“Went for the Lunar New Year dinner. The food was amazing. The staff was even better. The New Moon cocktail was incredible.”
“We were served by a friendly and professional waiter (Chris) after being greeted by lovely hosting staff. He was so fun when he came to the table, and knew about everything that was put on our table. Really made the experience special for all of us. The food was amazing. We were all celebrating a birthday and a reunion and got a bday dessert for the table. Accommodated amazingly to gluten free and vegan dietary restrictions. It was Canada day and we were also given complimentary welcome drinks, I loved them! Also had amazing mocktails and made a mocktail welcome drink!”
“If you are like me and growing up in a household with “traditional, slow cooked, 12 hours on the stove” kinda’ dishes were just another regular Tuesday night dinner, you know those flavours and dishes are almost impossible to find elsewhere. La Tana has managed to create the same flavours, dishes and love that I remember so dearly sharing with my family around the table. Thank you La Tana”

“4.5
Solid, as expected for good ingredients done right. There were Japanese influences throughout the dishes we ordered. Nothing felt particularly surprising, which could be seen as either a strength or a drawback :)”
“Very cozy restaurant, I highly recommend the Bigoli Nero - the best tasting seafood pasta I've ever had. The staff provided friendly and excellent service too.”

“Loved every minute of our dining experience here! The aromas upon entering this wee spot got us excited, the welcoming staff were lovely, and then...the food. We ordered Omakase C - Cofu and were delighted! The presentation is artful, but not fussily so. The flavours were layered and subtle so every ingredient could be tasted. Our favourite was the salmon sushi (we ordered an extra 8 pieces!), rich, decadent and delish, especially with the Cilantro Cucumber sauce. We tried the Restore and Elevate mushroom tinctures on the rocks; unexpected flavours, but they grew on us paired with the food and a little ice melt dilution. We will go back time and again to try everything on the menu. Highly recommended!”
“word on the street is this is a must try if you like Vietnamese & you’re in Vancouver - modern takes on traditional dishes by an acclaimed chef.”
“BEST IRISH PUB IN VANCOUVER”
“amazing food especially ghee roast kaju biryani and the presence, nature of treating customers is too good. I recommend dhamaka to all with there loved onces.”
“I've hired Pizza Catering Vancouver twice for corporate events, and both times they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food! They also offered excellent gluten-free and vegan options, which were much appreciated. This team is my go-to for catering, I can’t recommend them highly enough. A true 10/10 experience!”
“Food is very thai authentic & delicious. Mango sticky rice is so artistic and so good.”
“Outstanding to die for real authentic Indian food. You gotta try it at least once in your life.”
“Celebrated my birthday here last January 14, and the food is great, plus the staff are nice too!”
“The best local Vietnamese cuisine! A must try for the authentic Vietnam flavours 😍”
“Lotus root very fresh and crispy even on day 2 of eating. Peking duck crispy, good size pan-fried beef portions, fresh mushrooms. $7 for Tato's small size takeout container of your meat or vegetable selection. Fast service, thanks.”
“Go to banh mi spot in Vancouver! Bread is always so fresh and crispy and each sandwich is filled with fresh meat and ingredients. The price is super reasonable for what you get. I love the Vietnamese lady who always takes our orders, she always somehow upsells something to us, but we are never disappointed.”
“I ate at Zarak last night for the first time and I was blown away. Every Single Dish was spectacular!!! The portions were generous, the flavours are like nothing I have ever experienced and the cocktails... Run don't Walk to Zarak. Special mention: The service was great. All the staff were attentive, informative and happy. What a treat. I will be back!”
“Oh my… this was quite an experience! When going there, letyourself be surprised by the Chef’s Menu (Menu dégustation in french). Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! Along with the lady who brought each plate and explained to us what they were. And finally the manager, I believe, who came over a few times to talk about the plates, the wine and how the pasta were made the same day, very early in the morning The wine suggestion was also perfect! Finally, the décor is not at all what you would expect, from looking at the menu on the web-site; very fresh, young, modern, yet very warm decor! Please go and try this place. I will definitely be back when travelling to Vancouver. Merciiii!”
“This is your “must go place” for authentic hot pot experience. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there today.
Food is so tasty with so many choices of soup bases. Spicy flavour tomato flavour are highly recommended. Beef quality is the best. We ordered 12 dishes of meat for four adults. Free ice cream is provided as well.
Service cannot be better. They have had the table decorated for us with happy birthday signs. Can you believe that the server even helped us to peel shrimp shells! My baby is only one year old and he was fussy sometimes. Different servers came with different types of toys to make him happy.
On our way back home, I got a call from Jessie that she apologized for not singing a happy birthday song for my husband. She even dropped a whole package of birthday gifts to our house with our permission.
I can never forget this best service I have ever had.”

“One of the best meals I've had in a while.
We came here for the world cup tasting menu for two. This is a 6 course shared meal for $65/person that is available until July 12. It did not disappoint. Everything was incredibly well thought out. The chefs used so many ingredients, yet not one felt unnecessary or out of place. Every dish was delicious, but our favorites were the Put Another Shrimp on the Barbie, Turkish Delight, and Prima Vera Pressing.
We also tried three of the cocktails. They were fine, but a little sweet for our taste. The food is definitely the standout here.”

