chive dumplings/ beef stew.... Sorry I don't remember the English names. And my son loved the won tons and xiao long Bao as well. Service was excellent too! She was busy but still kind and friendly to us.“
“Food is excellent but on take out orders there is too much sauce and leaks through the takeout container into the bag. Last time there was hole in the bag and the sauce dripped everywhere before I realized. Need better containers or to use less sauce.“
“Ordered beef teriyaki with a side of gyoza because I was stuck on mercer island for a few hours but pho is obviously their specialty. The rice and gyoza were good but the beef abd sauce were sub par imo compared to dedicated teriyaki places. It wasn’t bad but definitely different if you're looking to satisfy a teriyaki craving this is only about 75% there.“
