“The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating... they called before we arrived to discuss the notes we entered when booking, and continued to perform at that level throughout. Food was very good, nice ambience, really all in all a lovely experience.”
“The best French food in LA. Chef is outstanding. Staff incredible. So yourself a favor. Go.”
“Every dish was delectable, and great service! We all had a fantastic time there! Definitely will be back, and for celebrations.”
“Love this place. We had Thanksgiving dinner here, with a special menu, so weren't able to sample the regular selection as much. But if crab cakes are part of the regular menu: they are amazing. Service was also top notch. Will gladly come again if we find ourselves in the area in the future.”

“Delicious Zaru Soba set. The dipping broth had a wonderful unique flavor. The tempura on the side was perfectly bartered and not overly oily. Everything was fresh and delicious. Beautiful atmosphere - l can’t wait to try more here.”
“4 of us ate at the new Craft at LA Live but I can't find it here so recommending them on the Pasadena location. This was the second night they had been open last Saturday. Service was outstanding. Judy did a terrific job taking care of us and the head chef and owner cam by to welcome us. Food was outstanding too. Great place.”

“If you know, you know.
This little hidden gem serves great Indonesian and Hawaiian comfort food classics. You truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but if it’s your first time, you must try the crispy fried chicken and the Indonesian fried rice.
This place is clearly run by people who care about what they do, and it shows in the quality of the product.
There’s not a lot of space inside, so it’s generally a takeout spot, but don’t let that deter you from trying it.”
“Going local-origin for my next batch of pumpernickel bagels. Choco-latte and Nicaraguan chocolate down here are legit crazy awesome!”
“Sometimes you’ll meet Yvonne there, who is so charming and sweet, you’ll want to be her friend. The owner of a flourishing mail-order bakery, Yvonne opened this cute bakery in a great location a year and a half ago or so. We’re very lucky that she decided to land in Pasadena. We’ve tried a lot of items, from the ube cakes to the jalapeño scones to the full cakes! Everything is great (and amazingly, also gluten-free, I believe). My absolute favorite is the coffee cake.”
“Had to stop by my favorite Italian grubbin in the heart of Old Town Pasadena all the way from Boise. This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.”

“Really fabulous experience. We were visiting and stumbled upon this place by accident because the smell caught our nose. Service was great, and the chef was excellent and kind. He does a rotating menu based on the seasons so ingredients are seasonal and very fresh. The dishes were refreshing, flavorful, interesting and not too heavy. We ordered the waldorf salad, grilled sourdough (so good), tuna crudo, aguachile, and risotto (amazing). Wanted to try the griddle cake but they were out. Also you must get the strawberry shortcake for dessert if its in season, we ate it so quick and savored every bite. Thank you to the team at Holy Saints, we’ll be back!”
“Surprised by the best kung pao shrimp I’ve had in my life. Fresh julienned ginger, scallion, garlic; a brown sauce that showed care and layered attention - not some slapped together mass processed food. The young lady serving was kind, precise, and sat to clean green beans in any down time. Reminded me of my family in India, the women’s hands busy all day with preparation,
with the food from the earth.”

“Delighted to see them come back. We were there last night for the third time since their opening with friends who live in Orange County and had driven specifically to be there. Saying they were not disappointed would be an under statement. Happy and relieved that our search and disappointment for Indian Cuisine has ended.”

“Ohhhhhhh so good. I think I met the owner behind the counter, making our lunch. He is making his Armenian grandmother (his tatik) proud. He loves his customers. This is both a catering kitchen and walk-up restaurant with a few tables.
Only three items on the restaurant menu. Got one of everything and split it. You can tell it’s all hand made. The dumplings are flavored perfectly, and maybe a bit of mint on top? On the herbaceous and acidic side, not sweet, but also richer and deeper than a meatball. Can get spicy or regular. Some of the dumplings have crunchy edges. Really unique and tasty. Need 100 more.
The cheesy layered bread was INCREDIBLE. Like. Fly across the country incredible. Flakey, salty, buttery. Melty. Chewy. Crisp. Perfect everywhere.
The salmon sandwich is generous and seasoned well, cooked well, and holds together well. Really really great and I want to go back already.”
“I unfortunately traveled from L.A on July 6th only to find out they were closed. There was a sign but would have appreciated notification online prior to the trip. I didn't call because they don't answer phone calls ?.No worries..still love and will visit again.”
“We drive 35 miles at least three times a month to eat here. We love Home State and as a Native Texan, I can attest that their queso is the real deal!!! I just wish they'd open one in Claremont, CA!!! The Don't Mess With Texas is my favorite taco and my husband loves the brisket taco. Everything is amazing though!!!”

