“The Marigold Cafe is an absolute must-visit spot, especially when you're out on a bike trip around the peninsula. I frequently stop here during my rides, and it has become my favorite break spot. Not only is it a great place to recharge with a snack and some energy, but the atmosphere is just perfect for a relaxing pause. The cafe is always clean, giving a refreshing and welcoming vibe. Additionally, the staff are consistently friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. It's a little haven for cyclists and anyone looking for a cozy spot to unwind. Highly recommend!“
“Fantastically delicious food! Very friendly people and a lovely and interesting environment!! I highly recommend this restaurant and bonus … it is very close to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal. We found this gem because we were too early for the ferry.“
“I always stop here if I’m riding the Galloping Goose trail. It’s a bright, sunny cafe with a great selection of delicious drinks, food, ice cream and more. They have really great outdoor seating for sunny days as well as a good-sized indoor space. Great place for a coffee, a snack, and a conversation.“

“It is a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the stop. If you're headed to the ferry or airport, you should take a little detour for a pre-departure meal or snack. Their specialty lattes are great and I'm sure all the other pastries are good. I only ever get the vanilla custard Danish and I'm never disappointed. If you go in the summer they also have in-house refreshers as well which are also very good. If they break into charcuterie it would be a perfect place for me, at least.“

“LOVE their vegan sandwiches. It’s a budget-friendly place with lovely staff and the BEST vegan brownie I’ve ever had. Lattes are great and milkshakes reportedly superb friends tell me. It’s a bustling place where finding a table at lunch can be a challenge but you worth that small hurdle.“

“Quiet and peaceful. Nice music in the background. We sat inside as it was a bit smoky out. It was also cool inside. Went at 9 Sunday morning. Great coffee with cheese and ham croissant. The owner was there serving. Had a nice visit with him, very layed back. Enjoyable all around.“

“While the selection of brunch items isn't huge, there's something for everyone. My scrambled eggs were absolutely perfect and the fresh basil I the bruschetta topping was so delicious. My wife really enjoyed her breakfast sandwich with avocado, the bread was soft and delicious. I will definitely be back!“

“I came here a few weeks ago and it is one of my favourite places to get brunch. Trust me the Bulgogi Benny does not disappoint! I love their hollandaise sauce that they make, it’s so buttery and creamy. The hash browns are nice and crispy too! The Turkey Panini was also really good as well! I liked how we can choose hashbrowns, a cup of soup or a house salad as a side, which comes with all their lunches! Their Morning Glory Muffin is a must! I will be defiantly go back to try their other muffins since there are lots of different options to choose from :)“
“Contrary to the asinine review “Cricket Hartley” left, Quince cafe is wonderful and has some amazing staff. It is a shame people like cricket are so displeased with their lives they feel the need to tear others down, just look at their previous reviews! I have always enjoyed visiting quince and the service I’ve received. “Landed and picked up the rental car, found this place minutes from the airport. Wife has celiac and says they have gf options so off we went without much of an expectation. It's a nice little gem for sure. Very reasonably priced and delicious food. Took celiac seriously and the service was fantastic. Quaint little joint for a bite. ??“

“Small but cozy breakfast place. They serve lunch too, I guess. But I had a the BLT and a mocha. I always try mocha from cofee shops, I first visit. The mocha was good. I would say 3.5 out of 5. The sandwich was also good and felt fresh.Would recommend this place on a nice cold rainy/snowy day and a chair beside the window!Parking: Free street parking on the side roads.“

“Stopped for coffee, a muffin and a sandwich on a road trip heading up to the Cathedral Grove old growth Forest. The coffee was flavorful, the muffin was fresh that morning, and so was the sandwich. There were a few tables in there with locals solving world problems.“

“This is a great spot. They make good coffee and good breakfast wraps. Pretty quick to serve unless it’s busy. They have fair prices also and are open an hour earlier than some of the other coffee shops around so now I come here in the mornings.“
