“This is probably my favorite restaurant in San Diego. I love Thai food and have never had any this good! Definitely worth the price. My favorites are the Hat Yai Fried Chicken and the Grilled Angus New York Steak (over beef tallow fried rice). The ambiance is great, though it gets busy on weekends (so you probably want a reservation).“

“Great service, not the best looking location, but some pretty darn good food! I’m petty picky about my pad Thai and they made it just right. Location isn’t the best looking but that’s not what we fatties are here for right!!!? Highly recommend :)“

“On food alone I would give 5 stars. Our first visit we were greeted with very rude front counter. Really started our dining experience on a sour note. However, we decided to assume that the server was just having a bad day. Glad we did, the food was delicious. We came back the next day for more.“

“Delicious plant-based food and the ambiance is so warm and welcoming. All of the food I ate was amazing and I definitely love how a lot of the options are mainly vegetable based rather than the usual "impossible meat" that a lot of other restaurants serve. I never enjoyed that as an option for someone who doesn't eat meat so I am glad that it is omitted from the menu. Heavily recommend to vegans and non-vegans! Will come again soon!“

“Me and two friends came here a few weeks ago for dinner around 6:30 on a Saturday. There was a little line so we ended up having to wait about 20 minutes to get seated. The restaurant isn't too big but they have plenty of seats. Once seated we were immediately greeted by our friendly server who quickly took our order. I got the basil chicken and Tom yum soup. The soup was honestly lacking in flavor (I think some of the key elements must be non-vegan) but it was still good. I really liked the basil chicken it was so delicious and bursting with flavor. I would definitely come back here again - esp if I have a vegetarian/vegan friend with me!“

“What. A. Burger! A Spicy Pad Kaprao Pork Burger with a very flavorful spice that was out of this world. Sticky rice for the bun took it over the top in a way that I've never thought to try. The fried egg was the finishing touch that will get me back in the ship.“

“We are regular visitors of Imperial Beach but have not tried Siam Imperial Thai kitchen. I’m not sure why we waited so long. The order was prepared promptly and was ready at the pick up time quoted. We went fairly basic with our order but were not disappointed. The chicken satay skewers were cooked to perfection and were tender and delicious. We had an order of the yellow curry chicken, which was full flavor and the spice was on point. The speciality combo included a tasty spring roll, light and flaky tempura shrimp, two wontons and a choice of soup or salad. We opted for the coconut soup, and it was absolutely amazing. The coconut flavor mixed with a little bit of spice and saltiness tickled the palette and left us very satisfied. From now on every trip to IB will include at least one meal at Siam Imperial Thai kitchen.“

“This place has the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. It was so good that the first time we had it we went back the next day. Their service is amazing too. We chatted with who we assume is the owner a bit and he was super cool and friendly. Highly recommend.“

“Here we are again having another fabulous meal prepared for us. But's this time There was a party of maybe 6 women and they prefer to have the other entrance open so my wife froze her butt off for the whole meal it seems like it was below 0 degrees but all in all we still had a great meal. Maybe I should have said something to our waitress but I didn't want to upset the girls.“

“I was there for take-out twice, so I have more experience w the service and food. About the food, it's fantastic. I felt like Laoatian has a ton of similarities with Thai. But even the, this was some of the best I've had, even in Thailand. I'm sure I picked the wrong places.“

“Fantastic little Thai restaurant in Mission Hills with a great atmosphere. The open-air feel of this place is a huge vibe. With a fun name like "What De Health" (a play on of "hello" in Thai [""] and "what the hell") I knew I had to try it. I loved both the curries my friend and I tried. They were very authentic, appropriately spicy, and full of delicious flavors. They've got a big menu and I'd love to go back and check it out again to try out some other dishes! One of my new favorite Thai spots in San Diego! Thanks, What De Health!“

“This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in the USA. The photos is what was left of my pad see ew after eating my fill. Portions are enormous for very reasonable prices. Friendly small intimate with incredible food. I got Pad Thia to go a different night and I swear the portion was even bigger. I eat for 3 meals.Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor roll in and out off the sidewalk.“
“The pad Thai was amazing and very flavorful. We also had pad se ew and that was also good. My husband's biggest complaint was we got an order of sticky rice and it was not sticky rice- it was steamed rice and a big let down when we got home. I'm not saying it broke his heart... but he was pretty upset. But pad Thai and pad se ew was yummy“

“We have been to Thai Social now twice, and the food is delishious, the first time we had beef drunken noodles and mixed yellow curry and shrimp wrapped in wrapper these were simple and nice size shrimp very tender and succulent with a chili dipping sauce, this is a very nice appitizer all where very good, the second time we had the pad Thai chicken and it to was very good, we also had the won ton soup, the soup was delishious except the won ton wrapper was a little pasty I think they made the wrapper with flour? Instead of corn starch, this won ton soup is delishious full of Won ton's and vegtables, peppers we got 6-7 and it was nice and spicy its a meal in its self! The wrapper of the won ton is just weird, staff are very nice, and attentive the resturant it self is very clean, very nicely decorated and cozy, not a loud resturant, it's warm and cozy, I am very happy we can walk to this Thai restaurant. We will be back“

“Always love it there. Just went there last night and I was so frazzled from a bad day and both the man who worked there and the woman at the register were so nice to me. I was being that annoying customer not able to decide on the menu. I was between curry and pad Thai and she gave me such a great recommendation to get the khao soi which is egg noodle with curry base so I kinda get both. I never had it before and I loved it and will now be part of my usual order when I want Thai.“

