“Been going to this place for atleast 15 years when visiting Newport. The service is great. The pizza is quite good for California pizza (pizza snob). In the summer the windows are wide open and you can sit there and feel the breeze come right off the ocean. I always get one schooner of beer. That’s basically one really big beer. All you need. Make sure you aren’t driving. After you eat take a walk down the pier to burn off the calories.Kid-friendliness: The last I was there I had my ex and step kids. No issues at all with them there. Wasn’t crazy inside. Everyone was nice. I probably wouldn’t bring kids there late in the evening though. I mean it’s nothing against the venue. It’s that it’s not appropriate to bring your kids to a sports bar at night when it’s time for folks to party and whatnot.“
“We stopped here with our dogs after a day at the beach. Pretty good food and beer! We had the fish tacos and the fish and chips. Both were solid. The patio was perfect to sit outside and enjoy the weather and the server helped us immediately. Bartender was cool too. Try this spot!“
“Myself and my spouse have been eating here for the last 6 or so years now. I can say the quality of the food, staff and overall restaurant is great! It's an intersection of locals, folks who are "in the know" and tourists it seems like, emphasis on locals. I generally don't think that is always the tried-and-true sign of a good eating establishment, but in this case it certainly rings true. Their portions are great, the quality and consistency of the food is great. It's a bit of a vestige of an older era of restaurants/bars that simply served good food, a vibrant bar, and a little bit of something for everyone. I think perhaps due to ownership, kitchen staff and waitstaff they've really been able to keep it at a very good quality while not having to reinvent themselves or update to modern "culinary experiences" that many of us are used to seeing today in newer establishments. It's really worth checking out- it's unpretentious, offers consistent, quality food and great service.“

“Sweet spot to grab a drink if your bike riding up the coast. Cool people strong drinks and great views. They have plenty of TVs for Sunday football and even Nascar. Plenty of places near by to order some food and sometimes they have a Taco truck . Best to ride a bike there because parking does get tight. Our goto when we are in the area, near the ferry also. They have 2 pool tables and a jukebox.“
“Had the Drunken Fries with Rattlesnake and Rabbit Sausage and it was absolutely delicious ? definitely recommend coming here for a beer and food in DTSA. Or if you are walking from another bar and need something to soak up your drinks, this is a place to do it with good eats. Service was a touch slow, but it could've been due to low staff or it being busy for trivia night. And they do cook the food fresh upon order (they had a sign at the register) so it is piping hot (which my food was ??). I cannot argue with any of that“
“I was staying in Costa Mesa for a couple of weeks on business and had the pleasure of visiting Patrick’s Pub. Drew, Andy and all of the bartenders, not only made sure that I got treated like family and a local, they went out of their way to make me feel right at home. If you visit Costa Mesa and don’t stop here for a drink, I promise that you are missing out. I would give this place a 1000% positive rating if I could but will have to settle for the highest 100% on here. Thank you so much Patrick’s Pub staff, you have made every experience I have had there, absolutely amazing.“
“Amazing food and bar drinks! They only had one server which was inconvenient but she was very nice and the food came out fast. We had the kitchen sink sandwich and cowboy up burger, bother were absolutely delicious. They also have fun patio seating.“
“Everything was perfect, from the drinks to the appetizer to the entree and to the dessert. So delicious. If you’re in Huntington and want some calm atmosphere overlooking the beach and some good food, come here.Parking: Restaurant will validate your parking in the garage.“
“Was introduced to Loingboard's on SpringDale and Bossa, this past week. LOVE IT. As a matter of fact we went there on Wednesday and then again on Friday. Atmosphere is great. Food is fantastic. A big shout out to, Chloe, Taylor, CJ and Alec as they are absolutely WONDERFUL. They go above and beyond for you and have the best smiles and attitudes. They make you want to come back. SO WE SHALL. You've got to try this place, if you haven't already.“
“I'm really not a huge fan of beer, but I am a huge fan of breweries ;) Not sure why it took me so long to find this place, but it's definitely a great place to go when you want to hang, drink, and eat with your friends! We asked the man in the front for any recommendations that's sweet. He suggested, so I got the What The Huck (Huckleberry Cream Ale). It was pretty bearable for my boyfriend and I, and I actually came to like it (only a little). It was sweet and the aftertaste wasn't like a bitterness I'm used to having. There's an indoor seating area and an outdoor patio with seating. Wasn't hectic the day I went so it's perfect if you needed a place to hang out. I'd have to come back to switch it up from my usual Brewery X.“
“This is such a cute and cozy restaurant on Balboa Island, great to stop in and grab a bite to eat after a walk around the island. The Stuffed Zucchini Flowers, RH Mac & Cheese and the Short Rib Fettuccine were the favorites of the evening by far. We could have just ordered doubles of these dishes and been in bliss. The shrimp and scallop curry risotto and chicken pot pie, for my taste were a bit bland; however, the rest of my dinner party did not agree and for them, the chicken pot pie was up there with the three favorites of the evening.“
