“I'm left speechless. Just a flawless performance from start to finish. We used Sierra and Billy for our wedding last weekend and they were the absolute best. Beginning with communication, they respond almost immediately whenever you reach out. They are super helpful and know what works best for almost any situation. I really felt like we were in good hands throughout the process, which when you are planning your wedding is incredibly important with the amount of stressful things happening. The food quality was a 10/10. Our guests were raving about all the items, from the passed apps (crab Rangoon style rolls, fried chicken biscuit sliders, bacon wrapped dates were all particularly popular) to the actual entree (we went with a taco bar and it was fantastic), we were so pleased. Couldn't recommend this team more highly. I went in to meet with them prior to the event and they were all incredibly pleasant and excited to be there. I've worked in the event catering world for years and know that having an entire team of positive people can be hard to come by. “First made the drive down to Blue Poke for a Yelp event, but came back a few times when I found myself in the area. There are a few other blue pokes that have since opened closer to central San Diego with one in North Park, but I think the quality varies from location to location- this location in National City being the best! First of all, the design of the store is so fun and I could tell it was clean and well maintained. I had a delicious poke bowl with my favorite spicy ahi (minced style). They have a good number of toppings to choose from along with great sauces. This is what I like to call "chipotle style" poke where you build your bowl, but everything was good! Easy parking to grab your bowl for take-out!“

If they can't make good beans, then I know "they aren't worth beans." This place serves good beans. Not refried here, just simple tasty beans. To me, that's getting their foot in my door. The restaurant didn't look very big but it had a constant flow of people. I saw a lot of people come get takeout so that would be a convenient option. “I hired Taco Love to cater my wedding in February and would happily look forward to hiring them again for any future event. Consider this a glowing review, and a recommendation to hire them for your events! Guests are still raving about how great the food was ... many of them were so taken by the appetizers that they didn't even realize a dinner course was still to come! After being super disappointed with the attitude and racist comments from a *different* caterer that had been highly recommended to us, we found Randy and Taco Love and it was a perfect fit! From the first phone call, we knew we were on the right track for our event. He was always kind, very laid-back (something that vibed really well with my personality, but something to note if you want things super formal and in writing right away), and very accommodating to the unique needs and vision of our event and venue space. He would always tell us "it is your wedding ... you let me know what you want and we will make it happen!" We used some of his serving dishes, and some of our own. At our tasting, he made sure we had one of each thing on his menu and it all tasted so great! The meat and veggie options were very delicious, and the salsas were incredibly flavorful. From there, the process was very smooth. There was no limit on the menu, he allowed us to choose from everything they make on the truck. The price was reasonable, and he even added a dessert option only two weeks out from the wedding! Our guests LOVED the churros and ice cream. He was right on time for our wedding, and from what we could tell everything ran so smoothly! We had plenty of food for our guest count of 130. My only regret, is that as the bride and groom we were so chaotic that day we didn't get to eat as much as we wanted to! We are already planning a time to catch his truck when we are back in town so we make up for that! Thank you, Randy! We look forward to eating your food again hopefully soon!“

“We recently hosted our wedding and had the opportunity to work with Eco Caters for the event. Christine did an amazing job of helping us navigate options and coordinate logistics throughout the process. Once we had scheduled tastings, Chef Esteban was phenomenal in preparing our dishes and really setting up the experience for us; we had even requested to taste items that weren't part of the usual offerings and he had no problem with completing those. On the day of, both Esteban and Randi smoothly prepared the food and made sure everything was ready on time. In addition, all of the servers were quick and attentive, so we never ran out of drinks or had empty plates/etc hanging around for too long. The total food prepared was just right for the number of guests; we took home only a few containers of leftovers, even after several guests went back for seconds. We got tons of feedback from our guests who also loved the food, especially the braised beef and popcorn chicken. Overall we had a fantastic time and would definitely work with Eco Caters in the future!“

To make sure that it wasn't just because I was hungry that day and it was as I remembered I took her here, and I can confirm its honestly one of the best burrito/taco shops around.I can honestly recommend their California burrito to anybody and know that they'll enjoy it - not to mention it's hugeee. It's filled with carne asada, fries, pico and sour cream.Their crispy tacos are amazing and can recommend the shredded beef taco as a great addition to the burrito.The only downside is that their parking lot consists of 3 spots - 6 if you squeeze cars in and can be a bit of a hassle to park but it shouldn't discourage you from trying this place out.“