“I met up with friends on a Thursday night. It's quite busy but we got a table right away. We ordered some appetizers (pork belly, ahi poki, crab wonton) during happy hour. We also got lamb chop, pineapple fried rice, Penang curry with chicken and they were all delicious. The presentation was pretty as well. I heard that they have an all day happy hour on Sunday. I can't wait to go back for more. Follow me @bonn_voyager for more.“

“Cute Thai place off of El Cajon. It's nestled in the same plaza as Rise, Cheba Hut, and some fitness centers, so parking can be tough, but it's open after 8pm and worth checking out for a nice dinner. Service was only one person on a Friday night, but they were attentive and our food arrived quickly. Food- Favorites are the tamarind wings, tom yum with shrimp, and pad thai. The spice level is from 1-10 so we chose 5, but as someone who doesn't really do well with thai spices, could have gotten a 7-8. We also got the house special Ka Pao that tasted even better the next day. The soup was refreshing and a good as well - two of us finished the large as a starter.“

“Loved Soi's! Came here for a later lighter lunch and shared the crab fried rice. It was delicious! They have a good assortment of chilis that you can add and it rounded out the dish perfectly. I'm excited to come back and try out their other menu items for a bigger meal. Located in North Park so there isn't a dedicated parking lot - it is all street parking.“
“We LOVE Pad Thai Stand!! Ever since I moved to San Diego I have been getting Pad Thai Stand when I need comfort food, want take out or just feel like great Pad Thai. This is the best Pad Thai in San Diego. We get northern and southern and then have half of each for different flavors. Love the creativity in the different flavors of each item. People and staff and always so friendly and it is appreciated. Casual and minimal seating so better for a quick bite or take out.“

“The staff here is so nice! We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was relatively empty. Small in this random plaza. As soon as we came in, the server was very friendly and sat us immediately. It had a quaint diner feel and small but cozy. We ordered a basil thai noodle and a fried rice and both were delicious. The service was quick, bathrooms were clean, and food was solid.“

“Came here for dinner while in town for business. The restaurant is in a great location. The outside looks unassuming, but it's quite big once you walk inside. I tried their Thai fried rice and Thai iced tea. Both tasted pretty good. I wouldn't say it's the best fried rice I've ever had, but it's good enough that I wasn't feeling bad eating that much carbs for my meal lol Service was good if you can get their attention. There were only 2 severs working that night and the restaurant for pretty full later. So I'm not gonna blame them for lack of attention since they're stretched thin. Overall a pretty solid Thai place, and I'd be back if I crave Thai food and I happen to be in the area.“

“Service was super friendly and efficient. Most dishes were delicious - loved the choo-chee snapper curry dish, pad see ew and peanut sauce tofu entree also were good. Didn't love the lettuce wrap starter, and the veggie spring rolls didn't have much flavor at all. Easy parking in a strip mall, and a nice environment for an intimate meal with a small group.“

“Try outside of your comfort zone and you’ll realize all the food in this place is bomb. The owners are so nice and polite, if you have questions about the menu, they provide honest feedback/suggestions. Small space, but perfect for take out so you can enjoy back at home! Serving sizes is perfect in their containers and for the price in my honest opinion.“

“I tried this place for the first time today with coworkers and I'm really happy I was invited along. We ordered egg rolls, cream cheese wontons and the Tom Kha for appetizers. Their spice level is 1-10 and the soup was a 3, not very spicy. I wanted to start lower than increase the spice level on my next visit. 3 has some kick and best suited for those who aren't crazy about heat. All three items were great, soup was one of the best ones I've had here in SD. My main dish was the Thai beef salad. Lemon grass marinaded beef over lettuce and mixed with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, and green onions. It was tossed is a fish sauce based dressing with chili flakes and I got this a 3 spice level. Again, could have done a higher level. Delicious and refreshing! I would ordered this again. I wanted to keep it light on a work day. Next time I dine here I will order a noodle and rice dish. They have reasonable lunch specials from 11-3pm. Must try!“

“When it comes to starting to be busy, I hope she needs at least one helper. Basically, she was doing multitasking like in cashier, receiving food orders, bringing foods at table and cleaning the tables. I just finished my food and sat on the table and I've been waiting for my food order to go, to give it to me, unfortunately I waited for about 20 minutes. The food is actually ready, and I know she was very busy and totally understood that. When I asked if my to go food is ready, then she gave it to me. Finally, going out the door exit, then she asked me if I paid already. I said I paid already before taking my food orders at the cashier. But she apologized, and I don't blame her because she was kinda tired. Anyway, she has good personality and customer service. Also, the food is delicious.“

“Ordered takeout to my hotel. Food arrived very quickly via Uber eats and was delicious. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai with veggies. I wanted a hint of spice so I only picked 1/10, but it was more like a 4/10 or so. Next time I will order no spice. But all and all I really liked it. The mango sticky rice was also amazing!“

“So good we had to go two Saturdays in a row! Ordered pad Thai, pad see ew, Thai Basil, Panang Curry, & all of it phenomenal. Best Thai flavors we have had I think. We got it to-go and the gentleman kindly brought it over before I was fully out of the car. Everything hot and fresh. Spice level is high so maybe go down a number or two from your usual spice level ?“

“We wandered in at about 7pm for dinner one night and were easily greeted and sat almost immediately. It's small, but well decorated and is a classy spot.Staff were super attentive and friendly and all our food was out quickly.I had an unsweet iced Thai tea (large and delicious) and we got steamed dumplings, duck, and chicken Pad Thai. One of the best servings of Pad Thai I've ever had! All the food was wonderful, including the dumplings. Hubs loved his duck and nearly cleaned his plate (rare for him). They have a charming patio but it was too cold on the December night we visited.Happily a new fav in Coronado for dinner.