“The food and drink was absolutely delicious when I went with my friend and partner. We ordered mango sticky rice, cauliflower wings and lychee/peach iced tea. On a hot summer day, it hit the spot so good. We also ordered some noodle dishes whuch were delicuous to devour on the go, though they were soupier than we thought. Our waitress was very kind, welcoming and accomodating, though also loud and people pleasing, which can come across as a bit much for some. Our group was fine with it though. We went in for a quick bite and got exactly what we needed. The atmosphere was beautiful and homey, separating us in a calmer bubble from the busy Vancouver streets.”

“We had dinner at Blue Water Cafe last night, and our server, Jared, was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly attentive throughout the entire evening and possessed a deep knowledge of the menu, explaining the dishes with great detail. His drink recommendations were also spot on and enhanced our meal perfectly. What impressed us the most was his impeccable pacing; he managed to attend to every single table with absolute precision, without ever making anyone feel rushed. Jared balances warmth and professionalism beautifully, and he was truly a key figure in making our evening a memorable success. A huge thank you to Jared and the entire team for an unforgettable night. Jared went above and beyond any service experience I’ve had in the city. Highly recommended!”

“What an absolutely fantastic dining experience here! Before you read on, go do yourself a favour and book a reservation!
The food is wonderful and the service here is top notch. I can see why they have their Michelin rating and they do deserve it.
They give you handcrafted cards if you’re celebrating anything. They have a small cocktail menu, but they’re well made. The food though, absolutely amazing! Worth every bite!”

“Love love this place, it deserves all the praises. Amazing quality fish, you can taste the freshness. Service is attentive and personal. Dishes are not only beautiful but have layers of favour, just flawless execution, the chef here is on the top of their game.”

“We had such a wonderful experience on March 17, 2026 at Miku Japanese Restaurant at River Rock Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was truly top-notch—the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and made us feel genuinely cared for. What really stood out was their thoughtfulness and attentiveness. As soon as they noticed that one of our friends was wearing a veil and the rest of us had our Team Bride sashes on, they kindly arranged a private dining room for us. It made the celebration feel even more special and intimate. The ambience was also fantastic—cool, relaxing, and enhanced by a great selection of music. The warm, Japanese-style décor added a beautiful and authentic touch to the overall dining experience. We also appreciated the complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, especially since we had decided not to drink before going swimming. It was such a considerate gesture that didn’t go unnoticed. And of course, the food was amazing—every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience with exceptional service, thoughtful touches, and incredible food. Highly recommended for special occasions!”
“We came for a good bye dinner with our team. Our company closed and Glowbal was selected by numerous recommendations from our other colleagues. It was an amazing atmosphere and definitely super-tasty food. When the time for dessert came, our beautiful waitresses came with our ordered sweet cake with “Happy Unemployment “ writing on the plate. It was a bittersweet moment for all of us but our mood instantly switched to laughter and we almost forgot the cause of our gathering”
“I had an incredible experience here last Friday! My friends hosted a surprise bridal shower for me in the private dining room. The staff were thoughtful and helpful with the setup, allowing my them to come in early to decorate the space. They also did a flawless job with executing the surprise by pretending to bring me to a table first. The server was fun, warm and attentive throughout the night and I feel terrible that I’m forgetting her name! All the food was delicious, which has been the case every time I’ve been to Boulevard.”
“The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.”
“Finally got here. Nothing but good things. Place was swamped. Still got seated within 15 minutes. Staff were friendly and on top of it all! Food came fast, hot, and delicious. Definitely be back and highly recommend.”

“Last time I went to the one on Davie st. in Vancouver I was so disappointed. This morning my husband convinced me to go there again, this time it was really good. our server May was freaking amazing and keep tabs on everyone in her section, our food came quickly and the overall experience this time was very pleasant! Ask to be in May's section when u go here!”

I love to be here . And now more because of brijesh service and his excellence cooking pizza skill .”
“Update: June 30 2026
I was in the area and decided to have lunch with my Dad. He’s never had a Smash burger ever in his life and this was a good day to have one. I personally have had a few smash burgers before at other restaurants, however I too will be in the same boat as my dad eating them here, at A&W.
We got the Double Smash Combos. It was hot, juicy, and delicious. My Dad appreciates the paper bag when holding the burger cause it keeps his hands cleaner LOL 😂. The fries were crispy and the coffee is great. We had a fun time here. We were glad we tried the limited edition smash burgers and got the Rooty keychains. We would definitely come back again. Great location 👍.
July 6 2025:
National Root Beer Day. Free root beer woot woot!”
“Good food and timely service. Deluckshan is a very good server with a bright personality. Always provides timely updates on food and serves with a great attitude with a smile. Please visit the restaurant at Kingsway Location and Deluckshan will always be the good presenter for his work.”
“Karam was lovely, she saw a regular come in and started working on his sandwich before he got to her. She was kind and I could tell she takes pride in her work. Even though he didn’t once look up from his phone to see her care, she still showed it. We need more people like Karam.”
“I always have a great experience at this Tim Hortons, especially because of Sukh. She is always energetic, supportive, and welcoming every time I visit. She even remembers the items I usually order and reminds me if I forget—such amazing customer service! The service here is always fast and efficient.”
“I am not from the area, but I would happily travel the distance for this place! They have a massive selection for vegetarians—I counted 12 options, 10 of which can be made vegan. They even have two vegetarian burgers (both can be vegan).
On my first visit, I had the Butter Paneer Wrap with a side of fries and a Diet Coke (around $20). The wrap was exactly what you want: creamy, filling, and loaded with paneer. I hadn't eaten all day, and it filled me up completely.
I came back again and tried the Zesty Paneer Wrap and the Birria Fries. The wrap was just as great as the butter version but with a bit more of a tomato base. The Birria fries definitely have a nice kick to them!
Also you can choose your spiciness level for the wraps and several other items. Definitely worth a visit if you're nearby (or even if you aren't.”