“Focaccia bread was freshly made and warm, and the greens of the salad also very fresh and crisp. The portobello mushroom in the mushroom sandwich was very flavorful. My only reservation is the sun dried tomato spread instead of actual sun dried tomatoes. Very healthy plant based choices.”
“Amazing smoothies and bowls! Yummmmy! Cute shop with food and gift items as well!”
“Food was absolutely delicious! Jonathan was an exceptional - guided us through the menu.”

“The asparagus fries. Crispy & not greasy. You can appreciate the asparagus flavor. We split the Thai spicy salad. It was spicy, but the Thai basil & the peanut dressing were the stars. It didn't need the chicken. The best was the ribeye melt. The meat was cooked perfectly. The sourdough was crusted with parmesan. With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.”
“Haven't been here for a couple of years, as the last time we didn't enjoy the company of rats. They didn't even offer to buy in. This last time we went to a different area and the brunch was great. Truly like the croissant style cinnamon rolls and breve. We also had both types of benedicts and they were great.”
“This kebab restaurant was fantastic! The cozy interior, flavorful food, and excellent service made for a perfect experience. Our server, Alina, was especially outstanding—friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend and will definitely return!”
“The food has to be experienced!! It’s high-end in taste and presentation, and the staff are professional but so fun that you feel like you’re with family. They are attentive to detail and will bend over backwards to make sure you have what you need. Service with a smile; this company is pure joy!”
“Our server was awesome... her recommendations were spot on! the food surpassed our expectations! exceptional...The ambiance was relaxing for a Friday night and perfect for our friend's birthday celebration. thank you for making it so special. Very happy party of 4 enjoyed dinner at Marina!”
“It was wonderful! Historic surroundings (ask about it). The staff provided assistance with the menu and offered valuable suggestions. The service was great and pizza was quickly delivered without compromise. Created with quality ingredients and crust with a nice chew. I highly recommend this one.”
“We were seated in the banquet room, where there is not much charm. Service was attentive, taking care of presenting each dish, removing finished plates, and being nearby, usually, when attention was wanted. Cocktail Manhattan quite nicely made. The Malbec we ordered was ok. The food was fresh, properly prepared. The main dishes were rich, but not balanced with a vegetable. I could have eaten 1/3 less of the main and had a break from the richness of cremes, fats and spices with some smaller side of something less rich, pasta, rice or a vegetable. Our desert was creme brulé. Seemed like it was not just prepared for us, no heat in the caramelized topping, neither hot nor cold center, and underwhelming as a result. Almost every restaurant these days has this dessert offered, so one would hope to have an excellent version at Malbec. I doubt we will dine here again. Sorry.”

“It's Jack's place! what's to say? Not allot of atmosphere, their food is OK, some good, like my love of Jack's tacos? I can't say why I like them, I just do!! I was surprised though this last trip thru, a lady sitting inside asked if I'd like a coupon for a sandwich, so I tried a Cluck sandwich, SURPRISE!! I liked it a lot, actually pretty tasty chicken sandwich. Good size piece of breast meat, cheese and dressing on a bun, yum!”
“The food is yum the perfect employee’s are very attentive care about their customers very professional they don’t shove your food in a bag and send you on your way. That’s the new thing instead of a tray other restaurants are shoving your food in a to go bag . Very rude I guess think. But not Del ”
“We order here when our other locations are close or don’t feel like driving to El Monte. When try placing an order in the phone their is no answer. When we get there they are not busy at all. Food is ok it could be better is it was atleast hot. Sometime our burritos are if that room temp.”

