“Came here for the first time. It was amazing. Got 2lbs of crawfish. 1lb of snow crab and then added sausage, corn, potatoes. Came out to only $80 with drinks as well. The entire bowl was filled when it came out. We ate till we were super full and still took half a bag home. Cajun sauce with 1x spicy level. 10/10 recommend. Waited little bit for order to be taken on a slow day but the food came out literally minutes after getting order taken so it didn’t make a difference. They serve the food very quickly. Everyone was super nice there and helpful.”

I also had two orders of “pork belly” (which was really just thick cut bacon), an order of chicken, and order of pork shoulder, and order of the shaking beef, and two orders of brisket (also probably not brisket but hard to tell from the cut).
Unfortunately, the staff was not able to answer any question that I asked. I didn’t make it to time, but it also seemed like they started the time when they sat me. Then they on the burner as they placed down the first items. It also took about 10 minutes for the burner to heat sufficiently to eat. So it’s seems like the time allowance would have been about 70 minutes, not 90. They could not or would not answer my question about when the time starts. instead they just told me I can’t take any home, which I already knew.
They did offer refills very frequently, I would say more often than every ten minutes.”

“We found this restaurant by accident. Our mom and aunt wanted pasta, but they wanted to be somewhere quiet. My brother googled and found this place. At first we thought we were at the wrong address since we didn’t see a sign. But we peaked in and we were met by the owner who asked us to take a seat. Service was fast, the food was amazing! And talk about a great salad bar with everything you would want on a salad with house made dressings. Everyone in the family ordered something different, from a mushroom burger to spaghetti and Greek pizza. The servings were so generous two people could eat or you will have leftovers. Oh, and we were even introduced to the owners daughter. It was a nice evening and has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat.”

“Nina, the owner was kind enough to set up a special tea party for me and my out of town guest. Her shop has a large selection of loose leaf teas and it was busy in there but she was patient and helped us find something we liked, even offering us a sample of their house tea. The tea sandwiches were flavorful and delicate. The doughnuts were so good!!! There’s so much to see in this little shop and plenty of delicious treats. I will be back!”

I found the prices very fair especially comparing them to Basil Ginger in the valley. We didn’t order a single roll over $20 and our favorite cooked one (spider) was only $15. The restaurant was pretty packed yet our food came out surprisingly fast for how many people were dining in. The waitress was on FIRE. Running around making sure everyone was good. She also gave us dessert at the end for free. Maybe it’s a thing but we were highly flattered and appreciative! It was great to eat at a clean establishment that also checked allll the other boxes too. My kids and I got up to leave and both noted “this place deserves a shining review!”. Highly recommend 🙂”

Great variety of banchan that varies from time to time. Tried a lot of the different dishes, some of my favorites have been the Mahndoo Guk (beef dumpling soup), rabokki (spicy rice cake with ramen), bibimbop, and samgyup sal (pork belly table grill meat)! I also recommend the Bokbunja (Korean fruit wine), it’s very good. I definitely recommend dining in for the full experience!”

In less than 10 mins this gigantic plate of heaping chicken was in my hands! It was hot, fresh, juicy, and packed full of flavor! Like OMG, I’ve been missing out the the best chicken I’ve had in a long time…maybe ever. 🫠 The aroma from the plate instantly made my stomach growl and my mouth salivate. The first bite was perfection. The 3rd bite was just as wonderful. I had to stop because this chicken is so rich and filling. The chicken skin is absolutely fantastic. This sauce is something of a dream, so many layers of deep flavors happening here and not spicy at all nor do I think it needs spice which is very seldom of me to say! It’s tucked into an industrial corner of Anchorage with no frills, no fluff—just incredible beer and the kind of atmosphere that feels real. Inside, it’s welcoming in that quiet, unpolished way: barrel tables, a loft above, and Chad (the owner and brewer) probably behind the bar, pouring the beer he made himself. That kind of presence matters. You feel it in the space and in every pour. The beer is creative, clean, and thoughtful. No shortcuts. The hazy IPAs hit just right, the stouts are layered and rich without being overdone, and the rotating sours and goses are genuinely interesting—not trendy for the sake of it. You can tell he’s brewing for flavor, not followers. It’s a place where the beer speaks first, and then the people do—and both are worth listening to. If you like places where you can actually hear yourself think, where the beer is the centerpiece without needing to be flashy, and where the owner still cares enough to look you in the eye—go to Brewerks. It’s one of the best things happening in Anchorage.”

“We found this restaurant by accident. Our mom and aunt wanted pasta, but they wanted to be somewhere quiet. My brother googled and found this place. At first we thought we were at the wrong address since we didn’t see a sign. But we peaked in and we were met by the owner who asked us to take a seat. Service was fast, the food was amazing! And talk about a great salad bar with everything you would want on a salad with house made dressings. Everyone in the family ordered something different, from a mushroom burger to spaghetti and Greek pizza. The servings were so generous two people could eat or you will have leftovers. Oh, and we were even introduced to the owners daughter. It was a nice evening and has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat.”

“This place has become our go-to when we come downtown for dinner. Over the last few years we’ve probably been 20+ times. It’s never super busy and can always get in without an issue. In my opinion this is one of the very few places in town you can get true craft cocktails. These bartenders take care and attention to everything and it’s appreciated. It’s also not just tequila either, they have cocktails with all sprits. They do have amazing tequilas here though and I’m not talking about the ones most people see that are expensive and popular. Sit at the bar and the bartenders will educate you on everything. The food is also super consistent and staff does an amazing job. Overall there isn’t much I would want different with this place. 10/10.”

The instructions were easy to follow, making it enjoyable for both kids and adults. It was so much fun creating our own artwork while enjoying delicious ice cream. The staff was friendly, patient, and encouraging, making everyone feel comfortable and creative. And of course, the food was incredible flavorful, and the perfect treat while painting! 🍦 If you’re looking for a fun family activity, girls’ night out, or a creative date idea, I highly recommend their paint night. “Stopped into the new brewery on a Saturday. Nice aposphere in the seating area, with super nice staff and an open view of the brewery area. A little disappointing they only had 4 beers on tap (1 Golden, 1 Smash IPA, 1 fruited tart, and 1 Baltic porter) but they just opened up so will let that slide. The Smash was simple but highlighted the Citra hops nicely with good head retention. The fruited sour was refreshing with pretty good Blueberry and lemon flavor, good balance of tartness with fruit flavor and sweetness. The golden ale was not my favorite but was simple with a malty backbone but I didn't like the mouth feel or overall flavor. I would like to try more beers to determine my full impression of them, but everyone has to start somewere and excited to see this new brewery grow and find their niche in the beer world! 3.5/5 stars”

And I always have miscommunication with them because I'm deaf. When I came to Goldie's, I was surprised to see that the two sweet ladies at Goldie's knew how to sign. Finally! I was able to have clear communication! And their coffee tastes really good! Not too sweet, not too bitter. Just right. I will be going to Goldie's for my regular coffee fix! 6 stars out of 5!”