Takeout Restaurants
“Long story short, their pasta was the bomb. They make it fresh right in front of you and it’s just an absolute winner. Simple as that. We had pasta in Italy and I would say they are comparable. If you’re a big pasta person, this place is definitely for you. That being said, the almond semifreddo dessert was not disappointing as well. As far as service goes, I appreciate that they don’t come up to you every 2 minutes to ask “how’s the first few bites?” yet all the servers are still friendly and attentive throughout. For me, it doesn’t get any better than that. Let me eat my food and if I need something, I’ll let you know. Important to note: if you’re coming on a Saturday, be sure to be there by 4- 4:10pm to make sure you get seated. The line gets really long shortly thereafter. A restaurant with a long line outside will always draw more attention than the empty ones, very clever 😉 So make sure you go early…. And enjoy!”
“My wife tried Mr. Shawarma on Robson last night and after she offered me a bite I had to go back and order one for myself - so good! As well, the personal touch and friendly vibe of the chef and team made my whole trip downtown feel worth it. I will build a trip to Mr. Shawarma into my downtown trips from now on!”
“We have lunched and dinned here for decades, through changes and renovations.
The service attained and maintained a consistent level of efficiency and courtesy for the last 2 decades.
We enjoy the dim sums which are always delicate, light but flavourful.
For dinner, some spectacular dishes require pre-orders. We always enjoyed the braised duck on a bed of savoury mixed mushroom (forgot the proper name of the dish), and many more.”

“Delicious noodles! Prompt service. Tom yum was the perfect level of sour and spicy. Got out with the thick noodles which had a really nice chew. I don’t usually love shrimp, but these were fresh as they had a nice bounce.
Only down part is that it’s really warm - perhaps not enough AC / fan. Air circulation not great, but otherwise the space is cozy and cute.”
“Shayla, our server, was absolutely amazing! She explained the menu thoroughly and made excellent recommendations that we were glad to try. The entire experience was exceptional, and the food was perfect from start to finish. We had the red wine braised short rib of beef from Double R Ranch — it melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding. For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor. We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match. We also had the donuts.. don’t forget about those. Im still dreaming of them. Highly recommend — a truly unforgettable meal!”
“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol”
“I have celiac disease and follow a gluten‑free diet, so I always have to be careful about cross‑contamination. Before visiting any restaurant, I call ahead to make sure they understand what celiac disease means. I spoke with Raviji, owner of Niravva Indian Resturant, on Victoria Drive, and he assured me the food would be safe for me. Because of cross‑contamination, my wife and I usually avoid Indian restaurants. But last Sunday, we went to Nirvana India Restaurant and we had such a wonderful experience. Opiji came to our table and explained that they prepare all their masalas in‑house and that everything would be safe for me. They even make gluten‑free roti from scratch. It was the first time I ever had a gluten‑free roti in a restaurant. The food was delicious, and the staff were warm and attentive. We also spoke with Opiji, who even shared a simple tip for making gluten‑free roti at home. For the first time, we felt we had found a safe Indian restaurant for us.”