“The service, the food, the environment and the kindness and efficiency of our server tonight! 😋👍”

“Was recommended this place by a colleague and it was AMAZING! I’ve gone now twice in one week. Especially love the Detroit style and the two layers of pepperoni. Very quaint location with good vibes but best of all delicious food.
Parking: Small parking lot: better off on the street”
“Terrific restaurant. Great food in an inviting atmosphere. Exceptional pancakes and coffee. The service was notable for a diner. The seating was comfortable, and the replicas of famous paintings was cool. It is worth mentioning again that the pancakes are head and shoulders above any other that I've tried. I would go out of my way to return to Russell's.”
“Ordered a small lemon bar ice. Thought $8.50 was a bit pricey for a small. Oh, it's HUGE. It was a meal in and of itself. It was very sweet, and was enough to share with some else really. Would like a smaller size to be available. Hit the spot on a sunny warm afternoon, but I think I'll be skipping supper. 😆”

“Let me just say I recently discovered this secret little gem. I enjoyed the mushroom coffee drink. I felt great after I drank it. I also ordered another café late and it was good too. It's at a gas station in north Pasadena in the back. The owner is a delight and excited to talk about his coffee. He is a coffee afficionado for sure. I will be back.”
“If you’re craving legit Sichuan hotpot, Qing YaoMei is the place to go. The broth is rich, spicy, and packed with flavor – just like in Chengdu! The beef tripe, duck blood, and handmade shrimp paste were all super fresh. Bonus points for the amazing dipping sauce bar and cozy atmosphere. 10/10!”
“Delicious, stupendous, fun-filled evening with convivial personalities always attending to our needs. Owner Kari is delightful and you will have the warmest hospitality warm welcoming while noshing on the most delicious choice of grub!! No slacking here; food is beautifully prepared by co-owner Kevin with farm fresh to table delights, whatever is in season and at its peak of freshness. Hubby and I so highly recommend and we don't say that lightly- we aren't always the easiest to please with all our fussy requests. None ever needed here as we will take each and every dish just as Kevin prepares it. Hoping they can host our daughter & future son-in-laws reception!! Can't imagine on giving their guests anything short of delightful and scrumptious selections!! Check schedule as they often are hosting weddings, parties, and such with no wonder why!!”
“The corn beef Reuben was amazing! It was the most flavorful and tender corned beef I've ever eaten. My only complaint was that I ordered 2 on rye and 1 on sourdough, ALL grilled. Only the rye were grilled so I had to grill the sourdough myself when I got home, which was aggravating because I was starving! Otherwise I would've given 5 stars.”
“Stopped in on a whim and accidentally found my new fav sushi spot in Pasadena. The fish was so fresh, the rolls were inventive and fun, and the sushi rice was perfect.”
“Dos Besos took me right back to Spain. We split several tapas and entrees and all of the food tasted natural, fresh, and flavorful. All dishes were cooked to perfection and seasoned with precision and care. Wonderfully curated wine list as well. The entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming from entering to exiting the restaurant, and we could not have asked for a better experience overall. One of the best restaurants in the Pasadena and LA area!”

“THE BEST Mediterranean food in LA County! Their filet mignon and chicken have great flavor. I love the hummus and pita chips, which they season themselves. The cauliflower, rice, and pita are also delicious!
Parking: Parking lot behind, enough spaces
Kid-friendliness: Delicious for all ages”
“Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot. The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good, and the cappuccino was solid as well.”
“This place really surprised me! Great food and vibes. I’m a student at PCC and pass it frequently.
Decided to pop in for a night, and maaaan I’ve been thinking about it since! I got the Mahi tacos and the hibiscus margarita! SOOO GOOOOD!!!! And the staff is also super friendly.
They also offer a student discount, which is really awesome for someone like myself!!!
Definitely worth a frequent visit if you’re a student or a local!”
“My daughter is 10 years old. She loves to eat here, the food in the soup taste so good, and the soup is very yummy to drink too. She likes to eat inside of the store. She really enjoyed there. In this store, parents will never worry about kids are too picky for food, because they likes everything there 😄,and we got gift cards there too, would like to share this good neighborhood restaurant with our friends”
“Mountain Mikes brings a lot of memories from my Bay Area days!
First of all, excellent service and felt very welcomed by Miles (Go Mavs).
I loved loved the Everest and Chicken Luau. We got a medium split between two flavors and the boneless bbq chicken and it was yum! I really liked the cheese and toppings, some of the freshest ingredients I’ve had.
As a New Yorker, I hate to say it but Mountain Mikes has some of the best pizza. I find the pizza here really high quality and tasty— can’t wait to get the pepperoni next time.
I love the fountain drinks too— had the apple soda and some of the horchata. Good family vibes, love the video games and the big TVs as well.
Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back with friends and family and Laker games ?.
Parking: Massive parking lot next to Amazon Fresh. No issue with parking.
Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. Fun arcade games and good family vibes.”
“Always an amazing time here. Been coming to this location for years now. Service is second to none and food is delicious.”
“The food and service is a 10! we will be back when in town. I'd come from Montana just to eat here it's that good”

