“Oh my… this was quite an experience! When going there, letyourself be surprised by the Chef’s Menu (Menu dégustation in french). Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! Along with the lady who brought each plate and explained to us what they were. And finally the manager, I believe, who came over a few times to talk about the plates, the wine and how the pasta were made the same day, very early in the morning The wine suggestion was also perfect! Finally, the décor is not at all what you would expect, from looking at the menu on the web-site; very fresh, young, modern, yet very warm decor! Please go and try this place. I will definitely be back when travelling to Vancouver. Merciiii!”

“We came for a good bye dinner with our team. Our company closed and Glowbal was selected by numerous recommendations from our other colleagues. When the time for dessert came, our beautiful waitresses came with our ordered sweet cake with “Happy Unemployment “ writing on the plate. It was a bittersweet moment for all of us but our mood instantly switched to laughter and we almost forgot the cause of our gathering”

Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol”

“The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.”

“Outstanding food and truly exceptional service. I had a wonderful experience at rollzzy on Robson. The quality of the chicken rolls was top-notch—fresh, flavourful , and clearly made with care. Highly recommend the butter chicken, chicken tikka and galouti kebab!

But what really stood out was the customer service. There was a small miscommunication between what I ordered and what was made, and even though I told them it wasn’t a big deal and that I didn’t need anything else, they went above and beyond to make the additional food anyway.

That kind of integrity and generosity is rare, and it absolutely deserves recognition. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to everyone I know!”

She got to know us and when she learned about our love of pickle backs… next thing we know there is a round coming to our table! What a great surprise and a fun way to transition from dinner to the concert we were seeing. The Sports Bar also had staff present to help direct and walk along customers from the sports bar to a near by door for easy access to Rogers arena as a private event was blocking the usual door. This was a nice touch as we feared we would have to wait in the long lines outside in the rain. Once again the team at the Sports Bars went above and beyond. We started with the scallops and smoked bison tartare, both of which were outstanding.For other mains, we enjoyed the wood grilled lamb, the Hank tenderloin steak, the Wagyu beef picanha from Brant Lake Farm in Alberta, Blue Dot Beef in Prince Edward Island striploin (10 oz). They were all amazing. The Blue Dot had incredible flavor — juicy, tender, and hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Every steak was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor.We finished the evening with trying ALL THE DESSERTS! The baked Alaska was beautiful and delicious! The ice cream trio was so creamy and rich. The creme brûlée was smooth and dreamy. The chocolate cake was moist and perfectly matched with the passionfruit sauce. The fam favorite was definitely the cheesecake… we were all wanting it! Perfect flavor not too sweet and very smooth. Blackberries were a perfect match. “I have been to this place a few times now. I believe it’s the best Indian fast food place in Vancouver. The staff always know what vegan means so there is never any confusion. My favourite items so far are the golgappe and the chole kulche, but I’m still trying to (very slowly) work my way through the menu. They have vegan mayo which is awesome but I find it very rich so I ask for less or none. The only items I haven’t enjoyed is the drinks but that’s because I don’t like pop/soda; it’s completely a personal preference.”

The butter chicken melts in your mouth. Try the happy hour lunch menu if you are by yourself. You get a tray of lamb, chicken or vegetable curry along with rice, naan, potato curry and crispy pakora. The main menu is all worth trying and sharing with friends. A very special place!”

“Heard about their amazing Pizza’s from our friend Kathy. We ordered two large pizza’s for pick up. Staff were absolutely amazing., polite and courteous. Even offered us a coffee while we waited. Final result pizza was loaded with toppings and tasted fresh. Definitely worth the price and we will travel the distance again.”

“We had my mother's 80th celebration catered by Eat Heritage, looking for a Chinese traditional feast-type ambience, and the food didn't disappoint. Everybody had favourites, but the duck went especially quickly, and the kids dug into the fully loaded fried rice and veggie spring rolls. Me, I was all about the black sesame balls which people appreciated despite having to eat them as dessert when they were already stuffed. We had a nice mix of vegetarian and meatlover dishes with leftovers divvied up after the celebration. Completely happy with the catering service!”

We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!”

“While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. My wife and I both so impressed with our meal. If we ever go back to Vancouver I know we're I will be eating.”

“I had high hopes for this restaurant. Everyone has been talking about it!! It didn't disappoint in a lot of ways. Butter beef was delicious(amazing), beef luc lac was really good as well (but not amazing), two kind of dry noodle??(forgot the exact name but this was just okay to mediocre imo)
And people were going nuts over the wings but they were just okay. I forgot but had better wings(similar style too!!) In Ontario(I wanna say somewhere in marhkam)

“I’m surprised there aren’t any reviews about the dumplings. It looks like FUNK has been offering dumplings on the menu for a while.

I got the spicy chili dumplings as everything about them sounded so amazing. I was dismayed there were only 4 dumplings and a little wood ear salad, a little too pricey at $12.60 incl. tax, but the taste made up for it. I was happy that the dumplings were juicy and cooked well. I have never had mushroom dumplings specifically, so these were a delightful surprise. However, I would say that they’re not spicy despite the name, but I’m Korean, so take that as you will.

This coffee bar used to be a Bank of China branch, and I was really pleased by how they were able to transform the space. There’s a lot of seating and they made good use of the interior layout. There’s even a photo booth.

I would probably come back to try their pastries.”