“Over many years of meals and events, I recently discovered Hawksworth's Cocktail Hour in its cozy lounge. Every seat in the room is a comfy one, though I favour saddling up to the bar. You will always find a cocktail or wine to your liking. We usually order near everything from the food menu. Sometimes wagyu, currently prosciutto, always oysters. Main reason I keep coming back is the people. Service in this space never disappoints. I have favourites, of course. You know who you are...”
“Ramneet and Harsh were so friendly, welcoming and kind. I was greeted immediately, and with a smile, she was bubbly throughout the entire experience. I saw her interactions with other customers while I was eating my slice, & her (Ramneet) s consistency is telling of how much business I saw during my visit. If there were more stars, I would give them. Hopefully her superiors see this, & she gets a raise!:)”
“The food is always delicious, and every time I come here, the staff brighten my day with their positive energy. Tonight, Kamil took our order, and we really enjoyed his friendly attitude and excellent service. Highly recommended!”
“Delicious food. I’ve ordered from there 3 times and I always get the curry laska. I think about that soup/pho all the time! The garlic bok Choi is delicious. The vinegar garlic sauce as an add on, adds depth and even more flavour.”
Fine Dining
“Phenomenal food. We both got the chef’s tasting menu & everything was very well thought and executed to the littlest details. We were served by Max & Andrew, both of whom must be passionate about what they do from what we could tell. My guess is that if you’re into delicious food, you’ll find your way to Suyo’s door.”
“My wife and I go to Five Sails every year for our wedding anniversary because we've never been disappointed or dissatisfied here. Even though it appears there has been an overhaul since the last time we came, they didn't fail to impress. The staff were personable, informative, and the food was phenomenal.”
“My friend and I each had the chefs tasting menu. It was very good, a bargin for what you getting.... except the duck ( the main) was seriously underwhelming. My colleague couldn't finish his. I ate mine as I didn't want it to go to waste but I would recommend anything but the duck. Service was truly an 11. The room quite refined and lovely.”
“Incredible food!!!! Husband and I enjoyed the premiere Omakase meal and it was unreal and unforgettable! Every bite was delicious but it was so cool to watch the chef prepare each piece of fish. It was quiet and delicate and very clear the care and effort required for this meal. We’re from out of town but this was such a great find and experience for us!!”
“Though it's only Jan, quite sure this will be one of the best dining experiences of the year, if not the top. Everyone and everything was perfect from the time we sat down till our departure. Great people, food, and space. Easily one of the nicest rooms in Van... And that wine cellar! Thanks Carl et al”
“We did the omakase dinner and added on the chawanmushi towards the end because we just love eating that. Everything was so fresh and well seasoned. We were so amazed at the crab dish which is slightly grilled to give it extra aroma! We will definitely be back again ❤️”
“My sister-in-law and I stopped in for a pre-dinner drink and sat at the bar, and we’re so glad we did.
Alex greeted us right away and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. He took the time to chat with us about the cocktail menu, the French inspiration behind the concept, the beautiful glassware, and all the thoughtful details that make this bar so special. Thank you for indulging our curiosity, answering all of our questions, and creating such a warm, engaging experience.
The cocktails were fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely, and the hospitality really stood out. We’ll definitely be back”
“Wonderful, attentive, and friendly service. The portions are perfectly sized. Not too much but not too little. Pricing, while note cheap, is extremely reasonable for the quality of the food that you're getting. A wonderful gem hidden in Kits. I highly recommend this to anyone. My bet is that you'll be left wanting to come back again.”
“Gotta be one of the most amazing restaurants in Vancouver, if not #1! Absolutely worth braving and unhoused- and drug-beset streets of Gastown for one of the best meals you'll ever have! Started out with the local Amaro flight, which is a must-try if that's your thing; Kakao cocktail is super fun and tasty as well, with accompanying chocolate. Happy Hour menu is incredible, both in taste and value - Beef Tendon Chicharrons are fantastic, far and away the best we've ever had, a must-try. Scallops, Kimchi Croquettes, Eggplant Skewers, Ox Tongue Skewers, and Duck Empanadas are all beautiful and delicious. Roti Canai is not only the best Roti we've ever had, but the best bread we've ever had, period, another must-try. Pork Belly Rice Bowl is another winner, perfectly composed, tender, and savory. Classics Flight is another great excursion, and then Purple Haze and Steel Magnolias were an outstanding pair of well-balanced cocktails. Onto dessert - dinner was so incredible we were tempted to spring for three, so we did. The Miso Ice Cream mochi was a uniquely fantastic textural and flavorful start, followed by the Pavlova topped with pandan sorbet, creme patisserie, and jackfruit - a harmonious ensemble. Finally was the Haskapp Poached Pear, another cohesive combination with oat crumble and awesome rhubarb sorbet and coconut cream. Our server/bartender took great care of us at the bar, all the food came out perfectly paced, and the romantic and copacetic atmosphere of the restaurant made for an unforgettable evening!”
“Love love this place, it deserves all the praises. Amazing quality fish, you can taste the freshness. Service is attentive and personal. Dishes are not only beautiful but have layers of favour, just flawless execution, the chef here is on the top of their game.”
“Best Happy Hour in downtown. Absolutely delicious menu and a very nice location, staff, environment.”
Cheap Eats
“Great mom & pop spot for tasty Chinese food. Simple dishes done very well and cheap. Owners are very nice and offered more rice as I was eating. They even offered me an orange at the end of my meal. I had to decline both as I was full. I ordered the black pepper chicken. Support local!”
“I had an incredible meal here recently. The quality of the food was outstanding. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.
I particularly loved how fresh the vegetables looked in all of our plates. The combination of broccoli and vibrant red peppers in the noodle dishes was a highlight. You can really tell they care about the ingredients they use. I will definitely be back again soon.”
“We went for dinner yesterday and had an incredible experience. The service was outstanding, and the food was without a doubt some of the best we’ve had in Vancouver.
The menu is very diverse, and everything we tried was absolutely amazing. We had the octopus, hot oysters, and the fish none of which should be missed. A true gem in Vancouver”
“I’ve lived in Japan for many years and I have eaten at many delicious Ramen spots - this place blows them out of the water. The BROTH is incredible (I love the miso broth!) but it’s the thick, chewy noodles that really do it for me 🤤 I will (and do) come back to this place over and over again.”
“Great food and excellent service! The Chicken Yaki Udon was delicious, with fresh ingredients and a flavorful sauce. The sushi and other dishes were also incredibly tasty and well-prepared. The food arrived hot and still steaming, which made the experience even better. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant to others!”
“To Live For is worth driving from another country to visit! I live in the US, but make the drive frequently to enjoy their incredible baked goods, both sweet and savory. It is such a welcoming environment with incredible staff too. Highly recommend if you are anywhere near East Vancouver!”
“Stopped by Bali Thai on the second floor of International Village Mall and ordered the chicken noodle soup with beef balls instead of wontons, along with a side of sambal. The broth and noodles are served and eaten separately, which was a little different and worked well. The sambal packed plenty of heat, so I found a little went a long way. The food was tasty, the portions were satisfying, and the prices were very reasonable. There was plenty of seating when I visited. It's also only a short walk from BC Place, making it a handy spot to grab a meal before a game, concert, or other event.”
“The food is great! We live 2 mins away and always pass by the store.
The owner is super friendly! I just experienced one rude staff. I placed my order online, called the store to ask if my order was ready for pick up. She rudely said “I think its ready, you can come now” and just hanged up the phone, no thank you or anything. Kind of disappointing :(”
“one of the best burgers I've ever had. the bannock was excellent too”
“Amazing food here! Absolutely mouth watering! I will be back a million times over. Great service, keep up the good work kitchen team! ✨👏🏼🔥😍”
“Amazing service from Olivia. This lady is one of the best if not the best servers I have ever had at any restaurant bar-none!!”
“Such great food! The servers are second to none and the live entertainment on Saturday was amazing! 10/10 would do it again!”
“We celebrated our 10th anniversary on January 25 at Coast Restaurant during the Dine Out Festival 2026, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. As expected from the Glowbal Restaurant Group, the service was absolutely top-notch. Our waitress made the evening even more special—she happened to be a fellow Swiftie! We ended up having such a lovely chat about how we millennials grew up listening to Taylor Swift, which added a fun and personal touch to our celebration. She truly went above and beyond to make our anniversary memorable. Not only did we receive a complimentary cake as a thoughtful gesture, but she also surprised me with a Swiftie friendship bracelet—such a sweet and unique detail that we’ll always remember. The food was amazing from start to finish. My husband had the New England Chowder for his appetizer, while I enjoyed the shrimp salad. For our mains, we both chose the surf n’ turf—our favorite—and it did not disappoint. We ended the night with a delicious sticky toffee pudding, along with the complimentary cake. Everything—from the incredible food to the warm, attentive service—made our night so special. Thank you, Coast, for such a memorable anniversary celebration! 💕”
“Friendly, knowledgeable bar staff who crafted cocktails based on what we like to drink! Speakeasy vibes. Definitely check out this cute, funky bar!”
“During my visit to Hyderabadi Biryani House with four friends, we had a delightful dining experience that truly showcased the restaurant's expertise in traditional Indian cuisine. The garlic naan was a highlight, with its soft, fluffy texture and rich garlic flavor that perfectly complemented the meal. The veg dum biryani was equally impressive, offering a fragrant mix of spices and perfectly cooked rice that provided a satisfying, hearty dish. The veg curries were another standout, with their rich, aromatic gravies and fresh vegetables that delivered a burst of authentic flavors. The meal was a fantastic experience, with these dishes standing out as the stars of the evening.”
“This tea shop in Vancouver Chinatown is a true gem for tea lovers and anyone curious about the world of tea. The quality and diversity of their teas are exceptional. Whether you're looking for delicate white teas, robust pu-erhs, or fragrant oolongs, they have an incredible selection that caters to all tastes and preferences. Each tea is carefully sourced, and you can really tell the care and expertise that goes into curating their offerings. The owner Daniel's passion for tea is infectious, and his knowledge is both deep and approachable. During a tea-tasting session, he guided us through a curated selection, explaining the nuances of each variety and how to properly savor them. It was a relaxing and educational experience, and I left with a greater appreciation for the art of tea. Whether you're a seasoned tea drinker or just starting to explore, The Chinese Tea Shop is a welcoming and enriching place to visit. I highly recommend stopping by for a taste of their wonderful teas and the chance to learn from Daniel's expertise.”