“This restaurant has a large variety of different dishes to order from. I haven't been there for over 25 years and the food was excellent back then for breakfast. Excellent service and great company with old friends.”
“I’ve been 3 times in the past 3 weeks. Service and food is fantastic! Highly recommend Smitty’s Grill.”

“Old-school charm and service, elegant dining, live jazz piano at the bar. Been coming here for years and it’s still a super treat. 👍🏼👍🏼”
“Hands Down the best environment for a good 'ol Pre-Rose Bowl Game festivities. Got there around 9-30ish, the environment was starting to take on a Scarlet Red haze. Staff was perfect, rarely waited in line, great customer-drink recognition, The Blind Donkey had great food, service, environment, location - $65 bill w/a $35 tip & very much worth it - perfect way to lead into a winning day - Buckeyes!!!!”
“It was wonderful! Historic surroundings (ask about it). The staff provided assistance with the menu and offered valuable suggestions. The service was great and pizza was quickly delivered without compromise. Created with quality ingredients and crust with a nice chew. I highly recommend this one.”
“Holy cow I can't say enough wonderful things about AltaEats. Discovered them through their pandemic-era Roasties (cooked food to take home and eat) and we're still doing it with them now. The potatoes and green beans were so good last night (heaping portions!) that there were none leftover this morning for breakfast. The flank steak was cooked to absolute perfection. Their bread is the perfect complement to everything else. Highly recommended. Lovely people, too.”
“Great service and everyone treats you like family!! Hands down one of my favorite restaurants and thank you Paulina.❤️🥰”

