“I had an amazing experience at Cam Anh Deli! The food is absolutely delicious, with a diverse range of authentic Vietnamese dishes that are both healthy and flavorful. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the service was exceptional—super friendly staff who made me feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for tasty, healthy Vietnamese food. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I’ve had hundreds of fresh spring rolls in my life from a bunch of different places around the US… this is by far the best place. Sometimes I order them a couple times a week. You can get them with peanut sauce or their amazing special sauce (which I do) The pho is amazing too and also the fresh coconuts“

“Love a good banh mi that comes from inside a market deli. We came for a sandwich and wanted so much more. Lots of choices from the hot bar made us want to come back.
We got two banh mi’s on this visit and a couple spam musubis. So good.“

“Super delicious!
Quick service!
Very stuffy and humid as expected.
We came here for our lunch break hour and were delighted by our meals.
Ordered the large bun bo hue and medium pho dac biet. The large was very generous and filling. Both broths were tasty and and mostly balanced. We felt the food was fairly priced. This was my first time trying Huyet/blood cake and was surprised I liked it. Wasn't gelatinous like I thought. Their tripe is SUPER good. It had flavor instead of just being there for texture, and it vaguely reminded me of menudo.
Also ordered a sugarcane juice and ice thai tea. Both were super delicious and fresh. Definitely worth noting that they fill the entire cup with ice and poured the beverages below ice level which is something you might not expect for $6
They had great condiment options at the table but definitely need to clean then as they were super dirty.
There was a rush that came I'm around 1PM which makes sense because the food is great. Definitely will be coming back to try some more!“

“I got the special combo ham sandwich without cilantro and jalapeno - but I found a jalapeno in my sandwich. My partner also found jalapeno in #20 grilled pork with lemon grass even it was ordered with no jalapeno. Beside that complaint, the banh mi was really good! The bread is soft and crunchy without hurting the roof of our mouth and it's fully stuffed with the meats and veggies while being affordable!
Although the inside of the shop is clean and organized, the streets is seemingly sketchy and dirty looking so be cautious. It might be hard to find parking.
Otherwise, it's worth to stop by to try!“

“At this location, the fried garlic is served separately—a detail I truly appreciate. I also really enjoy their thin egg noodles, which strike a perfect balance between chewy and tender without becoming overly soft. However, the dish tends to be quite oily, so if you prefer lighter meals, this might not be ideal for you.
My usual order is the Number 1 without kidney, with the soup served on the side. I also always add fish cake as an appetizer. The total cost for two regular dishes plus one appetizer comes to $53.75.
What I love about this restaurant is how it evokes the authentic flavors of Thailand’s street food, especially the dry yellow egg noodles. While it doesn’t include traditional Thai-style char siu or wontons, the taste remains quite close to home.
This well-established Chinese restaurant impresses me with its surprisingly clean restrooms, likely due to my morning visits. Parking can be difficult, as only metered street parking is available. The branch tends to be busy, so clear communication with staff is important. Although there may be a short wait, the service is attentive and friendly.“

“Pho was great! Order was ready quickly compared to another spot I had tried to order from. I love having the option to select beef broth with my veggie pho! The soft fried tofu in the veggie pho was so good!! The grilled shrimp and pork spring rolls were delish too! Will definitely be back - nice to have so close to my home!“

“I went here after work! I was famished! I was so happy w how cute their decorations are! The music was lovely! Sauces chili oil so good! And i cant believe they have Banh Khot! As its a bit labor intensive. Ive only had it at Tayho. Well this is their mamas recipe! Its a crispy coconut crepe w shrimp. They gave me fancy butter lettuce shiso and mint wraps for each one! I feel so pampered! Its now my favorite order! Noodle soup too is perfect for winter rainy days. Parking is a lot and super convenient location! Thx so much for feeding this famished lady. ?
Kid-friendliness: Yes christmas decorations and festive music . Kids menu too!

