“Absolutely delicious coffee and not overly sweet. So grateful that they had a vegan option for the classic Saigon Coffee as well. The line was long but the employees worked through it very quickly and were happy to answer any questions. Can't wait to come back!“

“Our go-to place with friends and family. They have a lot of good dishes for everyone and can accommodate large groups. My little one loves the calamari appetizer, my other child always gets the Pho and my favorite dish is the vermicelli bowls. The staff is super friendly. It's the perfect spot for a casual and enjoyable meal.“

“The best authentic Vietnamese"banh mi" in Southern California. I live in LA, but every time I travel to San Diego, Paris Bakery is always my first place to visit. They have a variety type of Banh mi with reasonable price, their tastes are always delicious.“

“Best vegetarian Chinese food I've had! Really good fake meat, the flavors are spot on, and the portions are really large. It's nice that steamed rice comes with your meal. Highlights are the shrimp, Kung pao chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and the chow mein. Everything was so good, and we couldn't finish it all. Order at the counter and food comes out quickly. Inside is very casual, nothing special, but plenty of seating.“

“Some of the better pho I've found in San Diego outside of "little Saigon" in the City Heights neighborhood. The broth is rich and complex, the aromatics are fresh, and the meat is good quality. Service is also great here. Food comes out in just a few minutes. I enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee as well, they serve it in a drip over condensed milk, which is kind of fun to watch. Definitely recommended when seeking authentic pho in town.“

“The food came out really fast and super fresh. We tried the egg rolls, summer rolls, banh mi with pho dip, and grilled pork banh mi. Definitely best banh mi I have ever had. The service was good, staff was friendly and not interruptive of our meal. The ambience was calm, quiet and clean. 10000/10; favorite place.“

“I love Mien Trung whole heartedly and no, I do not have any relation to the owners. I am so passionate about this restaurant, it is my one recommendation to everyone and will be my first meal out of a metaphorical prison and my last meal. When I have a birthday I eat Mien Trung. When I have a celebration- drivers license passing, exams passing, out of the hospital... you name it. So many folks have never tried Vietnamese foods other than pho and there are soooo many more foods the culture offers!! Bun bo hue and banh bot loc are my favorite foods in the world. Specifically Mien Trung's dishes. My every event that needed catering if i had the say, it would always be Mien Trung. and even if it wasn't my say that decided the catering, my family would get Mien Trung probably ~80 of our family birthdays!! Banh bot loc, bun bo hue, xoi if you want dessert, coconut if you want drink. Trusttttt favorite food + favorite restaurant!!!“

“The culinary experience provided by this establishment is truly remarkable. The Pho broth, in particular, stands out as exceptional, surpassing any other we have encountered. It is evident that this establishment experiences a significant influx of customers during both lunch and dinner hours. Furthermore, free 2 hours parking, which adds to its appeal. The service provided by the staff is characterized by warmth and friendliness, creating a welcoming ambiance for patrons.“

“They were pretty nice and were patient. My friend is kinda slow at ordering haha. But it was good pho and a very fair amount. The meat was like 5/10, pho itself 8/10, noodles 8/10, restaurant 8/10.Would of been nice to have some mint, or some kind of flavor like mint and lemon in the water. Ya know just so it stands out.I’ve had the black bean fish that was also very good but a little more pricey.“

“Absolutely amazing experience, I chanced on this place walking to the trolley station, and let me tell you, I lucked out. Everyone there is welcoming and helpful and the atmosphere is great. The food is sooooo good. I had the tofu stir fry and might have it again tomorrow because I was so appalled. My tummy is rumbling right now just thinking about it.“

“Since our local banh mi spot burned down, we had not found a new place that compared but this new place is amazing and their sandwiches are delicious! I would give them 5 stars but if I don't get there early enough, they tend to be out of croissants by noon and they are opened until 7. This has happened to me numerous of times. Other than that, they are awesome!“

“I am so glad I found this place. They have so much different buns to choose from. Of course the #1 is the original, so it's a must try. But I will eventually try them all! They also deep fry them too so make sure to try that out. They also have egg rolls and Vietnamese coffee.“

“We stopped here after my tattoo appointment last week and we were ready to EAT! I was pleasantly surprised at all of the vegan options Goi Cuon had to offer, from the different spring rolls, to the Banh Mi to the drinks. You can order Thai Iced tea or Vietnamese coffee with Coconut milk. Our order: - Vegan combo #4 which comes with 2 different spring rolls, fried vegan roll, fried tofu, and one dumpling. -Vegan Pho - vegan ham, fried tofu, a bunch of veggies -Vegan Banh Mi We asked for no mayo, just to be super safe and not assume they leave it off but they do! We were told that it does not come with the mayo. The food is fresh and flavorful. Oftentimes, vegetarian or vegan pho lacks a lot of flavor and creativity but not at Goi Cuon. We even ordered food to go. My only complaint is that each spring roll in 1 order comes with 1 roll for $3, that's a bummer. Other than that, I wish they were closer.“