“Salad Dressing is amazing. Parking is horrible. They said 10-15 for my order. 25 minutes and I got a $52 Parking Citation🤬🤬🤬🤬”
“Finally! Some decent Thai food in Pasadena. We had the Crab Fried Rice and Chicken Panang. Both were fabulous!!!
Update: Ordered from here again! Was not disappointed; everything was excellent! Ordered Crab Fried Rice, Chicken Panang, Egg Rolls, and Chicken Gyzos. Best Thai I've had in a long, long time.”
“Top tier service and food. First timer. The service was amazing and the staff were are really friendly with us. It was such a fun, chill vibe with great music and it felt like I was just hanging out. Loved it!”
“Great food and a friendly staff. It’s my go to for Mexican food whether I’m dining in or taking out.”
“Another time we were at BODEGON 69, it was a wonderful experience where everything that is expected for calcification was combined such as a great restaurant, service, atmosphere, food all excellent, but if that were not enough the owners Mauricio and Sandra showed us their usual gratitude for our visit but also with incredible generosity, surprising us with the unasked for preparation of a Peruvian snack in addition to a dessert that is not on the list and that Mauricio in charge of preparing it at that precise moment. Thanks for everything Sandra and Mauricio. A very strong hug.”
“ACH is always a fantastic choice. The steaks, appetizers, and sides are all to die for. Service is always top notch, and it would be a sin to miss out on the grand marnier soufflé.”
“Eclectic but elegant setting with an excellent curated wine offering and one of the finest reserve lists anywhere. The charcuterie sections are also first class. A stylish and sophisticated night out.”
“We had a great Mommy outing. The glass partitions made us feel safe.”
“Well worth the drive from Palm Springs! Excellent food and service!”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😍😍😍😍😍 every meal is made fresh. Hands down a favorite”
“Very good good food and nice service We really enjoyed dinner 🙏”
“Uniquely crafted cocktails that are both delicious and beautifully presented. Burning and Man; Peaches and Cream - my favorites ?
It's the perfect spot for a night out, and I can't wait to return”
“Its open and they really made sure its safe , service and food perfect . Happy days”
“ordered the Nozawa Trust Me and it did not disappoint! fish was fresh and brought out at a good pace - never went too long between plates, but also didn’t feel rushed. ordered some of the limited selection as well, and they were delicious (uni & eel)! highly recommend this place if you’re a sushi lover”
“Best Mexican food I've ever had.The Chile Colorado is amazing. As great as the food is, the service is even better. Lourdes is a gem. She is the definition of great service. Friendly, attentive and knows the large menu very well. Look no further for than Amigos Restaurant for great Mexican food.”
“Cool place to hang in Old Town Pasadena. Live music and a chill atmosphere.”
“The porterhouse was outstanding. Shareable for 2-3 people. Loved the grilled wedge salad as well as the Broccolini side. Highly recommend, especially considering the ambience of the hotel.”
“I still remember Veggie Grill when they were first starting out in Southern California years ago, down in the O.C. Over the years, their menu has changed, but they are still dependable and I really appreciate that you can get a 100% Vegan, tasty meal and fast, when you're in a hurry. It beats any national chain of real fast food (which is so unhealthy). Their current menu still has a few of their original favorites. The Santa Fe Chik'n Sandwich with guac, southwest mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions on a wheat bun is still fire and a must! Still crunchy and well done. :) Their Lentil Soup is another great item, high in fiber, healthy and well seasoned. The Smokey Mushroom Tacos with marinated asada mushrooms, shredded lettuce, pickled onions, guac, Baja sauce on warm organic corn tortillas are satisfying. I'm sad they removed their Kale side order (you used be able to get it steamed or sauteed), because that is pure healthy vegetable deliciousness.”
“I've been going to Yard House in Mission Valley for years and this is our first time at this location. They had a fairly busy turn out due to the fact that most diners were there waiting for the taping of America's Got Talent. We ordered 2 things and our food came quickly. The staff is polite, bathrooms are clean and food was good. You can park in the garage and they validate your parking.”
“This was my first visit and I wasn't disappointed! The all you can eat option was excellent ?, my cousins and I had four rounds until we had satisfied our appetites! I liked how they updated the restaurant from the previous occupants! I definitely will recommend and be back!”
“So, I was not expecting to have a beer while perusing a nee bookstore this weekend, but lo and behold! I desperately needed to charge my dying phone, and couldn’t find an outlet anywhere in the book aisles. So I stumbled across The 1894, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Their happy hour is awesome- a french pilsner for only $6! And the staff went out of their way to accommodate me near an outlet where i can drink and charge my phone. Again, was not expecting this pleasant bar, but will def be back!”
“I decided to try this place for the first time and it didn’t disappoint ! I arrived with my family including some toddlers & they right away anticipated our needs & brought our toddle cups of water . The food was very delicious & service was excellent !! Will most def come back again !! You won’t be disappointed ! :)
Kid-friendliness: Anticipated our toddlers need ! Very kid friendly”
“Cool atmosphere, great music, best bottomless mimosas, & Felix makes the best espresso martinis 🥰”
“I keep coming back for the veggies. The green beans and the seaweed with tofu is the best. Their knife-cut noodles with mushrooms have this fantastic smoky flavor—though the portion is a little small. Thankfully, you can swap in brown rice if you prefer.
The Salt & Pepper Tofu is a standout—crispy on the outside without being overly breaded—and the Spicy Pork Dumplings are just the right level of heat.
Pro tip: Parking is easier across the street if you’re cool with a short walk.
Downside: They can be a little understaffed at times”
“Update, two weeks later: So after a slightly rocky start, we went again - the food and wine were excellent as before, but the service really really improved since the last time. I can highly recommend this place to go for a good time. If you are with friends, make sure you try "family style" - order loads of munchies - the four of us shared the charcuterie board (the salami was among the best I ever had), the flatbreads, the baked brie - and a sample plate of their delicious oils - so so so good - and given the superb quality, reasonably priced. Not to forget: did you ever try vanilla ice cream with olive oil - you should ;-) So thankful they understood and appreciated my earlier review. I will surely go again soon. Previous review: Oh, what a wonderful place - and an amazing concept. My wife and I took two friends yesterday. We were seated at a table for two, with the promise to be relocated to the table next to us as patrons were close to getting their check. Never happened, no problem.I wanted to order a bottle of wine. The service recommended tasting their canned wines - 4 different ones for $49. Canned wine? I come from Germany, from Koblenz, where the rivers Rhine and Mosel meet. Canned wine? Seriously? Still, why not try something new?So the four of us received four balloon glasses with the four wines. Wine tasting? Share every glass physically with four people in times of Corona? They must be kidding. I would have expected to get four cans - and, in all honesty, four small glasses for each of us. Sure: it ain't the Ritz - a personal glass for each of us. But sure: this ain't "The Ritz," so we shared. We are really good friends, and we did have a good time. The wine was OK - which sounds as if something was wrong - it wasn't. It was OK - nice experience, but I would personally not order again - while it may be perfectly fine for you, the reader (by the way, I appreciate you reading this ;-)Then: the food. As with the wine, we wanted to share. We started with the baked brie, which was really really good, and the burrata flatbread, which came soaked, and I really mean soaked, in Oil. Sadly, it did not come with silverware. We asked three times but never got it. Then, we asked if we could have at least some napkins. We got two. We were here to share, weren't we ;-)I asked for the check. The printer had issues. Happens. We were not in a rush. Service offered a sip of wine while we had to wait. Sure, a nice gesture. Sadly, the wine never came. After just under half an hour, we got some sort of check - still issues with the printer. We were charged $61 for the wines - they were charged separately and not, as per the menu and recommendation, as the $49 offer. $12 was refunded. Receipt: sorry, the printer.I really wanted to love the place, and as we enjoyed the company of our dear friends in a nice atmosphere, loved the brie, and drank the wine, I did not want to spoil the evening by arguing about the service, which really "has potential."It would have been easy to make this a five-star recommendation, as the location, atmosphere and general concept scream fabulous. I would possibly go again. At the moment, I feel sorry for the place.”
“Experience France in a tiny bistro in old town Pasadena.
Food is fantastic. Service is a plus. Location is lovely.
Authentic. Everyone working there is french, and they know what they are doing.”
“Henry the bartender is one of the best ! His drinks are better then any I’ve had and his presence is what makes your bar area so inviting. I’ve come out there many times and you never disappoint! You have a forever customer! Oh did I mention the food is superb and taste fresh and is perfectly portioned!”
“Absolutely love this place. The food was excellent! For appetizers we had the meatballs and bruschetta. For the main dishes we had the vongole, chicken Parmigiano, kids' spaghetti and meatballs and kids' chicken fettuccine Alfredo. For dessert we had the cheesecake. Everything was so delicious! In addition, the staff Ronie and Santos were so kind, professional, friendly and attentive. Thank you for making this experience phenomenal.”
“always great food. today a problem with the fish and chips. over cooked and dry”
“Terrific staff and innovative cuisine. Small local restaurant who worked hard to keep staff through the pandemic closures with delicious creative take out and who are keeping everyone safe by requiring proof of vaccination for indoor dining. Fresh creative food.”

