“This hidden gem in Danville is tucked away on a downtown side street, Rose Avenue in a tastefully restored cozy home. Four of us visited recently and had the most delicious meals and innovative, yummy cocktails.
Angi, the owner, and her crew made us feel like we were guests in her home while she helped us choose from new and standard Thai dishes. She even had the chef alter ingredients in several of the dishes to accommodate food allergies.
We know we’ll be returning many times to enjoy this special, hidden gem in the valley!

“Impeccable service, food perfection. Even the simplest ingredients, masterfully combined, make for fantastic bites! The Avocado Bruschetta is a perfect example of that. And it’s unlike any other. Simply delicious. The chicken sliders are a tradition for a reason: the house made biscuit is a revelation, and it isn’t everyone who can match that baked flaky goodness with the perfectly fried chicken. Unbelievable. I’ll be back again for that. The spicy shrimp had the perfect combo of heat/spice and sweet curry flavors. And I love the wine list!!”

“So happy to finally have an authentic French bakery cafe in our town. Their coffees, breads, pastries and quiches are superb and I love it when they add new flavors and items on the menu. Also I think most of their pricing is reasonable given the quality of their ingredients. So they are doing fabulous but here are some additional suggestions from me - -I wish they would do a weekly soup and quiche flavor according to the seasons as they do with desserts. -I would love to see a comprehensible cake list with sizes and prices to be able to order cakes for birthdays and such. -I would love to see opera cake slices as it’s one of my favorites. -Since most items are on the $$ side, it would be great if they let people sample a few of the newer things because people are hesitant to spend money on something they are not sure they would like. “Absolutely phenomenal food, super friendly staff, and a clean and beautiful ambiance. I visited for the first time two weeks ago and knew I needed to bring my family. Brought both my partner's parents and my parents for a birthday celebration/first meeting and the restaurant wowed everyone. The staff was extremely friendly and genuine. Every dish was raved about. “My boyfriend and I always come here when we’re craving for something delicious and healthy. I order the same thing every time because it’s so good. 😅 The Salmon with Quinoa is my favorite! I should try something else next time because my bf have tried a few different ones and he always end up liking it. I also love the chocolate chip cookie! Wish they sell a pack of 12 😂”

“Fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious Mediterranean food in Danville! My wife and I love this place and order takeout from here every week. I highly recommend the gyros, salmon plate, shrimp, dolmas, tzatziki, and rice pilaf. Everything is cooked to perfection, and the grilled Mediterranean flavor they achieve is simply fantastic. We’ll definitely keep coming back and are so glad to have this wonderful, healthy Mediterranean restaurant in Danville.”

“I have only been here twice during the day but, so far but each time the food was absolutely the best I have had in Danville. The ingredients are imaginative and exceptionally tasty. What I also appreciate is that the chef’s menu changes which makes it exciting. The exterior is not much and could be improved, but that may keep the crowds away for a while which makes it easier for me to look forward to bringing friends and enjoying a charming meal!!!!”

“This place is the best. Tiny but mighty. No indoor seating, but plenty outdoors. The baristas are super enthusiastic and kind, and their coffee is delicious! I got an iced caramel latte and it was the perfect pick me up. Bring cash to tip!”

We especially enjoyed the Tiradito of Albacore, the Spicy Hamachi and the Danville and Salmonholic rolls! The Mango Cheesecake with Green Tea ice cream was a great finish. Our waiter Nick was superb and helped ensure everything went smoothly. We'll definitely return for an encore!”

I can't say enough about the amazing experience at Danville Wood Pizza! We ordered the Pesto Pizza, French Dip, and Chicken Wings, and every bite was absolutely top-notch—truly world-class! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality was outstanding.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the owner, AJ, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. It's rare to find such a perfect combination of exceptional food and genuine hospitality.

“So excited Danville Kitchens took over the Garlex space. SUCH good pizza! My family loves it. I have to eat gluten free and the gluten free pizza is the best I have ever had. Even my husband and kids say you can’t tell it’s gluten free!

Wings and salads are super yummy too. Will be excited once they are able to serve beer it will be fun to stay in and eat there. We’ve only ordered to go at this point.”

“Amazing food!! Hands down the best toasts in the entire Bay Area and great coffee too! We ordered avocado toast and salmon toast - both were delicious, extremely fresh and great presentation! Delicious juice too, although the consistency was more of a lemonade, but nevertheless very refreshing and yummy. They also have mimosas and champagne-based coctails, along with berry oats, as an alternative to a toast in the morning - both of which are definitely on my list to try next.

Our favorite dishes were the focaccia bread, persimmon salad, lamb sliders, and the espresso creme brûlée. We were also excited to hear the menu changes every season - looking forward to our next visit.

“This Starbucks location receives more online orders than in person usually- service, as in most in the industry, depends on who you get. The day I was there, the store manager served us. She was absolutely lovely! Lovely! Received our drinks and under 4 minutes, and they were well made. Parking is typically tight, Wi-Fi is good (recommend nordvpn or similar of course), and both the interior and exterior are kept clean. This location is extremely impacted by the 680 on-ramp traffic! If you're able, I highly recommend approaching from the East or South. Cheers!!”

I personally wouldn’t dine in. While i have seen 1 or 2 guests eating in, it doesn’t really look like they want people to sit down. It’s almost like they had dine-in pre-covid and left the dinning room as is and don’t object to people sitting but also don’t do anything to make it comfortable.From what’s visible of the kitchen areas, the food prep and service areas look clean and cared for. It’s really just the interior structure - walls, floors and ceilings haven’t been maintained.To a newcomer walking in you might think they are going out of business any day now. “Great food and service! We ate inside because it was 100 degrees...again...so we thought we'd brave the "noisy" indoors. Turns out it was only half full on a Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and older people so it was very quiet. We could see how the acoustics were going to make it a very noisy place; hard surfaces everywhere. Our waiter outperformed our needs, as did the bartender, who came over to check on the quality of the Sicilian Etna Rosso wine I was drinking. We loved it, but outdoors looks even better (once the temp dropped!). Note: wine list is expensive and there aren't any "fallback"-priced everyday wines, so be prepared for a little sticker shock.”
