“First time at It's Raw. The shop is tucked away but super close to the beach. The service is extremely quick! They have differently seasoned salmon, ahi, veggies, as well as drinks and desserts. The poke was fresh and I got to eat it right by the beach!“

“This place is so cute- a bit of a hole in the wall with outdoor seating. It's aligned with the ambiance of PB. The spam musubi is just okay tbh, but my favorite thing to get is the Jr. Boy, which is sooooo good 5/5. The sausage and egg with rice is a delicious small savory thing to eat after having the french toast. The coconut syrup served with the french toast is amazing. I wish I was closer because I want to try out all the other food!“

“The variety of food offered here made it very enjoyable for everyone in our family! My kids loved the panko shrimp and the poke bar where they were able to select various fresh fish and toppings. The adults had sushi (beautiful presentation), spam musubi, ahi crispy tacos, and fried squid legs (my favorite - perfect crisp on the outside and super tender inside)! It was an awesome meal just a few steps from Pacific Beach!“

“Actual local-Hawaiian food can be pretty hard to find in SoCal, so this place is nothing short of a godsend. Laulau and all the various kinds of real poke! So happy to have found this place. The pork tonkatsu was a little salty for my taste, but no matter, I will be back to eat more of the other great things offered here.“

“First made the drive down to Blue Poke for a Yelp event, but came back a few times when I found myself in the area. There are a few other blue pokes that have since opened closer to central San Diego with one in North Park, but I think the quality varies from location to location- this location in National City being the best! First of all, the design of the store is so fun and I could tell it was clean and well maintained. I had a delicious poke bowl with my favorite spicy ahi (minced style). They have a good number of toppings to choose from along with great sauces. This is what I like to call "chipotle style" poke where you build your bowl, but everything was good! Easy parking to grab your bowl for take-out!“

“Service is exceptional, great vibes and the food is more than I was expecting, the tuna is very fresh, rice has good consistency to use your chopsticks as it should. Their lemonades with real real fruit like strawberries and mango are so refreshing ?. Definitely going back.“

“Everyone in our house used to like poke. After we found Poke Chop, we LOVE poke! They have so many options of fish and sauces and toppings. I’ve never found as big of a selection. My daughter would eat here every day if I’d let her. There aren’t many places in Hillcrest where a family of 3 can get dinner for around $30, and be totally stuffed, and not feel blah afterwards. The fish is always really fresh. The only thing that could make it better is if they added mango, mmmmm. We try to eat there as much as possible because it will be a very sad day if they close. (It’s a reality in the Hillcrest restaurant business ☹️).“

“Darn it, they moved from just around the corner, to up by the college -- problem parking AND apparently they are only doing catering and not lunch plates. The food was awesome and authentic and made with much aloha. Oodles by the Nood Bar moved into the space vacated by Da Kine.“

My favorite is the marinated tuna and the spicy tuna + adding spicy crab, plus the sweet sesame, citrus ponzu, and spicy mayo sauce. All of the sides are delicious!! “Great place to eat. Made my own poke bowl. Fish was fresh and portion sizes were big. Though secluded in a small shopping area next to the seaport, you still get plenty of sunshine and sea breeze. Helps also that the staff is really friendly!“

“Service was good. Prices were reasonable. Decor was fun. My teriyaki chicken with rice was good. My daughter ate all of her chicken teriyaki bowl. My wife’s teriyaki steak was burnt, though. We sent it back (they actually just left the first one at our table). The second one was almost as bad. The server noticed and took that dish off of our bill without us asking (which was nice). Stay away from the steak and you’ll be fine. We would go back, so please don’t take this as a negative review.“

“After eating at their North Park location and having them cater an event, I wish I could give them more stars. In both instances, the food was amazing, the portions were generous, and when there was a small mix up about the catering order they had someone personally come back out and deliver a bonus item, plus a couple gift cards. The business is run by genuinely kind people and their catering service is truly outstanding. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer, or to anyone who is just hungry and wants to support a family business.“

“Such a friendly and kind owner—he made my day with his kindness!! He prepared 12 meals for my coworkers and myself so efficiently, making all of them so well while working by himself. “I'm so addicted to the Torched Salmon Aburi bowl here. I add avocado and it's really worth it. They recently moved 2 stalls over in the Market on 8th food hall and share space with Cafe Indonesia now. Everything I've tried has been good and I keep wanting to try new things on the menu from them and from the Cafe Indonesia menu too, but it's very hard to not just keep ordering my usual.“

However, the onions, while flavorful, were cut in larger pieces than I would have preferred; a finer chop would have enhanced the overall texture. “Order before you come!!! My one person/plate order took 30min. (Did come at 6pm on a Sunday) Tons of Uber eats/door dash and people picking up takeout. I almost drove away because it looked busy but I was starving and craving Hawaiian. Door dash guy at the front waiting said 10min wait... I ordered a 2 item combo Korean Chicken and Teri beef. Delicious. Food was bomb, flavor was abundant. The chicken was fresh and hot, the beef was lukewarm. But taste was great! There's 5 tables in here, not much and it's not the cleanest but they were so busy what could u expect... feels like a mom and pop owned franchise.“

“I like the taste of the food. I have tasted them all and they're very good. customer service is good, take your order quickly and in less then 10 minutes your order is ready. I like their egg rolls, they are so fresh just made in house not frozen. Ambiance us quiet.“

“Solid breakfast spot in OB. They have a decent size outdoor patio that is dog friendly! I tried the Kailua Pork Benedict and a specialty coffee. The Benedict looked great but was definitively missing some seasoning. My specialty Hawaiian coffee (can't remember the name of the one I ordered) was delicious and a great pick my up for the morning! Staff was friendly but not the most attentive.“

“The food is very good, sometimes I drive 30 minutes one way just to eat their food, the only issue I have is that sometimes they serve you enough and other times too low amount everything depends on the person. But the food is very good. I order the poke and any of the prepared protein scoops available all are good.Parking: There is always space to park“

“I've only had good luck here, I've only had good food here, I always order the volcano chicken teriyaki bowl They put freshly diced pineapple and freshly diced mango over the chicken teriyaki, Great sauce, that is totally delicious..... I'm a "total foodie" and I'm extremely intuitive, in-tune and I could tell you that this food here It's always been good and clean and fresh and fast, They also have really wonderful tea selection up on the counter (not too sugarized tea)If I ever experience a negative issue with this restaurant I will come back and change my review but as of right now I think it's one of the best little restaurants here at Liberty Station Point Loma.“