“Delicioso sabor, buenos condimentos, cocina al momento, 💯% recomendado!!!”
“We had a family birthday lunch at the Lonsdale Quay location that was absolutely fabulous. In our party of five, three of us had sandwiches and two ordered pasta dishes. Everything was so nicely presented and tasted even better than it looked. Can’t wait to go back and try some more of the enticing items on the menu. The setting and atmosphere is lovely and the service was great - an overall joyful experience in dining out.”
And enjoy!”
“We were looking for an authentic Lebanese restaurant in BC. Don’t pass Mazahr’s for lunch or dinner. Food was excellent!!!!!!”
“My wife and I go to Five Sails every year for our wedding anniversary because we've never been disappointed or dissatisfied here. Even though it appears there has been an overhaul since the last time we came, they didn't fail to impress. The staff were personable, informative, and the food was phenomenal.”
“The three of us and a dog came to Nonna’s Cucina on East Hastings for the first time after seeing it several times while driving by. We each ordered the rigatoni dish and in our opinion the quality was at par with Oca and La Tana. Very tasty and flavorful, and good portions. It was so neat to be served on pretty china instead of on a cardboard container. One of the staff came out while we were waiting at our table for our dishes and he was so kind to give our friend’s dog some bits of ham to enjoy! We are so glad to have tried this place out and we will definitely be returning again soon!”
“We had a stellar experience at this venue yesterday. The service was up to par and the menu was amazing. I can't say I have any complaints at all!”
“Highly recommend! Food, services and the environment are PERFECT!!! Definitely will recommend to everyone around me!”
“I have eaten at other Michelin restaurants before and this is my top. By far the best service, best food, everything is exemplary.”
“Had a great experience at Happy Lamb Hot Pot in Vancouver. The soup base was rich and flavorful, and the meat and vegetables were fresh. The lamb was especially good, with great texture and no strong gamey taste. The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable for eating with friends or family. Portions were generous and the price felt reasonable for the quality. Definitely a solid hot pot spot in Vancouver — I’d come back again.”
“We recently celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with an amazing dinner at Nightingale! There were 12 of us and had a family style dinner, which every plate that came out was amazing. I wish I lived in Vancouver because I would frequent Nightingale weekly. Service was prompt and they were consistently keeping the drinks flowing.”
“Great experience if you are craving meat!
Large pieces. Great sauces.
I also loves the atmosphere. Nice casual music. The seating is pretty spread apart so not too cramped. Good views of the street. Would definitely come again.”
“Such great food! The servers are second to none and the live entertainment on Saturday was amazing! 10/10 would do it again!”
“Visiting Vancouver as the last leg of a cross-country trip and stumbled across Oku Izakaya. Even though the restaurant fully booked online we were swiftly seated. Great range of hot and cold Japanese food. Specifically the hot potatoes balls - would definitely go back for those alone!”
“Afghan Horseman never disappoints… my husband and I have been coming here for over 30 years and now it has become a favourite of our kids also. The food…delicious, the atmosphere… unique & cozy, the service… we are always treated like family and we were honoured to be included in their 50th Anniversary celebration this year. Tonight we enjoyed another fabulous dinner experience and we got to share it with our friend from Germany who loved it. Thank you to all our friends at Afghan, we look forward to dining with you in 2025!”
“Great food, the owner comes around to every table asking how everything was. His passion is cooking and the restaurant has been around for forty years. Nice interior, open and child friendly.”
“Had Fantastic service our waiter Darshil was very nice and polite always came by asking how the food was and if he could help with anything else. We got our food and drinks really fast. We definitely will be going back all of the food was amazing!.”
“It was awesome, great food, fantastic drinks and unbelievable company! ❤️❤️❤️”
“Wonderful atmosphere very lively and fun. My server Olivia G was attentive, helpful, and very friendly. She made great recommendations and had the most amazing energy. Will be coming back for sureee”
“We had a great experience at Superflux Brewery and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Riley, our bartender, was outstanding—very attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the beers, and more than happy to help us choose different styles to try. His recommendations and explanations made the experience even better.
Our favorite beers were Coconuts and Happiness. Both were excellent and stood out among everything we sampled.
The brewery also serves food, although we didn't have a chance to try it during our visit.
If you're visiting from out of town and using the local bus system, it's worth noting that some of the surrounding areas have a visible homeless population and can feel a bit rough. We didn't have any issues, but it's something to be aware of if you're walking or taking transit.
Overall, Superflux Brewery is absolutely worth the trip. Great beer, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere made it one of the highlights of our visit”
“I was just here on may 5th 2024. this was the first time having a5 wagyu and it did not disappoint. the service was top notch the food was amazing. I will be back. please put the tomato bisque soup on the everyday menu.”
“We sat and our waiter brought dishes. An excellent experience. A tad loud as there are lots of tables in a small space. Cocktails listed were numerous - ok on the taste. Overall, recommend!”
“One of the very best Japanese restaurants in the city. Reasonable prices and home style Japanese food. Worth the wait. Come early.”
“Nothing beats The Magnet. A great atmosphere and delicious food to pair with an unmatched beer list of BC’s finest. Top notch service and some quirky decor make this a 10/10 dining and drinking experience.”
“Taylor was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The food was fresh, delicious, and there was a great variety to choose from. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back!”
“I didn’t like pizza, but Rocky Mountain Flatbread changed my mind. Great service, well priced, delicious food, lots of options for everyone. Recommended.”
“While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. My wife and I both so impressed with our meal. If we ever go back to Vancouver I know we're I will be eating.”
“Highly recommend Wildlight Kitchen + Bar. Chef Warren Chow is one of the best chef's in the city! Whether its a special occassion or just a night out, its a great spot to visit.”
“wow this is amazing! I had the gluten free Crist with all vegan options. so delicious. you have to try it!!”
“One of our favourite places to go for pizza - always delicious and the atmosphere is lively and fun 🤩”
“Kingyo Izakaya exceeded my expectations in every way. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. The service was friendly and efficient, making the entire dining experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Japanese cuisine.”
“It was my first time to dine in here. The food was really delicious, the place ambiance is beautiful and most of all the service is very awesome. Thank you so much and I will for sure highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.”
““Absolutely loved our dinner here! The prawn Pad Thai was so flavorful and perfectly cooked, the calamari was crispy and delicious, and the spring rolls were fresh and tasty. Everything came out hot and full of flavor. Great service and delivery. We’ll definitely be coming back. CAN'T wait to TRY new DISHES ✨️”
“Amazing food 10/10 heard about it from a friend, will definitely be back”
“Tuna crudo was amazing as was the service by Danni during our visit tonight! Excellent beverages as well - spicy orange margaritas and the slushies ⭐️ Great spot for any occasion - thank you, Homer! Love, the MA/MI connection.”
“absolutely 💯 the food, service, and room are all amazing”
“My friend and I each had the chefs tasting menu. It was very good, a bargin for what you getting.... except the duck ( the main) was seriously underwhelming. My colleague couldn't finish his. I ate mine as I didn't want it to go to waste but I would recommend anything but the duck. Service was truly an 11. The room quite refined and lovely.”
“Read the whole review to get to the good part... the very good part. When my friends suggested that we go to Lavidas restaurant, I was suspect. I am like that with anyplace that is new to me. I go out a lot and don't want to waste a meal on a bad one. We arrived and were given options, taking a nice semi-private area. The place doesn't have fancy tables or surroundings; or uniformed staff, but it was palatable enough for even a discerning restaurant goer. I ordered a cocktail and chuckled when it arrived as it arrived in a tall glass with a couple of small ice cubes; not what I'm used to. That said, they DID have my drink, which isn't something I can say about many high-brow trendy restaurants. (I refuse to go back to them if they don't have my drink - Canadian Whiskey). Now for the good part: We ordered appetizers. They arrived and were more than ample, my partner even putting some of her salad on a plate for me. It was delightful and unique. I ordered the seafood pasta and she the duck, as did our friends. The main course arrived and again was very ample - enough for leftovers. The problem was that dinner was SO GOOD, that I simply couldn't stop. I was amazed that this small, non-descript place had such GREAT FOOD! Dessert arrived and it wasn't sparse either, and it was very nice too. They have a 3 course package deal that's too good a price to be true, AND the a la carte menu is also exceptionally good value. The server was attentive, even though the person serving us had a few tables to take care of, and was very nice. If your #1 goal is a fulfilling, high quality meal, served by nice people - this is the place. They're closed Monday and Tuesday's; so I have to wait until Wednesday to go back.”
“Asa Sushi is a great spot if you're craving both Japanese and Korean cuisine. The food is consistently solid, with plenty of delicious options to choose from.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the girls working there were especially kind and attentive to my 8-year-old, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a lively, welcoming vibe and is usually busy—a good sign that it's a local favorite.
If you're looking for good food, great service, and a fun atmosphere, Asa Sushi is definitely worth a visit!”
“I recently received a lunch box as a gift, and the food tasted absolutely amazing. The variety of dishes was wonderful, and above all, I could really feel the care and effort put into it. I’d love to visit the restaurant in person if I get the chance!”
“Fantastic Italian restaurant with fresh, authentic flavours. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauces were rich but balanced, and the service was warm and attentive. The ambiance is cozy without feeling crowded. Highly recommended.”
“Amazing waffles. Highly recommend this place if you are in Vancouver,”
“Enjoyed the vibe, fast friendly service. Food was good and delicious 👍👍”
“One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I’ve personally tried, globally. Authentic Hanoi (Northern) food. Great bun cha, bun dau mam tom! Great service, big portions, felt just like home. Would revisit multiple times if I ever visited Vancouver again.
P.S I was born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam.”