“I feel like this place would be a lot more popular if it was in a better location. A really nice restaurant offering a large selection of Japanese and Thai food. I only tried the sushi omakase and it was quite good. Good quality and presentation, with all sorts of different fish. Reasonably priced too, great spot for families and groups.”
“Another hidden gem! You can barely see it on Colorado Blvd but it's thee best bar in Pasadena!Jackie, the manager, does he job very well. She is as smart as she is beautiful.”
“First time here excellent food excellent service very nice place for sure we will be back, steak was cook perfectly
Parking: Parking behind restaurant”
“We had a great meal here. Much more chill than Aikan and we liked the options better because we don't need all you can eat. We had a mix of tuna, salmon, California rolls, as well as avocado, cucumber, vegetable and even a teriyaki chicken roll. We each enjoyed what we got.”
“I’ve been cutting out refined sugar and it’s been difficult but I came across this place and I was able to have a wonderful chocolate shake with almond milk and cocoa, yes it had sugar but pure cane sugar. It was a great alternative and it taste so yummy! I was also able to add toppings, healthy toppings, strawberries, blueberries, etc. so good! Can’t wait to go back❤️”
“Unassuming from the outside, but a truly great Japanese restaurant. Great quality on the seafood. The basic chirashi was very good with a fantastic variety of sashimi. I will definitely go for the deluxe next time! Definitely a must order is the Matsuri Gozen. It’s a beautifully organized set meal and the flavors are spot on.”