The soup of PHO was super delicious. We're sharing Lobster, Oxtail, Beef shank Pho, omg that so good, and the Thai tea w Cream is good. Inside was beautiful calm and chill with Jazz music, there also got 4 of a lovely fish tanks inside. I really recommend for everyone's family should come and visit if u guys travel like us. “You better have some good teeth because the meat is very very chewy. I wish the meat was more tender. The sauce is gross. The customer service is not so friendly and welcoming. The guy that works at the front counter was not friendly and he was very rude. Parking is not really convenient.“

“This is a nice little pho and sushi restaurant tucked away at 6th after the freeway on ramp. Sushi and pho are the perfect SoCal combo. I ordered a large bowl of the House special pho (pho dac biet), a small hot sake, and a rainbow roll.Everything was delicious and I was stuffed. The sushi was skillfully and quickly prepared and the deluxe pho had great soup with the right saltiness. On top of that the place is spacious with incredibly high ceilings, great big TVs and cool lights.I'll be back again and I'm sure the spot may be perfect for karaoke, a games night, or even watching sports games or Ru Paul's Drag Race.“

“This place is honestly great, they have the sweeter boba which I like and their drinks are really good. Their cookies you can tell are fresh made, not store bought with chemicals. It’s a hidden gem and beats a lot of the Convoy St shops with way easier parking!“

“It was our first time ordering from Saigon Vegan Bistro, we didn’t realize it was the ghost kitchen of Loving Hut. We love LH and now happy to have SVB as another option to add to our vegan food weekly rotations. We love the beef noodles and fried rice. You a taste the quality of food in every bite. I love the texture of the noodles. I’m really picky about my noodles and the chewiness of the ones here are superb! I’m salivating just thinking about them now. :)“

“First time patron. The pho, spring rolls and egg rolls were good. The atmosphere was nice with modern Vietnamese music. Looked and felt clean making my first time eating experience there good. After being served the waiter did not follow up with us on drink or dessert and it was not busy. Otherwise was satisfied.“

“One of the best tasting meals we've had! The soft pork and tempura crunch roll was delish as well as the combo meat bahn and beef pho. We had a quick visit to Pacific Beach and this restaurant was conveniently located near (2 blocks) Crystal Pier. The food and customer service was on point! We will be back to SD and this is a definite return spot!“

“The food: 1. The mì quảng ếch was alright, the flavors were not as bold or captivating as I expected, I added a good amount of chili to it. The frog meat was very, very tender to my liking. 2. My friend ordered the bún mắm heo quay and this was way better than what I ordered tbh. Pork belly was very crispy, the fermented fish sauce was bold and rich with umami and acidity as I expected. The pickled carrots and daikon that came with the noodles added some pleasant sour taste as well. The service: Average, the waitress came to take our order and she asked us if we needed anything else. Nothing extraordinary. The ambiance: The music could be a little louder, I could clearly hear other people's voices in the restaurant. It was pretty empty on an early Saturday evening though. Be warned that it's a struggle to find parking in this plaza's parking lot.“

“This is definitely not my first time here and I really don't know why it took me so long to write a review. So lazy! Anyways.. the service here is always amazing. They have a huge craft beer selection and wines I believe. I only come here for the food! We had the chow mein with beef, spring rolls, fried tofu, combination noodle soup with flat rice noodles and roasted duck noodle soup with thin rice noodles. Al were delicious. The roasted duck was flavorful and not oily. Love the clean taste of the broth. Can't ever go wrong with spring rolls. The tofu might have been a tad bit over fried but it's not gonna hinder this review. The chow men was delicious. The noodles were deep fried and it held the gravy well. When ever we are in the area we always stop by.“

“Incredible Vietnamese sandwich. I had the grilled chicken and it tasted so amazing. I also had the surf and turf fries, which were really tasty but still had the Vietnamese spices and flavoring on the meat. It was pretty good. The banh mi was very filling and the chicken was thick pieces. Both meals could have easily been shared, they were very large portions. They told me that my order would be done in 10 minutes and it was probably done even faster. I highly recommend checking this out.One thing to note is the prices online are not the prices in the store. Both items were around $13 dollars, but definitely still worth it. The sandwich was as long as much thigh!“

“A San Diego classic. The new space has lost some of the charm, but feels much much on trend. Come for great baked goods, good sandwiches, and.... mmm those drinks! It's very busy during lunch and right as school lets out, but the turnaround is quick and the food and bev are worth it. Explore their menu and find your favorite, then explore again and find more.“