“Randomly came upon The Brighton, walked in and immediately felt a New Orleans vibe which was delightful. A good ole dive bar feeling where one can relax and be yourself. The staff were amazing, specifically Hubert who provided a laid-back vibe and very good conversation while I sat at the bar. Hubert was working hard pouring drinks and making Nachos for a growing mix of ppl coming from the Lamb of God concert. The 2 girls waiting on customers were also pleasant and down to earth. The music was an eclectic mix of old school rock all the way to the 80’s, 90’s and current metal. Loved it! The place was open late with No Pressure to get during last call. If you’re in Vancouver go, see Hubert at The Brighton before or after a concert at the Coliseum, or a drink to sit back and look at all the awesome memorabilia on the walls.”
“Novamente no Osuchi, e repetimos a experiência e expressamos o bom atendimento com Isabela Yui e Alek, que nos trataram com velhos amigos Sugerindo especialidades da casa , degustada com toda satisfação. Recomendo e voltarei, pois tenho uma estadia de 30 dias em Vancouver e voltarei muitas vezes, parabéns a equipe atenciosa.”
“Our office of 25 did a Chop Chop Beat the Clock with Skript Kitchen in June. Everyone learned how to make a Thai sauce base and we competed in teams to make the best dish. Everyone had so much fun and it was a wonderful team-building experience. Renee was well organized, patient with us (very much needed in a big loud group!) and taught us some little tricks, as well as sharing recipes with us after. Her assistant Camila was excellent with organizing behind the scenes. Seating is a bit uncomfortable for longer periods like ours but otherwise would highly recommend.”
“My first visit today following recommendations from 2 friends and it was a great experience. Friendly staff and totally delicious bread for my prosciutto and brie sandwich and truly excellent coffee in my cappuccino. Will certainly be visiting again. when i am in he area and all best wishes to the owners and staff for this gem to thrive.”
“Ate there today (first time)-it was busy and not surprising as the quality is excellent and one of the few places where the chips are crispy and not soggy like most places. My only suggestion is that they pile too many chips in the basket & I couldn't finish all of them !”