“It’s been years since I’ve visited and the food is still exquisite. So flavorful.
I visit Homage for gifts and treats then the record shop and goldbug nextdoor before I have a spectacular dinner here. Love this restaurant and the service.
Highly recommend.

“I recommend for my friends and partners, a suitable place....nice meal🥰”
“A family owned restaurant that has been operating for over 100 years, and there is a reason they have been thriving for so long. One of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to for sure. The restaurant is huge, and was packed even on a Wednesday evening. Seems like happy hour is very popular here, and they have a buffet lunch as well. Gigantic portions and absolutely delicious, highly recommended!”
“We went on a Friday night. Sat on the patio since it was a nice evening. We did not understand why there was only one waiter for the 7 seated tables. Then a large party (over 20 people) were seated outside near us. Our poor waiter was doing his best, with a smile on his face, but that was so unfair to him
One waiter would come outside "to help" but only talked to the 3 tables closest to the door. Two other ladies brought food out once to some tables. Unfortunately for us, we had the one who had her fingers in our plates. So gross.
We all liked the food & banchan. But since our poor waiter was by himself and this is seemingly the in kbbq place in existence that does not have grill runners, we spent a large amount of time with burnt grill pans before we could cook more meat.”

“Rodney's ribs are the Truth. I moved to Pasadena recently. I've had Q at Dreamland in Alabama, 12 Bones in North Carolina, Franklin's in Austin, Corky's in Memphis and Hecky's in Chicago, and this is some of the most righteously smoked meat I've ever had. Thank you, Rodney.”
“My significant other and I treated ourselves to 90 minutes of normal at The George and strongly urge you to do the same! Food, truffle fries, pork cop and salmon all delicious! Angela was our server and she was attentive and charming! The atmosphere was a comforting refuge. So take a break and support The George and have a wonderful meal with family and friends!”
“My first impression was the cleanliness and friendly staff. Secondly being my first time all my questions were met with great care to detail. And lastly the freshness and delicious food was phenomenal and priced very well. I am now a Kokoroll customer for life. Thank you! Ps. I only wish I’d found you sooner 😊 HIGHLY RECOMMEND AAA+”
“EXCELLENT food! Be warned: because we missed it- this is a market that does TAKE OUT ONLY! So, order ahead and pick up. I had the Jerk Chicken lunch- freaking FANTASTIC! My partner got a fish plate which was excellent as well. Staff nice, food good, order ahead!”

“Unusually pleasant tiny coffeeshop in a somewhat magical setting- - if it’s an odd time on a weekday, I am guessing. I came on a weekday afternoon and waited quite a while in line behind less than a dozen people for at least twenty minutes. It seemed excessive, to be honest- but maybe people were on break. The staff seemed really pleasant otherwise, and were also working hard - maybe something had malfunctioned and they had slowed down.
I noticed a patron sipping from an actual ceramic cup-always nicer than paper- andI ordered the gui hua latte. Both the flavor and the physical presentation of the drink were beautiful.”
“Going local-origin for my next batch of pumpernickel bagels. Choco-latte and Nicaraguan chocolate down here are legit crazy awesome!”
“Absolutely loved this place. We will definitely be coming back. We got Citrus Salad, Carne en su Jugo & Carnitas Wow, just Wow!!!!!”