“Another Pho shop nearby that we wanted to go to was closed so we ended up checking out Pho Little Saigon. This mom and pop shop is tucked away in a small shopping plaza on Midway Drive and can be hard to miss. The restaurant is tiny with less than 10 tables. As you make your way to the bathroom you'll get to pass by the kitchen and what seems like prep/storage. It might look like a mess but growing up Vietnamese. This is how exactly my house would look like. I was craving Bo Luc Luc (shaken beef) and glad to say this did not disappoint. Their fried rice was exactly how I like it, with just scrambled egg and green onion. The beef was flavorful, juicy, and garnished with fresh herbs. The portion was just right and felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. My boyfriend got the banh mi and he said it wasn't the best he had but still pretty good. The service was fast and friendly as we ordered, ate, and paid for our food all within 30 minutes. I'm glad we took this detour and tried a new Vietnamese spot here in Point Loma. I definitely want to come back for their Pho.“

“Every time I visit, the food comes out so quick. I tried the brisket pho, and it was great. It comes with a lot of noodles, and the broth flavor is delicious. I also got a Thai tea boba which was a little too sweet for me, and the boba pearls had a weird texture but overall still good. They have plenty of tables, so it's usually not a long wait. The staff is very attentive and quick. I've been here a few times already and plan on coming back.“

“Everyone else's food was good except mine so minus a star lol. I ordered ahead for pick up 3 appetizers and 2 main dishes about $95. Our food was ready when promised and packed well no leaks. Barbeque chicken wings were awesome. Both types of imperial rolls were excellent and still crispy even though I hit traffic getting it home and came with ample lettuce, herbs and sauce. The peanut sauce we liked the best. Clay pot Salmon was small but tasty. Jasmine tea was terrible I decided to spit it out and toss it after the third sip. Vegetable fried rice was lacking the " fried" aspect more like undercooked dry vegis tossed in leftover rice so I couldn't recommend that dish. Overall decent, a bit pricey but typical for that area.“

“Best Pho in San Diego hands down. Authentic, CLEAN and super consistent. I eat here almost every week - even the water they serve is high quality. Hidden gem, if you know you know. Yes there are a other authentic tasty spots on El Cajon and Mira Mirimar but none that make you feel good after you eat it like PK.“

“We've been here before and their food is pretty good. They just remolded the place and it's more inviting now that it's more spacious. We called basically at 8:35 at night and asked if we can still go there and it as we were only 5 minutes away. There were 3 of us and they were willing to let us go there and eat inside which was pretty cool. They were getting ready to close for the night but they were nice enough to allow us to go there and eat inside. The food was good, service was quick and nice inside. Definitely recommend it.“

“We came in on a Friday night so the wait was a bit long but wasn’t too horrible. We ordered salted fried shrimp and two small combo pho. The salted fried shrimp was spot on and wasn’t oily at all, it was super crunchy and delicious head to tail (yes you eat the whole shrimp). The pho broth was okay but they gave us soooo much meat and lots of varieties of cuts, so it was still very filling. One down side is they don’t have condiment bottles, and gave us sauce packets. Overall, a cozy and satisfying meal for a cold night“

“I'm in Vietnam and just went to the US to work and visited San Diego to visit. Accidentally heard the introduction of the restaurant. Tried it and found it had a good taste of Hue beef noodle soup (a little more spicy for a similar taste). There are all older aunts and uncles here, so the service will not be like modern, Western restaurants. But I like this style ? It's very Vietnamese. The taste is not super excellent but still delicious to me. Please support this shop.*Cash onlyI'm from Danang, Vietnam and just got a new job opportunity in the US. Came by the restaurant and tried beef lemongrass noodles. It tasted good to me and reminds me of Vietnam flavor though it's not 100%.The staff are mostly adult immigrants and speak little English. Their service is not excellent and professional but intuitive and very old school. But I really like it! Very tranditional Vnese service. I don't mind waiting a bit more or taking a wrong order as I understand from their immigration background. Please support this restaurant if the food tastes good for you and excuse for some unprofessional service and understand their story from an immigrant standpoint.*cash onlybun bo hue -beef lemongrass noodles - $14.5 + $2 tips“

“It's a tradition with me when it rains, find myself a pho restaurant to eats at...sure enough wonders by here. When I walked in, the place was pretty empty with only one table were seat with a party of four. Within 10 minutes, the restaurant become filled with patrons. I don't blame it because when I walked in and was greeted by its sweet aroma of pho broth. While I ponder on the menu on what shall I have with the pho dish. This place is promoting these pepper chicken for $19.90. I figured why not give that a try. Well, I think it's Vietnamese style of pepper chicken wings they covered it with oyster sauce!! Ugh, not the pepper chicken wings that I'm used to. But they are quite juicy and tender. It's more on the sweeter side for this dish. I'm used to pepper chicken on the salty and peppery ... To each our own.“