“Food was great. Good portions and taste was good. Owners were very friendly. Hot sauce is actually hot which I was happy to see.
My only complaint is don’t pay them in USD use a credit card. They don’t use any type of exchange rate. My total was $57 and some change in CAD and I handed them $60 USD and he gave me $2 and change back in USD. I didn’t feel quite as bad since they gave us some Prawns for “free” but definitely was $15 difference in CAD and USD”
“Good food and timely service. Deluckshan is a very good server with a bright personality. Always provides timely updates on food and serves with a great attitude with a smile. Please visit the restaurant at Kingsway Location and Deluckshan will always be the good presenter for his work.”
“I've been to many Pakistani restaurants but Karakoram Restaurant stands out for its authentic flavors and generous portions. The karahi was spicy and savory, and the basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant. The staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. I'll be back for more of their delicious dishes!”
“Liam is exactly the kind of bartender you hope to find. Friendly, professional, and genuinely enjoys what he does. He has a knack for making great recommendations, sharing interesting insights, and making everyone at the bar feel welcome without ever missing a beat. Great service, great conversation, and no judgment when I inevitably took way too long to decide what to order. I’ll definitely be back.”
“First time in Canada. Checked out a couple of bars while in Toronto. CRAFT in Toronto was the one for me. Great vibe. Very mellow. Huge variety of Canadian beers which I found to be more flavorful than American beers. Unbeatable service and hospitality from the manager to the hostess and everyone in between. The two nights I spent there were without a doubt the most pleasant bar experiences I’ve ever had. Thanks a lot for making my stay in Toronto the best it could be.”
“Made feel very welcome by the friendly staff, stylish decor and subdued lighting with seating that was spacious to provide that intimate atmosphere. Menu was extensive and the food was great, particularly loved the treacle sponge 😋 Bar area had TVs and music was playing for those that wanted a more social vibe.”
“Attended an event here and had a great time. Beautiful views, great bites but what really stood out was the service. They have such a great team working. One person in particular, Leonardo, was so fantastic. He's friendly, thoughtful and attentive. He would remember your favourite canapes and bring you more of them.
Over the night, two guests dropped wine glasses and both times Leonardo sprang into action to clean up the glass swiftly and discreetly. He is such an asset to that team.”
“If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!”