“First time here based on recommendation from a friend.
Hu Tieu Kho was delicious! Reminds me of the savory dry wonton noodles except that there’s no wonton but there are quail eggs, fried pork skin, slices of pork, shrimp and pork giblets. Together with the beef soup, it hit the spot on a cold day.
Cha Gio was crispy, and the filling was tasty. Some places have fried spring rolls that are on the mushy end and that tends to be very oily. But not here.
Com Tam (broken rice) plate was yummy. The pork chop was tender and flavorful. The steam pork egg was excellent - many places serve this too but they tend to be dry. But it was juicy, tender and full of flavor here.
Only thing that we didn’t like here was their slice steak pho. It may be personal preference as the soup had a strong taste of a spice or herb that we are not used to and so it threw us off from the usual pho.
Will be back for more Hu Tieu Kho, Cha Gio and Com Tam.
Parking is tight and it’s the party Oakland where you have to be careful.“

“Holy Basil is one of our absolute favorite places to get delivery from in the Bay Area. Our kids are addicted to the bao buns and garlic noodles. I'm obsessed with the tofu vermicelli. Nothing is cozier on a cold day than their Chili Lemongrass soup. Nothing is more refreshing on a hot day than their fresh rolls and ginger lemonade. We love Holy Basil food!“

“So good! Found this spot when I was in the Town and craving a banh mi. I ordered the combo and a bbq pork. Both did not disappoint. Tastes super fresh - meat, veggies and bread were on par with b mi’s in SJ. I hope they continue to make amazing food like this. As long as they do, I will be a frequent customer. The East Bay needs more delicious Viet spots like this.“

“Super cute spot with great service and great food! The waiters were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed multiple times. The restaurant stays on-theme throughout the establishment which is always fun! I even saw them give the family next to us some monster balloons for the kids. Pho broth was sweet and noodles were delicious. I would definitely come back :)“

“Pho Huong Que serves up a comforting, well-balanced bowl of pho with rich broth, tender meat, and fresh herbs—everything you’d want from a no-frills Vietnamese spot. The flavors are clean and satisfying, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming.
What makes this place stand out even more is the convenience of on-site parking—a huge plus in a neighborhood that can feel a bit rough around the edges. Despite the surrounding area, the restaurant itself feels safe, clean, and welcoming inside.
Service is quick and efficient, and prices are fair for the quality. It’s not a fancy spot, but it doesn’t need to be. When you’re craving a warm, honest bowl of pho, this place hits the spot.“

“The Vietnamese spring rolls with shrimp are the best I’ve ever had! The shrimp taste incredibly fresh, and the vermicelli noodles perfectly complement the other flavors without overwhelming them. The peanut sauce has an ideal consistency that makes dipping effortless and delicious.
I also LOVE the shrimp salad!!!“

“Step right up, order and pay first, menu on the wall - fast service, delicious, fresh ingredients, Spring rolls and egg rolls done just right - the meat is marinated and sweetened and perfectly grilled, the pickled carrots, green onion, daikon are all still fresh and nicely rice vinegared. Great lunch place, we'll be back to try the Banh Mi next!“

“One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants! Great food, great service. Totally clean and good place to eat, not really a place for "atmosphere" but you wouldn't expect it to be. Get the combo rice plate with the pork hop and shrimp cake!“

“There is a reason they sell out early everyday! Really delicious grilled pork, chicken or combo bahn mi. The fresh baguette is my favorite part. There is something about it that makes the sandwich taste even better than other places.
Great value. $6 per bahn mi. If you buy 4 sandwiches, you get a $2 discount. My favorite bahn mis!“

“My parents go regularly to this restaurant for breakfast, and every time I’ve been available I also go with them. Their pho broth is delicious without anything added, and they give you a healthy side of greens to make the dish even better. My dad religiously gets the bun bo hue and nothing else. The staff are very nice and service quick. Highly recommend!“

“Great neighborhood Vietnamese Food. I had the BBQ pork plate and was impressed by the quality, however I felt that the portion size was a little on the smaller end.
The atmosphere feels like an old school hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant.
Would recommend !

“I really loved the Lao Special menu. You can order small portion of diverse foods. I ordered several items I have never eaten before, and they were all fantastic. The fermented pork sausage was the most "out there" dish from an American point of view: I didn't even know such a thing existed. Nice interior, and the service is great. This is some of the best Laotian food I've tried in the Bay. It turns out the portions are pretty generous, so I took soke home for another meal.“