“Sushi Hyun Omakase is an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, Chef Hyun greeted us with genuine warmth, telling us that this was his dream restaurant—a space he built from the ground up to share his passion. Throughout the evening, he spoke with reverence about his ingredients, working exclusively with wild fish from Japan, and about the trust he’s built with both his customers and suppliers. Each dish was crafted with precision and care, and his storytelling made every bite even more meaningful. The wine list is equally impressive, thoughtfully curated to complement the menu. Chef Hyun’s dedication shines through in every detail, making this not just a meal but a deeply personal experience. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who values exceptional food and genuine hospitality.”
“Second time here and it's just as good as the first! Our server Zee took wonderful care of us and the wine recommendations from their sommelier were all exceptional as well. The meal was one of those outstanding experiences where attentive, friendly and professional service coincided with delicious dishes and atmospheric ambience. It was the right choice to go on a Monday night since the restaurant is not quite as busy so the noise level was energetic but not boisterous. I dislike restaurants that are so busy and loud that you have to strain to hear your dining mates. Many restaurants in the city just don't do enough about the acoustics which hugely impacts the dining experience. Every dish we had was outstanding and had a real consistent point of view that line up with the restaurant's intentions. The highlights were the crispy eggplant, trout and the duck confit. The delicate accompaniments with the different textures and veg elements really elevated the main proteins and went so well with the wine suggested. We will return for more.”
“Amazing spot, such authentic flavours and service was incredible. Best to book (we didn’t but they managed to squeeze us in). Thanks for the delicious food Sip Song”
“This place has the very best burrito in all of Vancouver and I’ve tried them all. Their ingredients are so fresh. Everything is just perfect and the customization is incredible. The price is also really really good especially if you use their app to order the food. They’ll even give you reward points plus a discount on top of that. You can’t go wrong with this place. Gotta try it if you haven’t been there before.”
“Had such a lovely experience today at Amberdo. The atmosphere was calm, cozy, and genuinely relaxing. The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming. I tried the pistachio croissant and the Spanish latte, and both were absolutely amazing. Everything felt warm, friendly, and made with care. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again. ❤❤”
“What an incredible dining experience! If you’re looking for something different with authentic, unforgettable flavours, Caspian Flame is an absolute must.
The food was amazing. Every dish was fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of rich Turkish flavour. It was unlike anything we’ve had before and easily one of the best meals of our trip to Vancouver.
A special thank you to Faig, the owner, who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. He was incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about his restaurant. You can tell he puts his heart and soul into creating a great experience for every guest.
The menu has an excellent variety, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the hospitality is second to none. If you’re in Vancouver and looking to experience a different cuisine with incredible food and even better service, I highly recommend Caspian Flame. We will definitely be back!”
“Love Bar Tartare! One of my new favorite restaurants/wine bars — absolutely perfect for a casual night out with friends. The staff were so kind and I found it very convenient being able to just order whenever you were ready up at the counter. The rotating chef/menu concept is fantastic and I love that they typically source local, in-season ingredients. Not to mention the vibe is just unmatched both indoors and outside on their patio.
The current menu by Alan Older was absolutely fantastic! I truly wish I could’ve tried everything. We had the butter lettuce salad w/ rhubarb + mustard vinaigrette, half roast chicken w/ potatoes + lemon jus, asparagus + mint + parm tagliatelle, and the cheesecake. Everything was super simple but so incredibly well excecuted. The absolute perfect spring meal! The wine options are also always great!
Would highly recommend!”
“I had such a great experience at Pressato Sandwich Bar! The sandwiches are incredibly fresh and full of flavor, definitely some of the best European style sandwiches I've had in Vancouver. You can really tell they use quality ingredients, and every bite tastes authentic.
I also tried their coffee, and it paired perfectly with the sandwich. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.
A special thanks to Stephan, who was so kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to explain the menu and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.
If you're looking for a place that brings real European flavors with excellent service, this is definitely worth visiting. I'll absolutely be coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommended!”
“We tried Cafe Dilli on a whim and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Butter Paneer sandwich, a classic poutine, thai iced tea, and a mango pineapple cooler. Everything was so delicious and the prices are great. It’s incredibly quiet and calm in here, with lots of ample seating. Will definitely be back!”
“Took the kids here last Saturday afternoon and we were all so happy we stumbled in. The grilled cheese they have on the menu was an instant hit with both of them, and I loved that the space felt calm and unhurried even with little ones running around. Staff were genuinely friendly and patient, which as any parent knows makes all the difference when you're wrangling a five and seven year old. We'll definitely be making this a regular stop on our weekend outings.”
